Chile verde burrito was good. Meat a little on the tough side. Overall I liked it but they really need to work on their customer service skills. They were very busy and understandably stressed out but I still think they need to be friendlier to their guests

This was the first place in Amarillo to welcome us with a friendly face. We got there early, put our order in and waited for our food. While waiting, the phone rang several times with eager order and several other customers came in. Once we got our food, we ate there (not much seating) and it was so worth it. The chorizo was not too spicy. The tortilla was so delicious. It was a hearty breakfast burrito.It is more of a Mexican market where you can order food. I loved everything about its authenticity. Will definitely come again.

I called in a couple of weeks early to make an order and they informed me that I could call on Monday and my order should be ready Tuesday or Wednesday depending on what’s going on I called Monday they said they would have it ready Tuesday I needed five dozen tortillas two tubs of chili Verde to go out of town with us on Christmas they didn’t make my order they said they won’t make my orderI have been coming to this location for over 23 years you lost a very loyal customer

Placed my order went to lupitas told my name , and waited for a hour , and noticed other people getting their food and they just went and ordered in person. Asked the girl in front where is my order and of course she didnt know , lupitas needs a better way of handling peoples order everybody is just bunched around the front counter

Wonderful experience. Everyone was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. The meal was prepared quickly, and correctly. I had no complaints about anything.It can get a little busy and crowded during rush times, but getting in for a late lunch or early dinner is no problem.

Traveling from OKC to Albuquerque and stopped here for lunch. And you should too - as these were the best tacos Ive ever had (that my wife didnt make). If were ever through Amarillo again, I will make sure to stop here again even if Im not hungry.

I call to make my order and i give them 40minutes to pick up ,when i get there my order is not ready i wait aprox 1hr 20 minutes and my order is never ready so when i ask the lady on front desk said she dont know nothing about my order.im just got out and go somewhere us

This is a great place to get breakfast burritos. I drive to Sandiego from St Louis and stop here for breakfast everytime. Everyone in our family loves burritos at this place. It is an old school place and might not be in the best part of town but the food is awesome.

We heard of the notoriety of this little gem. This place produces their own tortillas as well as serve the most delicious homemade tacos.We ordered 4 tacos. You can choose from a variety of flavor options, so we chose their famous green chile tacos. Fresh, full sized and loaded with shredded cheese.Two tacos each made a full meal for us. We are so glad to find this place, I think you will be glad too. We will be back soon.

My husband keeps talking about this restaurant, he lived in Amarillo 30 yrs ago, and still talks about it! We now live 8.5 hrs away, but are going to make the drive up next weekend so I can try it out! All the reviews are great!

I shouldve written this sooner. I used to work with a guy who swore by this place. He finally got me to try it for lunch one day, and Ive never regretted it. They may not have the selection some places do--no guacamole, for instance--but what they do have is high quality, well beyond what youd expect for the very reasonable prices.

This place never disappoints. Always get the chili Verde its so good!! I can always count on it being tasty and spicy. They make the tortillas right in front of you too.

A famous place in Amarillo for its food you can eat there and they also make the best corn tortillas on the planet. I often take a pint canning jar they will fill with their delicious hot sauce, that is actually hot. they sell their sauce by the pound, one pint equals one pound.

Place does have some of the best burritos in town but customer service is abysmal. As a hispanic I get extremely bothered that Im dismissed and hardly acknowledged during the ordering and checkout process but when a non hispanic person enters, they bend backward to service them and treat them extra nice. Next time pay attention to that. They put extra emphasis on treating others better and take their hispanic clientele for granted. (coonery) Add to that overall bad customer skills, wait times and a messy crowded environment. Thank God their burritos are delicious... Only reason to put up with it all.

I dont buy food from this place, twice I bought tortillas and the bag was torn. The tortillas obviously had mice eating on the tortillas. First time I just threw away the second time I showed the girl working at the counter and she just looked at me and threw them in the trash. The shelf behind the counter where they put tortillas there was black mice feces all over that counter and told her look behind you thats not black rice. Disgusting dont know how they have not been shut down. They have numerous places to eat I dont see how they dont just get an exterminator to kill bugs and mice. Good food if you dont mind sharing your meal or tortillas with mice

When you place your order you dont have a long wait to get your food. The food is REALLY GOOD. They have fresh homemade corn tortillas, soft drinks and MORE to choose from. They have chips, Hispanic products to buy.

The only one problem with Lupitas is just that their burritos used to be much more juicier when I was a kid and when I used to go there and now everythings just dry as hell but thats okay because I found out that if you want more juice you can ask for a side dish and you can make it as juicy or as hot as you want it to be just like back then so I guess ice wire rate them five-star still

Food good. Service not so good. Tried calling in an order wouldnt pick up phone. Drove over and they werent open on there listed time usually always few minutes late(15min). For a place thats been around for a while thats very irresponsible.

Where has this place been my whole life?! Homemade tortillas and exceptionally traditional burritos. If I get fat over the holidays it will be because of Lupita, not pumpkin pie.
