Great friendly service!

I would never reccomend this shop. They charged me near 500 dollars for new tires less than 2 months ago and the back tire was used to the point I have wires showing. Before this incident they ended up breaking my front cowl on my Ninja 300 2013 and argued about who was at fault until I made a call to insurance to dispute the damage they caused. What makes it worse is their inability to be honest and provide solid work. They broke multiple bolts and nuts from areas on my motorcycle they didnt need to get to. Like my chain guard? Bolts were broken. My kick stand bolt? Replaced. Really wish they were better but Ive had it with Duff Shelleys.

Took in a Stihl Pro weedeater I havent run for 2 years. Great service and only took a week. Replaced primer bulb, spark plug, air filter and a couple of grommets to prevent the fuel lines from leaking. Greased the gears, too. $100. Great deal. Highly recommend these guys! Duffs is always great. From basic services of power equipment to the big stuff, side by sides and cycles, they always delivers.Theres a reason theyve been around forever and its due to their customer service.

My cousins have been using Duff Shelley to help with motorbike parts for years and recommended them to me. For ordering parts they were helpful as many reviews have shown. But then when I had them work on my bike, I have been extremely disappointed as I was exposed to a new side of this company.I needed help getting my new chain put on and adjusted properly on my motorcycle. I rode the bike to the store and left it there to be worked on. I came back to pick up the bike when they called. After paying, I went and got on my motorcycle and tried to turn it on. It wouldnt run. It immediately died after taking the choke off. A mechanic eventually came over after I asked for help, and suggested I use the choke and then kick it into first gear. As I tried to do so, the gears wouldnt move.As he looked closer at the recently worked on chain and adjoining parts, the mechanic said, oh wow (a more appropriate word then the one used) this was totally put on wrong. Im shocked that (used the mechanics name who had replaced my chain) put this on like that. Thats really bad.To make a long story short, after keeping the bike there another day and returning to the store another time, they were able to fix the mistake on the chain and clutch and still charged me the full price of the service.What about the fact that the bike suddenly no longer would run? Well I was told that theres no way that the work we did would have any effect on whats happening with the bike. I was then quoted an additional $300 to do the work to get it running correctly.Now I know that what they did with the chain isnt directly linked to the other parts of the engine or carb. But when you go into a shop to get work done on your bike that you DROVE TO THE STORE and then after the store works on it, it no longer runs... not to mention the fact that the part they were suppose to fix doesnt work... and one of their other employees looking at it says it was put on wrong and thats really bad.... and then to have no help or willingness to be able to solve the problem without at least additional hundreds of dollars being paid... has to have you feel bothered by the company you had trusted to help you.Well it certainly had this customer very disappointed and frustrated as he pushed his no longer working motorcycle down the road to a cousins house to sit until he can either figure out the problem himself or find another store who will be able to help.To all, be aware of what might happen when having work done at this store.-The thoughts of a boy while pushing his not working motorcycle down the streets.

Dave and the entire staff is awesome! Went in 15 minutes to closing time to see if they had a Rzr I was looking for in stock. They were pretty busy so we went and walked the lot and didnt see it. A mechanic I believe walked up to us and asked if weve been helped, we told him no we were just looking for a particular Rzr that I wanted to see in person. He said let me see if Dave is available and Ill send him out. Well the place was about to close and we were just going to leave to not be rude and keep them there any longer. Dave walked up to us and asked if we had any questions. Told him what we were looking for and didnt see it outside. He said I believe I have one come have a seat, we asked are you sure we know you guys are trying to leave. He said dont worry about it come have a seat and see what we can find. His customer service and his friendly personality is what sold us and we made a purchase even though its almost an hour drive and and 3 other Polaris dealers between him and our house. My father in law recommended this place and thats why we made the drive, glad we did. Thanks Dave!

Was riding through Utah and stumbled upon this wonderful little shop! Tom helped me out— I needed a tire front tire replaced for the ride back to Vegas. I grabbed a tire that I wanted from down the street and brought it to them, and they cranked out the work super quickly! Totally recommend this place for sure! Thanks guys!!

Everyone at Duff Shelly are amazing. They have worked with me through two motorcycles and repairs. No matter what has been going on, including financial issues when in need of repairs, they have helped find a way to make it work.I have recently been to another place and the experience was nothing like what I get here at duffs.They have my business as long as Im in Utah.I walk in feeling welcome, and leave satisfied everytime.

Dave has always treated me like family even when I was a 18 year old kid trying to buy my first bullet bike 17 years ago. He has always been honest and straightforward with me and all my friends. I never have to hagle on price with him knowing he is being fair and giving me the the best price in town. This shop is not one of those huge dealership where you are just a number. If you want to go to a family owned shop that does great honest work go here.

They are very knowledgeable, and do good work. But they might need some classes in customer relations. Almost every time I give them a call, they come across as very cocky, and often I have found that it is easier for them to take the pure OEM route having you buy a whole set of parts that you dont really need, when what you really need is just a repair kit. Unfortunately their customer handling has made my wife and I try to only go to them as a last resort.Since they always have done so good work on our machines earlier, it is sad that the companys first impression (the people picking up the phone) is making me think poorly about the company as a whole...

Below acceptable service—I’ve been there many times and there’s always this begrudging attitude to help, whether it’s a simple or more complex question/request. It’s like asking a teenager to do chores. Want to like them because they’re a hometown shop, but it’s worth it to me to drive an extra half hour to get better service elsewhere.

Honestly amazed by the poor reviews Ive been going here for years. Mostly to get tires put rims on my bikes. Ive always had honest customer service thats been friendly with people that are knowledgeable. The only place Ive gone to in the valley that has my tires done when they say they will be. Also do a good job at balancing. Cant complain one bit!

You can’t go wrong with Duff Shelley. My first experience with Duff’s was back in 1989 with a Ninja...fast forward almost 30 years and I have purchased a motorcycle and a number of lawn mowers, weed eaters and snow blowers from them. We get those items serviced there almost every year and they still treat us like family.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Went in with 2 of my children two years ago and spent approximately with tax $87 on a riding lawn mower battery to put in on my Grandfathers riding lawn mower who passed away. As soon as we put it in started having problems with the riding lawn mower. It would just quit and die. I would charge it thinking it was the lawn mower. After 6 months to a year of it not working and every time we had to push the riding lawn mower back in the garage (very heavy) I called them again and said it might by your alternator. So for another season it started up having problems again not even thinking they might of sold us a bad battery.Finally after a year and a half of nothing but problems I called them again and the owner said bring it in and we will test the battery. I drove it down and waited 3 days for the testing to be completed. (They never called me about it.) I drove down there and the owner said he sold us a bad battery! I said could you replace it free with another one.? He firmly said no chastising me for not bringing it in before the warranty expired!!I told him thats because they kept telling me it was the lawnmower! Now I am out $87 with a riding lawn mower that does not work in my garage and I have to go get another battery! Trust me it will not be here.

REMARKABLY & SURPRISINGLY LOUSY APPROACH TO BUSINESS! It started last November when I called them about getting a Stihl Chainsaw repaired. I was absolutely shocked when the person I was talking to on the phone told me to wait a month or even 6 weeks...then we MIGHT be able to get to it. It was the end of the season and I didnt need the chainsaw until spring anyway, but they didnt want to be bothered with it. Oh, and you should note that they will only fix power tools that they sell. I hadnt gotten three steps into the shop before the Duff Shelley brainiac behind the desk started asking me to leave: We dont fix those! When I asked them why this was the case...We cant get parts...and were just too busy to bother with them was the excuse given by the lazy idiot dealing with me in person!! I immediately called the company who manufactured the power garden tool in question and asked them about parts. We sell replacement parts to everyone, including independent repair shops was their response.Its apparent these guys dont really want to be in business and I certainly intend to help them by finding other more proactive, upbeat and reputable repair/retail options. A quick note on that. Home Depot offers repairs through their Tool Rental department.

I was looking to surprise my husband with a four wheeler for his birthday. I had called a few places before calling Duff Shelley and they all seemed to tell me what I wanted to hear and didnt really care if I got any discounts because they knew I would buy a four wheeler regardless. I was looking for a Polaris and ended up finding Duffs through the Polaris website as an authorized dealer. I called and talked to Shane about two months before I actually bought the machine. I let him know about my situation and he was always willing to help answer any of my questions. I had called a dealer previous to calling Duffs and they said they wouldnt really talk to me over the phone about pricing because they knew if I came in to see them that they had a better chance of selling me a four wheeler. I didnt like that with my busy schedule that I would have to go in just to ask questions. When I talked to Shane he was always happy to help and understood that I had crazy work hours and would help me understand the process over the phone.This was our first four wheeler and I was pretty nervous because I didnt really know what I was doing. They didnt have the exact four wheeler in stock that I wanted so Shane looked through many dealerships to find exactly what I wanted and helped me get a good price on it. We ended up buying a 2016 Polaris Sportsman 570 with EPS. We absolutely love it! I told Shane I would like to do the oil changes ourselves and he said he would be happy to show me how to do it, and now I feel confident that I can. Shane was always available and on the day I was coming to purchase the machine I came a few hours earlier than I told him I would be and he was at lunch. Dave was very friendly and said he would let Shane know I had come early. Shane showed up within 10 minutes and didnt mind that I had interrupted his lunch break. Dave helped me with all my questions I had and was very knowledgeable and helpful.Being a female, there were many places that tried to make a quick buck and didnt think I would understand how the machines worked. I felt like when I walked into Duffs that I was being treated like family and that they had my best interest in mind. I would go back to Duff Shelleys any day and they will forever have my business. Shane even showed me how to load the four wheeler and strap everything down tight! Everyone there was always helpful and wanted me to make the best decision for my situation.

After a year of owning a Honda CRF 250L Rally (my first bike) that I bought locally from Monarch Honda in Orem, I felt it was time to upgrade.I checked out a few different dealerships before finding Duff and Shelley. One thing I liked right away is being able to meet the owners. Also, it turns out that Kawasakis are pretty awesome.The sales process was easy and felt genuine. They let me test ride a couple different bikes and I ended up riding out of there on a new Kawasaki Z650.What most impressed me about this dealer was how they handled a big mistake. When I took my bike in for its first service, whoever worked on it forgot to securely tighten the oil valve after changing the oil. During a subsequent ride the oil began spilling out onto the street.Sometimes mistakes just happen, but when I called the dealership one of the owners himself promptly drove to Provo, picked up my bike, they fixed it, and returned it to me that very same day.This is a dealership you can trust. They’re honest in their sales, responsive, and will promptly make things right. Overall, Duff and Shelley has a history of good service and expertise in the industry and something like this is very unlikely to happen with them, however, if I ever run into any issues, I know they’re easy to work with.If you’re thinking about checking them out I definitely recommend stopping by.

NOT TOO PLEASED :(. I dropped a machine off for repairs, and it took them several WEEKS before they even looked at it due to having other small projects and services to be done on other machines. They do not seem to really operate on any kind of schedule and just do things as they see fit. I could potentially be spending thousands of dollars at their shop. I understand being busy, but come on..I may just take my business elsewhere next time.

I was sent here to pick up a mower part for my brother-in-law in Idaho. First impressions were that the place hasnt been updated for a while. I arrived at the end of the day when people are typically wrapping things up to go home for the day, which can be an inconvenient time for problem solving. I needed to pick up a different part than was previously arranged. They were so professional and so helpful. I really appreciated their willingness to go out of their way to resolve the problem. I would definitely recommend them tho others.

I took my RZR 1000 in to get the oil changed and it took almost a month and they never called when it was done. I had to go in and see if it was done. Once I got it the power steering no longer worked and the check engine light was on also. I called them and they said to bring it in and they would take a look at it real quick. I brought it in and it has been over a week and they still have not looked at it. I called them this morning and they said that if I call in a couple of days they will see when they can put me on their schedule but that it will probably take another 3 weeks before they can take a look at it. That will be close to two months to get the oil changed. I would expect that if you screwed someones machine up that you would at least try and make it right and take a look at it immediately and not put them off for another month!! This is the first review I have ever written but felt I needed to since this has been the worst service I have ever had!!!

I looked at Moto U while in St George and they couldnt even make time to talk to me, I looked at Moto U in Draper - just to look around, they have a nice huge showroom, and their prices prove it. If you want people who actually get out and ride in their product to help guide you thru the purchase process then you need to stop by Duff Shelleys.I thought they only sold mowers for years.... They have common parts for my bike when I need them, though the service desk feels ... Off-putting. Otherwise, helpful and gets what I need or options to get it.

Very poor service and communication. Place is pretty dumpy when you walk in. I was looking at new snowmobiles and they were much higher than other dealers not to far away. If you want a better buying experience or service make the drive to moto united in draper or karl malone in heber. Its worth the short drive. Even tho duffs is a matter of minutes from my house I will be making the drive to other dealers as I feel they are much more professional.

Had to order a clutch cable along with a couple other things and the service was great as well as the timely matter in which my parts arrived

In 2016 I surprised my husband with a four wheeler. Shane was very helpful and made sure that I was taken care of. In June of 2017 my husband and I decided to upgrade our four wheeler to a brand new Kawasaki Teryx four seater. The process was very quick and easy for the trade in and they were happy to show us a lot of different machines to make sure we found the right one. We bought the four seater so that family could ride with us as we are a married couple with no children and didnt need the extra seats other than for when friends or family came. I told my parents about Duff Shelleys and they knew that based off of the great experiences I had that they wanted to go and look at what they had. They purchased a four wheeler and a 2018 Polaris 1000 four seater ride command edition. After they purchased their machine my husband and I knew that we needed a new toy! We traded in our 2017 Kawasaki Teryx 4 for a 2018 Polaris 1000 xp two seater. We love going to Duff Shelley!!! They are so easy to work with every time and make sure that we get all of our questions answered. Shane and Dave are helpful, respectful, and quick and fun. We went in on a Saturday and they were able to put our accessories on the new one and have it ready for us on Monday. We have been very happy with the three machines we have bought from them. I tell everyone I know to go to Duffs because there really just isnt any other place that I have been that treats you that good. My husband and I will be customers for life. Hands down best experience Ive ever had! Tom is probably the smartest man when it comes to dirtbikes and parts. Hes not a rip off or just trying to get the job done the quick easy way like motofrugals they quoted me 550 bucks to fix one side of my shock I called duffs Tom had me fixed and ready to rock 3 days later for 50 bucks for both sides getting fixed not just 1! My pitster pro broke I searched everywhere for bearings including on Line and in China for hours and hours and hours.. I called tom thinking this bike was as good as trash.. he said just go to my buddy in Linden he has everything! I love this place I officially will never go anywhere else!

They have Walker mowers, Honda Mowers, Toro, super awesome BCS roto-tillers, full line of Stihl power products, and much more. Plus they have all the trimmings for their equipment. Oils, trimmer line, mower blades, and tons of parts, helmets, gloves and other riding gear. Trustworthy dependable machines at fair prices. Service is great, but make sure to schedule. They are always busy but the service is worth it. They actually really care about what you are doing and make sure you get the right machines. Great selection. Great family!

My husband has been a costumer there to pick up parts or batteries and every time he went he always felt pushed around and feels parts are over priced. So i went with him one day and i could see what he meant. it took a 30 minutes for them to even say hello and start helping him and when he was finally helped they just told him they didnt have the part, it was kind of annoying. also they make you prepay for the part saying they will call you when they have it shipped in but they never call. overall overpriced and poor service

Took my Polaris RZR to Duff Shelley to have the recall done. I talked with every dealer in SLC county with only one request and that was you must park the RZR inside over night. They were the only shop that would agree to it. They were awesome to work with and did a great job. Definitely worth the drive past the other 2 dealers on my way there from SLC.
