This store always finds a way to change you extra. I have made several returns of Amazon purchases at this location. Each time the store has charged me extra for a “free” Amazon return. Each time they say it either need different packing or attentional service to complete the return. Today I had to return 4 tires. I printed the return slips, one for each tire. They were shipped in two different deliveries, 3 on one and the fourth in a different shipment. They were shipped loose, just stickers on the tires. When I went to return them, this store said they had to be banded together. For this “service” they had to change me. When I ask why, they said the tires couldn’t be shipped loose. I said they were delivered loose. They said could be returned if not banded. I would not recommend this store and hope others stop using it.

My wife processed a return of 3 tires through Amazon. When I dropped them off the kid taking care of me was asking another employee about how they had to ship them and she said about having to be strapped together. He asked how much the charge was for that, she goes umm, 3 tires, $10 or $15. As if randomly picking prices out of her head. He ended up charging me $10 and on the receipt it just says miscellaneous taxable like its not even a real thing that they charge for. Plus the shipping was taken care of through Amazon so again not sure why I was charged an additional $10.

Ive used this UPS store a few times and each time was a nightmare. The employees are very rude. I try to be extremely nice thinking maybe the employees are just having a bad day but they literally try to belittle you. The last time I was here I asked a question about pricing I saw on the ups website and the employee just said in a really smart way we dont own the website. Like what does that even mean? Lol

Terrible service. Was sending something to kid in the Airforce. Cashier didnt know what he was doing. Asked for military discount and they said I needed a military ID even tho I was sending a package to a military base...terrible!

While there was 10 boxes worth, Elizabeth and Zack were so kindly patient with us and the return process as well as being willing to help us in any way they could throughout! We definitely appreciated their assistance and hospitality!

I am totally angry and disappointed that I ended up paying OVER TWICE the cost calculated over the UPS website based on size and weight of packages. Reasons given --We are not affiliated with the brown trucks, we round up the size, there is a surcharge for rural deliveries. On top of that they would not guarantee the 3 day delivery I paid for, only that it would be delivered before Christmas ! Never again!

The women that worked there went above and beyond to accommodate me. I came into the store with what I thought was a decent plan for what I needed, but after she saw what I needed she came up with some way greater ideas of what I could do, just by listening to my needs some. She was Even able too save on their computer,some templates, addresses and more so it would help me in the future when I come back.She also offered some of there tables too me in the front of the store, so I could use to fill out my paperwork and write out some letters with no rush what so ever! Just very accommodating, and helpful !!

Excellent customer service!! They helped us ship many boxes and one item arrived damaged. They made it right immediately!! I’m so very impressed with their concern and desire to make a customer happy! Would definitely use them again.

It was good; they knew what I needed and how to get me the lowest price. I am usually in and out of there really fast. They sell stamps too, but they have to charge almost double the price for them. They have a lot of other services though.

Quick and super easy! Walked in with a package to go bak to Amazon. Counter person was busy with a customer. A young girl was stacking packages. When she saw me she came over, smiled, took my package, scanned it and handed me a receipt! Quick, friendly, best part of my day :-)

Have used this place many times and most of the times were great, sent a pair of glasses to Main and cost me $20 I question that but I was told that it was that much because of where it was going, well I spoke with a family member that sent several large packages to the exact same address that they didnt pay that much I believe I was ripped off. Not happy.

I went to the UPS store in Altoona to just get business cards. What I didnt expect was all of the extra services I received at no charge to me. I had a complete consultation. I had a design and review session. We did several previews and comments via email and phone. Then the final product was produced at no additional cost to me. I not only received beautiful business cards, but Mack created a new logo for my business and was very insightful about the content and color scheme. Highly recommend them for business cards, but also for so much more!

The staff at this UPS Store in Altoona, PA at the Martins Plaza is always very friendly and knowledgeable. They obviously have been properly trained and are always willing to go above and beyond for their customers.

Staff is extremely helpful and makes sure of all the details before you leave. If you are shipping anything, use their service, you will not be dissatisfied.

The customer service I received at the Altoona UPS store was exceptional. My boxes were neatly assembled, measured, fitted into the perfect sized shipping box, taped, addressed and sent with an assured date of delivery. My Christmas cookies arrived on time and in perfect condition. Highly recommend.

Some how I seem to ship from this store even though I live in the Northeast part of the country. I have called twice and asked to be removed from their computer systems. Yet it continues! Now I get an email soliciting my review. Ive had some issues in the past few months with packages being lost at different UPS locations and the UPS 800 help line leaves alot to be desired ......BUT NEVER ANY ISSUES OR COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS STORE ON LOGAN BLVD.!!! I normally have good Experiences when I go to this UPS most of the Employees are super Helpful and understanding. My most Recent experience ruined that good repor with UPS. After 10 different visits where I paid $1.00 to return packages to Amazon the employee Kelsey with curly hair and glasses was forcing me to pay $3.17 to print the Amazon Label and $1 to tape the package . $4.17 to return a package and I had 2 to return. Iv shipped new across state insured for $6.25. If you look at all my Reviews youll see I dont give bad Marks but this is a bad Employee that was not only not helpful but purposefully difficult. Im hoping other customers share there Experiences with this Employee if they had any as well.

Awesome service. The people are great. Ive always had a good experience when Ive been there.

Their deliveries are in a timely period! However on two different occasions I have requested package to be held at depot and that I would pick it up. On both occasions the package not received at depot yet. Both times it was ignored and delivered. One time it ruined a surprise and on another I was called out of town and it sat out in weather for a week. How can I have shipment sent to depot and have it held so I can pick it there?

One time I really needed to send something regarding my phone and whatnot, and the customer service was not only amazing on the phone, but they even held the store for me for 5 extra minutes or so when they didnt have to do that. Its a place that obviously cares more about its patrons than just coming to work to clock out.

They have a very helpful staff. We use them for packaging and shipping as well as secure shredding of documents.

The staff always gets me squared away and it is a much more welcoming setting than most post offices or embedded shipping kiosks that always seem to be in the back of a retail store, so you have to awkwardly walk through the store with a bunch of stuff that may or may not be mistaken for merchandise.

The UPS Store #6512 on Logan Blvd. completely takes advantage of Senior Citizens. I asked my Mother to ship me some items I couldnt take with me on a plane including a pair of $8 hot dog sticks and 3 small sets of deer antlers. The sticks and antler box was only 4.7 lbs. The box had no value, but everything in it was wrapped like it was fine china?!? There was at least 3 of bubble wrap around the cheap metal sticks, enough bubble wrap around them and the antlers (only 4.7 lbs all together) that they had to be shipped in an over sized box!! I asked my Mother if she knew how much bubble wrap went into the box and she said no, they packaged it in the back.. Pretty shady!! My Mother has a hard time saying no and didnt completely understand the process which is not the stores fault, but they didnt have to take advantage of her like they did charging her for that huge shipping box and insane amount of bubble wrap...

They refused to ship my mini telescope because it was capable of being attached to a rifle.

The people are all very kind but they are rarely open on time. So if you expect to send something right at 8, you’ll probably wait for 30 min until they actually open like I did this morning. And I even had an appointment set for at 8 this morning.

I have asked before several time to put packages on the front porch which is covered. Yet they continually put outside the garage where they get wet and have been sent back to the sender.
