My dad gave me his old 22. It hadnt been cleaned in years and was misfiring. I called, he said to come on down even though he wasnt open. I was told it would be about $20 -$30 to clean but no more than $30. (I had called Bobs Gun Shop and he told me, ...Around $50 for starters. ) He cleaned and fired it and he said it worked fine. Done in about 2 hours and charged me $20. (not taking credit cards at this time). Told me not to dry fire it and leave a cartridge in the chamber because of the pin. (common on old 22s). Talked to him for awhile and said I was retired military. He immediately gave me $5 back; Military discount he said. Great guy, Great service! I WILL go back again.

Dont buy a gun anywhere else until you check with John and Sue at Red Arrow! You wont want to buy elsewhere when you see how competitively priced their guns are and fast shipping/delivery if you have them order something for you. Honesty and professionalism that you wont find from another gun shop in Alpena, not to mention the excellent service and kindness. Give them a chance to earn your business, youll be glad you did.

John does certainly know firearms. Great help with repairs Ive needed in the past and good competitive prices on guns and ammo. Happy to see them open again !
