High prices, but top quality toys that the kids ADORE. They know each dolls name and back story. The whole experience was thrilling for them. We had their old dolls hair redone and ate a very nice lunch. Even the 18 month fell in love with her loaner Bitty Baby and fed it from her plate. Our picky eaters ate well and the 3 grownups were happy with our meals and service as well.

Going into the American Girl store is like stepping into there catalog. They have wonderful displays of the dolls with the available accessories. I love being able to see the larger furniture items in person. This location is complete with a doll salon. You can bring your doll in to have her hair styled. My favorite thing is the Bistro. They have delicious food and as a bonus they have special seats for your doll.

I wanted to revise this. This place was amazing. Our daughter loved it. Mom loved it. I loved it. The getaway from the wilds of the world was greatly appreciated, and there was a magic for our child to see all of these amazing products. We definitely spent more $$$ than we anticipated, but the joy it brought was worth it. The closure of this store is a sad day for us. We send our thank you and appreciation to all of the staff at the Atlanta AG Store. We will miss you all very much and we wish all of the employees the best in future endeavors.

We were late for our reservation but we were still seated promptly. All of the staff members were exceptionally nice and courteous. Well definitely return.

We loved our adventure. I would suggest that the salon install a kiosk for onsite salon scheduling. I always make my appointments online. What I noticed is that the few employees who are working the salon often have to stop and sign visitors up for appointments on site. As a result, the scheduling gets behind. And those who have already made appointments end up staying longer! The Weller Wishers tea party event needs to be more personalized and interactive. I felt no different than if I had scheduled my own tea time. Overall, the staff are professional and attentive.

Amazing dolls and accessories of exceptional quality, always totally worth the money. So much time and effort is put into each doll and her story! The extra experiences such as the birthday celebrations, manicure, ear piercing, hospital, etc. demonstrate exceptional design thinking and make me love the store more and more with every visit!

I cant overstate just how awesome this place is for your little girl and her friends. American Girl has created the ultimate fun and memorable experience for girls. My daughter and her friends had a one of a kind birthday party here. They offer private party rooms and the most delicious cakes you can find. Take my word and check it out, for your little girls sake. You will be so happy that you did and so will the girls.

The restaurant is overpriced which was expected but it was a little dirty the menus were sticky, flowers on the table were really dusty staff was just okay. The store itself was fun definitely recommend checking it out

Best place to bring a lover of American Dolls to. Any little one will love the care and treatment that will go into them and their dolls when they dine here. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is pretty good to. Great for birthdays or just a special time out!

It was such a sweet time! Loved the brunch!

We had a birthday brunch for my daughter at the bistro. It was reserved weeks in advance and a deposit was placed on the brunch at the time of booking. When we arrived, it wasn’t busy and we were among the first in the door for our 10:00 reservation. When we were seated they didn’t bring out the birthday accessories to our table despite our reservation for the birthday brunch and us making the hostess aware of the celebration. After sitting for nearly 30 minutes we finally had to get up and bring it to the attention of the hostess again in order to get the birthday accessories. The food, once it came, was fine. Nothing to write home about but not bad and our server was fine and did an acceptable job until it was time for us to pay. Despite paying the $50 deposit on the meal, it was not credited back to us on our bill as it should have been. Had I not been vigilant I would have overpaid by $50 for a meal that already cost nearly $200. Needless to say, when you book birthday celebrations at a place like this you expect it to be right and you expect it to be an easy situation for you as a parent, that’s why you pay what you pay. When we brought all of these issues to the attention of the manager we were refunded our $50 and then blown off. No one cared that we had to be the ones who had to remember everything and that my daughter was left wondering why all the other birthday celebrations got their special accessories and we didn’t. Sadly, this will be our last trip to American Girl. When you pay premium prices, you expect premium service and that just wasn’t what we got, and the worst part was that no one seemed to care.

Beautiful shop. This is my third visit to the AG store. The dolls are beautiful, diverse and educational. Employees are also friendly. I recommend the AG store for all ages, not just children.

The staff was wonderful. Our girl scout troop had a great time. From the hotel, to the store and spa experience, to the bistro it was nonstop fun. Amazing staff and atmosphere. American Girl is all about Diversity of dolls and toys for girls. Good news is that they also offer services such as hairstyles for the dolls and do also pierce dolls and children’s ears.

Service was great and the kids really enjoyed this. This was our first time at American girl. I wish the food was little bit better. Some tasted good some not so much and the quiches and burgers were cold. Staff was friendly and bathroom was clean and kids had smiles.

We came in December to get my daughter’s first American Girl doll and were greeted by Hannah. Hannah is such a great asset to your store! Lovely, lively, and encouraging! We came back today and found Hannah and she made our visit very pleasant! Thank you, Hannah!

Had a wonderful time with my wife and daughter here. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and genuinely wanted your time to be special. I was particularly pleased with Delores who helped do my daughters dollys hair and nails. Delores was very friendly and did great talking to my daughter about her interests and then when my daughter went to go look at something with my wife, Delores was good at even striking up a conversation with me and told me some great things that my daughter can do with upcoming events at the store. Wonderful experience!

I recently brought my daughter over the weekend to the bistro as a belated Christmas present date. I made reservations about a month in advance for 1 pm. Since we were driving down from Tennessee, I alotted a little extra time considering Atlanta traffic. We ended up arriving about an hour before our reservation time. I approached the hostess stand and let her know I wasnt expecting to be seated early, but just wanted her to know we were here and if anyone cancelled they could just email, text or call, and we would come on over since we would just be walking around the mall killing time. The hostess said rather dryly, Your reservation is at 1, well see you at 1. They were running a little behind and we actually were seated about 1:25(which is no problem, I understand things happen). The server was quick and polite. The food, as most reviews state, was not bad, but was also not exessivly good. The portions were large. The primary reason I brought my daughter to the Bistro was because of how much she loves her dolls. I assumed carrying the brand American Girl that it would be a really neat experience. Basically the doll gets a doll high chair at the table and a cup and a plate(which, really is no different from a regular night at home for us). Had I known that was the extent of the experience I probably would not have spent the gas,time, and money. Once again, no one necessarily did a bad job, and nothing went wrong... I just had set the bar rather high for the price that was paid.

Everyone was so helpful and the young lady at the check out told me about the rewards program. It saved me $20. The restaurant was also good.

We took our our daughters so they could buy Christmas gifts for each other. The customer service was exceptional. We were helped by three women, who were all kind and sincere. There was one in particular though, Courtney, who went above and beyond to make our experience special and memorable. We will never forget her kindness and Christmas spirit.

I loved it for the variety of dolls that look like all the girls in my family from dark to light. They have a way to go duplicating the looks and hair of more diverse ethnic Anerican girls with kinkier hair but hey - way more choices in American dolls than anywhere else in a mainstream type store. I would normally say 5 stars but right now Im a little disappointed in American Doll....How the heck do you put an American Doll on YOUR magazine that you mailed to my house that has NOT been available since January 29th and is not available till MAYBE the end of March and the other not until the end of MAY?!!!Now my child is crying because we were gonna go get that doll tomorrow not thinking it wouldnt be available especially when you make it your cover!!Ive never even seen this doll before EVER!!!!!! I am referring to Truly Doll number 88 and 86.Thanks for a ruined evening ....

A fun store. Great selection for 6-12 year old girls. They have very few options for baby and boy dolls and are all the way around much too pricey. Overall, a great idea though.

This is one of my granddaughters favorite store! You can spend a whole afternoon looking at all the beautiful dolls and their accessories. I was surprised to see that they also had clothes for the girls to match with their dolls. And I love that there are books written around the dolls, especially the historical fiction. My granddaughter loves reading those too! Its great that there is a Bistro where we can grab a bite to eat.

I took my 7 year old daughter here for her birthday and we loved it! The customer service was awesome! There was always someone ready to help. My daughter got her 1st AG doll. We got the dolls ears pierced and her hair done. The appointment system for the doll salon was super easy to book. We also ate at the cafe. The food was just okay, but it was more about the experience. The assistant manager was awesome and gave my daughter a few books and AG trinkets once she found out this was our 1st time to the store.

The manager at this location was so nice to my wife and daughter. Its like they became instant friends through conversation. When the manager found out we had a house fire and we lost everything which included all my daughter toys she really brightened my daughter day because she too had a house fire when she was young as well. This was our second visit to this location and both times they have treated us very well. Great place to have a birthday party as well. My daughter really enjoyed her 5th birthday party there.

The American Girl Store is very clean organized and above par. The Associate that helped us was extremely happy and knowledge about all dolls and products I wish could remember her name Ill edit this review if my wife can remember. Im sure if we had the extra money while on Vaca we definitely would have left with something.

The dining experience was awful !!! I asked for hot tea and was told the water for the tea was broken. Then I order the spinach dip it was cold and pita bread was undercooked. Then came the salmon which again was cold. I would not recommend this place for lunch yes it is nice for your daughter to eat with her doll but don’t go expecting to have a good meal.

Wonderful experience. The staff gave us a tour of the store upon entering that kept my daughter engaged and excited. Her name was Jennifer and she was awesome!!!

This was my first time in the store as well as my nieces first time. Her face lit up when she realized she was going to go in the store and go shopping for her doll. We had already made an appointment at the salon to have the dolls hair done. Morgan in the salon was phenomenal! She explained what she was doing to my niece and talked to us, mainly my niece, while she was washing and curling the dolls hair. We ended up getting her ears pierced and buying several outfits and a book. I had no idea that store carried all of those items for little girls and boys, and their dolls. It was truly an experience.

I called to book a birthday party for my 9 year old daughter. I had reviewed the pricing and was aware that the basic and most inexpensive party package was $30 a child. Fine. Im gonna have 10 kids, so $300 is what I expected. When they told me I had to pay $20 for adult to simply attend the party, not even eating, I declined to book the party. Thats insane.

A great place to go with little girls, especially for a special occasion. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cafe is overpriced for the fare, but it’s the experience you are paying for so not unexpected. Lots of fun if you come prepared to spend some money.

Wonderful store and Bistro as well as outstanding personnel. My 8 yr old granddaughter said it, was the best day of her life.She chose her first America Doll, a Truly Me. The ladies that helped her decide, listened to her wants and questions with sincerity. Each one related some of her own experiences with their personal dolls. I agree with my granddaughter, we will be going back!

The experience here for a young girl is amazing. However, the bistro left something to be desired. It took us over an hour to get our food and of course when it arrived it was cold. The customer service here made up for the extreme wait on a non busy Saturday. Keep in mind you have to make hair appointments in person these are not able to be completed online. Overall a cool place but 2 stars were given due to the bistro

We loved the look of the store. My daughter & I stopped in as we were passing by. We weren’t planning to shop there, therefore we weren’t looking our best. We were not acknowledge while shopping. Two separate employees talked to each other & two other people (just saying hello) No one even said, hi, welcome anything to us. I witnessed none of the employees actually engaging with the clients. This is a store that should be all about servicing clients and wowing them. They failed in that department. This is a direct reflection of the store manager of this location.

I love American girl.the hair stylists that worked at the doll hair salon were great and the stylist precious helped with the stains on my dolls face and all the staff helped me find out what I needed .I recommend American girl to anyone especially little girls.there are a million different dolls that are made to look like you with a million furniture pets and accessories based on what you have in your life.they now even have not dolls and a live of boy doll clothes.

This store is a little girls dream come true! The displays are darling and the hair salon for the dolls is a great touch. I love how many matching outfit options they had for girls and dolls, what little girl doesn’t want to match her baby doll? The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

HORRIBLE. We sent our doll in the Doll Hospital for ear piercing TWO MONTHS AGO, they lost the doll and are refusing to replace it. We had to order a new doll. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

The bistro was disappointing. They only had 3 of the 8 things available on the menu. Which is understandable, but they did not offer anything to make up for not being able to order food we actually wanted. Also grownup portions for children over 4 is ridiculous. Not worth the drive or price in my opinion.Hair salon was very unorganized as well. Our scheduled stylist went missing, therefore we had to wait longer before someone else could replace her.Floor level employees were friendly, but management did nothing to resolve any issue. Very disappointed. I will not return.

50 shades of pink. Perhaps this should be obvious, but this place was not decorated with male patrons in mind. Having said that, being here makes my daughter very happy. Which makes me very happy. We are eating at the Breakfast with Santa in the Bistro. The food is good but the portions are limited. Eat a snack before you come.

Amazing! This is the rare store that celebrates children. Everything on display can be touched and played with. We spent several hours at the store having fun, but the kids did not go crazy trying to buy everything and just enjoyed the pure joy of play. The hair salon was worth it, and our dolls love their new styles. The bistro was also nice, and the doll-sized plates were an adorable touch. We made a special trip to the area just for this store, and it was worth it! The rest of the mall also seemed really nice, with a train, a carousel, and other great stores (like the Lego Store).

What little girl wouldnt have fun here? The hair treatment options, seeing all the outfits and dolls in person, and picking out something extra fun make this a special trip for any little person in your life.

American Girl is an experience every little girl (or big) who loves dolls should experience. You can bring your own doll or borrow one. The doll is provided her own seat and cup and saucer. Since we did a birthday the birthday girl and dolls each got a crown and stickers.

I give a five star. At the beginning of my purchasing adventure I was met by a very lovely cashier. It wouldve been a three star due to at the middle, I was then met by a rude cashier who just didnt seem like she wanted to be there. Anyway, today my daughter celebrated her 11th birthday at the Bistro, which we were hosted by Wendy who was even more lovelier than the first cashier. Overall, aside from the rude people who still have jobs there, I would really make it a thing going forward. Thank you Wendy and first cashier lady.

My baby girl was so thrilled to have her appointment as she called it her first trip to the American girl.

My daughter had her 7th birthday party at American Girl. I was very disappointed with what came with the birthday especially for the price. I would not recommend anyone to have their daughters party here unless your ready to buy all the girls in the party a doll. It is really just the same as taking your daughter out to a restaurant. If the gift bags had more in them than just a doll shirt and some kind of doll rattle. They could have put candy etc. Also I think American Girl should make mini dolls for the girls to take home or to be placed in their gift bags. Nice place to take your daughter to visit but definitely not a party package. I felt I did not get what I paid for and the service was slow aside from them n out getting the plates that were already used off the table and out of our way. They just continued to pile everything on the table. Not recommended.

We went to the AG store in Alpharetta on Sunday, 11/13, for my daughters birthday. We kept it a family event, so we did not have a party at the bistro. My daughters both played with some of the display dolls and accessories in the store. My daughter selected her doll and some accessories, and I carried both around the store for approximately 30 minutes before I was approached asking if I wanted a shopping bag, even though I walked past no fewer than 5 employees who were not otherwise occupied.After shopping, we went to the bistro for our lunch reservation. We were seated promptly, and the service was fine in the bistro. The food, on the other hand, was sub-par for the amount we paid. As with most things in the AG store, youre paying for the name and the experience. I had the burger, and it was fine, not great but not terrible. My daughters both ordered the butterfly pasta, which was simply noodles on a plate, and the noodles were not warm nor buttered. My daughter, who was turning 4, didnt care and was just excited to be in the store, but if Im paying $16.50 per plate, I expect a little more than cold plain noodles.Overall, I was disappointed in the experience, but my daughter was thrilled, which is why I am giving it two stars.

It is a cute store, very cahotic, although I had assumed as much. I recommend looking online first, if your child is old enough, so you know what you want before you go in. It will be helpful. You will probably have to seek out help, no one asked us if needed anything.

So far so good. First time I went to the mall for something else and stopped in to ask a question. They were very helpful. My oldest daughter had received a doll and extra outfit for Christmas but the dress had ripped. They said bring it back and they would exchange it. When she got back home from summer away I took her in. She had a blast looking around and just like before, they were helpful. Exchanged the dress with no problem and that made us both happy. Even considering throwing her a party here.

Whats all the hype for? I have a little girl. She was not impressed. And the cost, come on! Thats ridiculous. I could go out to a nice restaurant for less.

Had a really good experience at the cafe, but the salon experience left a lot to be desired. We waited nearly half an hour for someone to show for our appointment (apparently someone was no show for work), then got fussed at when my little one was playing with display toys on the floor. Seriously, theres only so long you can expect a two year old to wait without your store being rearranged. Finally gave up and went home without having salon services.

The restaurant is so pretty, sweet, and pink. I felt like I was eating in a princess castle. Adults can even enjoy this place. The food and service were enjoyable. But the restaurants playful environment is the cherry on top.

We visit GA every year for Thanksgiving. Our daughter has visited the AG store at least 4 times since weve been coming and she loves it.

I found it hard to grasp the silliness of this store. Paying to get your dolls hair done and to get its ears pierced is absurd. I dont see how the workers could take their jobs seriously. Perhaps their disconnection with their product could explain their lack of warmth. Dining area was understaffed. I waited 7 minutes to be greeted after being sat and had to go looking for someone to take my order. I needed to get up again to get our check.

This was my daughters (and my) 1st experience at the American girl Store. We were on our way to Atlanta (from Huntsville Alabama)for her brothers taekwondo tournament. She brought her Girl of the year 2018 Luciana with her and her doll had on a homemade dress that I had purchased on a different sight, when we got to the hair salon for our appointment which we made over the phone the ladies at the hair salon were extremely helpful and made my daughter feel special and made her doll feel special as well! We shopped in the store until it was our dolls turn and I received text messages when they started the appointment! Brittany was very nice and very informative. She told my daughter how to care for Lucianas hair! It was a great experience!

The wait for everything was long even though the store wasnt busy and the staff was not very friendly. I would think if youre in a store paying the incredibly high prices associated with this brand youd at least be blanketed with nonstop kindness lol.
