On Saturday I made a offer of $675 on a roping saddle that was originally priced at $899 U16CORRTRTRO12F. I received a email from Hanna whom accepted the offer. She stated when I was ready she would change the price in the system for me to purchase. I followed up with another email asking if they had any used steer wrestling saddles which she responded not at the moment. I sent her a response back that I wanted the roping saddle to change the price for me. I never received a response from Hanna until Monday morning saying she had changed it n was ready for purchase. When I went to purchase today 05/17/2021 at 2:45 pm the saddle was unavailable after I saw her email at that time. I then emailed her n no response. I then went to chat room on the cool horse site n it was Hanna. She confirmed the saddle sold n sold at my offer of $675! I was furious and disappointed because I had done all the communication and verbally agreed to the amount of $675....basically I did all the work for someone else to buy it from under me!That is poor poor customer service and BADBAD Business!!! I will not recommend Cool Horse to anyone and anytime I get the opportunity to share my experience and deter anyone from buying from Cool Horse I will do everything I can. It’s simply not right nor fair to any consumer! It’s just wrong! I will support other western supply stores in Texas not Cool Horse!

Great selection, clean, well organized store with LOTS of employees with better things to do than attend to customers or help each other out. I was only acknowledged by the cashier upon entering and was ignored the rest of my visit. Decided to leave when cashier asked another girl for help and was told to figure it out yourself. Was looking for a saddle stand, which I am sure they have somewhere in there, but I am also sure I can find it somewhere else.

I did not receive what was pictured or what I ordered. Unfortunately, my horse had ripped his other blanket too badly to leave on him and because of weather at time I simply had to use what was sent to me. I was disappointed (to say the least), but thankfully the one they sent was at least good quality and will work, but I ordered a heavyweight blanket with a full neck and received a medium weight blanket with half neck.In fairness to the company, I did not contact them yet because, as I said, I had to use it so returning it won’t work.

When we are anywhere close to Amarillo we make time to pop into Coolhorse. The staff are always friendly and helpful while never being pushy. We often try many saddles in the showroom prior to finding what we want. In fact this is the only place we have purchased saddles in many years. They accidentally sent me a different pad (thicker and more expensive than I ordered). After I pointed out the error, they immediately sent me the pad I ordered and included a sticker for returning the wrong pad at their expense. Service as it should be! Refreshing! Also, both pads are high quality and nice workmanship. Couldnt ask for anything more.

I placed an online order for a Smarty roping dummy. They are really big and have to be freight delivered. Even with the delay of getting a schedule set with Fedex, I received my order within a week. I ordered five lariats to use in my Texas History Ranching unit. Delivery was very quick and the lariats were exactly what was described. Although expensive for a teaching tool, when you have to pay for them yourself, they were still much cheaper than anywhere else I looked and I think probably a lot better quality.

I made an online order with an in store pick up. The website is easy to search and purchase what I was looking for. Customer service was excellent. My order wasn’t ready on Saturday morning after ordering the evening before, so I said I would swing by later in the week. I was surprised when you mailed my item and it showed up Tuesday. I searched for 50 pound dog feeders and found ones on Coolhorse for a decent price. When they arrived, they were only 25 pounds. When I contacted them about the discrepency, they are willing for me to return it but I have to pay return postage of 30.00 each making it cost as much as the item cost. I looked at the description and it did not say how many pounds it held. I guess I have learned my lesson with them. Will not shop here again.

Coolhorse is one of my most favorite places to shop for tack online. Recently I ordered two pairs of bell boots that were priced well below what I have seen elsewhere. By accident, I was sent the wrong boots. I contacted customer service through their “live chat” on their website.
