I ordered a turbo from JM turbo technology, and it well its the last time I ever do as well. They sent me a broken turbo, so I sent it back for a refund, and it turns out that because the warranty doesnt cover broken fins, JM turbo wont refund me my money. My truck never left the shop and the mechanics took a while to find the problem. The mechanics did not start looking from turbo when the new problem occurred being that the part was brand new. JM turbo does not know how to create customer value.

Excellent experience with JM Turbo. Technician are so patient with me. I bought Detroit 14.0l Turbo. Highly recommend it and the sellers are very good customer service people. This turbo is a very reasonable price and we installed it on a series 60 Detroit engine and it increased the boost quit a bit and seem to give us better performance than the stock turbo.

If I could give these guys a negative * I would they sold me a turbo that was blowing oil out my exhaust never had that issue I have a 2002 7.3 Ford F-350 dually and was wanting to just freshen it up with a new turbo and pedestal injectors glow plugs that way I only have the basic maintenance to worry about top hold my contract when I contacted them about the turbo and told them that it was bad they told me that it was my motor and there is something wrong with it and then I need the engine replaced there was nothing wrong with this truck in the beginning so they sent me information sheets an exhaust mounted Turbo which on the 7.3l is a pedestal mounted Turbo. They have me ship it back at my cost from Michigan to California I put insurance on it because I figured that there was going to be some kind of issue they said that they never received the turbo and my tracking number said different the guy that accepted the turbo signed another name and said that that guy does not work at the company I had insurance on it so I have FedEx didnt try to give me my insurance money they said that they have to send a guy down to make sure that it was delivered they pinpointed the guy and found out that he signed a false name so they didnt reimburse me I got a call the next day saying oh yes sir youre turbos in the back we are testing it right now it is our fault we are sending it back after we rebuild it I got it back in the same problem they told me sir there is nothing wrong with that Turbo again you can send it back but we probably cant do anything about it they will not stand behind their warranty

Purchased a pair of k04 turbos for my Audi . One lasted less than 1000 miles and the oil seals leaked tons of oil into the exhaust system . I felt like a ghetto James Bond movie with the amount of snoke . Vlracing via eBay (same company) did not stand by their product. I spent about 40$ shipping the turbo back to them . They made up a story that the turbine was hit from the side making the oil leak. I have several photos I took prior to sending it back that speak to the contrary . They also asked for more money over the phone to send me a replacement . I wasn’t interested in throwing more money at the dead end . Stay away from these guys if you own a 2.7l Audi . The amount of work to get the turbos out of this car versus the savings algorithm doesn’t work in your favor . I gave them a 2star instead of one because the other turbo appears to be working fine . I’ll sell a drivers side ko4 to anyone reading this for $100 . I don’t want to rub them again.

Very disappointed. Sent turbo back after one month was told that they would fix it under warranty. They refused the warranty repair due to “dirty oil”. I asked them to prove to me that it was dirty oil and received no response. Then I’ve asked several times to send it back but they can’t seem to figure out how to have me pay the shipping. BUY FROM ANOTHER COMPANY. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They have had my turbo for 5 months. TERRIABLE COMPANY.

Literally cant give this company enough credit, second turbo Ive bought from them.Excellent quality,Better than Chinesium prices and the customer service rivals that of enjuku. I made a mistake using autofill on my order form and by the time I could submit a contact us form to correct it somebody had called me less than 10 minutes after I placed my order to correct the mistake and followed through with the special instructions to email me with every update of my order. You cannot buy service this great, I will continue to use them in the case that they carry the turbo i require for our application at Sankaku Racing Development, amateur SCCA rally and time attack.

I called JM Turbo about a replacement turbo for a 2000 VW Beetle. They asked me to provide an OEM part number which I got from a local VW dealer. The dealer assured me that there was only one possible part number for the year and model. JM assured me that the part would fit and shipped it to my mechanic. THE PART DID NOT FIT.I would have been happy to simply send the part back but they are asking for a 20% restocking fee. I followed their instructions and was assured that it was the correct part and now they will not take it backDo not do business with this company, they do not take responsibility for their parts or the advice and instructions they give potential customers.

Company will not stand by the warranty. We had purchased Detroit Series 60 12.7L Turbocharger Brand New Turbo from this company. We received the item Nov. 18, 2016 and on Nov 17th 2017 the turbo blew causing thousands of dollars worth of damage and repair cost to the truck. I called them on the 18th which was a Saturday and they were closed and now answering machine or voicemail. I then called first thing Monday morning on the 20th to tell them what had happened and that we wanted it covered under the warranty. The employee stated that since it was ordered on the 14th that is the day of the warranty starts, no where does it say that, he said ok we will go by when you received it and that was the 18th and since it is the 20th your too late. How was I suppose to file a warranty when no one was there on Saturday. All I want now is my money back for this turbo that caused thousands of dollars worth of damage and this company is making every excuse to not stand behind their product warranty.

I am giving 2 stars, being the first time i purchased from JM Turbo, it was a quick and amazing experience (7/2014), but this last time, not sure if they changed hands or what, but was not satisfying. My turbo went out on my peterbilt (7/2016), which i called these guys back, trusting i could get the same turbo as purchased before, since i was happy with it. They had one in stock, shipped it overnight to me which was $250 extra, no big deal, I needed it. My mechanic installed it, not even a week later the bearing went out in the turbo. I called these guys to warranty the turbo. I had to pay a $600 deposit on a $630 turbo to send out to me, then i could send the other one back, even said i could have a mechanic inspect and send photos. He inspected, but no photos. Ok, I abided by their rules and paid the $600 deposit so they could send another one out to me. I received the replacement turbo (JM-C-03), different part number, slightly different turbo. Ok, but it was fit for my truck, so my mechanic installed it. Works like a champ, no problems. Mechanic inspected faulty turbo, bearing failed due to no threadlock on the bolt, causing the bearing to fail.I send the faulty turbo back (JM-C-18) to warranty along with the invoices of the purchased turbo (JM-C-18) and the replacement turbo (JM-C-03), 2 different ones. I did send them copies of this along with the website listings of them, and notes stating 2 different turbos, and what our mechanic said. I kept copies of these as well. They received on a Tuesday afternoon, I get a call on Thursday afternoon.Warranty department inspected the turbo and found a foreign object caused the turbo to fail, so it will not be covered under warranty.I did argue this with the lady that called to tell me this, she said thats what happened, and the warranty department just asks me to call. I told her they were not driving the truck, and thats not what happened, we were on the phone with them when it happened, told them what it did, and they even said that it sounds like the bearing went out. End of conversation.I would have been better off going local to a dealer and spending the same amount I did ($630 + $250 + $600 + 60.51 = 1540.51).If they make this right, I will change my review. If they do not make it right and return any phone calls or review the warranty along with our dispute, my review with stay.

Bought a turbo last year for 2007 egr detroit s60 14.0 liter hold 8 day on truck and start to leak oil from compressor side. Send back to them and bought a new turbo from dealer. They change the cartridge on it and sent it back to me, this year put the repaired one to my second truck last for 3 hours and start to leak oil again from compressor side and stuck in one position. My advice dont be cheap buy from dealer the dealer turbo cost me 650$ more than their.
