By far the best auto sales experience Ive ever had . All the staff I worked with went above and beyond for me and my family , seeing how other auto lots wouldnt even give us a chance to see anything . These guys are the real deal . A huge thanks to my salesman Johnathan , I recommend him and give him a 10/10 . He didnt hesitate to look out for my family and led us in the right direction to get the vehicle we got . And the finance manager went to work for us and got all the paperwork figured out . Even when there was bumps on my side they were behind me 100% of the way and helped me so much . I purchased a Honda Ridgeline from this dealer. Salesman Terry Watson was relentless on sales speech and calls/text. I told me I was in the military from beginning and yet said, “ I wish you had told me sooner, I could have saved you some money.” after deal was done. Then he said, “ you still got a good deal, but I tell you what once the cheque clears I will send you a $100 check.” Now he ignores my calls/text. Its not the money itself, its the principle. Trust is big for me. Specially when i trusted this guy to do $31K business. Additionally, their dealership made promise to me that they will place license and registration fees and now I have received a letter that says I may have to pay any additional fees ..? What!!!!! License and registration was Part of the deal not how much it cost. I am shocked that they are using such shady tactics in communicating with me.Edit after the response:Thank you for your response !!!! So Terry did contact me and says that he is trying to tackle “one hill at a time” still fails to address the promises he made to me. Deal was that i was going to get the truck for the price “tax/title” will be handled by the dealership. I paid for the vin inspection and still waiting on tag. I DEPLOY in a week and still waiting for your dealership to figure out the registration. Very UNRELIABLE to say the least.

My dad is a disabled Army Veteran. He bought his Honda 8 years ago from then Southwest Honda now Brown. He had trouble on Friday not to long before they closed. They helped him get his car to the dealership, brought him home, and had his car fixed before noon today (Saturday)! They even came and picked him up to take him to the dealership to get his car. It turns out his problem was an easy fix. I am very grateful to the service department for taking such great care of my dad! This was the second car he had bought from the Brown dealerships. And I think when I need a car again it’s going to be the first place I look!

We had ordered parts from them to replace on a vehicle. We had returned some parts and waited for a refund. We called periodically and every time it was something else. They want specific part numbers which I could not give them because they never gave us a return receipt. When we last spoke t them the guy that answered the phone he said its not his job to keep track of what comes in or what comes out. They flat out would not help us. First they order a surplus of what we actually needed then they refuse to help us. We have multiple vehicles and it would be nearly impossible to keep up every single part number. We have the invoices but how are we supposed to know exactly what. When on the invoice its not that clear. The customer service was a hit or miss with them.

Took my car in there to have transmission fluid checked . They cracked my transmission with the fill plug. I called and told them and they told me that wouldn’t let it leak but it does leak and leaks from there. Leaks so bad that fourth and third are messed up now. There fix was putting jb weld on it that didn’t hold.

I had the worst customer service. We bought a car from Eli, who was awesome. After about 2 months our windshield started to crack. We went in and got the crack filled. After about 2 weeks it cracked again. We took it back and the collison place said they would replace it. We scheduled an appointment at 8am to get it replaced. We drove from San Angelo expecting it to be done that day. We called them up at around 12 and they said it had just gotten in. We called back a few hours later and they said they have to keep it for the night because they overbooked and couldnt get us. We had to book a hotel room and take off work just for a windshield. The next morning they said it would be first and be done by 10am. We show up at 1030am and they havent even started and they said they did a car before ours. Even though we were reassured we would be first. Worst customer service. And a bad excuse for a business. Unacceptable for a windhsield replacement. Then you didnt do anything for us. Im out so much money for a hotel room, food, and taking off work all because of your guys business. Never will I recommend a car from Browns.- Third party or not, that is someone your business employs and are responsible for. I havent given any money to this third party, your place of business has. We booked in advance and you were aware we were coming. Crazy how I had to drop my car off at 8am to get a windshield that takes typically 2-3 hours. Your shop didnt get it done till 2:30pm, which is 6.5 hours! That doesnt even count the other work from this other guy that you dont claim. There was no call to let us know what was happening, we had to call to find out and go into the building. Compensation should be done for the overnight stay.

Good car selection and mostly tolerable salesman. The office staff is what keeps this place at a generous 3 star rating. Very very unimpressed with the attitude of nearly every employee indoors. When I wasnt being ignored for over half an hour ( yes, I know..and at a car lot??), I was spoken down to and made to feel like I was not welcome. I have never had this happen at a dealership. Im tempted to drop a star every time I recall sitting there for 30 minutes.

We have been loyal customers for well over 20 years.This review focuses completely on the fact that while I was in their service department for an inspection & oil change, NO ONE in the service department wore a mask to protect others from COVID-19.I pulled into the Service Department Drive-thru and got out (wearing a mask), and as usual a person came out to my care to ask what I needed (No Mask). When I came back to pick it up about 1½ hours later, I walked into the office, Wearing a Mask, to pay the bill. There were 3-4 employees in that rather small office at any one time.NONE of the employees wore a mask. I looked around the area and could not see any masks either on the desk or hanging anywhere. There were also no markers on the floor for social distancing.I dont know if this is a political statement as Amarillo is a Very Pro-Trump area, but this seems Very Irresponsible to me. Amarillo, Tx is on of the hot spots in Texas which has one of the highest rates of infection of any state in the U.S.I know we will Not be returning to this Honda dealer for service.

I have always taken my civic to Brown Honda for maintenance because I believe they always do a great job. I took my car in Saturday to have an oil change and everyone was very nice and professional. My only issue is that out of the 5 employees I saw, not one had a mask on. There was a mechanic on the drive working with a customer, 2 service writers, a clerk inside the small office area to check out, and a courtesy driver. It didnt make me feel very safe that people that were not practicing recommended guidelines would be inside touching many surfaces of my car. We have a high risk individual living in our home. He does not drive the car because of my high risk profession, but I do, and now have a chance to contract the virus which could give it to him (albeit a small viral load, if it came from a surface in my car, but nonetheless an unnecessary exposure for me). Bottom line, I have to get oil changes on my car, but it was like you all were living in another world. 27.42% hospitalization rate in Amarillo as of Friday! Do your part Brown Honda!***I dont want to start a discussion about mask vs. no masks, however, the services you provide are essential. Therefore, people HAVE to come to you for their needs, that alone should be enough for your staff that comes into contact with customers to wear a mask and social distance. This would ensure that your customers see that you care about them and the surrounding community.Update: Still haven’t heard from anyone but it’s ok because my entire family now has Covid. We don’t go anywhere but work and home. Order groceries. The only thing different that has happened was that I took my car to Honda. Obviously, it’s hard to track exactly where we got it from given that you can get it from groceries and we come into contact with people for our jobs. But, it’s just a little fishy that we have been fine this entire time until we took my car in and BAM, 5 days later test positive.

Went in with our Acura and we told them what was wrong. Sat there for 2 hours for them to tell us what we told them was wrong. Quoted us quadruple for the part. We know they didnt actually check our sensor that we told them was the issue cause you have to pull battery out and when we got into car it wasnt reset. We ended up not actually needed ANYTHING and fixed it ourself in 37 mins.

Mechanics show a lack of knowledge/expertise for honda cars. And labor cost are some of the highest Ive seen considering how many things they overlooked the first time i went in to get the AC fixed. Props to the speed of service but that means nothing when they get payed and manage to fail at their job and fix nothing.

I ordered some floor mats online and waited a week and never heard anything from Brown Honda. When I checked on line it said they were discontinued. No one emailed me or contacted me about this. They operate at a very low competency level. Go somewhere else. Heres their response: The order status was updated on April 7th, the same day the order was cancelled, the reason entered was that the part was discontinued.Once we update it on our end the transaction is closed, from there it is up to the customer to check for updates to the order.Note they never sent me an email or anything to let me know. And I might mention its still on their website to purchase.

WOW! The Service Department is truly outstanding in every way. While traveling from Ohio to Amarillo, and then on to Waco, Memphis (TN), and back to Ohio, one of the fuses on my 2017 died. The guys in service replaced the blown fuse on the spot, and I am now ready to rolll. Best service department ever!!

We were traveling through Amarillo when our Honda Odyssey engine emissions light came on. I called Brown Honda and they had us bring it right in so we could get back on the road. It took a few hours for a diagnosis since Brown Honda wanted to ensure all was okay. Their shuttle service even drove us to a restaurant to eat lunch and picked us up. Jeremy in the service department was very professional and extremely helpful. The rest of the staff was very nice. I would recommend my family and friends to Brown Honda in Amarillo.

My airbags were recalled by the manufacturer on my 2009 Honda so I was sent mail to go in and get new airbags for free. I went in and sat in the waiting room with my son on a very comfy couch with a free cup of coffee for about an hour while they fixed me all up. The staff was really nice to me and my son. What started off being a tedious chore ended up being a comfortable, easy errand.

Big shout out to Kenneth and Marcos in the service department. After hooking up the lights on our travel trailer after a night camping on our way to the Grand Canyon, we found the signal lights werent working. A stop at the Sizemore RV dealership diagnosed the problem was with the 7 pin connector on our 2016 Honda Pilot. So I pulled into Browns Honda next door to have them take a look. Kenneth pulled Marcos out from the garage to have a look. He found the problem - a fuse that was part of the tow package (and hence not in the manual) was blown. He changed it out and we were on our way. No charge! While it sounds simple, Marcos spent at least 45 minutes diagnosing and fixing the problem. Honda service at its finest! Thanks guys.

Poor customer service, poorly trained staff, and disorganized. Sales manager Terry Bookout will lie to your face or lie to cover for family and employees that lack the common knowledge to do there titled duties. Receptionist is always YouTubing instead of concentrating on factual information to release to possible customers. It’s a tiny dealership that’s about the bottom line. If you want to be informed and included in the whole car purchase experience there are many more better and larger dealerships that can handle your business with class and expertise. Just a example, if your sales person has to ask someone else the answer to your questions, why do they sell?? It would b worth your time to drive to Abilene or Dallas for the experience you probably envisioned.

It was the most absolute worst experience ever! Im stuck with a dud of a car and personal who cant and dont stand behind their words. I went back to tell them about the faults I had, and continue to experience today, and overheard the salesman tell another that he will have to deal with it later because they made good on their end as far as how much they made off with it. BUYER BEWARE!We purchased a vehicle through Brown Honda. In the agreement it was listed the vehicle and a second key fob.Conveniently, they did not have any extra fobs in stock that day, but reassured us we would have it within a week.At the time of sale, we signed an agreement for the vehicle and the 2nd fob. I did see the finance clerk scan it with the other records, yet we did not receive this paper in our paperwork. A fact we were not aware of until we needed to prove what was agreed on.We are now 4 weeks later. No additional key fob. They cannot find the paper we signed. Finally have something good to say about a dealership! Needed to get my moms Honda Pilot airbag replaced due to a recall. She lives 2 hours away in Oklahoma. I had a horrible experience with Milo Gordon Honda in Lawton, OK and it didnt get done (see the review I left for them for more info). But Im happy to say that it was well worth the drive to Amarillo. I dealt with a lady named Lexus, who made sure the part was in before we scheduled an appt. and actually called me back and worked around my schedule. I didnt have to call her. She was super friendly and professional to deal with. My sister took the car over and said everyone she saw at Southwest Honda was just as nice. Weve been in the market for a couple months and knew exactly what we wanted and how much we were willing to spend. I had put out some feelers at Brown and a number of other dealers week or so ago and started getting emails. Normal and a little annoying, right? I was getting emails and phone calls from dealerships all over the Western US. Brown is the only one that actually STOPPED contacting me when I asked them to! When we saw the car we wanted online, I texted and it was unfortunately already sold, but they had just gotten another one that was pretty similar. Jaimi and I texted back and forth throughout the day, and she provided pictures, history, and a Carfax for me, so I felt pretty knowledgeable before even stepping foot into the dealership. At one point I mentioned had that we considered a new car, but should probably hold off until the kids arent so gross and desteuctive,and she didnt try to convince me to go look at the new ones,j to see how they look, of course. Thank you, Jaimi! Because of that, when I AM in the market for a new car, she is who I will be calling.I once drove through another local dealership, just to get a general idea of their stock and prices, and felt like I was being stalked by zombies as the sales associates came at me from every direction. I never even stopped the car and they just kept coming. Im pretty sure I heard a low moaning of saaaaaales. SAaAaaAales as they lumbered toward me with glazed eyes. There was none of this at Brown! We were able to park, get the kids out, and take our time getting inside and didnt have anyone jumping out at us from behind a bush (seriously, one of those zombie salespeople was just hanging out behind a bush). When it was time to negotiate, it wasnt too painful, and they actually came back with a good, fair offer, minimizing the dreaded back and forth. The whole thing took less than two hours. That includes a thorough test drive and inspection of the vehicle. They were kind and patient with our two bored kids as well! We just signed the papers tonight, but unless something wild happens in the near future with our purchase, I am very happy with our experience and would recommend them.

Will was a great salesman. Our financial guy just told us to sign here and there, swiped our card and just looked at us as if we were idiots when asking questions. They don’t inform you of what’s going on. Granted I am (hopefully) getting a full refund on the car due to the fact that we drove it for a month and then called us back saying they were having problems on their part. Beware of who you’re dealing with and be sure to ask lots of questions.

This is the place in Amarillo to get great, no buying pressure and friendly sales staff to buy a car. Ive had my HRV 18 months now and LOVE IT!! Jamie Suggs was my sales person and she is great! Jason Tigart was the absolute best sales representative! He went above and beyond to allow our family to purchase the vehicle we desperately needed. He communicated very well with my husband for a whole week and even called our bank to assist us in making a deal. I recently had the worst service provided at Brown Honda. I took my car in for multiple repairs on a Friday and was called on Tuesday to come get my car. I was told that everything was completed, but come to find out my car was never taken to the body shop to be inspected for repairs. After I had to instruct Brown Honda to send it to the body shop, there was over two thousand dollars worth of damage that would never have been completed if I would have picked my car up on Tuesday. I went to Brown Honda to speak to the manager about the whole situation and received nothing but disrespect. I understand that their could have been some miscommunication and if the manager would have told me that was the case, I would have been satisfied with that response. But instead he placed blame on me and another department. If it wasnt for Brown Body and Collision and Brown Subaru, the Brown Automotive Company would have lost my business. I love Hondas and would have owned one forever, but I got rid of it for the simple fact that I never want to take my car back to Brown Honda again.

My family and I are traveling from Texas to Colorado. Halfway through the trip the check engine light turned on on our Honda Pilot. So we have been non stop calling mechanic shop and finally Napa said they would be able to check the car out to see what the problem was. The mechanic at Napa said no shop would be able to help us so we would probably have to take it to the nearest Honda. Brown Honda Dealership. So we finally decided to drive to the nearest Honda dealership to seek help. I’m so glad we called before hand because when we called the Brown Honda dealership they were of no help. All we asked of them was to check to see if our car was drivable and he said he could not help us because they were booked. So we asked him if he could refer us to anyone else and he said there was nobody else. Which is a complete and utter lie. No compassion what so ever. We are 6 hours away from home and they couldn’t even try to squeeze us in for 10 mins.

Super high prices, search the web and you will find that they are 3-4 thousand more than most other dealerships. They love to play games and hold on to your trade in keys so that its difficult to leave. I showed them the same model/year/mile cars at other dealerships for 4 grand less and they ignored the fact that they were so over priced. And they talked about how great a deal they were offering me. Buyer beware!

I was very impressed with the services I received this morning from the Service Department. I was driving from Dallas to Colorado and about the time I hit Veron TX lights came on in my car. I immediately called Brown Honda and got to the service department. The gentleman that answered the phone wasn’t sure on what was going on with my car but put me through his advisor. The advisor knew exactly what the problem was and told me how to fix the problem without having to bring the car in. Why am I impressed because most places would tell you to bring them the car and then try to upcharge you. I did exactly what the advisor said and the problem was solved immediately. Brown Honda is on my list of Honda dealership to trust!!

I didn’t find the dealership to be very friendly or helpful at all. I had my car towed there. They merely jump started the car. Didn’t seem to look at the issue. Tested the battery and told us it was good and it was actually a bad battery that needed to be replaced. Went to pick up the vehicle after they “fixed it” and hey didn’t even have a record of the vehicle there. No one could find it. Had to have the service manage come from home to locate the vehicle and he didn’t even know what they did to the vehicle to fix it. Had to call several times to get an answer and when he called back he didn’t even leave a voicemail.
