My whole family loves Pizza Planet. Their pizzas have a great amount of toppings!!! Not like some places where you get the bare minimum. And their salads are amazing, with home made ranch dressing. Ive enjoyed this place my whole life.

This place is just amazing. I actually forgot Pizza Planet was around until I moved close to it. I regret that. I ordered an all meat pizza from Pizza Planet. When I got it, I immediately ordered one from Dominos for comparison. Because I couldnt believe how much meat was on Pizza Planets pizza. It was just crazy! There is no comparison. I added mushrooms, jalapenos and olives. But otherwise thats how it comes to you always. Pizza Planet is top tier! Try them out. Salads, Subs, everything is great and delivery is fast.

We visited Pizza Planet on a whim while visiting the Amarillo area. They have a large menu and a lot of variety from appetizers to pizza. The location we visited had a few tables for dine-in but its set up for take-out and delivery. This location also has a drive through. We ordered the chicken barbeque pizza and it was excellent. The medium pizza was more than we could handle in one sitting (the left-overs where excellent, too). If you are in the area, you should give it a try.

P/U a chef salad for my daughter. Front wait staff was very friendly and had made the salad and had me on my way in less than 5 minutes.

Been going here since I was a kid to meet with my grandpa. Now its a place I take my fiance anytime we come to town or are passing through. The jalapeno popper pizza is the BEST

Friday night. Thought we might treat the family to dinner. An hour wait. Typical for Friday. 90 minutes later, I call to check status. No answer. It took 10 minutes of calling to get in touch with someone who could finally tell me they had no order from us. That’s funny, my bank says otherwise. Another 5 minutes on hold for a seemingly complacent manager who says they’re refunding money in 3-5 business days. We fully realize there are no guarantees in life, but this should be a relatively simple transaction. It’s unfortunate since this has been such a staple in our lives as an Amarillo institution.Bottom Line: if you’re seeking new levels of disappointment or just looking for some great new way to celebrate the lower spectrum of mediocrity, then this is the place. Will update should money not be returned. Thanks for wasting our time and holding our money. If you’re reading this, please proceed with caution.

My family has been to going to pizza planet for a number of years. Throughout that time, they have always commented to me that the food was really very good. The thing that stands out the most to me was they always loved the salad from pizza planet. Now I know that they have various types of pizza depending on the crust, cheese, sauce, and of course the toppings, but I couldnt understand what made the difference in the salads. My wife, and her friends raved about the salad. I thought, lettuce, cheese, meat, and tomatoes. Whats the big deal about that since pretty much any fast food place and convenience store has salads. Well, I finally picked up two family salads for a potluck dinner. I was given choices of homemade ranch, homemade blue cheese, honey mustard, thousand island, and Italian. I chose the homemade ranch and the homemade blue cheese to go with the two salads. Well, the party starts and most everyone was like you got salad from Pizza Planet, I love their salads. Finally I had my chance to have some of this infamous salad, and I have to say is this has to be the best salad I have eaten. I dont really know what sets it apart from any other salad. It could be that everything was fresh, the cheese and meat were great, and I should have gotten more of that homemade dressing.If you go to pizza planet, be sure to try the salad, and please let me know if you think it is as good as I did, and everyone else at our party.

I have loved this place since the early 70s. It was THE pizza hotspot. And now, I love it still. My favorite pizza continues to be the pan sausage & mushroom with extra ingredients. But there are other terrific choices. The chef salad is my favorite salad ANYWHERE. Its not fancy, its just THAT good. You should also try the dessert pizzas. Will you be as rabid as I am ? Who knows? All I can say is Pizza Planet is always a first choice for me.

Went to the other location first because it was closer, but left because we got no service. Came here and it was FAST. Girls were so nice and had a misunderstanding about wing flavors and they were so nice to offer us new wings. Great service. Food was fantastic and its a cute little place. I dont reccomend sitting by the drink cooler if youre dining in because people come up next to you to grab their drinks.

I made an order online for a large one topping pizza. When my wife and I went to pick it up, there was no pepperonis. We brought it in and told them it was supposed to be pepperoni, but it was actually me who messed it up the order when I was ordering online. They were very kind and made us a pepperoni pizza either way. They even let us take the mistake pizza with us. We had great customer service and they provided a great timely service as well. My wife and I definitely recommend this place!

I LOVE their salads. I frequently will get them for lunches at work, or for dinners. I have also tried their spaghetti and meatballs (delicious!). This is one of my go-to places.

Pizza Planet has the best chefs salad from anywhere in town. Their jalepeno popper pizza is also really unique and delicious!

We’ve been eating at Pizza Planet since waaaaay back, starting in the 1970’s!!!! What a great place! The food is awesome, truly an Amarillo Staple - but also just flat out, hands down some of the best pizza you will ever have!!!!

Out of all Pizza Planets in Amarillo this is the best place.However, last night they messed up my order. The lady at drive thru told me they were redoing the order and would bring it out to me in about 5 to 10 minutes. I waited nearly 20 minutes before I went in to get my order while the other pizzas got cold.This is the only bad experience I have had at this location.

Good pizza. Try the all-meat. And the salads and the lunch combo are really good - if fresh. Sometimes the pizza on the lunch combo has been sitting there a little too long.

Skimpy salads with hardly any meat and cheese last few times I have reluctantly went back. Used to eat there at least 3 times a week rearly go anymore. For 8.60 I just expected more than lettuce. Such a shame cuz I have loved it for years

We ordered pizza from here last night. 2 large pizzas for $33 and some change. They were the smallest large pizzas I have ever seen. They were small enough I went in (because I went through the drive up) and asked if they were really large. Next time ill pay for pizza somewhere else and get a true large pizza. Such a rip off.

Horrible experience. I will never buy food here or any pizza planet. The most unpleasant employee. Today is 9/28/18 I was there around 345 pm. The girl that was there by herself was very rude. I had requested cups as I am staying in a hotel. I made my purchase online. When I got to the store I was told they did not have cups. Ok well why sell two liter sodas and not have paper cups. I am staying in a hotel so I don’t have dishes. The girl had the audacity to ask if I was going home I said yes. She said don’t you have cups at home. No I’m staying in a hotel. She actually told me to go to the store and buy some or ask the hotel. How about NO. I bought the two liter for take out from you. I travel for a living and eat pizza weekly around the country. Never have I been told they don’t have cups but even that is ok. It was the way I was treated. After all was said and done she threw my pizza on the counter and walked away and wouldn’t even look at me. On top of that the pizza was requested well done and it is light and doughy. Subpar at best. Thank you but no Thank you. I will go elsewhere. Any where else at that.

The wings are good, but I paid 26.31 to get 24pc wings and tea delivered. I can buy a ribeye steak dinner at just about ANY steakhouse for that, and I definitely didnt get what I paid for. I wont be ordering again. Instead Ill pay much less and order from anywhere else.

You might want to add that single pizza slices cant be ordered on the weekend and you might want to tell your staff that if somebody orders single slices of pizza on the weekend to maybe call the person to see if they would like to oder a pizza or just add a sm pizza on to their order instead of cancelling the order. I was pretty pizzed when I got to the window to pick up my order that I waited 30 mins for to find out it had been canceled.

This restaurant provided the Room Service menu for the motel where I was staying in Amarillo. Overpriced, horrible food, no napkins, eating utensils, salt and pepper or the extra lemon that I had ordered for my iced tea. Even when I let them know how disappointed I was, they did nothing. Not a good experience.
