Honestly, I have never had a quicker car buying experience in my life!! I Love my new Toyota Camry! I bought a vehicle at Browns in 1994 and they are still the same. I highly recommend Browns! Gary was my Rep. He went above and beyond for me. I appreciate everything!

Brown Automotive and John Thurlow made my new car experience easy! I told them what I needed and John and the team made the magic happen. No pressure, just fair business. John took the time to push each button in the car so i knew everything my new ride was capable of. He downloaded mybuick car app on my phone and walked me through each of the features. He sat with me in the car as i talked to ONSTAR and made sure i had all the answers they needed. John made sure i understood each paper i signed and explained so i understood everything. My new car buying experience was so much more than i expected. Thank you doesnt seem like enough! If you are in the market for a new car, i would 100% recommend Brown and make sure you ask for John T, so you can have the BEST car buying experience EVER. For months now, we have had issues with our car we purchased from this place. We purchased the car with no AC with the guarantee that it would be fixed before we got the car. After receiving the car, the ac worked for about 3 to 4 months before it went out again. Took it back to their service center and after a day, called us and said we had to pay out of pocket for it because it was not the compressor, the part they originally replaced. I then took it to another mechanic in town and said it was the compressor and the evaporator that had been the issue, and that after taking the car apart, noticed the mechanics at browns didn’t even run dye through it to see where the leak was from. After calling Browns again to give them the report the mechanic gave us, they started ghosting our calls, saying the guy that sold us the car, and even the manager, was not available and would call back later. After replacing the evaporator with the other mechanic, he said that there was a recall on the parts we needed to fix the AC and we needed to go through Browns to get that part and the mechanic was nice enough to say if we get the part from Browns, he would fix it for free, since we replaced the evaporator already. Needless to say by this review, we tried multiple times to call someone to help us and we just get ghosted by the staff and receive no call back. We finally got through to one mechanic that pulled up our file and said they were only liable to fix the compressor because that was the part they fixed originally. It’s sad because a good friend of mine said they were the best in town and really cared for customers. I guess that’s only if you spend the money to buy a new car, instead of used. And when you get a mechanic other than their own, they don’t want to speak to you anymore.

I told them up front I was wanting to secure my own finance with my bank.I was mislead when They said they work with my bank....They ran my credit.DING. Now my bank has to run again.I Wes turned down at least in part because talisman entered wrong income

Great People!!! My salesman Duane was very patience with me since I tend to be very indecisive. He took what I could afford and needed, and he put me into something that was perfect for my family and I. When doing all my paperwork, I had the pleasure to have Michael help me with the finance part. Getting everything approved and helping me have warranty on my cars tires, maintenance, and GAP coverage that was needed. I feel they both did a phenomenal job in helping me out!!! Just want to share with everyone...not all car dealerships are about the money, these two looked out for me and what I needed. Thank you sooo much!!

First time buying a car in 15 years. What a horrible experience so far. We bought a 2018 Terrain. Immediately it had a weird odor. We put a HUGE amount down. We had enough to pay in full but they talked us out of it to finance instead so now we are stuck with a car payment. So the transmission started acting up. We took it in. After nearly two weeks they still hadn’t communicated with us so we went in person to check on it. At that point we were told what they fixed, what they messed up & what they couldn’t fix. They made us think they couldn’t fix the issue and needed to just get a new car. At that point we were rushed & had extremely high pressure to buy a new car. We feel so misled & bamboozled. But we agreed due to the pressure put on us. We had a couple finance options. One was zero down the other $2500. Well after already putting over 10k down the first time we chose zero down. In the end we were told the other bank renegotiated and “the bank” required $500 down so we gave that. We later found out the bank didn’t require it that it was the dealership that wanted that amount. This after telling them we just can’t give ANYTHING down. But we opted for it because it was cheaper interest.So we get into the new car and this car has the SAME issues. So here we are yet again. Back to the dealership same issue different car. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. I wish I had a time machine I’d go take my business somewhere else. We got a text from our dealer that if we have him a good review from the email he’d give us free gas. So we did there ONLY for the free gas. Not because that’s how we actually felt.

These people wrote the book on customer service! Or I should probably say that I wish they would! The GM, Kyle McAdams is not only personable and professional. He must be some kind of manager because thats how one gets EVERY PERSON in the dealership to be that friendly and efficient as they all seem to be! We were stranded tourists and they did more than one could ever expect to take care of us and make us feel like family!

They refused to work on my grandparents 1999 GMC Suburban back in 2001 when the power steering system failed while we were shopping at Westgate Mall. Greg Lair however was very accommodating. Browns also took advantage of my mother in 2002 when she bought her Bonneville from them. They gave her such a good deal on the car they couldnt offer her anything for her trade-in. They then called the following week to ask her to bring the car back so they could submit a claim for hail damage to recover money they lost on the sale. They only gave her 4k off and her quote for repair was 9k. Hail of a deal they gave her. They then made us drive 3 trips of 2.5 hrs each way to get a damaged seat cover fixed because they kept ordering the wrong part, and when I took it to Michigan afterwards, I found they had removed the heated seat kits from both front seats. Thank God Pontiac Customer Service forced them to pay for the repairs to the good dealer in Michigan! I may browse the lot, but in all honesty, Id never buy anything from this dealer group!!!

I have to admit Im a bit disappointed in the last car we bought from Brown. You would think a car lot with a reputation like Brown would make every effort to make sure the cars they sell are working properly. The car we purchased during the summer months has a clogged heater core and is now going to cost us over $400 to repair. So much for good faith in their pre-owned cars. Yes I know we should have checked the heater before we bought it as is but they really should have disclosed the problem up front. Up until now Ive had a good experience with Brown over the years but I will definitely think twice before I purchase another car from them. Im disappointed that they are just like every other dealership in Amarillo. All about the money and not concerned about the ethics.

This was a great experience buying from them, I got the pickup that I wanted, the salesman Bob Dean that I dealt with was extremely knowledgeable helpful and friendly I strongly suggest buying from brown Auto Group and please deal with Bob they get you in and out as quickly as possible.
