I shop in the Alhambra Albertsons once a week. Great experience till this morning at the deli section. One bad apple ruined the fantastic reputation built by the entire team.She ignored me while she saw me waiting patiently. Instead, she kept servicing customers walked up to the counter after me. I was thinking: does she want to tell me to go to another grocers instead?Rest of the crew witnessed the encounter and Ana stepped up and helped me. There was a good shepherd.

Good place to shop. has a Starbucks. please be kind to the employees there; theyre a satellite facility and can only do so much at a time. other than that, got my milk n Im off to home.

The first problem all there motorized scooters were dead. I have a broken foot which makes it difficult move around and I had a item to return. The first lady told me another lady will be right with you and she took off another lady came to the back and then she starts helping another worker and I told her I was here first and I need it elevate my foot because I was moving around so much and I wasnt able to use a scooter. She told me she was off the clock and she cant help me and then goes and continues to help the other worker there. Then a couple minutes later another lady came and helped me and she was wonderful but workers should make sure the scooters are charged for people that need them and to have a better customer service to not be behind in the customer service area if you are off the clock and helping other Associates you work with.

The chicken here almost tasted like the other Albertsons I went to my family loves it only -1 star for their cashier line

I buy most of groceries here. Meats are excellent. Have been a customer since I moved to Alhambra 12 years ago.

Visited August 19th at 5:30pmI had made a specialized order from this location specifically because it was closer then the Arcadia location. I have been a loyal Albertson customer since I was a child. My aunt worked for the bakery in Northridge and ever since then I only order my cakes from Albertsons. However, during this order that was placed in the bakery, I am very disappointed. Once I have arrived, I went straight to the bakery, only one person working in the bakery department but was originally working in the meat/deli department. She had asked if we are here for pick up and I stated yes. She went to grab my cake and with one hand holding, the associate asked have we paid for it yet. I told her no, which I found odd because at other Albertsons locations they allow you to view the cake first and hand you the cake tonpay up front im check out. I didnt mind to pay at first because I know what I was getting because of previous purchases I made at other albertsons location. I guided my way to check out, paid for my cake which was $18.99, once I arrived back at the bakery section, I had to wait again due to the associate helping someone with an order. Once she was done, she came over with my cake, I don’t like to complain, however, when I recieved my cake, the frosting was pushed off to the lid as you can see in the picture I have attached. Literally the cake was ruined on the side and I told the associate I paid $18.99 for a ruined cake. Why is it messed up, she responded, I just put the lid on and her hands up like this emijo 🤷‍♀️. She said if i wamt to speak to manger go to the front. She did not page one for me, I had to find another associate to call for a manager that worked in the floral section and the liquor manager had passed by as well. They paged another manager i belivee his name is mike. I was told by the associate that there is no one to fix it, and that i should pick out a cake thats made and that i can that cake home along with my messed order and a refund. However when mike showed up, he said i had to leave my messed up cake for proof and only be accredited 10 dollars when i paid 18.99 and i jad to chose a cake that i did not want. I was upset due to the fact it was for event placed that day and special order and I could not get it fixed or redone. I still took home the messed up cake due to the fact i had to special request it and had to fix it when i got home to the best my ability because when lid came off so did the whole side of frosting where you can see the actual layer of vanilla cake. They refunded my money, but still i am not satisfied because it was not my fault but there own and should have gave me another cake for my troubles or something due to the fact that it was a huge inconvenience for me and husband for our sons birthday party. I was told to call the bakery Manager Veronica, the following day so they can work something out. I called Friday and Saturday at 1pm, and the associate who answer says to me both days that she is not in. It was very inconvenient and upsetting. I would not recommend ordering your cakes here due to the fact after 3pm no one can fix it and expect you to pay for a messed up cake before even seeing it or fixing it. I rather drive 3 more miles to the Arcadia location, or in the sam fernando valley area where they cakes are never messed up and allow you to see your cake to assure everything is correct. This is not the first time it happened that day neither, they had did it to previous customer as well. So i highly recommend ordering at another albertsons location.

This Albertsons is pretty solid. Decent selection and… I don’t know, I’m struggling, it’s exactly like every grocery store you’ve ever been in.

Prices are higher than anywhere else. I eill only stop if I just need one or twonitems.

I went yesterday to grab one item. When I got to the register the cashier was wearing one of those lace masks. She also kept pulling it over her nose like it was doing anything. It made me super uncomfortable especially with the times were living in. Those masks dont do anything to help stop the spread of covid.Please make your employees wear the correct PPE when working with customers.

This store is amazingly clean, organized, and excellent customer service,,,, but I was looking for pig feet for pozole and I totally forget is not Latino market. But I appreciate the assistance and information...

Somewhat upscale grocery store, good produce, meat, and deli selections. Nice bakery and prepared foods too. They even have dry ice.

Find what I need and more.Lines go quickly. Cashiers are friendly and no problems with parking.

Good selection an great employees always ready to help with anything you need an they have no problem showing you exactly in the store the item your looking for is. They dont just tell you an isle the actually bring you to where it is. If it happens to be out of stock, they will have no problem going to the back to look for whatever you need. I have been to many grocery stores an this one here is by far my favorite just for the fact that the employees are super helpful an they always have exactly what im looking for hands down the best I can think of. Thats the only reason why Im leaving this giant message. All in all a great place

I decided to use Albertsons Alhambra CA to buy groceries since it was very close to Costco where I filled my pick up tank with gas. I forgot my debit card in my pick up and asked the clerk if it was ok to pay with a check. He said yes. I decided to pay $100.00 in cash and the balance of $54.32 with my check. The clerk passed my check thru a small machine and my check was denied.😡😡😡. I’m an Alhambra home owner and have lived here for several years. Not coming back to any Albertsons at all. Ralph’s has better service.

Cashiers are always limited I do self checkout just know what youre doing or youll be there for a minute everythings always fresh I just think people need to smile more

I’m upset. I witnessed a manager yelling and mocking an employee. He started yelling at her, I didn’t understand why but then she got upset with him and said she will not lift heavy boxes while pregnant. He mocked her because he obviously didn’t think the boxes were heavy but she said she asked someone else for help and she is waiting for them. I don’t understand why he couldn’t have done it himself, or been understanding and patient with her. I asked another employee for his name and they said his name is Eric. And when I asked, they said a lot of employees have troubles with him. Dude needs to learn better management when it comes to employees.

Went to pick up something to eat at the Deli. Good timing, I got chicken fresh out of fryer and French roll loaf hot out the oven, Potatoes, Coleslaw, Doritos and sour cream.Desert was cheesecake New York Style--yummy !

Came in to inflate some balloons i waited about ten minutes it seemed like none of the staff wanted to inflate the balloons so they told me that its better to buy the balloons that are inflated already. So they wanted to over charge me $6 to inflate 1 balloon that I didnt purchase at their store. No problem i took my business else where i was happy to do so. And i prefer to shop at vons or Ralphs now..

Always has what you need. Self checkout and propane exchange are available here, as well as a pharmacy and Starbucks!

Workers at the cashier area had bad adittude, did self check out, but the lady asking us if we wanted bags for our purchase was rude when asking us if we needed bags like we were inconvenienceing her. Not friendly at all. If she doesnt like her job there are so many people who need it.

I recommend this Albertson very neat and clean, and recently they installed a couple of electric chargers in the parking lot. Its free charging for the electric cars.

It doesnt amaze me going to Albertsons. The place is always tighty. The staff there is pretty pleasant. Honestly, I am a Kroger aka Ralphs shopper. I went in to purchase a few items needed while nextdoor at Big Lots aka Pick n Save back in the day. I think I am going to be stopping in a little more often. Kinda like this place??. So there it is, the moral of my story is never count a place out, without giving it a try.

Albertsons is what it is. At the grocery store hits on par with Moms I guess maybe not quite as good as a Ralphs fresh fare or a Gelsons or whatever. But thats okay has a Starbucks inside so that makes up for some flaws :-)

They do not honor their Just For U ads. The General Mills Cereal 8.9 -12 oz for 99 cents is BS. The only cereal available within the weight requirement was the regular Cheerios in 8.9 and 12 ounce boxes. So I took 3 boxes (limit 6) of the 12 oz size to the checkstand and they said this is the wrong size and it should be the smaller 8.9 oz box. I asked why cant I get the 12 oz box? I showed them the add and they said it does not scan for the 99 cent price and I could only get the smaller box. Is it my fault that they did not set up the scanner properly????The store manager said only the smaller box is valid. I asked why? The ad says both sizes. Is this fair???

One of the last American named supermarkets in the area. There are some things that you cant find at the other stores that you can only get from Albertsons

The market is great. Beware: a senior female short staff is rude & bossy. I looked, and there are no marked spots or posters for wait in line at the deli. She rudely says wait in line! I said, where is the line. There are No markers! Other custoners says to me, its bad service. The other deli staff are nice, just one bad apple needs some TLC TALK.

Someone go talk to the not so friendly older white employee at Deli. Hes very sloppy with the handling of meats and cheeses as he hands to customers. No pride in his work.

What is going on with this place? Isnt this a fire hazard? They locked the left side entrance at 7pm today! And saw alot of people trying to enter from that side, including handicap people!! Thats not right. Will talk to the manager next time I go... They should put a BIG sign outside saying its closed!1/6/20 once again they dont tell you they close the left side! 8pm! More and more people go to that side! Cant management post a sign outside telling people its closed!?!4/11/21 Once again they lock the left side without a sign on the outside! Dont they think of the handicap people who Park there and have to walk all the way to the right side! Just saw a few people leave because it was closed!

Theyre NEVER friendly always act like im stealing although I of course have never stolen from them. They have insane prices. The starbucks doesnt serve grilled cheese and cant scan the qr codes on my app... i could go on. Least favorite grocery store ever tbh. Oh yeah i once bought some demerara sugar ( like sugar in the raw) bag from there with a HUGE dead earthworm in it. I was supposed to get a credit on my club card but to my knowledge i never did.

Albertsons is clean, well organized and offers affordable prices. Staff are friendly.I like that they have my favorite my French chocolate cookies (LU Petit Ecolier). Parking lot is huge. Definitely i will shop here again and again. Well you get my point.

Throughout the pandemic Albertsons made me that we are getting through this. They have restocked with all the groceries and paper products. We are courteously checking out to pay. I cant say no employee was not smiling. Ive been shopping at Albertsons at both the Alhambra store and the Montebello store. I also enjoyed the Best Buddies even though I didnt get all 24.

Ive never seen anything like what is going on right now, Im sure most of you havent either. When this is all over, make sure to give the grocery workers a huge thank you and a big high five!
