It was extremely busy during my visit on a Saturday afternoon. Navigating aisles and finding moments to stop to collect merchandise was pretty stressful. The line for food was not bad. And tire changing service (with an appointment) only took about an hour. Not bad; will try to come during less busy hours in the future. An appointment for tires was only available 7 days from initial tire purchase/warehouse receipt - on a Saturday.

Great store with a mix of new and some older pieces. Emily was very friendly and helpful!

Love Costco. We moved to FL in June 2021 and there is not a Costco in my area so we had to travel to Altamonte Springs which is over an hour away. I was able to get some items that I love , especially the Tailpia, so I stocked up. Will definitely go back when needed.

They offer a wide variety of products, such as Tech, Food, snacks, furniture, laundry, cleaning items, paper products, and more. Checkout is usually quick. The best perk is the gas ⛽ prices. The only reason I took 1 star off, is because at the beginning of the pandemic, we had better luck finding toilet paper in Walmart, than in a huge warehouse like Costco.

Absolutely love this place. I often always find my families needs in bulk. Toilet paper and paper towels and vegetables and other things like coffee are always a must in a family of six. Employees are always super happy super friendly and willing to help.

I love this place ! Good deals, you never know what you could find. My sneakers, name brand are from there, around 20 to no more than 40 bucks. My seaweed 9 bucks, I think are 20 in a pack, Im not sure but is the cheaper price I found. If you use vitamins this is the place. The eye classes have a good price great quality. Clothes are good quality for the price. Housewares are good too.They sell a chicken wrap ready to go, is delicious.

This is a smaller costco it still has good finds ....however i bought some mats at a bigger costco for $19 and at this costco it cost $59.....my hubby question the price difference was told that is the price .....felt kinda cheated though .............

Bad shopping experience!Crowded and hard to find items you regularly buy. Cashiers were relentless trying to get me to buy a higher membership and the employee manning the door was rude to me when I joked how it would be impossible for him to check $500.00 of merchandise on my receipt. He then replied, “you don’t have to shop here” in as rude of a manner as he could.

Buying club where you really save by buying quality products, you will see it when you get your rewards each year, if you are a frequent buyer by using the reward check you could be free for your renewal

Terrible terrible!!!!! experience we had at the hearing department with some Dr. He was rude, nasty and cancelled our appointment because 15 minutes late, with no logical explanation, after they had cancelled our previous appointment because the doctor was sick, without any compensation for our time or apology. My mom couldve been taken care and they didnt do anything. He said she doesnt speak English. I know theres staff who speaks Spanish there. Im still in shock how rude and nasty customer service this doctor had. His whole attitude was like he should never be a doctor. Its very sad. I wont be coming back. She needs hearing aids. They wont be from Costco

Best experience ever this morning. Thanks to your associate named Robert. His shift is 5/30.2021 11:00 AM. He is serving the self check out area. I bought a box of organic strawberries. As soon as I was ready to check out, I discovered there was one strawberry getting mold. I wanted to get it exchanged. I told Robert that I could run back to get another box of organic strawberries. He was enthusiastic telling me that he could help me to go get another box for me. During Sunday peak hours, there were tons of customers lining up ready to check out. The working environment is stressful... But Robert wore a big smile and very kind to help me. He is amazing !!

This place is always busy but they can sure get you in and out. Amazing how I come to this place every week or so and they are constantly updating and moving around new inventory. I always plan for a quick stop but ended up taking a while here going up and down the aisles checking out what is new. Good to see the food court is getting back to normal with more than a couple options.

Costco has been my favorite store for the last 17-18 years, or so. After today...I’m just done with this store. Especially, the Altamonte Springs location. They have steadily declined in all areas over the last couple of years. Rude staff. Always out of basic items. No where near as clean and orderly as it used to be. Has just become a super annoying experience each time. In store and/or delivery. Plain and simple.

Sorry but Im biased with Costco in general. The layout of the store is different that the one in South Florida so it takes longer to find the stuff, bit thats the costco way. You go for milk and checkout with a sofabed that was in the center isle. Love this store.

When you just gotta have a hundred pound bag of dog food and theres enough time for a hot dog and a coke - make it Costco. But seriously for a many people frequent the store the place is always clean and well stocked - pretty amazing when you think about how much merch leaves the store every hour.

This location was far less-packed than the one in Orlando. Nice staff interactions. Did a Return which took only a few minutes.

Love Costco for so many reasons! Their produce, bakery goods, prepared foods, wine selection etc all amazing! My dog is addicted to their delicious + cheap($4.99)rotisserie chicken! Awesome value + selection just avoid peak hours!

Store was starting to get back to normal, no shortages on meat or essentials. They had pork loins on sale today. 4.00 off per loin, I was able to find some loins in the 11.00 range and then take 4 bucks off. For 7 bucks plus some change! Great deal. They had plenty of chicken wings both conventional and organic. We went with the organic wings. Conventional chicken breast was 2.89 per pound and organic was 4.99 a pound.

I have been a regular shopper for Costco for 15 years. Is the staff there are very friendly and helpful and it really helps me both with having supplies I need and often buying things at a good price. I was really impressed yesterday as I am finding more options for those of us who have food allergies or need to avoid certain things and food such as gluten soy, hormones, steroids, nitrates and nitrites. I tried a new wonderful rice noodle soup from them last night and I keep I hope they keep it in stock because I will be buying it at least once or twice a month.

Who doesnt love Costco, plus we ran into a gentleman who looked like President Biden. We had a great conversation and then realized afterwards we were probably talking to his brother James and his wife. It made for a fun trip and a great story.

This has been my local Costco for 4 years now. Its met expectations every time I go, but never once exceeded expectations. The warehouse is always clean, the employees are always working hard, but the shopping experience is usually a bit hectic and customer service is lacking. All of the things youd expect from a discount bulk warehouse. The gas station always has an insanely long line, even compared to other Costco locations.

Costco is my favorite store, but some of their stuff is extremely rude.When I made the price adjustment, the old lady rolling her eye on me, then turned her head to her colleagues trying to say something, then explain to me why they can’t do to adjustment and keep rolling her eye on me; I understand the policy but the attitude is not cool, it was a short blonde hair old lady😡

Good but a crowded event! Like astroids in the parking lot and a free for all inside. Quite stimulating!!! Lol

Always fun going to Costco. Seasonal changes are happening so Halloween and Christmas decorations are already available.

The visit was for a scheduled hearing aid appointment! Service is excellent. Marsha is very thorough in testing efficiency of hearing aid. Set next appointment. Love Costco items, but just too far from Lake Mary for regular shopping trips.

Got all the way to the self check out and realized we forgot toilet paper, The associate Dominique ssked us if there was anything we needed help with. I replied wheres the toilet paper? He pointed to the back of the store, now here is where most people would have went on their way, Dominique ran all the way to the opposidlte end, to find out there were none left. He then went to the other end of the store to grab it from the back stock and brought it to us within 4 minutes. Incredible work! This man deserves a raise!

This place is kind of hit or miss depending on when you get here and who you are interacting with.Gary in the optical department was a peach! So informative and very helpful when deciding which pair of glasses/sunglasses to pick. The ladies at the “self checkout” area are the best in the business and are so helpful and have great customer service skills. Perhaps it’s because it’s like the express 15 items of less line in grocery stores (so they are not overwhelmed) but they always seem to be in a good mood and are always professional.However, some of the employees have seen too many hours and you can tell in their attitudes.David was definitely one of these employees. Gave attitude and was rushing my group. Yes, it was closing, but rushing my boyfriend to give the Costco card he doesn’t have on him to the cashier won’t get you anywhere David. Your cashier can’t start until it’s scanned and I (the cardholder) had to go get some paper towels real fast. It was 5 minutes after posted closing time and we were in line and not even the last ones.There was also another snooty cashier that I didn’t get the name of. But overall like I said, hit or miss and I suspect that depends on the time you go.

Costco wholesale in Altamonte Springs is a excellent big box / warehouse store. You do need a membership To shop here. Great selection of foods meats vitamins home goods electronics and more. They often run sales for even better value. We visit this location. Few times a month.

Costco is aembership, discount box store. Prices are good; but one buys in bulk. Staff is courteous and helpful.

The eyewear department was disappointing 3 people was in the department I was ignored. One went to lunch the others talk among themselves. Nobody ask if they could help. Went to Sams club and Walmart service was much better, getting glasses at Walmart.

Its Costco... Hard to ding on anything except the parking is always horrible. Not sure why they wont open a Costco north of St Johns in DeLand or Daytona... Unfortunate we may have to switch to Sams as they are in Daytona which is much closer. Costco is great.

This Costco is huge inside. It does not have everything, but it has a bunch and the inventory is always changing. They have a gas station, tire services, liquor store, restaurant with seating on the outside. You can buy electronics, cloths, furniture, office supplies. They have frozen, boxed and ready to eat food too. They also do ear and eye exams and have a pharmacy too.

I get everything I need here in bulk like a 30 pack of snail ankles. Great service and polite employees.

At peak times parking is hard to find. The lot is narrow. They need a better location.the gas truck also has to come while cars are trying to get in and sometimes you have to just wait a while.The isles have ample supply but sometimes they move things and then its a hunt. The checkout is mostly full and waiting in line is normal. The staff is helpful but a bit stressed at times.I have been to Costco all over florida and each one has its own challenge. There products are the reason for all this and its worth the time.

I don’t think I have ever met ruder employees. Please wear your mask and do not take it off for a moment - even to take a sip of your beverage. They will follow you throughout the store and make sure it is on your face properly - almost to the point of being creepy.After the harassment and telling them the mask wearing over the nose and mouth wasn’t comfortable due to a medical condition the manager stated that he could get us a face shield or we could leave the store. I get it - follow the rules or get out! We complied - now feeling like hardened criminals and embarrassed.To add to this, another employee “robocop” was at the self checkout to make sure I stood in the correct waiting spot to go in the correct lane. I assured this person I was next but “crossed” the mentioned line while making sure I was not going in front of anyone else who was waiting. I was in the middle waiting for the left or right side to become available... As I approached the register, This person actually folded her arms in disgust, looked away from me while shaking her head and paused for a few seconds to allow me to take her in, then walked away from me. I actually had to summon her back over to ask her for help because that day my back was on the fritz. She reluctantly came to my aid with her checkout gun but told me I had to lift the lighter items up. Wow!!! When she saw I wasn’t kidding about my back she Took it upon herself to help me check out. I did ask her if she could drop her attitude in a polite way and then she became more friendly. Maybe she was just having a bad day?

Go for the ready to cook meals and stop for $1.50 Hot dogs and fountain drink or $1.99 large slice of pizza. Yummy.

Costco is the best BIG BOX store by far! The fresh meat selection is always delicious. The organics are reasonably priced and they are always adding new items . One of our favorite new discoveries is the A-sha Tainan noodle packs . K -cup boxes are always priced right and the wine selection and pricing is fantastic. We are quite a distance away but it is always worth the drive

This store is always too crowded. Even just now Thursday night at 730pm. Too crowded. Good prices, good amount of stock. Plenty of staff around, but too crowded. The staff is unpleasant. The customers are probably worse than the staff, but its a close call.

Employees are very helpful. Check out lines are usually quick. Store has a lot of products, but your limited as to various brands. Precooked foods are usually very good and reasonably priced. Ive shopped here numerous times in the past six months since Ive moved to Florida and have never had a had experience. If you havent shopped there yet give it a try. If you have mobility problems they have a lot of electric carts.

I once was a big Costco fan. The employees used to be super friendly kind of like Chick-fil-A employees. But now the employees have gotten a little hardcore. I once walked the wrong way down an aisle with an arrow pointing in the opposite direction and I got yelled at and embarrassed by an employee. It was a simple mistake and they did in front of my family. So thats why Im giving for stars but also the overall atmosphere is very Gloom with the employees I dont know why now maybe because of the masks. But at Chick-fil-A the employees are still really happy and polite. The samples are back except you can only look at them its a pretty sad sight actually

Like the Winter Park location much better. This has more hardware which is nice etc. Also this one seems smaller.

Please beware the army of shopping carts that can be occupying the parking lot at all times. In fact, they might even be blocking lanes of traffic. Our car was once scratched because of this and there was nothing we could do. So, today we park as far away as we can to avoid the mayhem created by the low priority the store gives to retrieving, and we hope, sanitizing the shopping carts. Other than that you should know the store is generally crowded and sometimes hard to navigate with the density of shoppers. Checkers and staff are amazingly friendly and cheerful given the fast paced and chaotic atmosphere .

Great place for a big famlly and restaurants. Good prices and good pizza outside the store.

I love the Altamonte Springs Costco. I have shopped there for 20 years. They have so many long term employees that are just wonderful people. A lot of them even know my kids by name, because they have watched them grow up over the years.Everything they have is the best quality. This is the ONLY place I will buy my steaks. They are the best!

Always love shopping here. So much stuff. The people Ive met who work here have been super friendly. They are doing their best to make sure ppl social distance and face masks are required. Food court is open again but you can not sit and eat. They did remove all seating outside for social distance reasons.

Much better going during the week in the afternoon then the weekend.

I absolutely love Costco. Employees always helpful. Never have to unload my basket. Their checkout system is the best. Just wish they would carry more veg items... especially like Publix since Publix is so high. Always buy my gas there. The baskets never stick together or roll funny. There is so much to enjoy as I shop. Will be nice when the samples are allowed back. My grandkids love them. I could go on and on, but I do believe that I truly am a Costco fan and so are my best friends. Their garage looks like a mini Costco warehouse.

We had an appointment at the hearing center and Daniel took great care of my mother.

Just take the star and consider it a zero. Perhaps some retraining of associates should be done because they don’t need to be so rude. We just happened to be near this one so this was the one we went to but thankfully we won’t need to come to this one regularly or else we wouldn’t bother with the membership.

An excellent wholesale grocery store. One can buy everything one needs in bulk for fairly cheap prices, so one saves a lot of money in the long run.

Is it was so lovely to go to an establishment and have my CDC vaccination card, To be able to show it in to be able to shop like a normal person again without my mask. I found lots of wonderful products in bought many that were marked down as well as some great nonperishables and bottled water to be prepared for hurricane season. I had a few difficulties when I was trying to get around certain areas of the store, some due to customers and some do to people working and stocking items in just being more focused on talking on their phone or to each other rather than making sure they did not impact the flow of carts and people traffic. Also I usually prefer to use self check outI will likely use the regular check out next time. I was rushed to the checkout on the end and I was struggling in could not get the persons assistance as the person before me left with her order without paying or her receipt. Also when you go through self check out you have to take everything out of your cart and put it on the metal container to the left which is one more time of taking everything in-and-out of your cart. I was making a large purchase today and it wasnt until the end of doing that that another person approached and kindly scanned my case of water. Now this was around 11:00 a.m. on a Monday so I did not expect this type of Level of business like I would win Costco opens, certain times in the late afternoon early evening, or on the weekend.

I have made two trips here for eyeglasses. The prescription was wrong so I will have to go back a third time, it is a 90 mile trip. Do not order glasses from this store

Everything was fine except the people to many. They use mask but there is no directions on the floor. I dont know if it was the time and day. I was surprised

This Costco is great. Very well kept and always stocked. The only con is that it’s the only one on this side of town, so it’s slammed every weekend. Best time to go is during the mornings or mid afternoons during the week.

Its Costco...it has most everything you need and all of everything you dont. Just take my wallet! Clearly not a lot of people read anymore because their book selection for adults isnt vast. Self checkout is easy, especially when a Costco employee helps with their handy scanner! Parking lot is always a nightmare. Ill be back...I always come back, especially for all those items I didnt know I needed.

1st time visitor to this location. I hated the layout so much!!!!!! So different from other stores Ive visited. Just didnt make sense and was complicated to maneuver for a quick trip to Costco! I bumped this store to 4 stars because the customer service was fantastic!!!!!! I used customer service regarding my membership and the self-checkout line. An employee just passing by greeted me while shopping. Another helped me find items I was searching for. The lady at customer service was DYNOMITE! So friendly and helpful! Fun to chat with while getting served. The lady working self-checkout assisted me and I was checked out in a literal FLASH!!! So nice! The older gentlemen at the doors could up their pleasantness game a bit. Theyre definitely outshined by the other employees.
