Had a great experience, wasn’t sure what game I’d like to get and the manager there went through what games I’ve played and what type of games I like and made suggestions based on that and I left with shadow of Mordor and shadow of war. Very delighted as a customer and will be shopping here and online first for everything I need. 🚀

This GameStop is easily the best one in McHenry county. Staff are nice, used game prices are good, and their protective warranty for games / consoles is just an all around solid bonus for customers. I’m 26 now and have been coming to this location since I was 15 and will continue to do so for many many more years because I always have a positive experience when I come here!Power to the players!

Such low variety and selection for a brick and mortar store...all toys and anime or videogame lifestyle collectable junk...where are the physical copies of 4 decades worth of games, GameStop?

People are great but idk why they changed their system. You walk in and look at the games but the games on the wall isn’t what they have in stock. I don’t know if it’s laziness or just lack of caring but they leave many games that aren’t available at their store on their wall like they do have them. Then you go to the register to get let down. Just not a good system. Very disappointed

Rich is the man to talk to abt anything. Went out of his way to find me another collectors edition of a game that I had came to pick up.thst turned out to be damaged and called them.and explained and everything good.

It is the same as it always has been except they are only taking newer style games because of covid. Some decent prices on some clearance stuff. The person working there said once it calms down and covid starts to go away then they will be able to take a more bigger selection of games on trade.

The guy Richard is really helpful and kind in my difficult situation 10/10 would recommend thanks for the help for the lack of stock in controller he went and ordered one online for me

I’ve called the store 50 times to pick up an item. Two days later still cannot contact the store. Customer service is horrible. Will not be purchasing anything from GameStop.

Answered my questions and provided basic answers to complex questions that basically told me I wasnt going to receive any helpful information. When I pushed for more help by asking about other stores that might have what I was looking for i was ignored and had to repeat myself, which got me a polite idk man, sorryOverall not upset because they provided basic service but nothing over the top so just meh

This store is small. The walls are packed as well as the middle of the store leaving little room to browse. The kids like the games and the used games are reasonably priced. The trade in option helps them to recycle old games. No bathroom.

Very nice staff! Was happy to introduce the memberships to me and were not pushy. Let us do our trade ins and browse. Going here again!

I have had 3 poor experiences with this location. Sold new items at full price but the seal was brocken and the code for add on content was used. I would recommend driving futher to a diffrent location.

Not a great inventory, store is quite small...

You can return the product only in 7 days, I didnt know that and nobady told me until I return the game after 12 days

They are as slow as can be. One game in line for 20 minutes.
