Chad Shipman and Eddie Trotter were excellent, they were extremely patient and knowledgeable. They made my wife and I feel right at home, even as first time buyers in a crazy market. Dealerships downstate wanted to charge 3-6k over MSRP for market adjustment rates. None of that here. Straight talk and great service. Id recommend this place to anyone.

I was in to get an oil change and was talked to several times by service mgr Merris Kelly about a oil leak in my oil pan and my vehicle needed brakes and rotors. It also needed air filters inside and out. I told him I would have to get the ok from Boss because it was a company truck. I called a week later and he didn’t remember it so he had me text him the breakdown he gave me and said he would get me a quote. I also went by same day and he said he was covered up but no one was in there. I never got the quote so it cost your hard working employees or your company over 900.00 in labor and a customer.

Above and beyond effort by service department. My wife and I were 2 hours from Amarillo on a 2 day trip when our check engine light came on. We called Amarillo Mazda. They walked us through some simple fixes over the phone to no avail. Even though we were going to arrive after closing time they offered to wait. Keith Wiggains, Steve Montee, and Michael Cowell stayed on an extra hour to diagnose and fix the problem (fortunately just a software update). They could not have been more courteous or professional. This is the kind of extra effort that makes us repeat customers (5 and counting).

Was traveling through Amarillo & my Mazda broke down on the highway. I was able to drive it to this Mazda dealership & within minutes, I was being helped and a part was ordered. The mechanics said it would take about 30 minutes. And they were right. I was in and out — without an appointment. I truly appreciated the kind staff and quick service. Had the engine in my 2010 cx7 break down on my way to Ohio for a funeral, turned out to be a blown turbo that I couldnt afford the time to wait on repairs. Chad and the team worked fast and hard to get me in a new car and on my way as soon as possible. Not only that, but a few day later the salesman (Chad) texted me while I was on my way back to texas to see how I was doing and if the funeral went well. Great dealership. I met the dealership through Cargurus and they were efficient and courteous. Drove my new vehicle 100 miles and completed the paper work at my kitchen table. Best buying experience yet ! I found an issue with a license plate light holder broken and called them . They mailed me the repair part and I installed effortlessly. Chad was a great salesman. Stopped in to look at trucks and didnt leave with a truck. Not their fault. But after alot of pressure I was told if I get in a brand new mazda 3 and have it for a year I would be able to trade up pretty easily. Well not true at all I bought the car for 34,000 with 18 miles. Now at 9000 miles the car is worth 15000. So to trade I would be 15000 upside down dont really know how this helped my life.

My credit wasnt great due to a divorce and other challenging circumstances in life. I put an application in with very little hope of actually getting approved, but Chris Smith worked tirelessly and found a deal on a new used SUV with very low miles. Wanted to compliment Fenton Mazda in Amarillo, and especially their salesman, James Smith...Last month I ordered a Mazda CX-5 from James. He was so attentive to my requests, that I received everything I wanted in the vehicle. And still, is helping me in other details, such as ordering a mat for the back area of the suv. I couldn’t believe the fast service. Fenton Mazda gave me a much better deal than the Honda Dealership across the street. I highly recommend James Smith and Fenton Mazda.

Dealt with Ricky Arnaud. Found the transaction very rushed and unprofessional. He did offer to stay late for us to make a transaction as we drove in from Lubbock. However, there was an unprofessionalism that resulted in the lack of completed paperwork that is having us jump through loops with tax offices in Lubbock TX weeks later. Also had an issue where credit check erroneous resulted in two seperate inquiries on our credit. The response to that was a simple thats how things work. I leave 1 star because dealing with this mazda dealership jas left a bad taste in both me,and,my wifes mouth which is unfortunate as we are a fan of the Mazda brand. Recommend Mazda of Midland, or Mazda of Lubbock!

Purchased a used vehicle from Fenton, salesman was great to work with but vehicle was poorly checked out by their service department. I had check engine lights coming on while on the way home, I spoke with salesman and he confirmed that the service department checked the vehicle out, cost me another $800 to get it fixed. Also beware of their finance department. I requested to use my bank (Chase) for financing or a local bank (Amarillo National) – turns out he shopped a half dozen banks, most likely who would ever give him the higher commission. I have a credit monitoring service and was able to see each credit inquiry from the dealership.

After getting out of our vehicle and looking for 5 minutes he immedi told us if we werent serious about buying a car then and there that hed need us to make a decision. We did not like his behavior and went next door to Bobby Duby and bought a vehicle from them because of their superior customer service.

Our son bought a camper from this place. He fixed it up and someone wanted to buy it. Come to find out, there is an issue with our son getting the title for the camper. Could they have sold it to him and maybe they should not have? He has called too many times to count and has dealt with James and Robert. They hang up on him, put him on hold, send him to voice mail, etc. Unfortunately, it appears we are going to have to get an attorney involved just to get what is rightfully our sons. No worries, we will request that THEY pay all attorney fees. He paid for the camper. They refuse to take care of things on their end. Just from this experience, be VERY CAREFUL when dealing with these people. Things seem to be a bit shady and unethical. And they are trying to take advantage of a 21 year old. MANY attempts have been made to rectify this situation amicably. They CHOOSE not to! All our son needs is the title. Simple, right? Not with these guys!

When I purchased my vehicle I was told that I would have free oil changes for the life of the car loan, you cant get that anywhere else said one sales rep. I took my car in today and only after they completed the oil change they explained their new policy; no more free oil changes. Were losing money by doing it said the service rep. Thats unfortunate. A heads up wouldve been nice.

Disappointed in the lack of customer service & accountability from service dept. I purchased my car new from Fenton & all service work had been done there. I hadnt even reached 24k miles yet. During my last service visit for routine oil change & some recall work my steering wheel wound up marred & damaged. Felt it immidiately when I picked up my car so drove back in to let them know. Was told to come back when service manager would be in. On Monday the service manager claimed this was first time they had ever seen my car. They claimed they did not do the damage even though damage was not there when I dropped car off. They have refused to take responsibility for the damage that happened while it was in their care.

Serviced my mother in laws vehicle and in the process broke something else. They did not do a ticket when fixing their mistake and now the part is broken again and they are refusing to fix it. They have no ticket to go by because they never created one. Shady business!
