They are a GREAT business. Changed my RV batterys..4 of them. They did such a good job I went back and had two more new batterys installed. They had to remake the large gage wiring. Great price.

I do not recommend Grand Battery & Electric to anyone! They are a bunch of uneducated mechanics (period)! The majority of the so called technicians are not certified to work on your vehicles! They are nothing but rude crooks looking to make a quick buck. Youve been warned!

Our business has been doing business with Grand Battery for years. Service has always been ok, as long as you were not in a huge hurry. We recently took a starter over to have it rebuilt and waited on a call to come and get it. One of our employees took a starter, of his own, over to have it rebuilt two days later. He checked on ours and they told him it hasnt come up to be looked at yet? How, ours was dropped off two days earlier and not touched yet. So he gets a call to go pick his up and now ours is being worked on now. Well fast forward a couple days, now our starter has been lost.......but they can sale us a new one. This is poor customer service, our business has been loyal to this company for at least the ten years I have been here. I will never do business with Grand Battery for work or personal again.

I went in for some strange lights coming up on my dash. The man helping me out was very kind and knowledgeable. I was right in the middle of a 15 hour road trip and had no idea what could be wrong. They ran some diagnostics and it turns out my battery had just been low! Though, not enough for the battery light to come on; it just needed a charge. They helped me get everything back to running properly and didn’t charge me a penny! I would highly recommend this shop and would visit it again.

Rebuilds starters for $36 + parts

Good prices on batteries and fast service. This place looks a bit sketchy, but has been in business a long time and is very respected in the community. While installing the battery the mechanic dropped a piece of the bracket and was not able to find it. He quickly made another threaded rod and installed the new battery.

My Rv alternator cables broke on a road trip through Amarillo. I decided to buy a new one from these guys and the parts I needed to repair my cables. They helped me out the whole way. I was very satisfied with the help I received and decided to have them rebuild my old one also. Highly recommended!!!

Dont buy their used batteries. Service is good but not the used product. I have tried 4 of the used batteries and all were not good. Had to buy new battery but was not in Amarillo so had to go elsewhere. When I got back to Amarillo they wouldnt give any refund or even partial refund since I gave their bad battery for core charge. They are friendly and their service was good but their used batteries didnt work for me.

One of the many things that I liked about Grand battery is the last time I went in I just thought for sure I needed an alternator. Which usually if your alternator is out theres a good chance your battery is out as well. They could have tried to sell me an alternator because that was the first thing I told them that was wrong. Yeah they tested my alternator and said there was nothing wrong with it you probably just need a battery. They won me over with that and I will always shop there because of their honesty.

Great place for battery and alternator work. Installed a new alternator on my truck in about an hour (I wasnt even there waiting on it) - super quick. They had no problem answering any questions I had, and were reasonably priced. Will definitely do business with them again.

My DIL took her vehicle to a mechanic who told her she needed a new alternator with a cost of about $400. I brought the car here to have it fixed. They did some diagnostic tests and found a couple of loose connections. Charged $25. Great honest place!

Went to pick up a part and was specifically looking for one item. I asked if they had it and they brought something completely different. This was something they pulled directly off the shelf. I came back the next day to return because my manager said he wanted the same part that he pulled off and didnt want to use what Grand Battery had sold me. I took it back the next morning and even purchased some other parts and they hit me with a restocking fee. I could understand if this was a special item, but it wasnt, I watched him pull it directly off the shelf with others right by it. I have done business with Grand Battery since 2010 and have worked at multiple dealerships in town and purchased from them. This was the first item I ever brought back and an item, and one that they regularly stock.This was just a way to get extra money off me just to do it.Since that is the way they conduct business, I will never purchase anything from them again, and will certainly never recommend them again as an option on any purchases or business.

My grandma went in for a battery after hers was not keeping a charge. Her battery was still under warranty but the guy told her it wasnt after looking it up said it expired few days ago. Luckily she still had the receipt and it was still good for another 2 months. Then he told her there was a short and he could fix it for 50 bucks. There was no short. He said the new battery would not stay charged due to a short. When she refused to pay the 50 he got rude and after putting the battery in he did not even want to start the car to make sure it was good. He said it new it should start very rude.

Got a discounted battery here. Nothing wrong with it except the sticker. My cars been running on it for over a year now with no issues!

Impressive! My 2012 VW beetle began starting funny and when I looked at the price of these starters, they are in some case 4-600$! I was told by my dad to take it to Grand Battery and they ran a test saying everything was ok, and yet I showed the guy there that the car would start normally and then suddenly not at all! He looked right down at it, walked away, came back, put a missing battery wedge connector and only charged me 5$! I gave him 10$ I was so relieved!

I bought a blemish battery from them. It went out 2 months later. They did a couple tests, found that the battery did fail and installed another one. All of that took about 10 minutes. I definitely recommend this business for your car battery needs.

Me my wife and our little kids were on our way to New York City on a business trip and we got to Tucumcari New Mexico the service engine light came on so we took it to Aamco and they diagnosed it for us and told us it was the alternator. Luckily the alternator was under warranty at AutoZone so I changed it out but it didnt fix it so for the whole day I change the alternator out a total of four times and then we change the battery but nothing changed the service engine light stayed on and we were stranded there for a day and half after being frustrated all that time we decided to buy an extra battery from Walmart and just get on the road. We were getting ready to get on the freeway and we noticed a OReilly across and we stop there. they directed us to this electric place across the street and I explained our situation to a couple of guys that were inside and they really went out of their way to just help us right then and there I really appreciate what they did for us and we made it here to New York safely come to find out it was only a blown main fuse and it took them 15 minutes to fix it thank you so very much and we appreciate you.
