Love the Batch Bites. I served them at a tea and they were a huge hit. Brie took the order over the phone and made it so easy.Went into the Allen location last week and ordered the key lime. Hubby loved it and believe me he is a key lime connoisseur. Again Brie helped with the purchase. Can’t wait for the pumpkin goodies. Will definitely be back!

I LOVE this place! The best gift spot too! The pecan, the lemon, the peach the cookies all of it so delicious. You can even grab ice cream & milk while you are there. Locally owned by an amazing couple who really cares. This location has been a blessing to its community thru its outreach efforts & that is one of the many reasons if I want sweet I got to BATCH😘

Three words describe Batch Bakery.Those Three Words would be, So Darn Good. To be transparent, I prefer cake over pie, however Batch Bakery somehow found away to marriage them. Flaky, and moist with just the right balance of sweetness. I ordered the personal size Strawberry Pie. Now that I finished it, I wish I ordered a full size:) Batch Bakery certainly deserves all 5 Stars.

This is some of the best pie I’ve ever had! When I stopped by today the apple pie was still warm. It was very delicious! I also love that there are always samples to try.

We love the mini pies here! They are a great little treat, and so tasty. We ordered a large apple pie recently that was absolute heaven. It had just the right ratio of apple to crust; scrumptious, crunchy streusel crumble on top; and the shortbread crust is good enough to eat by itself.

Love the pies! If I could have one thing change that would be the sweetness, a tad bit too sweet for me but still a great treat here and there. Love the coconut and the key lime but honestly all are great 😉The service is always great and I love the fact that I am not pushed into having to tip or sign a receipt. Amazing how something as simple as that (and the great pies) makes this a great experience.

We encountered Batch bakery during thanksgiving last year. We had the pecan chocolate pie .It was a gift from my neighbor. We try it and immediately my whole family love it. It was so good that we purchase for my neighbors during Christmas period. From that time we almost had it every month. But recently, about 1-2 two month ago. We start to feel there is a different in the pie. It tasted sweeter than we had. Last month we though it was just an accident sweet. Yesterday we bought 3 pies for my neighbor and ourselves. It was crazily disappointed sweet again. Even my neighbor mention that too. I was pretty embarrassed. I not sure what had happened to Batch. I hope they can change back their old recipe. For now, I most probably will not purchase anytime soon.

The coconut cream pie was so sweet. A pie shouldnt be so sweet that you can barely taste the coconut in the pie. I dont know if its truly homemade but not a fan. I will have to drive 47 minutes to Judy pies next time .

I was enticed in by a free sample of peanut butter pie, which is a creamy peanut butter filling resting on a chocolate crust.However, I decided to go with the key lime. This was a good decision. Graham cracker crust topped with perfectly tangy-sweet key lime filling finished with whipped cream.They offer full size 9 inch pies and individual 4 inch.

Lived in Miami almost my entire life and key lime pie was a staple. This is the closest Ive had to Key West. Legit great key lime.

Not sure how anyone could say something negative about this place. I ordered a pecan pie for my husbands birthday this past weekend. I had picked up dinner from Torchys Tacos next door several months earlier. This pie place had someone standing outside handing out samples! I tried one and it was so good, I believe it was a sample of the peanut butter pie but I could be wrong. Either way super tasty and flavorful. I knew this was the perfect place to get hubbys pie.It was super easy to place the order and pick it up. He can be pretty picky about his pie. Honestly I can too as Im not a pie fan. Ill eat it but I never tend to enjoy it. Yet we both devoured the huge pie in like 3 days it was THAT good!! The consistency wasnt too runny as a lot of pecan pies are. It was just perfect and had the best taste. We both agreed it was the best pie either of us have ever had. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back, hopefully very soon!!

If I could leave infinite stars I would. The best pies ever ! The flavor is phenomenal. I purchased the apple pie and I fell in love with the sweetness, and smoothness of the filling. And don’t even get me started on the crust !!! Flavors go prefect together. Recommend 10/10!

My husband surprised me with the gluten free key lime pie and I have to say it’s the best pie we ever had! I’m so sad there’s only one slice left haha but happy we can go back and hopefully get it again!

Im a pie guy. Sure, cake is nice, but that typical sponge is a dime-a-dozen. I think the real challenge comes when trying to balance finicky pastry dough with its endless tender/flaky challenge against the dampness of filling and have the whole thing last at least a few days—because the other reason pie is better than cake is that you can have it for breakfast with far less guilt. Buttermilk Sky hit the mark quite well each and every time! Their original Southern Custard comes across just sweet enough, just creamy enough, without feeling cloying or heavy. The Chocolate Cream is decadent enough to make a succubus blush. The Key Limes tartness makes your mouth pucker in just the right way. And while you might want to go face-first into the Coconut Cream, its also just fine by the slice. I cant go five stars, though, because I do have to fault the crust; the Oreo, graham cracker, and shortbread crusts are fine, but the true challenge of pie—that finicky pastry-like pie crust—is still a bit off. Tender, yes; flakey, no; and flavorful, not really. Its kind of pale and lacking. I think Ill stick to making pie crust at home.Sadly, Buttermilk Sky has just closed up shop at this location in Allen (as of late April 2020). But that doesnt mean the doors are locked. In fact, it looks like a new name is already in the works, Batch Bakery, with the promise of better implementations of the current pie line-up and newer pies to boot. I look forward to trying out these creations and reviewing them under their new listing!

I got a key lime pie and a coconut cream pie. Both were disappointing.For key lime, the star should be the lime, not sugar. The Graham cracker crust was good and it looked pretty, but its diabetes on a plate, with a hint of lime.The coconut cream pie was 2/3 meringue, or more exactly, what they want you to think is meringue. Unlike the light, fluffy meringue that caps every other pie, this is a thick, artificial whipped cream-like substance that is overwhelmingly sweet. Another serving of diabetes, please!If youre a fan of sugar, this is your place.

My husband had a pie craving to off to Batch we went. We ordered the chocolate cream, pecan chocolate and chess pie. My family raved about the two chocolate versions but I was not impressed with the chess pie, it was very doughy and lacked sweetness. I will go back to try the other flavors but the chess was definitely a miss.

Ohhh my gosh first off the customer service is amazing as I stopped in one day before getting my nails done and they were out of apple pie but honored me one on my next visit and it was the best thing ever . Love the cinnamon crust on top to the perfect apples and flaky crust . I ordered two more via favor from their frisco store closer to my house 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Ughh can’t get enough of those apple pies 🥧

Decided to order some of the 4 inch pies for my bosses bday. We had the pies delivered and everyone in the office is raving about how amazing these taste. We ordered Apple, Key Lime, Coconut Cream, and Chocolate Cream. They are all great. I highly recommend picking these up next time you need a pie.

This is the first to-go food we have tried since the beginning of March! Apparently its a completely different shop than the buttermilk pie shop, but they were still kind enough to honor a coupon I recieved in the mail. My husband got a key-lime, and I got the peanut butter. Both were perfectly portioned, tasty, with a flaky crust and utterly delicious. Its going to be dangerous having these so close to home.

I don’t know any details, but this is no longer a Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop franchise. While the staff is great and the pies are good, to be crystal-clear, these are NOT the same pie recipes (i.e., not the same subjective taste). If you’re not picky and want a good pie, then this is a great place to go. Otherwise, don’t disappoint yourself into thinking it’s the same legacy pie because it is not. 5-8-2020.

Tried a selection of their pies several months ago. I was extremely disappointed! I honestly cannot see what the fuss is about. I admit the apple crumble pie is pretty good, but that’s as far as it goes. The rest are nothing special.Yesterday I thought, I would try them out again as they have a new flavor of cherry pie out this month. Just eating it now. A huge disappointment. The cherry is neither tart nor sweet. It does not even taste like cherry. I figured out what it is I do not like about their pies. It’s because they have a soggy bottom underneath their pie!!! They are not cooked properly at all.I have heard about Emporium Pies. I think I will try their pies in the future.My conclusion is, that if you like soggy underdone and subtle pies thenButtermilk Sky Pie Shop is for you!

My 2 favorite pie places are emporium pies and buttermilk sky pies. Their selection of pies are slightly different and so is their price point.When compared head to head, buttermilk sky flavors are comparable but offers tremendous value compared with emporium. So for that reason, buttermilk sky pies is my go to spot for pies in Collin County.This particular location has the friendliest employees by far of the several buttermilk sky locations I’ve visited.

The Key Lime Pie was, in my opinion, the BEST Ive had! I do not generally like Key Lime, as it tends to be too tart causing a bit of a metallic taste. But this pie, along with the graham cracker crust, was divine. Smooth and creamy and the perfect size for not sharing! 😉Leah, the owner, was friendly, warm and welcoming! She seems passionate about her craft and that goes a long way when running a small business. Best of luck to this budding business! Well be back!

This pie you guys! I cannot say enough good things about these pies. I swear theyre heaven sent. I was at the sprint store next door when the sales rep got me a sample of their pie and oh my goodness I was FLOORED! I havent had pie this good in years, I cant wait to see what holiday pies they have for Halloween (PUMPKIN PLEASE!), Thanksgiving (SWEET POTATO HOPEFULLY), and of course Christmas. This is definitely going to be a place I visit often, and will be taking these pies for all the family reunions and events.

Some friends brought over an assortment of the 4” pies to our house and my goodness every pie is absolutely delicious! It is hard to find good pies and these are superb. Each bite is better than the last. I’ve seen the shop but never stopped in now I will be craving it.

Staff is very nice. Frisco location gave me a key lime pie instead of their special the I-40 pie (easily their most delicious pie in my opinion), but I didnt notice until I got home I was in the Frisco area running errands, but live closer to Allen location. Donny, at the Allen location, was happy to fix Friscos mistake for me even though the shops are separate entities and are run by different owners. More places need to be like this, with down to earth, kind, and friendly staff!!

Love this little pie shop! They have regular size pies and small pies in all the flavors. I think the best pie is the Chocolate Pie. No ordinary chocolate pie, it is a chocolate mousse pie with a chocolate crust. Oh my, so decadent! The key lime is great also! They have pies ready to pick up , so go by and check them out!

Went today for the first time and we loved it! We got a mini chocolate cream pie and a mini I-40 pie. Both were phenomenal. I was surprised at how cheap they were... Only about $8 for 2 little pies. The staff was so sweet and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I finally tried their cherry pie...very disappointing! The crust was mealy, soft, soggy...I can’t find the right word but it wasn’t crusty at all. I won’t be going back.

Buttermilk Sky Pie in Allen is wonderful! We had the key lime and apple mini pies and they were delicious! The service was friendly, and there are all different fun sizes of pies and flavors for many occasions. And it’s locally owned which is always a bonus!

This pie was SO good! So far Ive tried the peach and coconut cream but will definitely be back to try to rest! I met the owner while in there and she was so nice, you dont really get a lot of that these days in a store.

Coconut cream pie tasted as good as my mothers. This is truly a blast from the past. It will take you home.

We did a pie sampler for Easter and everyone had a favorite. They were all fantastic. Personally I liked the key lime best but my sister picked the I-40 and my husband liked the coconut cream.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The day they opened I was in the store grabbing some pie and then went back 3x later that week.. I was a little addicted. The I-30 and Peanut Butter pie are AMAZING. Go check them out and try a sample. The staff and owners are very friendly.

I have tried 3× with 4 different items 1st 2 times it was just ok went today pies were dry kids wouldnt eat them. So I will return them Got new but when the crust is thicker than the filling not worth the $5 Ill never go back I can get pies at Wal-Mart for .99 or Kroger that taste way better. Nice place friendly staff but no more dry pies for me!!

The chocolate chess and I-40 are absolutely amazing. I haven’t had pies this great in a long time. The shortbread crust is really unique.
