Great prices on firewood. However, they are terrible at keeping to their open hours. You show up at 3 pm and its closed despite their posted hours being 4 pm.

Excellent prices on cut wood. The wood is always well seasoned and the guys in the yard are friendly, fast and helpful. The business is family owned and has been around for a long, long time. I always enjoy seeing Evelyn in the office, shes kind and super helpful too! I drive out there to American Canyon from Berkeley and pick the wood up myself because its well worth the drive. Go check em out!

Great staff always friendly answer any questions you have in person or over the phone. Prices might be a little higher then some but there wood is seasoned good. Bought from others and their wood needed a roofing torch to start not seasoned at all. They put the work in to make sure youre getting good fire wood. 185 half cord for a mix 80/20 hard & soft is a fair price. They also offer help stacking.

One phone call is all it took. I inquired about the type of firewood available, quantity, price and delivery options. Very reasonable prices and my firewood was delivered the next day right onto my driveway. Payment options were credit/debit card over the phone at the time of ordering or cash or check given to the delivery driver. This couldn’t have been any easier. I bought the 1/2 cord of mixed wood (80 % hardwood, 20 % soft wood) to burn in our fire place. Will order from Hurst Firewood again when I run out.

We use a mix of firewood for his bbq and husband is very happy with the wood from here.

I work at the local High school and we requested some wood chip for the community garden. Hurst did not hesitate to donate two truckloads for our use. I find them professional, timely and totally supportive of this community. I would recommend them for any wood needs you have.

Just bought 1/2 cord from Hurst. Since the pile looked a little small, I measured it after stacking it into a nice cube. Result: .6 cords.No complaints; just a few larger pieces than I would like, but its all good.

I hired Bruce Hurst to cut down 5 large eucalyptus on my property. His bid was the same as another outfits, but Bruce and his crew got the job done in three days instead of the 5 the other crew was going to take. Bruce is amazing to watch when he cuts trees, as he has been doing it since he was 15. Everyone on his crew was friendly and professional, and Bruce is just a wonderful guy. I could not recommend him more highly.

Called Bruce out of the blue about a problem I have been having for months. I ended up getting him on his cell after hours and he heard me out and told me to call the office and leave a message. Just the fact that he is willing to try with my difficult situation everybody else said no to makes this outfit a 5 star operation in my book.

Super friendly staff. Even offered some apple slices to my girlfriends son. Easy location right off of highway 29. Careful in the parki g lot, there are some potholes. Aslo a good place if youre looking for wood tabletops and slabs.
