Picked up a load here it was not bad very fast load and good to deal with

The gentlemen who performed my move were amazing! I cant tell you how happy I am that I got that particular crew! I had a difficult move from a 2-story home into a 3-story with a lot of heavy furniture and they were fast, careful, efficient and extremely kind. Since they loaded my home on one day werent planned to deliver until the following day, I had no bed, so they were kind enough to go set-up my bed in the new location so I had somewhere to sleep. Oh, did I mention this was over the New Years holiday! The move was quite expensive, in my opinion, but those 4 gentlemen made me more than happy to pay any amount!

I selected A.C. White for my relocation from Atlanta to Denver, and that was my mistake. Loading was done on time 5/31, however delivery is going to be a different story. I was guaranteed the delivery range of 6/3-6/8 and was just informed they wont deliever until 6/12. I think the worst part about it is that I had to make numerous calls before they would even tell me this information. My recourse in all of this is a joke. Every day they are late I get a discount of 1.2% on an almost $9000 bill. That wont even cover the take out meals since my entire kitchen is somewhere near Orlando?!? on a big United truck. Get comfy kids, we will be sleeping on the floor for a few more days.Updated 7/21/17My items were delivered 4 days later than the guaranteed date unfortunately that is not where this saga ends. I will include my full complaint to the Better Business Bureau below as reference as well as pictures of our boxes and broken items:______________________________________________________________________BBB ComplaintComplete lack of communication regarding delayed delivery and a true disregard of any concerns about broken items and employees handling of the move.I selected A.C. White attempt to let me know about this delay and only was made aware after I called them for an update.At some point during the transport of our items every single box was crushed to the point of being unusable. Some boxes had been set in a pool of red fluid (smelled like transmission fluid) one of which bleed into our bedroom comforter and pillows. There were two missing boxes from our shipment one containing kitchen items (electric skillet, utensils and a knife set) and the other containing bathroom items (household medicines: Tylenol, benedryl etc. brushes/accessories and makeup). Our stand up fan was delivered missing the pole. A stand-up living room lamp was also broken during transportation.The employees who delivered our items were extremely unprofessional. For most of the day two of the un-loaders argued to the point of yelling at each other on how to best move the items into the house. This was all while my three children ages 6, 5, and 3 were present. The entire team was in such a hurry to leave our house that they failed to properly assemble the master bed, attach the mirror to our dresser or even take their sweaty t-shirt out of our master bathroom sink!?! We actually had to beg the truck driver to assemble our patio furniture after the labor left. I kid you not, one of the workers was in his car in the middle of the road telling the other worker that if he wasnt getting in he was going to leave him at the house.I notified A.C. White by voicemail regarding the damaged items on the actual date of delivery (6/12/17) but they never felt the need or urgency to call or even write back. On 6/24/17 my wife and I typed up a complete e-mail, including pictures of the damaged items and comparable replacements to A.C. White requesting compensation for the items and discount of the cost due to the incomplete service that was provided.It wasnt until (7/10/17) when I sent an e-mail to A.C. White informing them that I was opening this complaint with the BBB that they actually responded. I have now informed that I need to complete a separate damage claim for the property and that all damaged items need to be saved, let I remind you that delivery was a month ago and I was not made aware of this earlier._______________________________________________________________________Today is now 7/21/17 and I am still trying to get the damage items replaced. Their claims team is offering me $500 on a damage claim that equaled $846.89. I will continue to update as this nightmare continues.See photos below

Movers were great! Back office, not so much. Prices are competitive but customer service and follow up need some improvement.

We needed move to California with in transit storage of up to six months and a full pack. Our move was made easy, starting with the quote. The team that packed our house did a great job with all of our goods. Thank you Tara for quick responses and making sure all went smooth.We are all settled in California and the move was smooth, on time and everyone was very professional.

We moved from Georgia to Florida and we could not have asked for a better move. John came to our house and did a walk through to provided us with an estimate and the moving package. The estimate was very close to the final cost, in fact the final cost was less which was a pleasant surprise. The Coordinator called the day before to let us know that the Driver would be calling to give us a time that he would be arriving. Upon arrival the Driver introduced himself and his team and went about doing the inventory and tagging of the items. His crew put floor coverings down to protect our floors. They wrapped everything impeccably and they way they packed the truck was amazing. The Coordinator called us to check and make sure everything went well on the loading. The Driver delivered at the time and date he told us. They unloaded and moved everything in and set up everything as well. There was absolutely no damage and extra care was taken with my baby, a Harley Davidson Motorcycle which they moved as well. After the move the Coordinator called to follow up and make sure everything went as expected. We highly recommend A.C. White Relocations to anyone that want a great smooth move.

From the estimation (Terry from Mayflower) to the driver and loaders (Skip and Larry from United Van Lines) , our move went smoothly and stress free. They took time to lay down floor protection in our home, answered all our questions, and provided us with a sense of value. Based on other estimates, the move was in the high end of the spectrum but nothing was broken, we didnt have any delivery delays and feel that we got what we paid. Totally worth it at the right price!

The lead team John, is very professional and the team gets the job done efficiently. The salesman did a great job in estimating the weight. He was under two pounds to the exact weight therefore the estimate was accurate and no surprises. Tara in the office is the greatest. She has all the answers to any questions you could possibly think to ask. And shes great at returning calls and following up. You could not ask for a better Moving Team.

Very detailed from start to finish. Very responsive to calls and questions. The driver and installers were very friendly. I would recommend for local moves. Price seemed in line with other movers. We had some very heavy furniture and the installers worked as a team. They were very careful.

The guys were prompt, funny, and hard working. The management was awesome. We ran into trouble with the purchase of our new house, and had to delay the move after they picked up our stuff. They could have charged us $250 a night for a week, but didnt even charge half that. If I ever move again (not happening) they are who Im calling.

We have moved 4 times & this is the first time using moving company. Did a lot of searching online. Was a little scared about it. Went online and asked mayflower for quote. Got a call from AC White same day & scheduled in home estimate. Was given his name & time he was to be there. He was there on time & very professional. We asked for binding estimate, as we did not want any surprises at final destination. He explained everything in great detail. Was sent quote online to accept. Got call from our coordinator,Tara, giving us time & day of loading. She checked in with us during move & arrival to destination. Very helpful. Driver arrived on time & very helpful, explaining loading process. Crew was careful with our things. Given date of delivery so we could be there. We are very pleased with this company & would not hesitate to recommend them.

Everyone that we interacted with was very pleasant and professional. The movers did a fantastic job. We didnt have a single broken item. Also, there were no hidden or surprise charges that popped up at the end of the move.

After receiving two other quotes, we decided to hire this moving company (we liked John Galloway). Were off to a rotten start:Day One: EIGHT minutes before the packers were to arrive, I received a call from Tara coldly informing me that the packers were not going to come today. Note, this was to be a two day pack and we arranged our lives around this today. Tara was completely unapologetic about this major change of plans and when I pushed her, she finally said I apologize for the driver (the customer views this as one company!). Will continue to chronicle my experience, but so far it looks like I should have paid more attention to some of the reviews below.Day Two: ?

Overall we were satisfied with the move from Marietta Georgia to Marana Arizona in September 2019.We experienced severe damage to our dining room table and to the dining room table leaf.One end of the table leaf was smashed and it also was warped.This $1,000.00+ dining room table was in pristine condition when it left Marietta and we had just used it before we left. No damage was noted when the item was picked up .My wifes grandmothers 100 year old cedar chest was also severely damaged and most items that the movers assembled were loose and missing bolts, screws, and nuts.Furniture Medic did an excellent job repairing the cedar chest, I repaired the missing bolts and screws however Furniture Medic could not repair the leaf. It is still warped and unusable unless it is covered.We have tried to get AC White to fix or replace the leaf but they insist it is pre-move damage.If it was pre-move damage why was it not noted on their inventory?If it was pre-move damage why was the leaf end destroyed.We are very dissatisfied that they will not repair or replace our damaged item.

I cannot even fully express how wonderful AC White movers were to our family. Jeff, Melvin, James, and their crew were so fast, profession, helpful, and kind. We had only the most positive experience and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a pleasant experience booking the reservation for someone to come out to quote me. John came out to my apartment 10 days ago and was very kind in the process. Unfortunately, thats where my good experience stopped. I never heard from John or AC White again. I emailed John 2 days after he came from the business card he gave me and never heard back. I called 3 days after and they said would look into it and call/email me as soon as possible. That encounter was 7 days ago. No emails or calls with my quote. I can only assume they didnt want my business and I have looked elsewhere for my move. I do not like leaving bad reviews, but this was really frustrating and I was looking forward to a smooth move process.

AC White United Van Lines is the worst Moving company I have ever had to do business with in my life.I have moved many times in my life and this was the worst. I asked for experienced movers due to size of load and they sent me a rookie driver who had only 4 yrs. Experience.They did not show up on time they were 4 hours late.The driver failed to bring enough help to load this size load in a timely manner.Due to lack of help and being late they rushed loading and ended up damaging a Computer Desk and Refrigerator both do due improper loading and the lack of use of blankets in which I observed my self and suggested they use more blankets and ignored me.The Driver did not bother to help so only 3 men where loading a moving van that should take 4 to 5 men due to the size of load.When they delivered the load they were again 5 hours late showing up. It took them to 10pm in the evening to finish the unloading and still short of help and since they were late starting rushing putting boxs and other items clearly marked as to where they went.If you use the moving company your putting your possessions at serious risk of damage.I would never ever used United Van Lines again I would move my self First

It was crunch time, and A.C, White was a huge help! I was making the move from Atlanta to Cincinnati in less than 2 weeks, and I was moving from Cincinnati to Australia. The company was a great help, dealing with myself, my mother, and my grandparents. The communication from the team was great!

Made the mistake of using AC White for a December 2017 move. Terrible customer service and management. Terry came to our house weeks before the move to estimate the truck size required to move contents of my 3,200 sq. ft. home. All was there for him to see. On moving day, it became apparent that the truck was not close to big enough to fit everything. The company did nothing to fix the problem. I had to take the initiative to pick up a 10 foot truck at U-Haul and bring back to the house. Only after arguing with the movers did they agree to load the U-Haul and finish the job - they were about to leave! My house was scheduled to close the next morning, so if I had not been able to rent a U-Haul truck, the sale would not have closed. And the next day when moving to the new house, the movers had a terrible attitude (after they had been given $60 to go buy lunch). When I asked for reimbursement for the time and expense required to rent the U-Haul truck, they shorted me $8. I paid $148 for the rental and additional boxes, and U-Haul credited my account for $8 for partial return of boxes. AC White sent me a check for $132. Really?! They couldnt even refund me the full amount! If it were not for my in-laws there to help my wife and me and our 6 month old baby, this move never would have happened, even though I paid AC White over $2,300 for the move. This was the worst moving experience my wife and I have ever had - it would be difficult to imagine how AC White could have done a worse job of managing this move. Do not use this company - there are others out there that must be better! Terry and his management team are the worst - they do not do what they say theyll do. For instance, they said there would be 4 movers, but only 3 showed up. Im going to complain to BBB, and every other online review site I can find so that others do not make the same mistake I did, because it almost cost me the closing of my house.

Our companies have relied upon A.C. White Relocations for 35 years to handle all our employee moves nationwide.... with very few exceptions, we received outstanding professional service at a reasonable price. In the few issues that ever came up, A.C. White was responsive and fixed the problem. This type of consistent quality service over several decades is hard to find (SSI, CheckFree, NetBank and Piedmont)

The move itself went without any problems. The guys paid attention to detail, wrapped each piece of furniture for protection, and were courteous and friendly. I did have one small problem with billing. Because my move time went over there was a balance, which I requested to not be charged to my credit card on file and that I would use a different form of payment. They charged the card anyway. After the error was discovered they offered to refund to correct the problem, but I opted to leave it as is.Other than that the rep who performed the quote, the guys who did the move, and the ladies in the billing dept all made what was a stressful time go as smooth as possible.The costs are along the same lines of other moving companies in the area. But Ive used this company on other moving occasions so I chose to stick with them and I am so glad that I did!

This disastrous unprofessional so called moving company gave us the worst moving experience in our lives when we moved from Woodstock, GA to Columbus, OH in April of this year. We had artwork that was destroyed, antique furniture that was badly damaged, new furniture that was made to look 10 years old due to mishandling and abuse. We were told to file a claim by the management of this shoddy run organization with estimated damage and loss totaling $7,000 plus, only to receive $240. When we contracted with them we were told that they couldnt make the delivery date promised by their sales person so we adjusted our availability in Columbus. When they arrived we found out that they had loaded another customers last minute move on top of ours with the same truck. There obviously wasnt enough room in the truck for everything and our high quality possessions took the brunt of their mishandling and overbooking. When we called and complained we were brushed off by their office staff, then treated with a pompous attitude by their so called management. So if you are considering a move, please avoid this company at all costs if you value your possessions and care about quality service. There are many great moving companies out there that will do a great job for you, but this one is not one of them. I would have rated them no stars but one was the only option to write a review.

All the packers and unloaders were very perfessioal. If I moved again I would call them. We are still in the process of unpacking and have only found 3 items I will file a claim on. In my opinion, when you move acrosss multi states it is expected to find something that was damaged. Still not unhappy and would call on them again.

In March 2016, we moved from just north of Atlanta to Fl. Our entire process with ACWhite was wonderful. In comparison to one estimate done over the phone, the home visit from the ACWhite estimator was the decision point for us! He was honest, down to earth and provided great suggestions and info. Due to his involvement, that is why we went with ACwhite. The same driver helped load us and did the paperwork. He also was the one who delivered our goods. Having moved before, I can honestly say the integrity of this staff is unbeatable. Our weight was under the estimate due to items not taken at the last minute....a credit was issued to us. I am not expecting that would happen in todays environment with many companies! For my review, this company is certainly worth your consideration, and hope you get the same or similar staff we did.

We moved from GA. to NV. and everything was great. Terry came out and did a walk through to giv me an estimate. He gave us a package with moving information.The driver called us ahead of his pickup date/time. He showed up on time and the loading of the van went very smooth. Our move co-ordinator called to see how things were going and called later that day to make sure I was satisfied with the van loading. The driver and helpers were very professional and made sure eveything was wrapped and protected. The paperwork gave a range a dates for delivery and the driver was fantastic at honoring our request for delivery so we didnt have to change our plans for traveling back to Las Vegas. Before the driver left he asked if anything had to be moved to a different location. Our move co-ordinator checked in after the move to make sure everything was fine. The price was right! If you are looking for a great moving company you cant go wrong with A.C. White. Beginning to end they are the best!!

We moved from the Atlanta area to near Seattle, 2500 miles or so, from a house we have lived in for 35 years. It couldnt have gone smoother. The estimate, the packers, the loaders, the unloaded and especially the driver couldnt have been better.

Do not do business with this company unless you want to have a horrible move experience. Mislead and misinformed through the whole process and once move was complete they wanted to charge us an additional $1,200. Felt scammed.
