Absolutely fantastic service. Very knowledgeable staff. Friendly and attentive. Sheri and Fernanda really made our afternoon visit great. Will not hesitate to come back to this store, will go out of our way to make this our regular Kays store from now on.

BAD..... Dont waste your time going nowadays, sign in policy appointments only, theyll only let you in if an associate is available youre better off ordering online or dont even bother at all im shocked if they even turn a profit. I wish I could give them no stars.

Algonquin Kay jewelers is my go to location because of one reason, Peter! He is by far the best employee at this location. He has helped me with warranty claims, new purchases and also is the only one who cleans and buffs my ring to make it look like it is brand new again. He is very knowledgeable and always a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend working with Peter you wont be disappointed.

Get the guarantee on your jewelry, mine covered a diamond that fell out and a couple cracks I had on the bottom band. Its not their fault regarding quality, its me because I clean houses and constantly working with chemicals, having my hands in water, or in gloves and moving stuff around, Im rough with the amount of work I do with my hands. But the guarantee they offer covered everything!

Horrible customer service at Kay in Algonquin IL. As soon as I walked in the door a sales associate told me I needed to sign in with my name, number and email. I asked why do I need to sign in and all she said was in case something happens. Really weird and not a great answer as far as I’m concerned. Why would they need my personal contact info. All 3 sales people were with customers and didn’t even have the decency to acknowledge me to at least say we will be with you momentarily. Waited for a bit and left. What a waste of time.

What a fantastic experience at Kay Jewelers in Algonquin. Ive been to many Jewelry stores in my life but never a store like this one. The customer service is impeccable and the staff extremely friendly yet incredibly professional. Cant say enough about the courtesy extended to me as a customer yet enjoyed the conversation with everyone: Suzie, John, Tasha and Peter. Had a few laughs and felt like I was part of the family before I left. If youre looking for that magical experience when shopping for high quality jewelry and incredible customer service, I highly recommend this Kay Jewelers location in Algonquin!

The boyfriend and I went to Kay in Algonquin after dinner this week and met with Suzy. OMG!!! She was absolutely AMAZING in helping us look at engagement rings. I tried some on and she helped with picking out different wedding bands to go with the ring I chose. She was very patient and gave some great suggestions. I would definitely go to this Kay again.

This location is the best to buy any jewelry. We went there to just browse but after dealing with Asst. Manager Sherry, we decided to buy. She is amazing and I never had such a nice experienced in any jewelry shop. I Congrats the management for having such a nice staff.

Very disappointing. POOR customer service. I didnt even want to give them 1 star.Ive been a customer for over 10 years. Ive bought many things and spent a lot of money at this store. But when I tried to exchange a watch that was a gift for Christmas, but I had never worn, they would not return it because it was just over 60 days. I had to go back to the store 3 different times to finally speak with the district manager. He said the watch is considered USED and they would have to the eat the cost, even though I was exchanging it for a higher priced item. They would rather lose a costumer, who may have spent a lot more money at their store, than make the exchange. Bad customer service and a very poor way to treat your customers. Be warned if you ever need to return anything!

Very nice and welcoming staff. My only issue is that they only stock the ring I wanted in 1 size, and it would take 2 weeks to order my size. I would be ok with 2-3 days. Not 2 weeks. But very nice people!

I have had the absolute worst retail experience of my life over the past several months working with Kay Jewelers (1020 S Randall Rd, Algonquin, IL) to get engagement rings for myself, and future wife. I bought two stock size rings in early February for a Valentines Day proposal, and was assured that the staff would send out an order for TWO new rings that were the size for both myself, and my soon-to-be-fiance. I requested that her size come in first, and was assured that they could probably make that happen. In early February, I am notified that ONE ring is back – the incorrect size (ordered size 9, received size 6.25.) At this point Im still waiting for the SECOND appropriately sized ring, and am told it will be in within a couple weeks.I wait another month.In late March I still havent heard anything, so I call the store and am met with complete confusion. No one can find the order number (texted to me in February by the store manager) or my name in the system. Needless to say – the ring wasn’t in. I am told it isn’t in…because it was never ordered. This despite getting a “special order” number and estimated date of arrival sent to me directly by the manager. No one can tell me what happened.It’s late March at this point, more than a month after I originally bought the jewelry. I am promised they will rush the order and guarantee the correct ring, in the right size will be back April 9.It’s April 10. I called yesterday and was told that the jewelry is still the service and design center, and no one could give me an answer on when it would be back despite the guarantee that it would be done on the 9th.Unfortunately, the deadline on when to return the jewelry has passed while I am still waiting to receive the merchandise. I should have just returned everything when I heard the manager never even called in the order (not sure if this is because we’re a lesbian couple and thus lower priority than the cis-hets / straight couples that spend $1000s ? What happened? Is this one of those the pharmacist doesnt believe in birth control so you cant get your pills situations?) but I decided to give Kay the benefit of the doubt. Not a great decision, and I am wondering at what point I will receive the jewelry I have already paid for.At least it will make a great wedding story? (If we ever get there. Would like rings for the ceremony...)

My fiancé bought my ring from Kay and we had nothing but problems with it. Stones were always loose. So we decided to upgrade hoping that would fix it. When we were looking for my new ring we hardly got any help from them other then them ringing up the sale. And every time I go in for my inspections they are rude and cold. When I have questions Im treated as if I know nothing. Shocked at the way they treat there customers. Will never buy jewelry from there again.
