I have had both Mac and PC issues that Westgate has solved masterfully and quickly. I am very grateful for the level of service they have provided giving clear estimates and solving my issues completely.

Customer service was so rude and condescending that I decided to take my device elsewhere. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful but JJ is so hateful that I will never take another device back there as long as he is working. I have never had issues in the past until I came across him.

I have a tiny business and my hard drive failed. I was in a panic. Westgate Computer specialists are my heroes! The young man who initially did the intake on my system was professional and polite. I was told guestimates in prices depending on the problem. He said it would be about 5-7 days before I heard from them. The very next evening, Michael called me with complete information, and a question of what size hard drive I wanted him to put back in it. The second day, Michael called to tell me it was ready and that he was able to save as much of my files as he could. I picked it up and a different young man cashed me out. He was very professional and polite, too. He even ran out to my car to bring me the old hard drive in case I needed it. I am delighted! When I got home, everything I hoped to retrieve was there!! The last couple of times I sought computer specialist help, I did not have good experiences. This place is absolutely my new go to for computers!

Have been buying computer parts from Westgate Computers for a long time. Theyve always been able to help pull me or one of my customers out of a bind quickly.Whether its been a couple of bags of computer screws and mounts they gave me for free years ago to help me out with a computer build I was doing for a customer or a high end access point I needed in an emergency to replace a failing one they sold me at a discount, theyve always been extremely reliable, friendly and generous to their customers.

I was helped in transfering data from one non-working iPad to a working iPad. Really helped this old lady. He was very helpful and very courteous. Thank you!

Awesome experience. Staff is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. I got my iMac sooner than expected after major upgrades. I will buy new Apple products here from now on because I was treated so well. Ditch the big box stores and get great customer service and support right here.

Reliable computer work at reasonable cost

I walked into the shop and there were two men behind the counter. The younger man gave a lady that was beside me excellent service and was really polite. When I got to the counter the man that was suppose to help me was very rude and short with me. He asked me what I needed in a very rude manner. When I told him I needed my computer to be fixed he didn’t reply. He took it out of my hands, opened it, and mumbled something to himself. He didn’t tell me what was wrong with the computer. When he started writing down my information he was being very rude about it. I gave him my phone number three times and he rudely told me to repeat it back to him. When he finished writing everything down, all he did was give me a paper. He didn’t discuss anything with me. He didn’t tell me how much it was gonna cost me. And he didn’t tell me how long it was going to take. I called them three days after taking my laptop and they told me they had 10 more laptops that had to be fixed before they could get to mine. All he told me was that it was probably gonna cost me about 97 dollars. I didn’t get a call for 2 weeks so I called them. When I called, they told me they didn’t have my number correctly written down after I gave it to him four times the first time I was there and called them after three days. The guy that was on the phone with me said that the man that was supposed to have fixed my computer wasn’t in that day. After being on hold for a while the man I was talking to said he would give me a call if the technician showed up or anything changed. Instead, when I got the call, they told me that my laptop was fixed and it was going to cost me 170 dollars. I had never been to this place before and I’m definitely not coming back.

I worked with Michael Koch and he was able to help me figure out why my computer was overheating and why it would randomly struggle to find my boot drive. Michael was courteous, efficient, and this was all done for a more than reasonable price! I certainly enjoyed working and discussing the problems with Michael, so Ill be back for repeat business with any computer concerns 😄!

They are doing a good thing helping teachers. I highly recommend these kind and knowledgeable people.

Last week my MacBook Air completely shut down only taking me to my log in screen and immediately pulling a “Panic Error” message. I no longer had warranty on my device. Apple wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount where I’d much rather simply buy a new laptop! Apple did refer me over to Westgate Computers which is a third party. When I called they explained the prices for diagnosis, and average hourly rate for working on it and gave me a “worse case scenario” which prepared me. They did have a couple days wait for them to get started on my laptop (or you can pay to skip the line). When they did, they called me to give me an update & ask if I wanted to proceed. Turns out it was a software issue and the computer had to be completely cleared and the software had to be re-installed. They managed to save all my personal documents including pictures & downloads. When I picked it up they answered all my questions. Totally recommend this place anyone having computer issues!

Called for a quote on laptop memory 8GB stick and told $60! At that price you can buy 2 8GB sticks for that price of quality Gskill memory. Im for helping the mom and pop stores but that is a bit much. Yall we the consumer understand you need to make money but to double the price is out of line in the current economy!

Working with Westgate Computers has been a great experience. They set up and installed our office network and ordered all of the computers and components we needed. I would highly recommend using them for any computer or networking needs!

They seem like nice people but they do not work with nor did it seem they have an knowledge of AMD products. With how competitive the market has become I would high recommend at least being versed in both brands even if you choose not to sell them, especially for the lower to mid tier price range since on paper it appears that Amd holds an advantage over Intel.

Quality of service has reduced drastically after they changed locations. The technician I had to deal with was completely unaware of what he was doing. Had very limited knowledge of the working of a motherboard and eventually ruined my computer. Majority of the technicians know what they are doing but I had to deal with someone who had minimal knowledge and would not accept their mistake. They say they performed diagnostics on my computer but when I inquired about the parts that are functioning fine on my computer, they had no clue!

The people really make this place fantastic. They are all eager to help, and patient. They are also knowledgeable with their work. Definitely going back here with any problems I have!

Our iMac is under Applecare warranty, and the representative on Applecare reached a point where our machine needed to go in for further tests. Applecare gave us the information of Westgate, and we brought in the iMac. I asked when I dropped it off whether they needed the case information, and the individual I spoke to said no, and at no point warned me that Westgate was going to bill me, not Applecare, for the work done.When I picked up the iMac, imagine my surprise when they handed me a bill for over $90. I will drive to OKC or Fort Worth to reach an actual Apple Store before I ever do business with Westgate again.——-Response to owner’s response:I don’t expect you to work for free. I DO expect you to notify customers BEFORE work is done that your services may not be covered under AppleCare. Both your employee and AppleCare’s representatives are at fault for a failure to convey that information prior to drop off at your location.

Great place that will help anyone with their PC and what ever you may need with it. Side note the website needs work you can not browse parts they have in stock to buy currently. And it is not user friendly. Please up date the web site so we can use it other than gling into the shop thanks

Based on their google reviews I went there. It was never explained or mentioned anytime there would be a charge/ fees for diagnosis to repair a MacBook. It should have been mentioned to begin with. Not happy with their hidden fees.

Amazing place. They have an extremely knowledgable staff as well as harder to find computer parts. Plus they gave us a few 6 gbs SATA cables for free which was great since best buy was selling the 3 gbs for $10. They had me set up woth everything i needed to finish my computer!

I dropped off my laptop two weeks ago, was told that it would be fixed in “a few days” and that my warranty would cover it. I called today and they told me that it was still not fixed, and that now it was going to be $600 to fix. The staff was very rude and super unhelpful with the whole situation.
