Would not recommend for weddings after our recent experience. Our overall experience was poor despite the Dasherys attempts to resolve issues and address ongoing concerns. We experienced poor communication, poor follow through and inconsistencies with staff regarding various factors related to our transaction. Callae started working with us the last 1-2 months of our experience and was very helpful. We hope improvements can be made for future wedding parties.

Look elsewhere! Dashery does not have staff to handle quality control for a wedding. A Pant only order for usher was wrong COLOR and SIZE.Evidently they do not look at what they are sending out for a large group of matching attire.-Failed Attempt when asking for inconvenience discount-The owner definitely likes to talk but certainly does not know how to listen to a concern/complaint-had to interrupt and ask if I could talk and did not appreciate her snide remark back! Over priced-poor customer service.

Very upset with there return policy. They don’t communicate well on when things have to be back and there’s no flexibility on it either. For those of us that work full time it’s hard to get stuff back right away on Monday because there hours don’t allow for easy drop off. Very disappointed in the customer service that I received, I have been in customer service for many years and this is definitely not how we have ever treated a customer. I will not be returning to this establishment and will not be recommending this store to anyone that asks about the types of products that they sell. Money is better spent elsewhere.

My husband bought a $400 suit including a $40 tie from here and we were really impressed with the service and quality initially. The experience after that was disappointing for us to say the least. He did not end up using the tie so went to return it in perfect condition with tags still on it just a few days later only to find they only do in-store credit or exchanges. Disappointing as he was not told this but when we came back there was a small sign on the counter stating that this is their policy. Frustrating nobody verbally told him that when he bought the suit and tie to begin with. Still loved their clothing so decided to exchange the tie for a shirt that was almost $60 and looked very nice, so paid the extra money to get it. Went to wash the shirt that night and found a pinky sized hole in it. Called the store and they were very friendly and told me to bring it in so they could look at it. Get to the store and they said due to their policy they would not take it back for in store credit or exchange. They offered to try to reach out to the company who makes the shirt to see if they would replace it for us but didn’t know how lengthy this could be and it did not sound hopeful they would help us. They did offer for their tailor to fix the hole but said they would charge us for it. Definitely won’t be shopping there again which is very disappointing because we want to support our local stores and they do have nice things. Just feel we spent a lot of money here and got poor customer service. Just sharing our experience so people know they cannot return items here.

Really cool shop located in downtown Alexandria right on Broadway street. They had some street deals and crazy days offered some huge discounts. Its an all mens store where you can get suits, leisure wear and high end clothing. They carry Mavi jeans which are super comfortable. All the clothes can be found in most sizes up to XXL. They also sell all the accessories youd need. Socks, briefs, shoes, belts, sunglasses, hats, tie clips, etc..They also offer suit and tux rentals.Its a really really nice store and highly recommend.

My husband was set on the Dashery from the moment he met them at the Gathered Oaks open house in July 2017. One of the women noticed his broad shoulders and tapered waist & described the perfect fit of a suit for him. From then on he was sold!Simone was fantastic to work with from the very beginning. Originally my husband wanted to wear a tweed jacket, but after months of Simone searching at shows and with other vendors, we came up short. That’s when Simone suggested their in-house tailor, Kristie, make my husband a jacket or vest. We opted for the vest, as my husband decided he didn’t want to be “too different” from the other guys. It turned out amazing!Our groomsmen were from all over, my brother being the furthest away in Atlanta, GA. Simone helped us find a place for my brother to be measured accurately in a different state & had us called in those measurements for his suit. The women at the Dashery also set aside private fittings for our guys who couldn’t make it during regular store hours & treated each of our guys with exceptional kindness.Communication was excellent & we always knew what to expect. The Dashery is now one of our favorites menswear stores for my husband!

The service is amazing! I’m dumbfounded at the quality difference between here and every other tux place I’ve been to. What’s even crazier is you’re paying the same price as you would at an inferior tux shop. Do yourself a favor and just give them your business.

Their Mens Coats are made in China, not good. They dont fit Men in size 54 to 58, have a alter quite a bit.

I came into The Dashery for small business Saturday for the first time and I gotta say, I absolutely loved it! The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and made some great suggestions. I am happy to have a more modern men’s clothing store. I will be shopping there again!

The Dashery provides some of the best clothing for a local store I have ever seen. The quality of products and the customer service is outstanding.

Expert and friendly service, on time and accurate. Rentals are clean and well fit, and custom clothing is a dream thanks to the I house tailor. All in all I couldnt recommend any place more for mens formalwear. They also have a wide range of casual clothing, and any accessories you could need from shoes to cufflinks.Had a very positive experience being fit for a custom suit and had all my issues addressed directly. Highly professional people that are there to make you happy, but arent afraid to help you understand the finer points.
