Came out and charged $75 to look at the dryer, even though I already told him that we knew it needed a heating element. Said he’d order the part and be back. Called him after a week and he said the part hadn’t come in. Called at 2 weeks... claimed it still wasn’t in. 3 weeks, didn’t answer. Called me back a week later, but I was out of state due to a death in my family. I called him back a few weeks later, once I was back home, and he was rude and said it would be a few weeks before he could come do the repair. Great at taking your money. Not good at communication. Not professional.

I had them come out in November of 2020 to look at our oven. They took 500+ to order the part and said it would take 5 weeks due to covid. After 6 months of me calling them and rarely receiving a call back, the work was finally done. If I had been kept in the loop about things, I might not be so upset.

If I could give a -1 star I would. This man is rude, always late, and not professional at all. Our dishwasher broke and we decided to find someone to repair it instead of replace considering it was fairly new. We called him out and he told us he would order the part to repair it and we needed to pay up front. I thought that was strange, as a realtor I haven’t seen that very often. However, we did. A week went by with no word, so my husband reached out and he said he would come by the following week with the part. He came on the scheduled day (an hour late) and attempted to repair the appliance. The following day the appliance still was not functioning so he told us he would order another part and we would hear from him soon.After two more weeks went by my husband called and asked for a refund. He told us the “check was in the mail.” Per usual with this person we have seen nada. BEWARE of this company and this very rude individual. Even if the repair would have been made we would have not called on him again due to his unprofessional and crass attitude. We have now purchased a new dishwasher.I will be reaching out to the BBB and our attorney today which will cost me more than the $400.00 he owes however, it’s the principal of the matter at this point.

Amarillo Area Appliance is the absolute best! They are always on time, very helpful, extremely honest and fair and best of all, do outstanding work. You can have supreme confidence that Eldon knows what he is doing and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of appliance repair. I have never been surprised by a bill or extras that needed to be added on at the last minute. Eldon is always upfront with all costs and procedures and has never had to come back and redo any work. They are very polite and I feel very comfortable having them in my home. They clean up after themselves and put everything back exactly like they found it. In the day and age of finding GREAT service people they are a rare find! I have total confidence in them and would highly recommend them, no one else, to fix any of my (or your) appliance issues. Amazing Customer Service and very Reliable!!! Our Refrigerator/Freezer started to make a noise a few weeks back but I didnt think anything of it. Yesterday Our Freezer temp jumped to 25 degrees! I called First thing this morning and got an answer right away and a house call within 2 hours. The Technician diagnosed my problem and told me exactly what we needed to do to fix things. The Staff is very informative and set my nerves at ease with their professionalism, attention to detail, and knowledge. Everyone in this company is very on top of things! I called this morning to schedule a repair on my LG refrigerator. The lady on the phone then began the litany of LG being foreign, using inferior parts and thus I was on the bottom rung of repair success. The website says they work on all types......if you do, dont lecture me on having an LG refrigerator, I dont need it, I dont like it and it leaves me with sour grapes towards the company and all I have done is talk to the lady answering the phone. Either you work on them or you dont. I have had folks tell me that this is a good repair company, but the first impression on the phone certainly does not bode well with me and led me to distrust of their ability to service an LG Refrigerator.Does not surprise me to see the response from this lady. I never even got to tell her what I thought was wrong with it.....and at 63 years I damn sure dont need her petty lecture on me buying an inferior product 4 years ago. She truly is a sales prevention department.

Reliable, fast and honest service. When you are in need of service fast they go above and beyond the call to get your needs met and get you back on track. Most reasonable service company in Amarillo and Great people who know what they are doing.

Great service! Very professional. Went above and beyond to repair our washer as quickly as could be hoped for, and for less than I expected. I wont use anyone else for appliance repairs.

Horrible service! This is a locally owned business that definitely does not care about there customers. The husband and wife are VERY RUDE. My refrigerator was not repaired and the tech broke another part and when I called I was told if I didnt like the service why dont I just get a refund. They refunded the part cost but now I have to have the original problem repaired and then pay for the part that the tech broke too. No compensation for the broken partVery Unprofessional!
