Not professional at all and down right rude

Everything was taken care of from loan paperwork to retiring my lease car . Was able to “test drive my hero for a FULL DAY . No questions asked. Did. It have to sign my life awayScott Plowman was professional , helpful and available whenever I had a question .

I’m happy with the vehicle and the deal that I received. Speaking with Scott, he made sue the I received the exact Jeep that I was looking for. That included the exterior and interior colors. This is the second time that I purchased from this dealership and I would do so again.

I had an appointment at 9, they didn’t get my car in till after 12. I live an hour away with two little children. They said “the garage was swamped” but when I went in to get my car keys they had several lifts open. My car had minor issues and I feel as if the service men made it seem like I didn’t know what I was talking about the sound my car was making. They said “it’s just the sound of your new car that you’re just not used to yet.” Which is not true, I took my vehicle to Team Hodges in West Branch and they actually fixed the issue. This was all covered under my warranty on my car and they tried charging me for this stuff they didn’t even fix. I will never be coming back to Mclerney Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram of Thunder Bay.

I just stopped by to look at a Renegade. I saw it on the Jeep site & wanted to see if it would be comfortable while I waited to pick up my cat from the vet. And ended up driving this home. They made me an offer I couldnt refuse. I love it & smile every time I see my little Renegade L/Attitude!

Long post but worth the read - hopefully this doesnt happen to you.Made an appointment to have a right sided squeak addressed. Had the left side fixed appx. 2 years ago so was confident it would be a quick, cheap fix. Received a call from the Service Department letting me know that they found multiple issues that needed to be repaired totaling $1,400.00. Was told that it would be 3 to 5 days before a the parts would be in and I would need to make another appointment once the parts were in for the repairs to be made. Went to pick up my vehicle. Received lots of attitude and terrible customer service when I informed them I wanted to think about it & get some other estimates. Was shocked when I was handed my key and a bill for $76.00 for diagnostic services. Paid the bill, had to search in the parking lot for my vehicle and left. Promptly went to another mechanic for an estimate. Was quoted $820.00 for parts & labor. All parts available next day. Made an appointment. Fast forward a week to day of repair appointment. Mechanic called to inform me that NONE of the parts quoted by Thunder Bay Dodge needed to be repaired. NONE. Apparently this is common practice for Thunder Bay Dodge. Fraudulent charges and unnecessary repairs. So happy that I did not go through with the recommended repairs without getting a second opinion. I would have paid $1400.00 for nothing. I will never, ever return. I will travel out of town for a new Chrysler vehicle.

Im a many years Dodge ram fan and had to have the newer body style so I traded in my 17 and bought a 17. Everything went very smoothly during the deal and although Id like to have a brand new ram I LOVE my 2019.

I have had 2 encounters with the dealership this month. Buying an OEM part followed by a PCM reset. Both experiences were positive and professional.

Took car here for the first time and staff at the desk were very rude, unfriendly, which is unfortunate as I drive my car for a living and am seeking a good place for servicing my vehicle long term. Having worked in customer service my whole life I understand the importance of first impressions and front desk assistance. Wont be back or refer anyone here.

I waited over an hour for a scheduled appointment only to be told the service scheduled could not be completed. Upon questioning the man at the service counter, he became argumentative and defiant. Im so disappointed. So much for service after the sale.

Was in getting recall work done staff wasnt very friendly. I had a piece that was dangling under the mirror and asked if that would be covered under bumper to bumper warranty? He said they couldnt determine if it was a faulty part or not so no it wasnt covered. For $5 I was able to get a new one delivered.

Went in for a oil change and tire rotation, the lug nuts they couldnt get off, so after 2hrs, they came and said they were stripped, do they would have to put new ones on, at my expense, which I said they are the ones that do my rotations. So after another hour they came out to tell me I would have to take a loaner,mine still was not ready. So yes Im a little upset.

This is the only jeep dealership that services my jeep anywhere near me and they were trying to tell me a bunch of things that needed done that actually didnt, I was pretty upset with them.. use them at your own risk
