Always has what I am looking for. They are very good to keep a full stock of everything animal care, clothing, and guns. Super nice and clean place.

*Update: I received a call the next morning from a manager names Rose who I am familiar with and she let me know they had a new unit ready for me and was sorry about the confusion. Glad to see the company take responsibility. Thank you Rose!*I have always liked this store in the past for a variety of items. Yesterday I bought a brand new, Stihl weed eater as Cal Ranch is a dealer. When I got home I turned it on and ran it for 5 minutes or so until I realized the trimmer head was loose. I pulled the head off and the threaded shaft screw it attached too was completely stripped on one side. I brought it back in the morning and was told that it would have to be sent in to be repaired, and that it could take 2 months. I expressed my frustrations as I will have to buy another machine if it will be that long and asks if they would swap the unit with the other unit from the shelf. I was told that they could not and I was out of luck. I used the unit literally 5 minutes and it still looks new. Problems always happen, but I expect to be taken care of when I spend hundreds of dollars on an item. Disappointed to say the least. No return policy on the time and I have to wait 2 months.

Has to be the best cal ranch around Had everything I mean everything that I needed and more than that. Was blown away at the vastness of variety and size of the store. Every employee I walked passed asked how I was doing today and if they could help. Wow. 10 stars for the staff

Be careful what you buy here. I bought a pair of Georgia boots in August 2020. They fell apart rather fast so they helped exchange them for the same pair. And I’m July 2021 this other pair has fallen apart but since the first purchase was in 2020 they won’t exchange this other pair even though it was a new pair not even 5 months old. Don’t buy boots from them.

I got I nice pair of boats for a decent price I have had the for a year and they still look brand new!

I loved this store! All of the staff had smiling faces, and extremely excited to help you! One of a kind environment! Had just about any kind of item a country person could need or want. Cute authentic cowboy shirts for the boys all the way to small dirt bikes! Whiskey barrels and old time sodas/pop/coke what ever you want to call it! Even had Ale8 all the way from Kentucky!

Used to love this place until I encountered one of the rudest employees today… I believe her name was Ally. She made my Cal Ranch experience 0/10. Whenever I have been in there besides then, it was a 10/10

This store is by far the absolute worst with customer service! I have dealt with extremely bad customer service before in the past but for me to actually leave a bad review is saying a lot. Leaving them with 1 star is giving them way more credit then they deserve.

This place doesnt even deserve a star. Customer Service is terrible unless you are Caucasian. No masks when I walked in the store while I got eyes on me cause Im the only one wearing one in the whole store. No hello as I walk in except two females looking at me like I dont belong in there. Social distancing even for employees does not exist. Terrible store if you are of different nationality and/or just look different. I stopped by after work where I frequent Banks and dont look disheveled or unruly. Yet I was looked upon like I am from another planet.

It’s a fun place shopping if your of the cowboy/cowgirl type. I took a shirt back and they wouldn’t give me the full price that we paid for it. Then looking for another shirt more than 20% of the shirts where not on the right size hanger or in the right area on the rack, scattered at best.

Very understaffed, the water for the baby chicks was dirty, and there were chicks with pasty vents (basically a death sentence within a few days) that needed to be washed. Please, please, please hire more staff or ask for volunteers to clean the chicks.

Rose, the assistant manager, helped me with my fishing rod. I have a movement disorder and can’t always tie knots very well so she immediately jumped in to help me get my fishing pole 100% set up. She was so kind and helpful, I’ll be coming here from now on!

I am very disappointed in you guys. I used to work at this store and was a head cashier. I quit for a higher paying job. But last 3 times i have gone in linda, the assistant manager has been extremely rude and disrespectful. I didnt egg her on or was rude in anyway, i was just making casual conversation. I was saying how they have a bigger staff than normal tonight and she went off on me saying you dont work here anymore and just stop... ect. I have been avoiding going in to this store for exactly this reason. Everytime i go in someone is always rude to me. I know the store manager jeff is great and the regional manager jay is awesome and always nice. But unfortunately i have to leave this review becuase of the consistency it has been happening. Has a wide variety of everything. Its my go-to place for bolts,screws and misc parts that you may not find anywhere else. They specialize in farm accessories so have a lot of odds and ends. They also have a great selection of power tools, gas tools, guns clothes...In the spring they have baby chicks which are fun to look at. Really if its something that you would use on a farm its probably here.

This place has it all. We were welcome upon entering with warm greetings. We came to have a puppy vaccinated, through their program they offer here. Wonderful experience. Wonderful store. So much to offer. Ill be back.

This is a fine option to obtain you gardening, ranching, and/or outdoor implements. There is a significant amount of selection here. The prices typically seem to be competitive. Once in a while you may want to compare against other locations. I like the employees here and they typically serve well. The location is convenient. Plenty of parking and egress is usually not a concern.

Cal Ranch is not only a place to go for your k be stock and outdoor needs but it is also a fun chill relaxed atmosphere. Their gun selection is not bad either..MERICA. if you need boots, hats or chaps Cal Ranch has it. The customer service is always great and I have always had a great experience at this location. Highly recommended.

Great place. Im in the process of restoring my fathers 57 Massey Harris tractor and every bolt I bring here they have plenty to choose from. Great welding gear here too it has never burned up or been burned through from welding. All the staff is very helpful and kind. Highly suggest going here for nuts, bolts and welding gear.

We went to look at Chaps for our son, and to get my husband a new hat for work. While there we noticed a long line of pets and their owners lined up for the pets shots. My son loved seeing the dogs and cats, and several of the owners let him pet their animals. He also liked the baby chickens. Of course, only the most expensive pair of chaps fit my little guy, but they had several pairs to try.

I have purchased some of the best white elephant gifts from this store. Salt licks. Castration tools. Pig ears. It’s made for some great experiences. You’re a great gift to our community, Mr. Cal Ranch.

Great place to get your outdoor gear, hunting supplies and guns, and food for your farm animals.The gun desk associates are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.Im not too impressed with the chicks they have. A lot of them seem to not being taken care of. I go to IFA to get me chicks. The cages are dirty the chicks dont look healthy. Very sad!Its hard to find someone to help you unless you want to go to the front to have them call someone then all the way back to where you needed help in the first place.

Love CAL Ranch! American Fork is definitely my preferred location. They are always so nice! It could be organized a little better, but it gets the job done either way!

You can find pretty much EVERYTHING there from food, clothing, to horse supplies & even camping supplies! When I happened to be there they were having an awesome 30% to 90% off on there clothing & boots so I bought some cute girl stuff for myself 😉 The Husband went looking at the RV supplies & Cast Iron pots & pan sets that they had then while I was checking out let me know I missed seeing all of the new baby Chicks! 🐤🐥 He said they were awesome! Go ahead & check them out, you wont regret it!

Could not be more satisfied with our experience! I dont think i have posted a Google review before, but i wanted to let them know how good of job they are doing. Going above and beyond. We will definitely be a lifelong customers as long as service and management continues to exceed expectations.

Mandy is a total rockstar and helped me well above and beyond the call. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me carry a bunch of heavy hardware and stuff because I stupidly forgot a cart. I had to go back 2 more times that day and she kept being an absolute jewel. Give her a raise. CAL ranch is by far my first choice for hardware and farm stuff because of people like her.

Google maps keeps taking me to the back of stores, I think it is trying to get me mugged. Cal ranch is a good store though. I went to Walmart, Lowes, and Home Depot and couldnt find a decent pitch fork. Tried Calling Ranch and they had a better one at a lower price. Its a pretty decent hardware store as well. They have a good selection of root beers and other soda.

Wanted to buy a horse shoe. All the horse shoes were labeled $4.99, cashier asked what kind of shoe it was and how much it was. I told her I didnt know the specifics of it, but they were all labeled as $4.99. She then rang up a shoe from her book for $5.99 plus tax. I told her that was wrong and then had to wait for a manager to come over to charge me the right amount. They gave me my receipt after purchasing it, but I had to ask them to hand me the shoe I just bought as they had taken it to examine and try to determine specifics.Long story short: poor customer service.

Cal Ranch in American Fork Utah is a great place to shop. The employees are nice and if you need help, they are willing. There are always clearamce racks and overall prices are good. I recommend this store

This is usually a fantastic store; unfortunately, Joanna at the check out was extremely unpleasant. You’d of thought I’d asked for a complex algebraic expression to be explained and written out when I decided against an item. Grumpy, quick, and demanding of items to be put up faster. I’m a pretty laid back, happy going and easy going usually, however, crappy days does not mean it’s ok to be a grumpy cat with customers. I hope this isn’t the norm and will update this review if I run in to her again. The last time I was in someone named Ty or Tyler was a stud. Very helpful and went out of his way to help out with any questions. I’ll continue shopping here but maybe this will be a wake up to Joanna. Hope your day goes better and this was just an off day. Thanks.

Great customer service! Even told me about a 20% coupon in the mail I missed and one of the employees gave me their person coupon to use for my purchase! Very knowledgeable in all departments, but specifically in gun department and footwear.

Helpful staff, good products. Surprisingly more stuff than I would expect them to have. I find myself checking here if I cant find it at the hardware stores. They dont always have what Im looking for but they often do.

I broke a cheep tap I got at the plumbing store -- went to CAL for the replacement. They had a better tool which included the impossible to find letter size drill bit needed to match it perfectly. Finished my job that morning.

The worst experience ever, Im from Texas and was purchasing a long gun they had on sale, I spent 30 minutes while back ground check was done, salesman was knowledgeable and very polite, background checked out fine and clerk called for a manager override thats when things changed, the manager on duty literally started yelling NO we cant sell that gun to someone who is not from a neighboring state. The salesman said everything checked out and thats when manager started yelling at him. I definitely understand why they dont have stores in Texas, that king of management would get the doors shut pretty quick. I wasted about an hour in that store only to get yelled at by a manager. Bad news though there were about 10 people with me from here that wont be back

We went in looking for fencing supplies and while the hubby was looking I was able to find some awesome gifts for my grandchildren there. And all of it on sale! I was impressed!

I went in to buy work boots. There were only 4 styles of slip on (cowboy) boots in a normal size (8-10.5) mens. If your a 13 or 14 there is plenty for you.This is by far the worst selection of boots I have seen in the entire county!

Ive been in a few CAL Ranch stores many times. Ive never seen one like this. It looks like a tornado destroyed the store. Everything is a mess. If I hadnt been in other stores of theirs before, I would never go back to any of them. If all their stores were like this, they would go out of business for sure. What a disaster.

I love Cal Ranch. I bought a hitch and ball at Walmart and then on my way home thought I would compare the price at Cal Ranch and their prices were cheaper than Walmart for a better hutch and ball! Needless to say I went back to Walmart for a return. The chicks were cute too! Made me want to start raising some hens.

Such a big shame I went to buy some clothing for winter and was willing to spend big, but there still trying to remove stock from 2-3 years ago there inventory system is a joke Im the most average person 5:10, 175 lbs nothing fit they are all inhuman sizes 5xl ect. No one buys that they never order anything new theres no mediums no smalls just 5xl and higher this is the last time I try to buy something here just order online because they cant get anything new in.
