All the hype surrounding GME I had to visit, good store and staff! I liked there selection of shirts and hats specifically. Wish they had more PC stuff though! Theyre definitely getting more of it, but I want a mousepad yo!!

Very good store Im a really big gamer myself and they have all the games that I never wanted from Red Dead Redemption to Call of Duty they have everything that you would have ever wanted they have little plushies and many games you can get controllers stuffed animals bobbleheads minifigures even some PlayStations I really like this place I definitely recommended this

Game stop is the go to store for your gaming merchandise. The store always has clean, fast, and friendly service. As an avid game stopper we come prepared.Notice that they take their customer service and safety extremely serious. So when you come there will, there will only be only six people allowed in the store at one time. So, when you come, dont come in a large groups, when one person walks out one person can come in. We love coming to this location because it has everything we need. And the manager and staff are awesome. Thank you Game Stop for out gaming needs.

I am a huge fan of GameStop and gamer. Everytime I go in this store I regret it. The employees are always rude and dismissive (especially management). So many times I tell myself not to use this location. Go out of your way and use a better GameStop location. This place in the years Ive gone keeps getting worse. Im done with it.

The employee was very rude to my son who was trying to buy his own item. We could not understand him talking very fast through his mask, and when we got out to the car we realized he had rounded up the change and not given us a choice of paying exact change. Not huge deal, but to a child who has saved up his money, it doesn’t seem fair. We will find another game stop next time.

So disappointed. I called to see if they had a Nintendo Switch Lite in stock before heading over. After the phone rang 15 or 20 times (figuring he was busy its not a big deal) the guy told me they had pink ones. I said awesome and drove over during rush hour traffic. The place was locked up at 5:15pm. There were multiple people waiting outside trying to make purchases as well. One lady said shed been waiting over 30 minutes. I left. It was a total waste of time. Game Stop has lost my business. My kids are super disappointed and now Ive got to find somewhere else to buy from.

Staff was very helpful in finding games that were not in stock and ordered them for us with free delivery to our home address. They were limiting 6 customers in the store at anytime temporarily due to Covid. They also required a mask.

I want the Gamestop employee to apologize to my 6 year old on Christmas morning on why he didnt receive his Christmas present. I placed an order 2 weeks ago in store on an in stock item. I didnt want to drive to Sandy to get it, so I had them ship it. I was told 5-7 days to receive the item and for sure by Christmas. Well, here we are 10 days out of from Christmas, and they havent even shipped it yet. We are told it will come on the 30th. I was lied to, but the employee made the sale, I guess. I literally, walked by the item at Walmart and Target yesterday. I need to learn that Gamestop has never been good experience.

Usually I am skeptical when it comes to Game Stop sometimes it does not get a good rep. However this particular one in American Fork is awesome the staff is always willing to help. I love to collect Funko Pops and Jessica always has a list of ones that I can place on hold for me so I dont miss out. Always super nice.

Not helpful at all. Received games online that didnt work, came to store to return as the website says we can and they said they had to have an original receipt that came with the packaging. I dont know what happened to that slip but I had both my email receipt showing the purchase, order number, date and price paid including promotion. For good measure I also printed off my receipt from PayPal. Still couldnt help me. Gave me a number to customer service that we sat on for hours and got disconnected from. Tried emailing customer service and have had no response. Will NEVER patron this company again and an warning others before attempting to do so as well. They need to work on their business model.

Disrespectful, rude staff. Heaven forbid you are a newbie at the gaming stuff, or just simply a parent trying to get a game for your kid. These people will ridicule, eye roll, mock, and laugh at you for asking simple questions. I hope this is not the experience at all gamestop locations, because this store just lost a costumer for life.

An employee recommended a game to my son which he bought with his birthday money. He went home and the game was not at all like what he thought was explained to him at the store. We tried to return it but they refused to give us full return credit for it even though it was their employee that recommended the game and my son trusted his opinion. So, we went to a different GameStop, and they returned the game for us for full credit, then my son purchased two great games with the money he now loves. Even though this GameStop is the closest to our home, we will stop going to this GameStop because of the subpar customer service, and we will go to the GameStop location that gave us full credit return and a way better customer service and mostly a great experience for my sons birthday.

Last weekend, I went to a party far away from where I live. The host forgot to bring a Nintendo Switch dock. I didnt bring one, so I went to the nearby GameStop to buy one so I could use it and later return it. That GameStop told me that that was completely fine, and I would get a full refund -- at ANY GameStop. I thought, Great! Turns out, they neglected to give me a power cord, which you need to even use the dock. We ended up not even using the Switch because we didnt have that part. So I bought the dock for nothing, went home, and a few days later went to my local GameStop. The manager, Josh, told me that since the part was missing, he couldnt return it. However, in a completely wonderful, genuine, sweet, and generous act, he bit the proverbial bullet and refunded me the total amount ($75!!). I was floored by his customer service. He saved me a lengthy, out-of-my-way trip to the other GameStop and did it with a smile. I cant thank him enough for his kindness. Give that man a raise!!

Recently I took my younger brother here(15) to get a T rated game for his DS and was told by staff that he had to ID proof that the was over the age of 17 (Which by the way is for mature games) so I had to show my ID and pay for it because my brother was too young to purchase this game. Im not saying that you have to have staff that plays video games 24/7 but it would be nice if the staff Had basic knowledge of the ESRB rating system.

After a new employee didnt give me the game I bought, the manager was super helpful and even tossed me a few freebies! Got it taken care of the next day, and if I was able to get there in time I could have gotten it the same day, he stayed behind after closing.I highly recommend this store, the manager is great!

Return policy is not their strong suite. Bought an item online during the lockdown, went to return it and was told they werent accepting returns at that time. Went back a month later and was told that they could no longer accept the return. They had been open long enough and I had lost my window of return. Still had the original receipt and the game in the shrinkwrap. Customer service sucked and they didnt care about my concerns. Avoid at all costs, shop elsewhere where the return policy is actually fair.

Came in to the store today and instead of being helped by the store manager he ignores me and my buddy and flirts with his coworker. I wouldnt have been so bothered but we were here for probably 15 minutes and got no greeting or any response from the staff. Ended up leaving buying nothing. Worst experience at this store I have ever had and will not be coming back.

Had a really nice experience at this GameStop location. We stopped by mid vacation to pick up a controller and the employee was very helpful in finding exactly what we needed. She was an awesome cashier and had great conversation skill while also being very efficient.If I lived closer I’m sure I’d got to this GameStop often.

Went in store about 10 minutes before closing, waited for customers ahead of me to finish. Went to trade in items and was refused because they closed in 2 minutes and the process takes 15 minutes. Why dont YOU DONT YOUR JOB. I didnt come in 2 minutes before you closed and I waited for you to tell me you didnt want my business.

I walked up to the counter to buy a game, two employees were behind the counter talking to each other while they were doing something with the register. I quietly stood there waiting for them to assist me or at the very least tell me they would help me in a moment. Stood there for 10 seconds and they literally didnt look up from what they were doing. I turned and walked out--last time I ever entered a Game Stop.

5 years ago, I loved going into Gamestop. Now, because of general availability of games through downloads, the luster is gone. They are trying to stay relevant through pop culture products, but the selection is lacking compared to what is generally available on the internet.

I know some GameStops get a bad wrap, but the team here has always taken care of me. We ran into an issue trying to trade in a game and the whole team came together to figure out what was wrong, troubleshoot and test solutions, and ultimately get us taken care of. They could easily have turned us away because of the trade-in problem, but instead, they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We dont buy a ton of games, but these guys will always have our business. Way to take care of the little guy!!!

Horrible customer service! Had a game in hand ready to buy but waited in line for 15 minutes before leaving. No one was in front of me except the person being helped at the counter. There were two people working, so one could have gotten on the other register. Neither employee said anything to me at all...no sorry for the delay, or well be right with you. just a simple hello would would have been great but not from these guys. In fact, while I was waiting in line one of the employees walked up behind me and and just stood there until I moved out of his way so he could walk by. Then I watched him walk behind the counter. He never said excuse me or anything. I dont know who is managing this store but they need to give a damn about the customer and teach that to staff. Basic customer service 101 guys!!

Bought a game two days ago. When I went to play it. It didnt work with the nitendo switch lite. I went back with my receipt. They would not give me full price back. They said since it was new and open that they could not. I said can I exchange for a equal value game. They said no. They can only give me 30 dollars. That is with credit in the store. Twenty five if I get cash back. They Are still money from people. Do not go there. your better off going to Walmart. Cash they will give you Your money back.

Employees are rude and I got a digital game that DOES NOT WORK and they refused to help me solve the issue and said contact Microsoft, Microsoft said they cant help and contact creators of the game the creators said they could not help, reached back out to GameStop to refund my waste of $40 and they refused it, I have emailed gamestop before and gotten a response but when I email I get ghosted, they are the worst business Ive ever seen!

GameStop is what you would expect. It is a videogame buyback / store. It has games and a lot of game related merch. Its not awfully busy, most of the time. I am usually able to get in and out. The problem is, it can be really difficult to make a decision, especially if you dont know what youre looking for. The cashiers do their best to know all the games and help you. But it can be difficult across different platforms, etc. Also new games are quite expensive and trade in values are not good at all!

She was very willing to help assist with anything needed and helped me understand the organization of the games to make it easier for me! I will definitely be going back! I called and asked them to hold a Wii game. They got my name and said they would hold it. I told them my daughter was on her way. She drove 45 minutes to get it, and when she got there, they had sold it to someone else. I called, and the guy that helped me did not seem to care at all about what he had done. Dying industry in my opinion. I hate buying physical copies of games because you have to download amd install them anyway and if you scratch a cd its gone forever. Ut a digital purchase in the comfort of your own home is good forever. Also overpriced. You can pretty much buy anything in this store cheaper on Amazon

Ive been to this store about 4 times. Its really a hit or miss. The 2 ladies that are there are fantastic and nice, theyll go above and beyond to talk to you and help with what you need. However im guessing the store manager seems to be irritated every single time I go in. Like its a chore for him to help me with anything and he always has a bad attitude.

*Two stars becuase I have personally only been here once. I have heard similar stories from others, but my experience is limited. Could have been one star*A drive north to Salt Lake or south to Orem would be worth your time instead of visiting this location. GameStop as a whole is a great company with usual great service; however, the customer service at this location is horrible. As stated above, I have heard similar stories of the employees treating the customers as if they (the customers) are not supposed to be there. Until the staff is flipped and new management is hired, I will not be returning to this location and will recommend others to do the same.

Staff are friendly and helpful. I dont like that the push the whole game card/club thing so hard. I dont go here often and its not really worth it to sign up. Seems to focus on high-end consoles, very little to offer for handhelds (could hardly find anything for a Nintendo 3DS XL for example). The area in front of the registers is cluttered and when the store is busy its hard to know where the line starts and ends. Pretty small store, can get pretty crowded easily.
