Rushed down to this store and paid for parking to get something I needed for work this evening. Their and website says it’s open until 6 today Owner/employee is locking the door and says she’s closed at 5:05pm. Extremely irritated.

I went in to the store with a friend and all intentions of shopping. When I asked the person behind the counter if they had a bathroom she responded no, to which I responded thank you. Once I walked away she rudely told another customer “there’s a sign on the door”. I peeked my head out from the aisle we were in and said that I was sorry I did not see the sign. She continued to speak rudely about it even after I apologized. It’s a shame that we went in intending to support a local business and left instead.

Ive been shopping at Garden Gate for more than 10 years now, and have always had a great experience. Whenever I have questions, I get thoughtful responses from the knowledgeable owners. Thanks for keeping such a great store open for so long. Im glad to be able to support a local business!

I love the older woman thats always there shes really nice .. sometimes I come in and they dont even notice.. which is totally okay with me. I like their kale and quinoa burger. Nice selection of items to purchase

I went to this store with my husband and I thought the service was wonderful! As soon as we walked in there Ann (or Anne) was so polite and well informed of all their products. She gave us a little tour of the store and explained the types of products that they carry. I had a lot of questions, and she was able to answer them for us. I had bought some shampoo from there from garden gate, and I love it! I highly recommended this store. I was really surprised how much they carry. Food (wide selection), juices, teas, laundry soap, hair care, fluoride-free tooth paste, henna hair color, cleaning supplies, you name it they have it! I did not see any raw organic milk there but I was told that they can order it. Friendly people, wide selection, well informed employees.

Although I would have given this store a five star rating because I like what she sells. I cant because of my first impression of the level of dishonesty I was met with by one of the clerks. When I first started coming to this store I asked about a specific product the store would likely have. The clerk said We dont have it in stock but you can order it and well have it shipped to us within 3-5 days. I decided not to order that day but attempted another. I then was told No, sorry, we do not ship for that product. I didnt show any signs knowing of her bold face lying. But I just have to express how mistreated I felt when this happened. I hope this behavior of theirs is corrected at some point. By now they should know that their customers are paying attention.

Amazing customer service and a wealth of product and information packed into what appears to be a small store. They handle a very diverse population of customers with ease and charm. Rich and Sally have become great friends.

My husband and I have always been met by friendly folk. Always engage in interesting conversation, especially the gentleman who works there. Im not sure if hes the owner but both he and the lady that are usually there one or the other have always been helpful and very informative. I dont go anywhere else for my needs. Its a quaint little shop and they always have what I need.

This is a locally owned business. Upon entering the shop you are warmly welcomed. Staff are eager to assist you find what you need. Excellent selection of organic products.

I was very happy visiting Garden Gate Natural Foods. I found everything on my list and the prices were very affordable, much cheaper than online. I purchased carob powder, carob chips, organic oat flour, Kelp powder, brewers yeast, nutritional yeast and organic flax seed meal.Im opening an organic & natural pet bakery and boutique inside of Merchants Square Mall May 12, 2017 and its opened Friday, Saturday and Sunday.The name of the business is Kings Canine Cookies.

Really lovely little store i go there every month for my supply of tea and some veggies. they also have many supplements, asian,beauty and fresh food there. the owner was very friendly and just as always i will come back

DO NOT SHOP HERE SHE IS HORRIBLE ! and CRAZY? i mean who is dumb enough to mess with the MOTHER OF AN AUTISTIC CHILDhere is my review im sure she will take it downafter being a client to these people for over 12 years i upset the wife when my autistic son and i showed up to give them money for products and she was going on a power walk, she was very very RUDE snapping at my son for opening up the freezer? saying it was in defrost mode? then when i had him sit in a chair in the back he is 6 ft 2 to get her to stop being annoyed she came very nasty stating that he was in her area ! PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE INTOLERANT TO OTHERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The store itself is very small but despite that there is still a decent selection. They even have some organic produce which sign of the bear does not!The woman working there was very friendly and funny!My only complaints would be to check the dates because I purchased a pack of meatless pepperoni which she told me was sitting in the freezer for a while so she gave me half off.When I got home I realized it expired in 06!It looks ok but Im still not gonna eat it.Also the organic apples I purchased have an odd taste to them, possibly from being refrigerated for too long.

Walked in the door and a woman back was turned to me I politelty said excuse me she turned to me and said I was just finishing an important call ok I didn’t know what the call was about or in reference to I thought as a customer we should be acknowledged from the time we enter the door i asked For the product and she rudely responded with we don’t have it i asked Who’s the manager or owner because she was so rude she proceeded with me I said that explains why because an employee wouldn’t wanna lose their job but being a owner I would expect more terrible customer service I will not be back

Sally is usually there very nice lady. Lately her husband has been there every time I went in . Today I went in from my lunch break to get probiotics, in a drink form reading the instructions on the drink before purchasing. The owner yelled out at me in a very condescending and rude tone that the freezer expense was about $600 a month to run so whatever I needed to get I have to grab it and close the door. I understand mostly I kind of felt he was in a bad mood and taking it out on me . But I had open the freezer for less than a minute. I kind of feel bad if he was in a bad mood or going through a tough time in life. Because previous moments Ive purchased from them before he was very nice. But this time I felt like my entrance or prescence at that moment frustrated him. I decided not to purchase from them and decided to leave wished him a good day ( no argument you know sarcastic tone no threats nothing) just left my items and wanted to remove myself from that environment. At that point he yelled out have a good day, bye! and laughed out very loudly. Loud enough for me to hear him while I was outside of the store. Smh just seemed like a negative experience and environment. Im a grown woman, and I work hard for my money. I treat all people with respect. I treat all living things with respect. Im not referring any more of my friends there it would make me look bad if they experience the same thing. I hope his wife is ok :( because when it comes down to your loved ones not being well I could understand being angry, not taking it out on other people but not feeling well I can understand. On to find a more customer friendly health food store in probably a better area.
