My husband and I always enjoyed going into this place to shop around. Not anymore. My husbands mother just passed away and we had to clean out her room at legends where she was living. I spoke to George from Cottage crafters, had too call him twice before he came to look at her items. We had two dressers in excellent condition and 2 lamps in excellent condition, a old chest full of over 100 records. 100s of cds and a large case, about 50 DVDs in a shelf, over 50 old salt and pepper shakers, a sofa in excellent condition and a chair, old jewelry in a jewelry box and some other odd old items. Right away he lowballed us $50.00 for everything!! But didnt seem interested in anything when he got there, giving excuses that with covid and you need the right people to buy the right things, which is understandable. But $50.00!!!! We know he was taking advantage of us because we needed her things out the room by Sunday, we were mentally exhausted and grieving her loss. He showed no compassion, no consideration for what we were going through. Because we needed to get this done, we finally agreed at $75.00 which he wasnt eager to give, again giving excusesWe are no fools, we know and seen the prices of items in their store. He told us he would call us on Saturday at 10 am. In the meantime l spoke to my friend who works at a flea store in wind gap and gave me the number of this Uncle Chucks furniture store . I called him , he was kind and showed compassion for what we were going through and offered us more money and told us he would take everything! Within hours he came, and took everything!! He was quick and within a hour he was done! He paid twice the amount George offered us and came from Wind Gap. George never called us Saturday at 10 like he said he would, strung us along, very rude! Never again will we shop at Cottage crafters. No compassion or consideration for anyone but themselves.

Found a nice little hutch and a full length mirror. Great price! Nice people to deal with.

Its convenient to drop off items that no longer bring us joy. Hopefully they will bring joy to others and we make some money!

I love this place because it has great finds (and a lot of inventory) at a low price, but one of the older women working is always SO rude to me for no reason! I asked for a pen to borrow to bid on an item and she was so hesitant to give it to me and sternly said “I guess, but you better bring it back.” Then I called to check on said item on Saturday (the information sheet TOLD ME TO CALL) and she was again so rude and pushed me off the phone saying “We’re sending out emails I’ll get to it”. How is it so hard to just be pleasant? Ugh.

Absolutely love all the crafts and antiques in this place. I can only give it three stars though. The whole experience was spoiled when the green haired clerk checked me out. No thank you, no have a nice day, just mumbles and grumbles for having to actually do their job.

Love this place, except for their rewards program. A stamp should be given for every $20.00, not one stamp per $100.00 or any amount over 20. One stamps should be given for each 20---only fair.

Has some cool stuff among some iffy stuff. All in all, worth a visit.

I tried calling to see if I won anything at auction, even though they are still open for another 45 min. They said I have to call back at 10 am. I work nights... Ill be sleeping at 10 am. Not very friendly.

This is one large space that has two sections for shopping----Vendors rent the numerous booths and sell their items from there. One side of the store has LOCAL hand made arts and crafts and other things that are not hand made locally, but are more like interesting home goods and decorations. The other side has vintage and antique items.They have everything from doll clothes to furniture to infinity scarves to flags. This is a great place to shop for a gift as there are so many different choices. They even have hand made chocolates and hard to find vintage items of all sorts. Inventory changes daily.There is also an auction that happens every month, which is very fun and you can get some good deals or sell something of your own there.The people that work there are very nice and always willing to help.The only thing I would like to see change is that more of the craft side was actually hand made by local people. I looked at some of the country type items and found many with tags that said Made in China. Other than that, it is a really fun place to lose yourself in while shopping!

My wife and I Fell in love with Cottage Crafters; well she did right away it over time grew on me; and before you know it we finally took the leap and open up a stand...So as of April 13; are 1st stand is opened in the General store; that area sits in the middle of the store itself. We also have a stand in the general vicinity of the front of the store. SO PLEASE STOP IN AND SEE ALL THE OTHER BUSINESS OWNERS STANDS AND MOST OF ALL; ARE STUNNING STAND MY WIFE HAS WORKED HARD AT PUTTING TOGETHER AND ALSO PERSONALLY HANDCRAFTED MOST OF WHAT WE SELL IN OUR STAND.STILL WE HAVE SO STOCK ITEMS AS WELL...THANKS HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE AND MOST OF ALL COME TO BUY SOMETHING THAT YOU WILL ENJOY DECORATING YOUR HOUSE; APT; ETC. IN YEARS TO COME...

Awesome store! lots of treasures to be found and the prices are great! New owners took over in April 2016 and the place has a beautiful, fresh look! Much more organized, cleaner and easier to shop. Be prepared to spend AT LEAST an hour in there looking at all the unique items for sale!

Love to browse at this place, always lots to see. Today wanted to browse and an older woman who was working followed us around, speaking LOUDLY and offering her opinions on things. If I needed help, I would have searched for help. It was annoying and caused me to cut my visit short.

Hidden gem!!! Tons of antiques and collectables. They have everything from jewelry to old tools and homemade crafts in between. They also hold auctions which is great if you are looking for that one of a kind item at a fair price! Definitely worth stopping in!!!

One of my favorite places to go for amazing prices on antiques, primitive finds, and hand-crafted goodies. Sometimes I love just being able to take a stroll through the store for the ambiance. The displays really make you feel like youre walking back in time!

Neat little indoor consignment market. Very cool things and the staff are really nice. Theres a lot of really cool things to look at and a good range of items to purchase.

The store is divided into three sections -- antiques, silent auction and crafts. The antiques section is pretty nice, with a variety of dealers offering everything from miniature figurinesd to furniture. The crafts section offers the typical items. The auction is less interesting to me, having visited from out of town. The auctions did not end until a week later, by which time I was gone. So there would be no sense in bidding. If youre local, this might be a fun way to buy. However, for an out-of-town visitor, it has no appeal because you cant really participate.

Such a unique store attached to the restaurant. However, you have to be very cautious going between rows of items. Theres very little room. Enjoyed a nice meal.

This place is really something....They offer something for everyone and if you ever want to find a gift thats different this is the place! Your eyes cant take it all in there is do much to see! 😄

This place has gone down hill. Constantly changing the rules on bid boards. Upping fees on both sellers and buyers.When picking up items won, they change the description of the tags on items to read damaged when it was Not damaged initially. I have photos to prove it.Antique vendors and craft vendors are leaving in droves. Most likely will be out of business soon.

Truly a hidden gem. I initially thought it was a store for Crafters until I noticed the small Antiques sign in the window. This business cleans out estates etc and sells the items here. LOTS to look at!

I went to this store for the first time a few weeks ago and at first I really liked it...until I had two experiences that left a very bitter taste in my mouth and as I result I will not return.At the beginning of November I noticed a beautiful ceramic Christmas tree that was part of the stores silent auction which I decided I was going to bid on. I waited until the last week of bidding to place my bid to avoid driving up the price. I called one day at 9:45am to place a bid. The phone was answered by a woman who said Good Morning, Cottage Crafters. I proceeded to state my name and the purpose of my phone call; however, before I could complete my sentence, I was rudely interrupted and asked to call back after 10am because they werent open yet. If you werent open yet, why would you answer the phone? I was so taken aback, I simply hung up the phone.At the end of that week, I went to the store on Saturday and it was the day that the bidding was going to be closing. When I walked into the store, I asked an employee if the bidding had closed yet; the young lady told me that some areas were starting to close but that there were a few open yet. Fearing that I might have missed my opportunity, I quickly walked back to locate the tree. When I finally located it, it was among other items that were part of the auction. I could see that other areas had been taped off and assumed that those areas were closed for bidding already. However, the area where the tree was had no tape and no other signage indicating that the bidding had closed on that area. I wrote my bid on the paper walked around the store with my friend and then headed back to the tree. When we got back, there was yellow tape around the area that the tree was located. I asked a employee nearby if that meant the bidding had closed and she said yes. I looked at the paper on the tree and saw that my bid was the last and was excited because I had won.When I returned the following week to pick up my item, the girl behind the counter said that there was a note that her manager wanted to call me. She phone the manager and put me on the phone with him. He proceeded to ask me questions about what the area looked like when I placed my bid, who was around when I placed my bid and when I placed my bid. After several of his questions, I began to wonder if I had done something wrong. According to the manager, Guy, there was an older couple who felt that they had won the tree because theres was the last bid and the manager also told me that when he had counted down on the closing of that area, he knew for a fact that the couple was standing there when the bidding closed. I told him when I walked up to bid on the item, there was nothing indicating the bidding had ended. He simply said that maybe they need to change when they put the tape up, but that the older couple were the last ones to bid and they had won.So, not only did I not win, but the manager never called me until I showed up at the store (1 week after the auction closed) and he also insinuated that I must have done my bidding in a shady fashion because my bid showed up after this couples bid and since he was there and saw this couple then obviously I MUST be wrong.The staff at this store were rude, inconsiderate and did not do a very good job of communicating with me about the issue with the auction in advance. After these two experiences, the latter being the most disappointing, I will not be returning to this store and if I could, I would return the items that Ive already bought there. Dont waste your time in this place unless you like being treated as an inconvenience to their day.

This multi reseller antique / silent auction center has many unique items. The silent auctions are the thing ( 3rd Saturday of the month ). You can always find unusual items at the auction from rare coins, military, China and furniture. Its quite a spectacle with a couple hundred bidder milling about at the last moments protecting their bids. Its its eBay, with people!Regrettably the new ownership has papered the place with obnoxious signage, and some snarky little rules and regulations that depart form the original owners more lax, friendly demeanor. The parochial school aspect of which is offputting to those who do play by the rules. But overall the bidding experience is improved via letting all bids stand. Previously there was a hard stop to bidding, but now all bids are taken. Which is good for sellers and for buyers as it eliminates eBay style sniping.

Nice place to spend an afternoon browsing a huge variety of items at reasonable prices.

Great place with beautiful, fun and quirky items from crafters and antiques dealers. You can wander for hours. Staff and crafters on duty are helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

I walked in this place on a Saturday, and all the silent auction thing was new to me, but I tried it out. The end result is that I bid on something that wasnt up for auction this month, but next. But it is just a chair and a $2 bid, and I still want it, and I live nearby, so Im willing to wait. No problems.I bid on a handful of other things and ended up getting:2 end tables from the 50s or 60s in VERY good condition for $82 oak caned-seat, carved-back chairs for $6beveled glass etched about 20 x 30 for $1060s gorgeous round upholstered wood chair for $16dainty old rocker with original upholstery for $7When I went to pick these things up, a gentleman who worked there was kind enough to help me load them in my car. I couldnt believe it.I will be going back.
