The mechanics at Bertone, under the guidance of Nouran, are some of the best Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. Ive now had several of my cars worked on at Bertone, small jobs and bigger projects alike. What I appreciate most is the professionalism and the attention to detail and quality. Its also great to see the shop so impeccably clean, demonstrative of the care that goes into their work. You cant go wrong with Bertone.

I was glad to find Bertone Motorsport from the gentleman I bought my Saab. Nouran has proved to be a master mechanic. It is worth the drive from Studio City since he is diligent in his diagnosis and repair. While other mechanics will just use the ‘replace and bill’ strategy, Nouran’s perspective is to ensure the customer doesn’t needlessly pay extra just to replace parts. He was able to rebuild my power steering pump rather than spending double or triple for a replacement Saab part. Bottom line, he is ‘geared’ towards setting up a good business relationship from the get-go.

I brought my 2017 WRX to Nouran at Bertone after I saw the amazing work he did when he built my friends E46 M3 track build, and needless to say, I continued to be impressed! Nouran is very honest, professional and very knowledgeable about aftermarket performance upgrades. He patiently helped me put together a list of all of the aftermarket performance parts I would need for the perfect daily driver/weekend warrior build, and then did an amazing job with the installation! I will definitely come back to Bertone Motorsports when my car gets older and I decide to turn it into a full track car. My acquaintance with Nouran and Bertone Motorsport started over two years ago when I brought in my 1992 Volvo 960 wagon. The car would intermittently fail to start and after taking it to numerous shops in the Pasadena area, including a very reputable shop which charges $100 just to give a diagnose, I was told that it’s either junk or replacing the transmission for a cost of $1,800 for a used unit… And then someone recommended calling Nouran.It wasn’t the only that the repair cost a fraction of the amount mentioned above that got my attention but the fact that he spent the time and had the willingness to do something that after over two years and 30K miles past still has the car running!Whether it’s an 1988 or 2010 BMW M5, 1984 Volvo 240 or a 2016 V60 Nouran has the knowledge, skill and wit to diagnose, pinpoint and execute the most quirky of things that no-one else would bother to explore. If you have a SAAB, Volvo, BMW or a Mercedes he is the guy to visit.If I had and extra hand, I’d give him three thumbs up!

Excellent service on my saab! The owner, Nouran, is a great mechanic! He provided thorough explanations for all repairs before and after at very reasonable prices. He took care of a check engine light even though Id been to 2 other shops for the same problem.Im impressed by the service at Bertone Motorsport! Was referred here by owner of an older Volvo, who is very happy with Bertone. Since we have a 2005, all repairs were either under warranty or just an oil change... As of this year, no more warranty, and I thought Id check them out. 52,500 mi. service: Bertone- $140, local Volvo dealer - $240. I dropped it off at 9am, car was ready at 11am. Good guys.

This is one of the best Saab and Volvo mechanics I have ever seen as I have been to about 20 different ones around Southern California none of them compared to the quality of work and quality of parts used here these mechanics do things the right way if if if you go to the shop you you Ill be highly satisfied as I have been for the last 15 years here

So knowledgeable in their specialty of Volvo. They actually save me money. In ~2015, on a ~$2,000 repair job proposed by a Volvo dealer, Bertone did the whole thing for ~$600; besides, ~80% of the dealer’s recommendations were incorrect, as it was clearly out to rip me off. I’ve been happily with Bertone for 7 years.

My family and I have been taking our cars (BMW; E46, E90 and Mercedes-Benz; W202, W211) to Nouran for many years now. Nouran is a master mechanic, car enthusiast and is very knowledgeable. What I appreciate most about Bertone Motorsport is their professionalism, meticulousness, and quality of work. Unlike other mechanics I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with who more closely resemble a con artist rather than a mechanic, Nouran is honest and is completely against performing unnecessary work, he is what every mechanic should strive to be. Time and again Nouran and the guys from the shop saved the day. My work Truck had some emissions related issues and wasnt passing smog. They found the problem quickly and I passed the smog right away. Time is money and Im glad I found this place, I highly recommend them for service.

Best Volvo shop around. We have been customers for 9 years and were referred by a veteran customer. Christian always tries to find ways to keep the costs down and our 1990 volvo is still in top shape. Totally recommend.

Nouran is the man! Not only is he an extremely skilled mechanic, he also treats you as a person and the guy to see in LA if you have a saab. I took my 2002 9-5 to him soon after I bought it from a friend. He immediately told me that it was a lemon, and then took the time to explain and show me why the maintenance hasnt been kept up. Also showed me what needed to be fixed and what was optional.I have since traded it in for a 2005 9-3. I had plenty of questions about value prices and ideas and Nouran answered all of my questions and helped guide me in the right direction (While reminding me that he doesnt have all the answers) but damn! this guys knowledge is invaluable.I owe this shop about a million thanks and would recommend it to anyone with a saab. They operate with the skill, efficiency and ethics that are well above standard.

Nouran and his staff here are are a godsend! Ive been driving a 1998 Volvo v70 for years now and he has been the only person to give it the TLC it needs each time I bring it to the shop. Extremely detail-oriented and most importantly, communicative to their client--I was updated throughout the transmission rebuild process and Nouran was really helpful when I would ask questions or voiced concerns.Most recently, my steering fluid was leaking and I immediately called Bertone on the Thursday of to alert them. Nouran swiftly arranged to have someone receive the car via tow Friday morning and had the issue resolved by Monday.This is a shop of people who care about the cars they work on because simply put, they love cars. Not sure it gets better than that!

I Love everyone there. The owners (Chris and Ann) helped me get a fantastic first car for my son and even encourage him to learn about the mechanics. Nueron (sorry if I misspelled your name) who is top mechanic took my son under his wing and showed him how to upkeep and maintain his engine. He gave him a crash course of the basics in the car plus added tricks to extend the life of his engine. (Wish He knew that when he was driving mine lol). My son does praise about the knowledge he has obtain and is interested in following in Nuerons steps. I would recommend the shop and these people to any car owner. Customer service is exceptional.
