I love their receptionist! Right away she told me how far out they are booked.and told me how my LG warranty is extended past one year for the “no-cool” problem with my fridge, so that I may be able to get a service tech faster by calling LG directly.I will call Utah Appliance tech again when I need help!

My experience was prompt 5 star. He was prompt to arrive to schedule, providing a block of time to arrive in. He is knowledgeable of the products, even old appliances like mine. Another of important asset he has, is he is very thorough, catching some future problem without breaking the bank. His efforts are a real bargain.

If I ever need help with my appliances again, there is no question, I will have these guys handle it! Josh, the tech, was here when they said he would be and he was in and out in about 30 mins give or take. They had the heating element part that was needed for my Maytag dryer. They didnt charge a ridiculous price like some others do. Straight forward, honest, professional and efficient! I will recommend you to anyone and everyone that needs appliance repair! Thanks!

Ridiculously expensive. $460 for 1 hour and 4 minutes of labor from door knock to completion.We had a refrigerator compressor die, the warranty covered the compressor but not labor. I asked the tech why it was so expensive and he told me that it can sometimes take longer and they charge a flat rate, also that they have to go to a school to learn how to do compressors, and that there is gas costs (transportation). I dont think I have ever paid this much for anything. He said it is competitive in the industry.For reference the average hourly rate for surgeon in the US is $189 per hour and after some google searches it seems the average rate is about $100 to $200 per hour for fridge repair guys.This is unconscionable at its best. I am disgusted with you.

I purchased a used fridge for cheap on KSL and it went out a few days later. The symptoms indicated the compressor may be bad, and every appliance repair store offered me the same advice: buy a new fridge.Utah Appliance Repair is the only place that offered to have a tech call me back, and then also assist me in diagnosing the issue over the phone.They have earned a customer for life with me.

I tried a couple of other service providers before stumbling upon this gem. The service we received was exceptional, from the initial call, to the appointment setup, and right through service. The tech took the time to properly diagnose and fix the issues with our French door Frigidaire that had been plaguing us for months. All for a very reasonable price. The service was really quick and I was actually amazed. I called around to a few other companies when my fridge went out and no one was able to come for 2-3 weeks. Utah Appliance Tech had someone out to look at my fridge the next day and replaced the part just a day or two later. My fridge works great now and I am very pleased. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had an amazing experience with them and I highly recommend them.

I could not believe how quickly he had our dryer pulled apart and had diagnosed our problem. The repair was quick and our dryer is running like a top. This was my first experience with Utah Appliance Tech and very happy with their service and prices. Techs (Jared and Brad) were punctual, friendly, and professional. Although we had to wait for about a week for the part to come in, Jared came within a couple of days to install it. Then, when we needed another part I wasnt charged for labor. I will call them again in the future. (They serviced my LG washer)

The part was supposed to take 3 days to get in, but instead of waiting he made a special trip to get the part and I was up and running in no time. Excellent service at an unbeatable price! We have had a wonderful experience working with this company this week. They were chosen by our home warranty company, but I would use them again in a heartbeat! They contacted me promptly and were very understanding of our busy schedule. Our refrigerator went out Saturday night and they did everything they could to get it working for us again quickly. They made an early morning visit one day, and then worked after hours tonight after the parts we needed had arrived. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend them.We worked with a different company (also chosen by our home warranty company) a few months ago to fix our microwave and they were awful. They were hard to get in touch with and took forever to help us. It took more than 6 weeks to finish the job. This experience has been a night and day difference.

Id like to give them a good review. Their tech is a nice guy and the lady in the office seems nice enough but after dealing with them for a year (no joke) and them not fixing my fridge Im left feeling really frustrated. The first time they came my fridge had stopped cooling and was leaking. He supposedly fixed it and it worked for about a month and started leaking again. This time I requested another company through my home warranty to come out since they abviously didnt fix the leak the first time. The leak was fixed by the other company. In August my compressor went out. It was replaced. Heres where most of my frustration comes in. Around Thanksgiving my fridge stops cooling AGAIN! He comes does something to it. A week later it stops cooling again. A week later he comes to my house works on it and 5 days later it stops cooling AGAIN. It takes another week for them to come back. At this point it never cools again but he just keeps guessing and replaces parts etc. Fast forward to February. It never ran again. Im still without a fridge today waiting for the insurance company to send me a reduced check (because of all the useless parts he guessed would work but didnt). So Im still without a fridge and will be sent a check with not enough money on it to replace the fridge because they deducted the amount for the parts that didnt need to be replaced in the first place. A couple of suggestions:1.Have someone in the office answering phones so when the warranty companies (or customers) need to get ahold of you they can.2. Make some space in your schedule for recalls. If you didnt fix it right the first time people shouldnt have to wait another week for you to come out and look at it again just to wait another week for you to order the part.3. Dont replace something unless you have proof its broken. (It got to the point that it was just a guessing game and even though I have a home warranty Ill come out of my pocket in the end.) I have hundreds of dollars of brand new parts sitting on my fridge that never even got used.

Our Technician, Brad, was awesome!Our compressor went out Saturday during the day sometime, we got home and discovered that 60% of our frozen food had melted (Goodbye Ice Cream). Brad made an after hours trip over at our request, fixed it in less than 20 minutes, and was extremely professional.Im very impressed with the speed in which the repair was done. Our apartment management company selected Utah Appliance Tech, but in the future if I need service done on my personal appliances. They will be the first people I call.5 Stars and every single one is deserved.

Had them come fix my ice maker, and then it started leaking. I was told it sounded like that would be a whole other issue, and they would charge me 75$ for checking it out if it was.If you dont want to keep paying for a job that should be done, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Its not ever convenient to have a refrigerator stop working! These guys exceeded our expectations in the repair they performed. They were able to diagnose our problem sooner than anyone else could. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but when an appliance company fails twice to fix my washing machine, and then tells my wife to essentially go away, it kind of ticks me off.Poor marks for this business on both technical skill and customer service. I will not seek their services again.

Exceeded ALL expectations...Refrigerator was not cooling. Compressor was the diagnosed culprit. Brad came out to install and concluded that it was NOT the compressor but a possible leak in the tubing. He was unable to locate the leak after taking 2-3 hours to thoroughly check everything possible. He refused to charge us anything even though there had been two service visits and several hours of work. Beyond honest and empathetic to our dilemma. They have a satisfied and loyal customer for life!!!

Fist time they came out their was a misunderstanding. However Brad took care of the situation and came out earlier then Wednesday and had the part in within minutes. He looked the washer over after installing the part, test ran it and BAM it was done. Would recommend Utah Appliance Tech. to others. I had a range that was not working had another company, Quality Appliance, come to diagnose the problem, but wanted to buy the part and fix it myself. The technician with Quality was really annoyed with me not having him fix it and wouldnt give me the part number, and it turned out he didnt diagnose it correctly and refused to come back out since I didnt pay him. Utah Appliance Tech was super friendly, showed me how to do the fix myself and happily gave me the part number so I could make sure I got the right one. He also told me if the part didnt fix he would come back out. I couldnt be happier with the service I got, and am just frustrated that I wasted my money on another company first.

Wasnt so pleased with my service. Not really one to complain. But when I pay for a complete diag and pay for the complete install and part. Still left with a broken Microwave. Never argued with the prices. Paid 187 to find out that the whole microwave was broken. Wish it was further diagnosed at the start and just paid the 75 diagnosis and bought a new one. Doesnt seem like this company would stand behind their word when we agreed to 187 would leave me with a fixed microwave. Pay one diag fee and get the part number from them. Good hook and sinker.

We had a problem with our fridge. Jared came out and fixed the main problem by putting new gaskets on the doors. We kept having a few issues and they came back until everything was working perfectly. As a bonus, Jared fixed our washer! Great people to work with!

Great experience! Brad was able to come out the same day to fix my dryer. He was patient with the mess I made of it, trying to fix it myself, as well as the sticker for my model number being missing. There was a part that was needed that I was worried wouldnt be found and would have to replace the whole motor, but Brad was able to find it, pick it up the same day and finish the repair! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Couldnt have done it without you! Believe me, I tried!

When my LG fridge had an error code, I called another appliance company that had really good reviews - but he said he didnt even need to come out and look at the fridge when I told him the error code, and what I found online about it. But then he said they dont really do LGs, but to text him the model number and my name and number, and hed look into parts. I never heard back from him.I looked on LGs website for a suggestion on who to call. Two companies had average reviews and this one had no reviews, so I chanced it. I told him the same things I told the other appliance company, and he said he should still come out to look at the error code because it could be one of three things. So he was able to come out later that same day. He diagnosed the problem, then got me a total on the part that he needed to order. I didnt pay anything that day, but when he came back two days later with the part (and was very understanding when I was running late) and installed it, I paid easily for the part and the previous days visit. He was really good at answering all of my questions.I had a really good experience with him. He is friendly and did a very good job. I would recommend him and his services. Thank you!!

I cant say enough about this honest, family-run company. I self-cleaned my oven 5 days days before Christmas and it burned out the thermostat. I was in a panic with company coming and no working stove, nor burners. Brad, our technician, bent over backwards to help me and with an over-nighted part, I had a working stove before Christmas. I called several other companies and Utah Appliance Tech was extremely reasonable by comparison. This will be my go-to company in the future. Thanks so much!

Our LG washer of 7 years stopped working, I called LG to troubleshoot and we realized we would need service. LG gave me 3 companies to call. We called all 3 and the others seemed to stack all these fees but Brad Kitchen gave us a flat fee over the phone before even looking at our washer based on what LG suspected was wrong. Brad was to our house and fixing our washer within an hour of calling him, he even had the part needed on his truck, no waiting around for a tech or waiting for parts to be ordered! This means the world for a busy family who needs clean clothes, lol! Brad knew exactly what was wrong and even did extra things just out of pride for what he does. You can tell he cares and is super knowledgeable. He was done fast, leaving us in great shape, washing clothes 24 hours after our washer broke. I would highly recommend him based on efficency, knowledge, and price. We are excited to know we have someone reliable and honest to call for our future aplliance needs. Thanks Brad!

Worst customer service I have ever seen!!!! Landmark Home Warrenty sent this company out and it has been nothing but a joke. Their tech Brandon came to my home and made my microwave and dishwasher worse than before he came. He left my microwave off completely and it didnt heat at all after he got done with it and then my dishwasher started leaking after he worked on it, then told the Warrenty company the problems it was having are pre-existing conditions!!!!! I just moved in how can it be pre-existing? He also told my husband that he gets in a lot of trouble when claims are not completed within 5 days, well then if thats the case then why has my claim been unresolved for now 2 months!!!!!! Also my husband rearranged his schedule for 2 days waiting for him and he ended up having to call him to find out where the heck he was at since apparently he didnt have the respect to contact him when he purposely got my husband contact Information to let him know what was going on. We have also tried contacting their main office and still to this day have never heard back from anyone. Thanks so much Utah Appliance Tech for your speedy fast and great customer service skills you have given us!!!
