This garage is very professional and completely transparent in their process! I took my car in, on clearly a busy day for Bradham, for a whirring noise that I wanted fixed before taking it on a long drive. An hour after dropping my car off, I had a text and email link with detailed results of their inspection. This included things that are Good, Needs Future Attention, and Needs Immediate Attention. Each item on the list included the condition, recommended action, and notes on the issue (sometimes also a picture of the specific part of my car), as well as informational videos on the importance of various parts/what they do. On top of that, I got a call not long after reviewing their results link, and Scott personally explained what was needed, patiently and thoroughly answering all my questions - turns out I had more than one item on the to-fix list. Because of the amount of information they provide, its easy to research the cost of the parts and typical fair service charges; Im confident that Im not being overcharged for their services - such a relief for an inexperienced recent college grad thats tight on funds!!

The customer service at Bradham was beyond excellent. We had a very unique situation in which our car had (unbeknownst to us) transmission issues on our way to Alexandria/DC on a short vacation - 4-hour drive. We arrived in town and it turned out that we unexpectedly needed an entire new transmission on a car that wasnt worth the sizable expenditure. Nick and others at Bradham were so kind and gracious to us and helped us figure out what to do every step of the way despite their not making much money from the interactions (beyond cost of diagnosis). If it wasnt for them, we would have never know what to do or what was exactly wrong with our car. They did all this amidst and intensely busy two days in which they squeezed us in without even knowing us or having any prior relationship. Id taken my vehicle to the dealership service center a few times and as the problem persisted and repair fees piled up, I knew it was time to take it to a place with some specific electrical expertise. The problem was what I expected (despite what the dealership kept trying to sell me), and the Bradham techs actually handled the repair (refabricating a positive battery cable that is no longer available as a part). Very thorough and clear communication throughout the process. Even got it done a day early. Seems like a well run shop.

Bradham is the kind of auto shop you want. They provide quality work done by experiences professionals without nickel and dining you. You can trust their estimates and if something isnt right, they will take care of it without charging you. They have been working on my car for different issues and have treated me right and not overcharged me for small issues to fix the main problem I arrived with. Theyve also taken extremely good care of my car when I couldnt pick it up right away.

Nick and his team were wonderful. I brought my car because it was shaking on the highway and his team was communicative and thorough. When the fix took longer than they thought it would, they stayed late and came in early so that we would still be able to take our road trip. So glad they were able to fix our car - it now feels like a new ride!

I brought my car in because I was having a recurring alarm issue. When I brought it in, I mentioned I was also having issues with the power locks, and that I thought the two might be related. Bradham tried several times to re-create the issue and to diagnose it, however, they could not find the problem, after leaving my car at their shop three times. I asked if they could just disable the alarm because it was becoming a nuisance to my neighbors, and they could not. They finally replaced a broken door latch (which I had suggested on the first visit), which solved the problem temporarily, but a couple months later the part failed and the alarm issue came back.I brought it to a Mazda dealer, where they were quickly able to disable the alarm for $150 -- significantly less than what I paid here, and what I was told by Bradham was not possible. John was friendly and willing to continue investigating, however I just couldnt sink any more money into ineffective repairs.

I thought I could trust Bradham. I have been a loyal customer for years and have never had a complaint about their customer service. In September, I had a costly repair. On a recent trip out of state, I went to my long-time mechanic to do routine pre-winter maintenance. I was told the car was not safe to be driving due to the rusted out frame (pictures below). This is something that would have been a building concern for many months, if not years, and never once was I informed of this issue by Bradham, which has now turned into a serious safety hazard. The recent maintenance at Bradham was, in fact, performed immediately next to the rusted frame. I am extremely disappointed that due to either incompetency or questionable business practices, Bradham performed maintenance without addressing an underlying concern.

Staff are very friendly,knowledgeable and show you everything going on with the vehicle. They will also send you a very detailed report of everything going on with the vehicle. Will definitely have them service my vehicle from now on.

The service manager Grace took the time to explain her recommended services over the phone as well as why they were being recommended, which I appreciated and helped me prioritize the issues. I received an email with pictures of my car from various angles after the general inspection, which was nice to have. Online appointment booking was a plus too. Overall pretty solid.

I have been with Bradham Automotive now for a shade over two years, and to date, I will not bring my car anywhere else for repairs. These are some of the most hardworking and knowledgeable employees I have gotten to know.Their prices are fair and they will be honest with you when it comes to fixing your car, unlike other shops that will tell you everything is wrong with your car, so they can get you to shell out more money than you should be paying for the repairs.One of the best things I like about this shop, other than the staff, is the location. Unlike other garages, which can feel like you are in a prison when it comes to waiting for repairs, the fact that it is in Old Town Alexandria, allows you the flexibility to explore it while your car is being worked on. There is always some place to eat or walk around! There is also the option of taking the Metro somewhere as well as it is only a 15-20 minute walk to the King Street/Old Town Metro station. It is also real convenient for people who work in DC and want to take the train in and then pick their car up after their workday is over!They also now have weekend hours, and not just any wimpy weekend hours, they are open from 8-4 on Saturdays.I feel a good mechanic is like a good dentist. Once you find a good one, you will not want to go with anybody else because of the fact you trust them. And I trust them.

Bradham was absolutely terrific. After taking my Honda Del Sol to the other place where they charged me a bunch and basically gave up on it, I had it towed to Bradham where they stuck with it, and were able to repair it. The repairs were complicated, so I really appreciated that they took the time to work with it, and I was more than pleased with the bill.These guys are great.

Ive been taking my 10 year old Honda Accord to Bradham Automotive for several years. Service has been excellent, relationship professional, and charges reasonable. Josh explains whats indicated, if anything beyond regular maintenance, but without high sales pressure applied. Its my go-to shop for auto servicing, and I expect it will continue to be for a long time to come.

I have been taking my car to Bradham for 4-5 years. I am so happy that I found them. I should have been posting here more, but better late than never. Being a woman, I find it difficult to feel very comfortable with car repair places -- except Bradham! They are so good at what they do. They always explain what is wrong and what is the fix. You will never find any place that does better customer service than these guys. Just today was another exceptional interaction with them. Wow. A $1K issue has cropped up with my car. Bradham could have just told me this repair was needed and I probably would have sighed and said OK. But instead of just telling me it was needed, they researched the issue and told me that I might be able to get a dealership to cover it under warranty. I really appreciate their knowledge and their willingness to save me a few dollars!!! You want to bring your car here.

Great service at a reasonable price.We have a 10 year old BWM X3 so of course there are maintenance issues now and then. Bradham is very patient and provides answers to all of our questions. They help us prioritize the work that needs to be done at a reasonable price and most often in a single day. (We have done a direct comparison with another shop.) But, recently we dropped the car off on a Thursday morning and unfortunately the work couldn’t be completed by Friday end of day. So Bradham went above and beyond to rent us a very nice Jeep SUV for the entire weekend, at no charge. We will be going back to Bradham for all of our future auto maintenance and repairs. Very impressive team.

Ill be honest, I have some misgivings about car shops in general, simply because by spending less money at a tool shop and a bit of time, you can pretty much do it yourself. Bonus you get all the tools!In saying that, this place was great and offers reasonable prices especially considering its location. Service is great and speedy, and job is completed to satisfaction. I appreciated the additional advice as well for upcoming jobs and credit for work completed that was completed due to miscommunication. Overall, good shop and popular with locals.

Im a little delayed on my review but I figured better late than never! Im from this area but moved back a couple years ago with a really old car needing major fixes. I always worried about finding a good repair shop that would understand the vehicle and was reasonably priced. Bradham exceeded my expectations! I had to take my car in several times and they were always easy to get ahold of, reasonably priced, and willing to discuss the issues with me. I talked to Josh (I think) several times after having concerns with the car who advised me about potential future issues instead of paying for immediate fixes- I really appreciated his advice and the time they put into each of their customers. Ive referred them to several people and wont go anywhere else in the area!

I was initially very impressed, this place seemed professional, knowledgeable & invested in their customers. I could not have been more wrong. Im sure theyve done just fine by many customers, I was just not one of them. I did learn a very valuable and EXPENSIVE lesson, so theres that. Glad to put them in my rearview mirror.Josh - I understand you do not have a crystal ball. However, I paid for an evaluation of my car by an expert. My mistake for making assumptions that a professional garage could give me an opinion beyond what a machine reading a sensor tells you. Auto Zone offers the same for free.I keeping the car now that I am this invested, but will find someone else to do future work.

I have been taking my 2015 Mazda 3 to Bradham Automotive for almost one year now for routine maintenance and also new tires. Theres not much more you can ask for from an automotive shop. Their staff is courteous and knowledgeable, their prices are reasonable and the workmanship is always excellent.

Absolutely AWESOME service. Broke down and luckily got this shop off a Google search. Best results EVER. As a service member not from this area and knowing nobody, this shop was amazing. Good price and even OFFERED a loaner for me and the Mrs to use while our truck was getting repaired.WILL be going back for future repairs.

Very Professional the best I have been to so far

Let me preface my review by saying, this place IS a little more expensive than I would like.I took my car here to get it serviced because of a check engine light. They were professional and courteous. They kept me informed every step of the way, and tried to be very informative about the problem (even though much of it was car talk and lost on me). I get my car home, and the next day the issue starts up again. I call Bradham back and speak to Josh, the person handling my car the previous day. He was immediately responsive, wanted to help arrange for a tow since the car couldnt be driven, and wanted to look at it right away to figure out where the issue was. He was upfront that if the issue was anything they had done, it would be warrantied out. Thankfully the tow was covered under Triple A. Despite the fact that this happened over Christmas weekend, and that my car arrived late, Josh still made sure that my car was looked after AS SOON as it got there. He called me several times along the way to keep me informed, and had my car fixed AFTER the shop was closed. It turns out one of the parts installed the previous day was bad. I dont know what other people are talking about in their reviews saying the shop is shady. I found these guys to be nothing but courteous, respectful, and up front. Yeah, their services did cost a little bit more than I would expect, but I will happily pay a little more for a local business with good customer service and integrity!

On a holiday week, they handled our repair with efficiency and understanding. Although paying for this repair while on vacation was painful, they didnt try to rip us off. My car broke down 2 hours from home and I spent the night in the parking lot of Bradham Auto waiting for them to open. In the morning, even though they were busy, they saw my urgency and made room to look at my car. They gave me a smart and fair assessment, and then helped accommodate me in any way I needed, which included giving me a ride to the car rental place and helping me sort my options out. They did not need to do any of this - they did it because they are decent and honest human beings, especially the kind lady, Grace, who covered the front desk. LOOK NO FURTHER FOR HONEST, RELIABLE, COMPETENT MECHANICS!Ive gotten many vehicles serviced throughout the United States at dozens of mechanics, and I have to say Brandham is 1 of 2 that I would go back to without any reservation. They are friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and willing to go the extra mile to answer questions - no browbeating here.I took my vehicle in after the dealership recommended that I get my brakes replaced. These guys were upfront and honest that I had at least 10,000 on all four. Not often that a mechanic will turn away business, but theyve guaranteed mine for the foreseeable future with their honesty. They also quickly diagnosed the issue (tire imbalance) that the dealership told me that they had fixed (they hadnt) and charged me extremely reasonable prices.

Awesome people, very thorough in inspecting your vehicle, they have excellent communication and explain exactly what and why you should fix. They will not try to sell you on anything you don’t want. When I switched jobs in 2015, a colleague recommended Bradham Automotive, and they have been professional, knowledgeable, and courteous every time. When we were having problems with an old Nissan, they redid for free the work they had previously done in order to rule out that their previous work was the problem (their work was impeccable both times). When I was deciding whether to buy our current used Honda, Bradhams owner did a detailed inspection which gave me the confidence to purchase the car. Bradham is a convenient 10 minute walk from King St Metro, and I would recommend them to anyone who lives, works, or just passes through Alexandria.

These folks have always been honest with me about whats going on with my car and I recommend them to everyone. But, the week of my wedding when I was already really stressed, of course my car started to have problems. They fixed it, but I told them I wouldnt be able to pick it up until after the honeymoon, ten days later. Josh drove my car back to my house and put the keys in a safe location. Above and beyond.

Went in to get some work done that required a lot of labor to complete. They gave me a quote, I approved, and they got to work. Half way through they called to say, when we take this part of the car apart, you really should get all these other parts replaced. By the way, its another $650 on top of the quote we gave you, and if you say no, it will leak like crazy when we put it back together. Why would you not mention that upfront? Felt very manipulative. Ill go elsewhere in the future. Quick service though, so two stars.

Bradham Auto Electric is a facility where customer service matters and they are EXPERT car repairmen. The facility is original and has been in Old Town Alexandria for decades I am sure. They recently remodeled their lobby which made it a bit more comfortable to wait if need be. Service is reliable and they have made some changes to make it more convenient, like early drop off and key deposits if you need to arrive before the 7am opening time. They do all service, including inspection and emissions, on a first come first serve basis. Their customer service is impeccable. They are not the cheapest in town, but they stand behind their work. As a female who admits to not knowing a thing about cars, except the basics, I never felt talked down to or ever felt as if they tried to sell me something I didnt need.

Took my car there to have some work done and when i showed up to pick it up they couldn’t get it to start and the mechanic told me it was a leak in my transmission (wrong). I took my car back about 5 more times for the same issue that they couldn’t figure out but instead something else would magically go bad every time. Not sure if it was a lack of competence or pure negligence but i end up inherit more problems with the car after they worked on it. When i told the managers something was wrong with the electrical circuits in the car after they worked on it he told me to come get the car and he had nothing to do with it. I have been taking my car to Checkerd flag and BMW Bavarian..... no complaints ever since

I used both Google and Yelp to find Bradham and I wasnt disappointed. They did excellent work. They were professional and friendly and seemed to take pride in their work and their garage. They treated my truck like it was their own. I have nothing bad to report at all.

I took my car in for an oil change and the service was great. The staff was very friendly and even gave me a ride back to my house so I could wait at home while they were performing the service. They even offered to come pick me back up when it was ready. They were fast, friendly and affordable. I havent brought my car in for any other services but will definitely check them out the next time I need any other routine maintenance.

This place is great! The staff is personable and knowledgeable. I only had an oil change, but they made sure to clean my car, reset my cars reminders, fill the tires and check other major systems. They even put on a new matching set of tire air caps since a couple of my old ones were missing! I highly recommend but just wish they were open on weekends. :(

Dont recommend if you have used old car! I have Ford Taurus 2003. One of my friend suggested that I go to Bradham. They charged me and everyone more than $100 only to find out the problem, while I already knew the problem and told them!! So you should know that you will charge around $130 first of all! Then for a minor problem they offered me around $850! I refused and brought my car to a not-known near auto service and they fixed it with only $280.Their behavior toward me was not respectful. I told that I am a student and I only wanna fix the car not more. But they told me that you should donate it!! One reason they offered me that huge price might be that they wanna fix every car very carefully. What I said is that if you dont wanna invest on your old used car, and dont want to be upset by their comment on your car, dont go to Bradham. It is only useful for rich people!

While living in Alexandria I took my Dodge Challenger there a few times and always left more than pleased with the work. Family-owned business that clearly takes pride not only in their work but also how they treat their customers. Unlike so many other businesses today you will always leave Bradham knowing they are looking out for you and your vehicle, and not just looking to make a quick buck. It is unfortunate I had to move and hope I find a mechanic half as good. Highly recommend you take your car or truck to Bradham where they treat it like one of their own and treat you like family!!

Started coming here on the recommendation of a mechanic friend. They have been great and got my 2005 Toyota Matrix running great each time. They have good, quality, honest, professional, friendly service. Good luck to anyone trying to find a better automotive repair shop in the area.

I have been so happy with the people at Bradham Auto. My car needed a little work done and they have been so helpful in determining what I need, and even what I dont need to take care of. The mechanics have helped me understand what they feel is wrong in a clear and respectful manner, and they have helped me decide what are necessary immediate fixes, and what can wait. They are also advanced as far as communication. I can opt in for texts from them when the car is ready, or phone calls, or e-mails. Basically however I would like to be contacted. The girl at the front desk is very nice and each of the mechanics that I have personally dealt with have been great. I highly recommend Bradham Auto to anyone who needs work done.

Recently (within the past year) switched mechanics after my move to Arlington. These guys are great. The best thing I can ask of any mechanic is to be communicative. They called, reviewed the options, and worked with me on an expensive repair to my (older) vehicle. Later, when I was in a jam and needed a safety inspection completed before my court date that morning, they squeezed me in and got it done in 15 minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend the team at Bradham Automotive.

They gave me information and didnt push me to have anything done that was unnecessary-- I have left repair shops feeling like I need a whole new car when I originally went in for an oil change. EXCELLENT. My experiance here was less than painless. Went in for a tire fix and was met with friendly and courteous service. I believe they went above and beyond what is expected as an auto shop, so much so I had to write this review. I’m new to the area, wasn’t sure where to go but was happy I checked out these online reviews (another reason to write this) cause they lead me here. This will definitely be the shop I go to for any future needs. Also I worked a couple of years at an auto-electric shop back home so I have a particular expectation to how shops should run and this place would get an A if I were to grade it.

I recommend Bradham Automotive. Despite coming from Pittsburgh where mechanics practically pay YOU to work on your car, I quickly overcame the initial sticker shock (alas, the unfortunate price you pay for living in Northern VA and having an old lemon that needs constant work).Front area staff were cordial. I worked with Josh throughout the repair process - solid job and no complaints. He kept me up to date and didnt try to sell me or bamboozle me on crap I didnt need. Granted, I went in with a very narrowly focused repair (rusted out PSF piping) and made it clear upfront I didnt want any additional bells and whistles done. He even waived the initial inspection fee.The price they quoted me was the price I paid at the end, no curve balls. They had my car ready to go when they said they would. All in all a good experience... now Im off to sell my kidney to afford living in Old Town :)

I went to Bradham Automotive for my emissions inspection, fearing that my car might not pass. When Keith called to tell me that only my front light had to be replaced to passed I was thrilled. Keith then went on to ask me what my goals were for my car, was I going to replace it soon or planning on keeping it for a while? When I informed him of my goal, he laid out suggestions on when things will need to be fixed and provided estimated costs so I could budget for them. This was very insightful! When I went into pick up my car Keith also showed me one of the hoses on my car he was concerned about, he showed me if this starts to crack bring it right in. Bottom line: the gentlemen at Bradham are great men that you can trust and were able to exceed my expectations.

2020-Last year after leaving the review below about my dissatisfying experience a manager reach out to try and rectify the issue but at the that time the truck had been repaired and sold. I can respect the outreach as most wouldnt. But because of a bad review my father who is a repeat customer of this business was denied service. If he really wanted to make this review go away taking care of my father would have been the appropriate step to having this review removed but it shall stand with this update.2019 Paid $300 for 3 wires to get Solder. Told I need another $300 worth of work due to my vehicle not starting in park (they never put the truck in park), i got it to start right up in park. Couldnt not find my issue which I later found more exposed wires coming off my alternator. WILL NOT BE DOING BUSY AGAIN WITH THIS COMPANY. The experience was least then pleasing

The staff are friendly and they have a good sized lot for a city shop. But I didnt have a great first experience. I made an appointment for a simple oil change one day in advance. When I come in they tell me they dont have the necessary replacement filter and plug for my car - even though I had clearly told them the year, make, and model when I made my appointment. Also, the mechanic left some sticky residue on my steering wheel.So I come back again the next day at 7am and they get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Then they try to charge me $140. That price seems pretty high even for a synthetic oil change. I requested a discount since I had to come to the shop twice and they let me pay a flat $100.

If you ask me they the best Car Shop in Va. I dont care where I move to Im going to always take my car to this shop. I give them 10000 stars

I have to say this is one top shop! From super pro and friendly staff to nice waiting room with cool drinks, to a sparkling clean bathroom. They make getting auto inspections easy.

By far one of the best, most trustworthy, and accomdating mechanic garages Ive ever used. Grace, in particular is fantastic at explaining the mechanics of the car in depth but in terms a novice can understand. I always feel as though the prices are fair and the service is superior. They always give me a ride to work or the metro in Alexandria after dropping my car off in the morning. Additionally, when my car had to be kept overnight Bradham set me up with a rental car through Enterprise for free. They made the reservation and paid for it. I will continue to be a loyal customer here as long as I am in the DMV.

I came across Bradham because theyre part of a program that essentially honors the work of other mechanics in case small issuse arise. I had belts replaced in NY and they needed to be tightened shortly after moving to VA. Bradham fixed the issue free of charge due to this program. It was quick and no hassle! The positive experience drove me to return a year later when my old car was about it kick it. They assessed the issues, broke it down for for clearly and even emailed pictures to help explain. The cost to fix the car was quite significant and I was unsure whether to fix or forget it and move on. The mechanics were extremely honest and helpful in the situation neither looking to sway me in either direction, one of which results in a good pay out for them. I was greatly appreciative to everyone involved because they could have very easily chose to dupe me into fixing just for the money. Ive had nothing but great experiences over the last 3 years and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a honest and dependable repair place!!

Knowledgeable and friendly. They will tell you everything your car should needs but arent pushy about getting it done unless its a safety issue.

The mechanics and employees are great here, always attentive and helpful, and try to save you money when they can. I never feel pressured to get any service I cant afford or might not need at the moment, but they are very thorough every time I bring my car in. I highly recommend coming here if you want a good job from trustworthy people.

The only term that adequately characterizes the caliber of customer service that I received courtesy of Mr. Josh Sadr, the general manager and Ms. Grace Sadr, his kindly assistant is exemplary.I was rather impressed by the impeccable neatness of the entire facility, especially that of the main office the moment that I entered it. Mr. Sadr greeted me with a reassuring smile and proceeded to begin his exemplary customer service.I informed him that I required the back-rear tire of my 2016 Infiniti Q50 to be replaced. Since my car required a special run-flat tire, Mr. Sadr informed me that he would have the tire brought over first thing tomorrow morning and have it replaced immediately thereafter; thus allowing me to retrieve my vehicle the very next day.I utilized Roadvantage, a tire replacement service, which ultimately led to a zero out of pocket cost for me. Whats truly commendable is the fact that Mr. Sadr inconvenienced himself by staying on the phone with a Roadvantage representative for nearly a half hour to ensure that I was fully covered.The cherry on the cake was Mr. Sadrs kind gesture of offering to drive me home since the shuttle driver had left for the day. I politely declined since I realized that I would be inconveniencing him if I accepted hours offer. He consequently insisted and thus, I thus duly obliged. We had quite an enlightening conversation on the ride home and planted the seeds for a lifelong friendship.The very next day, I received a polite reminder from Ms. Grace Sadr and consequently returned to collect my car. It was like new. I hopped in and drove away happily ever after.Needless to say that Bradham has secured my business for as long as I shall be in the area.

I first tried Bradham auto 5 years ago when my Onstar aftermarket install from another company stopped working in my Suburban. John looked at it and tightened a connection, fixing it on the spot. We have been taking our three family cars there ever since. All of the mechanics are friendly and knowledgable as is the front desk. We never worry about being charged for unnecessary repairs and everything is always explained thoroughly. Best shop we have ever been to--in three states!

Its often hard for me to leave a 5 star rating but I think this place deserves it. They were honest with me about not needing new brakes and were thorough about explaining what the problem was while also explaining the other things my car needed.

Took my old, falling-apart car there for a number of fairly pricey repairs, and was given a competitive quote, shown diagrams of the failing system to make sure I understood what was being repaired, given practical advice instead of an upsell, and was shown before, during and after pictures of the repairs. Would definitely use them again - exceeded expectations!

This place is a total Rip Off! If you take it in for an oil change they will attempt a wallet flush - which is what happened to me. They actually suggested I replace every single fluid in my car - power steering, AC, brake, transmission for a cool $1500 even though it runs perfectly. This is a standard operating procedure for unethical car repair places. They are very nice which is how they swindle you - LOOK ELSEWHERE!At another appointment i mentioned my car was having trouble starting at times - so obviously recommended new spark plugs for $350 (costs $5 to fix yourself). After the replace - this issue wasnt fixed, meaning they did not actually address the issue/they have no knowledge of what they are doing - they just wanted money.

How many times have you walked into an auto repair shop and the waiting area is so gross you dont even want to be there?! Or for me, being a female, they try to get things past you!? I had the best experience at Bradham, the staff is polite and welcoming, the waiting area is amazing, so clean, fresh coffee, juice boxes for kids, snack, a nice TV that isnt stuck on one channel. They fixed what was needed to pass inspection, but then created a list of other repairs I should look into. Rather than just telling me I should put $3,000 into the car, they went through the list and basically prioritized it all for me. I just cant say enough nice things, I was just surprised automotive places like this existed still! Oh, and I was able to leave my car and walk down to old town with my son and back and the car was done! Not too bad for something that I normally dread doing anytime inspection comes around!

Good and timely service.

I had the pleasure of working with Josh and the team at Bradham Auto over a few days. I came to them with two potential problems. They took a look, called me back and immediately told me that one of my perceived issues wasnt a concern (read: they had me on the hook and opted to tell me the truth over a quick buck). The second problem had several components, and Josh took the time to walk me through each piece and what it would mean to do various combinations of work, and prioritized the needs versus the recommendations for me.I then did what many people do: I called around to get other estimates. When I found a place that offered to do it for a decent amount cheaper (mostly because of a special they had on parts at the moment), I called Josh. He said nothing about the other group (no we do better work than that guy or hes giving you a line type of talk), but simply asked if I would allow him the time to call a few other places himself to see if they were really out of the norm for pricing. He called four different competitors, gave me their names and their prices so I would have a more robust image of what rates were for the various components. He also asked if I would stop by so we could go through any questions I had.I got there, and he talked me through the various parts, drawing out diagrams, getting under my car with me, and going step-by-step through the whole process. He took time to answer every question I had. In the end, I know Bradhams got a reputation for quality, but I was personally in a position where I had to take price over quality. I thought Bradhams employees would then boot me out the door, but Josh took another 15 minutes or so walking me through the various components. As he and another very helpful staff (sorry I forgot his name!) said, we want you to make an informed decision, and to be comfortable with that decision. It doesnt matter if you go with us or someone else, were here to help you make the best decision for you and your car.I know this is a long review, but they deserve someones time. They gave me their full attention over a few days of discussion, made sure I was comfortable with my decision even, and continued to answer my questions even after I told them I wasnt able to go with them on this particular job. They earned my full respect, and theyll be the place I take my car in the future.

My wonderful wife took her car in to get 1) VA emissions 2) an oil change 3) we had our airbag light on and the car wont pass state inspection with itThey recommended to change the spark plugs on a car with 130K plus miles, great lets do it should be like 100 bux if that right? wrong..... cost 300 dollars totals, the spark plugs cost 166.68 just for material.... why would I need spark plugs that nice on a car that old.... sighThey also recommended and performed a BG 44K carbon depletion service.... I looked this up online and the cans are like 30 bux, you pour it into your gas and it cleans it out.... they charged 97.17 for the material and 77.78 for labor (the labor to literally pour this into the gas tank.....) not to mention that carbon depletion and fuel injection cleaning is BS and doesnt actually help your caryou can not trust this business to give you good advice

Im willing to bet the ratings for this place are bought and paid for. I second the setiments of the other person who rated a 1 star. DO NOT TRUST. Took my 98 Honda in for a SIMPLE maintenance inspection, diagnostics reading, and an oil change. They charged me $60 for the oil change and told me they installed a FRAM filter. After checking, it was NOT a fram, but a cheaper brand. They did not inspect the noise Issue I was having in the front left tire well amd didnt even remember me bringing it up with them. TOTAL RIP OFF. I couldve easily paid $30 at a lube place and $40 for a cheap OBD II reader and saved $130. The only thing the mechanic was interested in was buying my car for a friend, which is why he tried to scare me with unnecessary repair recommendations. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.
