I own a number of Eastwood tools and, overall, am satisfied with them. The issue is their near-complete lack of Customer Support. I recently ordered a welder from their website and was promised a delivery date and free shipping. The shipping wasnt free and, when I tried to contact them, I got no response. When the welder didnt even ship by the promised delivery date, I tried to cancel. I was not allowed to cancel, so I refused delivery and FedEx returned the shipment to them. It has been almost almost four weeks since I placed my order. They have held my money almost this entire time. Finally, I received a refund: $25 short!! They are not BBB accredited and hold a D- rating. If your order does not go perfectly, or the product is defective, expect a nightmare.

They need real help, must be run by pre Alzheimers patients. Completely unfocused on the phone and dont know ballpark prices even.

Picked up my backorder AC/DC Tig welder. Today was a good for my long awaited new tool.

I picked up an old Chevy as a project after being out of the loop for 30 years. I had no idea where to start as far as body work and rust repair as everything has changed in the past 30 years. The guys there were very helpful and spent a lot of time going over all of the supplies I needed to start my restoration. They have everything you will need to restore and paint your car.

Placed a $1000 order over the week-end with this company. The banner stated free shipping over $99. When I got the invoice it charged me for shipping. When I called the company, they stated that free shipping only applied to certain items. Wow. Be aware.

I traveled down to the Alsip store to buy a MP250i. Talked with Travis before the 3.5 hour hike, and everything was a go. The attention to detail, and knowledge of the equipment was awesome. They helped me load up, and off I went. After I got home, I put it all together, and nothing. After talking with Tech support, and Travis, I loaded it up and headed back. They were Super friendly and apologetic for my troubles. Swapped out the machine, tested the new one and off I went. This thing welds awesomely. I welded for my career, used everything out there, and so far this thing welds as good as my blue one did. Hats off to Travis and his staff. The service, the attention to detail and the way they went above and beyond was more than I could ask for. Thanks guys. You have a life long customer. Not only will I recommend this store, staff and equipment these guess sell. The other thing, when I called tech support, It was someone Here in the USA, I could understand, they were very helpful, and spoke english!! That is a Huge plus for me. This store is AWESOME. If your a car guy/girl you defiantly need to stop into eastwood. Even just to walk around and check it out. Everything you could think of for your project car/truck. Old school, some employees have pro police attitudes that they allow to interface into customer relations. This causes problems with potentially harmful customers. Also known as the hothead customers.They just do not reconize a dangerous person from normal law abiding citizens.For example if a customer threatens another customer with physical violence they tell the victim not to return rather than the violent criminal customer. Go figure..

Ordered 5 items online from these people(all required to finish the job), I got 4 in the mail in a few days after the order. Im missing a piece of equipment necessary to finish the job. I called and was told it had trouble leaving the warehouse, despite all 5 items being in stock before and after my order. They would not refund my shipping fees even though its about to be more than a week late, because of sheer incompetence. Instead, they said they might be able to give me $20 off shipping on my NEXT order. This is pathetic. This company doesnt keep its promises of 100% satisfaction at all, and it seems to me that most of these reviews are fake, with very little detail in EVERY positive comment.Edit: Shipping was $75 and they pass off $16 back as a refund this company is very deceptive. Not only that, but the first time I called I was told I would get NO refund and I had to write reviews to get them to even talk to me.

Worthless products buyer beware. I purchased a under the hood light and after 10 months is literally broke in half. I contacted customer service and due to its companys strict return policy of 90 days I was unable to exchange/return it. I highly suggest that you take your business somewhere else, at least to a company that will warranty its items for 1 year. Worthless products from a worthless company.
