I found my go to Boba place!! Yay!Loved their pineapple coconut smoothie. This one is special and delicious not like other places Ive tried. Loved spending my money here. Place smelled clean like they just mopped. Employees were friendly 🤗

Hello Boba has been my go-to boba place for almost 3 years. I have never written a review for them but I think it was overdue. The owner is very kind and so are the workers, who I have now gotten to know way better from becoming a regular customer. This place is great for experimenting with different fruit combinations for bubble tea. Even the flavors that are not as popular, such as grapefruit, are good and is personally one of my go-tos. Definitely give this place a try as they have a great variety and are Black owned!!!

Was going to target so swung by to pick up a boba. First impressions when walking in and seeing menu - definitely geared towards Americans, not authentic. I got classic milk tea. Meh. Bobas were stuck together and drink was not that flavorful.All the fruity non milk tea drinks that people were getting looked nice tho so perhaps come here for those but wouldn’t come back for milk tea.

My friends and I arrived at Hello Boba 30 minutes prior to closing time. As we entered, we noticed the two workers at the counter display visible annoyance.Despite this, we attempted to purchase some boba milk tea; unfortunately, one worker loudly exclaimed that they were out of boba in a rude manner.I understand that food service locations sometimes run out of supply. However, the manner in which my friends and I were received, from the roll of the head and eyes to flippant dismissal of our requests is intolerable.

Please learn the correct way to do a dirty Thai tea… I’ve had them before at several other boba places and this was by far the WORST. Bitter and stale tasting, nothing like the other places I’ve had it at. Literally zero sweetness, no ice, and they are stingy on the boba… I won’t be coming back and I recommend saving your money and not going there either

Very disappointing! The boba was all stuck together and impossible to get it into the straw. I couldn’t customize the sweetness level without also losing flavor (like the lemon flavor in my green tea wasn’t fresh lemon, it was a syrup of some kind)...Really disappointing! Will not go back.

We love this place for boba! We tried it on a whim and have loved coming here often. My only complaint is that we have tried the drive thru twice now and each time no one comes and says anything I’ll sit for 5 minutes and nothing happens. Super frustrating when I can’t get out of the car because of sleeping kids.

Have been here in person & pick up through delivery service during Covid. We have tried a number of drinks ( 3 daughters) and have always found something for everyones taste buds and everything has been delicious! Love 💕 the horchata and cafe su da (Vietnamese coffee), and thai tea are favorites.Great ability to customize drinks in terms of add ins, and they have popping bobas and jelly vs only tapioca balls.Even better, local business. Happy I don’t have to drive to Plano for my favorite drinks!

Never been there, never will be…was walking to open the door when an employee literally locked the door on me and shutoff the open sign. So many places to choose from in the area; you should ramp up your customer service skills.

Everything Ive tried here is delicious!

I was in the area and wanted to try something that wasn’t a big chain like sharetea. Came across this and was super excited to try it, and I have to say, it EXCEEDED my expectations. The owners were very nice and had great customer service skills. The decor is very nice, there’s a small kid section in the back, some books, a small speaker playing pop music, and they even have a tv where the kids can even play games! Ordered my drink and came out in about 1-2 mins. I ordered a Allen Eagle Eyes and a Pineapple chiller. They both were amazing and not overly sweet or under sweet. My Allen Eagle Eye had 4 toppings and only cost $4.25! That’s a lot cheaper then any other place I’ve ever been too.Tip: boba is “always free” so get it! Boba is made fresh and perfectly chewy and sweet.They asked me if I wanted boba so I said yes, didn’t know it was free! A smoothie with boba and a tea with 4 toppings for $9 something, cheap if you asked me. Definitely recommend everyone give this place a try! I’ll be back soon

This place had some of the features that new independent bubble tea places have now: video games, board games, etc. The staff was nice. The inside of the place was weirdly humid (?) and Really hot. As for the actual boba: I was disappointed. I have been to dozens of unique boba places across DFW (which primarily tend to be centered around the Richardson/Plano area) and Hello Boba is near the bottom of that list. The boba was hard not chewy and soft. Flavors were okay. Options kind of overpriced. With tough competition further down Central Expressway, Hello Boba should focus on quality going forward.

Two month update: wow. We loved this place. I know they opened a new location and all but the Allen location is going down hill FAST. The girl at the counter is slow and doesn’t multitask well and we waited nearly 25 mins for ONE drink. There was another young man just standing around getting in her way and talking to her. I would not assume he is an employee if he wasn’t BEHIND the counter. He did not help her. Did not take orders. I always bring my kids here but sad to say our dinner got cold waiting in the car for one drink today! Disappointed would be an understatement. There are other options nearby.Another update: 38 minutes for ONE drink! Will not be back until they do something about this! I had sandwiches in the car that are now soggy! What a waste!Yummy and friendly!

I went here about a week ago and I was looking for a new boba place because we had moved and never found a good place until now and I love it it definitely worth going back

This was really good! My tea (Strawberry green tea with strawberry popping boba) was very well made. It was really fast, came out about a minute or two after I ordered it. The atmosphere is amazing. There are both hot and cold drinks, and you can build your own boba. Definitely coming back!

We have been away from bobas and any kind of drinks from outside since the time of pandemic. After a long time want to get something good for my kids and wife. Hello boba was on the way to home. Lychee green tea that I got for my wife was really tasty. Boba Milk tea was upto expectation. Passion Mango smoothie was good as well except that it was too cold. Will visit again.

My teenage daughter loves this place. We were driving to Richardson for Boba. She’s lactose intolerant- so having a shake or smoothie from a burger place isn’t practical. She discovered they will make them with coconut milk here. I don’t mind stopping because they are so nice.We need to support our local small business !

Awesome locally owned boba shop with a wide variety of drinks. Try the macaroon ice cream sandwich, it’s the bomb. Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is comfortable and clean, and the drinks are all on point. Highly recommend!!!

Just found this place and LOVE it! My kids got mango smoothies and I got a hazelnut mocha with honey boba. They were perfection, especially on a hot Texas afternoon. I only wish we had found them before covid, because the shop has an awesome vibe and seems like a super great place to hangout. We will definitely be back!

I went there for the first time last Friday with little my girls and and it was awesome! We loved the macaroon ice cream sandwiches also. This place is a gem. We might make it a weekly tradition.

Great place to hang out. The drinks are good at a good price. They just added a new sofa were you and a friend can play a little match of Nintendo switch. (They have 2 consoles) in case ones taken out of you go with the kids they can stay on the back of the restaurant. In the future if like to see them adding some exotic (Asian) pastries.

Best price/value. You can create your own or select from their specialty teas and drinks. I got the Superstar (passion fruit & mango) and the tea itself was very fragrant and well balanced. The bits of mango however tasted like the freezer, so I would probably ask them to leave it out next time.Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely return to test out more of their drinks!

One of my favorite Boba locations! The prices are reasonable for such complex flavors, the customer service was terrific and the cozy atmosphere topped off my wonderful experience.Would HIGHLY recommend others to come and enjoy what I experienced as well.

After taking 5 minutes to acknowledge me at the counter the woman taking orders made sure to let me know there is a significant wait because there are people waiting for drinks. I totally understand but it doesn’t take long enough to make a tea to go to constitute turning folks away.

Impressed with this tea shop. The owner was very friendly and even offered me a sample since I had never tried Taro tea before and wasnt sure if I wanted to buy it. It tasted great so I decided to buy the tea. This is a newly opened shop, but I think it has a bright future with their cheery owners!

The drinks we have gotten have been fabulous.

Everything I have tried here is great, their fruity teas arent too sweet and their boba are nice and chewy. My favorite, and the one thing that made me go try them in the first place, is the Vietnamese iced coffee with coconut milk. I swear its better than with condensed milk! Since I started being unable to have dairy, that was one of the things I missed most, it was a weekly treat. So thank you Hello Boba, for making one of my favorite treats drinkable again!!

The drinks here are really good. I feel like they know how to balance out the flavor of the drink so it doesnt taste like milky sugar water. The taro and milk tea taste amazing.

This is my favorite boba / bubble tea place and I have been to several. I seek them out every time Im in another city to try them out. I even have one down the street from me in my city, but I still go all the way here. The owners are very sweet and they always remember me and give suggestions. My favorites are the Dirty Milk Tea, Dirty Thai Tea, My Sweetheart with cute little heart jellies, Allen Eagles Eyes, Rose of Texas, Honey Green Tea, and the Mango Coconut Milk Tea - always with the yummy honey boba, which is free - a nice added bonus that Ive never see anywhere else. I definitely recommend Hello Boba!

Not great at all... Staff had no knowledge of the menu or how to make some drinks.They were also very unfriendly and seemed like they hated being there along with being alive. Entire place was very dirty and gross looking, along with the bad lighting, made me not want to ever come back. However, the tea that they actually knew how to make that I got was pretty decent. Still wouldn’t plan on returning.

This place is so adorable. Customer service is fantastic, the owner talks you through any menu items and helps you make a drink you will love. Ive been here several times and I can tell you that everything Ive had is amazing. The smoothies are made with real fruit and taste wonderful with the free honey boba.Up until yesterday Ive only gotten green tea with boba and smoothies because any time Ive tried the flavors at other shops I get horribly sick because of the artificial sugars making it super sweet. I got the Rose of Texas (I think thats what its called) and he made it half as sweet. I was able to drink it all without any headaches or stomach pain and it tasted amazing!To add to the atmosphere, theres a boardgames corner, a switch, books for kids and a corner for them to play. It really is a place to hang out and I cant wait to bring my boyfriend here and challenge him to Mario cart!

This place is just ok. It’s convenient for me so I go here sometimes when I’m really craving boba and don’t want to drive far to get some. But I’ll stick primarily with boba latte or fat straws. Their boba just doesn’t hit par for me. It’s missing the genuine taste. They need to change up the way they make their drinks or something, fat straws is still the best.

I come here more often than I should, and lets just say me and family/friends have a great time. Theres games and nice seating inside for everyone. The costumer service is ok. It honestly depends who you get. Sometimes people are there for the money rather than the work, It happens but oh well. The food and drinks they offer here are amazing! I love the different combos. My personal favorites are sweet black tea with mango popping boba, and honeydew tea with lychee popping boba and brown sugar tapioca pearls. Overall, Its a great place 10/10 recommend to anyone.

Clear menu. Delicious Boba. Nice seating area. Friendly service. I had Taro milk with strawberry popping Boba and it totally hit the spot. My friend got raspberry flavored black tea with lychee popping Boba, which I tasted, and it is the bomb!! Next time I want to try the lychee explosion.
