I recently bought an Interceptor for my wife from Pedego Alpharetta, off Northpoint Pkwy near the Greenway, and the experience was so positive, and the e-bike so much fun to ride, that I returned two days later and bought myself a fat tire Element which was an absolute blast to ride on my favorite mountain trail. Greg and his staff at Alpharetta Pedego are top notch, ultimate professionals. I recently visited their store ‘out of curiosity’ with my 13 y/o son with the idea that we’d ‘possibly’ rent a couple e-bikes for a few hours. I immediately felt at ease with their welcoming approach as they reviewed the different models and options available. We were offered a ‘test drive’ on a few models and after Greg reviewed and explained all features, my son and I flew around the empty parking lot amazed at the quality and speed these bikes had. We were immediately ‘hooked’ on the ease of use and fun factor that each bike provided. Without any sales pressure, we committed to buy (2) new bikes with accessories and transport rack. Greg personally installed our new rack and explained all necessary details to get us out on the road immediately. We couldn’t be happier! My son is ‘over the moon’ with his new bike and I’m thinking I should’ve done this a lot sooner! I will highly recommend Alpharetta Pedego to anyone thinking of purchasing or renting an e-bike.

My wife and I rented 2 electric bikes and went on the trail for our date night. Had an amazing time! Both of us haven’t ridden in years but the associates were super helpful and instructive! The trail was great and the bike was even better; great value too. Overall it was a great experience, and we’ll be back again!

We has a great time renting a couple of electric bikes and going on the greenway. We had never done electric bikes before, but they gave us instructions and we rode around the parking lot to get the feel of it. They were so very helpful. We rented a pair for my wife and I to try out to see if we wanted to purchase . They guided us to the trail, gave pointers on the trail and off we went for a very enjoyable excursion. I was looking to plan something fun for my husbands birthday and needed it to be extra social-distanced from others since our son is mid-treatment for Leukemia. Many thanks to Store Owner, Greg, who went above and beyond and met us 2 hours before the store normally opened so that we could hit the trail early and avoid the crowds. The e-bikes are very fun and I heard a lot of laughing on our ride--music to my ears.

I recently retired and thought I might look at electric bikes as way to get outside and get some exercise. I rented a Boomerang model for a week, but had to return it early when an unexpected occurrence necessitated a quick trip out of town. Greg the owner told me I could come back the following week and finish my rental time. I didnt ask, he volunteered! Instead, I purchased a City Commuter model today. I checked out a couple of other bike shops in town before making my purchase. IMO nobody beats Pedego in terms of value and service.

Greg and his staff helped our large party of 8 last weekend and everyone just loved our time out in the greenway. Tina was amazing! Not only did she explain how to use the electric bike but showed me the trail to go down (super long about 8 miles?) and answered all my questions! I didn’t make it too far by myself but would def come back with friends! Great for all ages.

I had the BEST experience with Greg Godwin at Alpharetta Pedego! So I got my bike there last week and went back today to get my Thule bike rack. Not only did Greg attach it to my hitch, he actually showed me each step of the process in addition to getting my bike attached while I recorded him. I had also asked him about what to do if I got a flat tire - he showed me step by step and let me record him. In addition, he installed a mirror for me and a cell phone holder (showed me the pedego one he liked which was not the pricier one and I love it!). Then I got home and easily got the bike off the rack BUT I couldnt figure out how to detach the rack from the hitch. It was 9pm, I sent Greg a text and he immediately called me and talked me through it - how awesome (yes, Id still be out there without his help)! Customer support means everything and Greg goes way beyond that. Hes also exremely kind and patient and I give him the highest recommendation. Thank you Greg!

Great experience renting electric bikes with out of town family. Five adults in our group (over 50 crowd) and none of us were familiar with using electric bikes. The owner was so friendly and helpful. He provided instruction on use and adjusted seats and helmets for proper fit. Then he led us to entrance of Big Creek trail and we were on our way. Everyone loved the experience even with some drizzle and flooding on trail. My husband now wants an electric bike because they are so fun to use. Even going up the big hill on our way back to the store was no trouble with the assist of the electric bike. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back with other visitors. Rented bikes for 6 of us (1 tandem 5 individual bikes), loved the ~16 mile ride with the family! The staff was friendly and helped get everyone settled and comfortable before we took off, and the experience of the e-bike and specifically the Pedego’s is truly an amazing experience. I don’t own a Pedego... yet, but HIGHLY recommend talking to the staff, owners and trying out a rental for an hour or even couple days and enjoy the trails and outdoors Georgia has to offer. I cannot say enough about this location and the opportunity to “try before you buy” by renting from Pedego of Alpharetta.

I rented an electric bike for the first time and loved the experience. The rental prices there are very reasonable and Greg was very helpful. There is a Greenway very close by and Greg got me there and explained the trails to me. I rode for about 20 miles and had a blast. Electric bikes are just so much easier than regular bikes and you can maintain a high rate of speed indefinitely without getting tired. The bike ran flawlessly and was easy to operate. I think anyone buying a bike from them will be pleased with the quality of the bike and the service backing it up. It was a very fun day for me and I plan on going back.

Our family of four rented Pedego e-bikes today from Pedego Electric Bikes Alpharetta for 4 hours and had a wonderful time! Eric was very knowledgeable and walked us through all of the features, perfectly fitting our seating. I had also first spoken with Greg, the owner, earlier in the day when I called to to confirm availability and was pleasantly surprised when he picked up the phone nearly a half hour before their opening time at 10am - now THATS someone who is committed to customer service! We rode the Big Creek Greenway roundtrip to its end at Marconi Drive (roughly 15m total) and stopped at First Watch for lunch. I commented to my wife, Who knew there was so much green space in Alpharetta as we enjoyed the wide, paved bike trail throughout as well as several does/fawns that were clearly accustomed to people. Our bikes were step-through, pedal assist with throttle, easy to understand and control. This is our 2nd e-bike experience locally and hands-down I would recommend both the Greenway and Pedego Alpharetta as the way to go. We will definitely be returning with extended friends! I bought my Pedego (Trail Tracker) about 2 years ago and I have received great service from Greg at Pedego Alpharetta maintaining the bike. Its been essential since I like riding on rough terrain. From wire repairs, tire replacements, tightening breaks, and general tune ups ...Greg has done a great and fair job on all :) Most recently had an issue with my battery and Greg facilitated working with Pedego in getting a replacement. We were in town visiting my folks and decided to rent some Pedego e-bikes for the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, from the great service from Greg to the bikes, the training, and the proximity to the Greenway (only a couple hundred yards). Theyve got a great thing going there and I highly recommend visiting for a rental or test ride. Pedego is the best brand in the business!

Excellent electric bike rental experience!! The owner and staff we very knowledgeable and generous. The store is located super close to the Greenway trail but the staff went above and beyond and provided a guided tour down to the trail. The bikes were super easy to operate and soo fun to ride! One of the highlights of our trip!

My Husbend and I bought ski boots and skis from here yesterday. It wasnt the best time of year for selection, but with the help of the incredible help of Elle we both found what we needed. We were grateful to have her expertise and patience to help us. This was our first time there, so cant comment on service of other employees, but hopefully just as good when we return.

I am one of those crazy “we are in Covid, let’s buy a bike” cyclist. I had been in an automobile accident, and my daily driver was a total loss. Due to Covid and often working from home, our family could get by with one car and an electric cargo bike. I went to a couple of bicycle shops (Rosewell/Sandy Springs) in the summer of 2020, where I had to stand in line to get inside due to the demand. I explained what I was looking to do and what I wanted to purchase. A bicycle shop owner in Sandy Springs that sold both traditional and e-cycles recommended that I see Greg at Pedego Alpharetta when I explained I needed support after the sale, not just the sale. I drove directly to Pedego in Alpharetta, walked in, and met Greg. Greg had what I wanted to purchase. I had been shopping online and saw some models of e-bikes that were lower-priced, but being new at this, I wanted to buy from a local shop where I could get service. Pedego of Alpharetta is the answer. I have been back to see Greg twice now since our first meeting. First was a 100 mile preventative check-in, and the second time was for service after an accident. I am thankful that Greg is our local Pedego dealer. He knows his products and how to take care of customers. My opinion of Pedegos is high, but the real treat is Greg, who services what he sells. If you are considering a Pedego, it is worth the trip to Alpharetta to see Greg and, if necessary, wait in line to work with him. Greg stands behind his products and his customers. I would cycle past other dealers to work with Greg and recommend you do too.

Awesome family fun and great place to rent an e-bike! My kids and I wanted to try using e-bikes and experience the Alpharetta greenway. Pedago has first rate bikes and right next to the greenway. One of my kids had a bit of a challenge with getting used to using the e-bike but the overall experience from renting from this business was outstanding. Support local business owners and enjoy a great outdoor activity.

Recently, I purchased a Mid Drive City Commuter. The bike functions well and handles any grade that I have encountered so far. Setting the Pedal assist to 1 (minimum) provides more than enough boost (170 lb operator) to manage any terrain.Pedego bikes are expensive but their lengthy warranty (5 years) is worth part of the extra cost especially since it covers the battery for 2-3 years. The bikes components are well matched for the application. The fit and finish of my bike is excellent.I suggest that one should purchase the Thumb Throttle as it makes using the throttle much more ergonomic. If one plans to add luggage to the bike, I suggest buying Pedego as other generic luggage is difficult to fit precisely to the rear luggage rack because of the battery placement.I have no connection to Pedego other than owning my bike.Edit 10/02/2020I went to Pedego today to have some work done on my bike. They have a new mechanic on staff now and he is superb.

I was initially skeptical of the electric bike idea, but my wife and I gave it a try anyway. Im glad we did. A 2 hour ride on the greenway was a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon with my wife. The river is beautiful and provides cool temps. Also, we got a little exercise and the bikes are easy to ride. Greg was a likeable, but non pressuring salesman. I may end up buying one of these things...

My mom and I came to rent e-bikes and we were not disappointed! The bikes were kept in wonderful condition, they were a smooth ride and the owner, Greg, was incredibly friendly! We rented the bikes for about an hour and we had a fantastic time! We hope to come back soon to rent their bikes again!

We rented three bikes today and it was SOOO much fun. We were scared at first to try it out and now I am sure we will go again. The owner was super sweet and considerate!

My wife has health issues affecting her lower legs and feet. She bought an early electric bike allowing her to climb hills and somewhat keep up with me on my road bike. As time went on I became more concerned with her safety and started investigating electric trikes. Alpharetta Pedego opened. One Saturday, after lunch at the restaurant almost next door, we dropped in not expecting much.There it was! What I believe is the safest, most well built with great components, and best looking electric trike ever. She took it for a long test drive and loved it. Then we went home investigated our initial findings, came back, and bought it that afternoon! The trike has been great, the company ownership has been great, fun bi-weekly shop rides, special events, and super service if necessary! Had we not found this shop we’d still be looking. Pedego electric bikes are incredibly well made and durable! The owners are fun people too!

Went to Pedego about an hour before closing and we still recieved excellent customer service. Mr. Greg was so nice and helpful. He gave us a brief demonstration on the bikes, how they work and the best way to use them, and even rode us down to the belt line. The shop is clean and cute and the trails were brief but very fun to ride. Definitely plan on coming back and having future great experiences.

Who doesn’t like feeling the wind in your face as you ride along a beautiful path looking at nature ? We had a blast riding the Pedego bikes yesterday, for a much longer ride than we would have done on regular bikes ! Greg and Tina make sure you are comfortable with the controls (pretty easy) and off you go ! What a great escape and change of scenery! Highly recommend Pedego at North Point (between Dick’s and Panera) if you are looking for a little break from lockdown !

Greg delivered rental bikes to our home, and we rode them for a week. We enjoyed them so much, and Greg worked with me to test several models after I decided to purchase a Pedego. My Platinum Interceptor is on its way from California.

After a friend of mine convinced me to give ebiking a try, we finally went out this past weekend with the family and rented 4 ebikes and had a blast! It was our first time riding an ebike so we got a very easy tutorial from the owner to get us going. From there we took off on the Big Creek Greenway which was beautiful and fun to ride through. Thanks to the PEDEGO folks for being so helpful. We will definitely be taking advantage of their weekday $25 for 2 hour special very soon. Highly recommended!

Just heard about Electric bikes but never tried one. Pedego is right next to Panera near Dave and Busters in Alpharetta, about a block from the Greenway Bike path. Greg, the owner, gave me a quick lesson on how they work. You really are pedaling the bike, but there is a motor assist to give you a push to keep you going! Sort of like when your Dad gave you an assist when you were learning how to ride! Beautiful day, beautiful scenery, and a fun experience! $25/HR but great fun! We rented two bikes from here and boy was it fun! We were able to go on the Greenway and we took it all the way into Downtown Alpharetta where we were able to stop for ice cream and look at some shops. We then went back into nature and enjoyed being on the Greenway again. I was thinking of how spoiled I will be from now on and how I probably wouldn’t want to ride a bike without the pedal assist if I knew I would be going up any hilly terrain. Honestly, a great day!

After a lot of research, I purchased an E-bike and I’m like a giddy kid again. I’ve ridden 100 miles and noticed my gears were a bit off when shifting.I asked Pedego Alpharetta if I could bring it in and have them look/fix it. Without hesitation, they said bring it in. They adjusted my shifter, tightened my front wheel, added a new shock system to my seat (my idea), made sure I was safe and comfortable with the adjustments.A Special Thank You to Eric who really listened and took his time to make sure everything was adjusted and safe. Thank You to Mark for interesting convo with my husband, and Thank You to Greg for helping me out without hesitation. ***(side note, not their product).I would happily recommend them to ANYONE!
