Food was good and hot. The young boys sitting us needs to be taught that you dont debate with guest! My friend with me has stage 4 lung cancer. I didnt want to be sitted by the door because its colder there, he said well its all cold. And to please sit us with less people. He said, its all crowded. ( there wasnt but 3 tables being used!!) To me and the way it was said was like dont care if youre comfortable, Im going to sit you where I feel like. Teach the younger generation to be respectful!! Go out of your lazy, antisocial attitude to please your guest and put some pride into your work.
Very great service, rite from the get go. They sat me quickly, in a nice booth. The waitress, was there promptly asking me what kind of refreshment I would like, shortly there after, she took my order. My food was back to my table within minutes. Very accommodating, very cordial, very helpful, and very welcoming. I would absolutely go back. Thank you Southhill Dennys. I was tired, and you made my dinner, very pleasant.
Better than Muscle Maker Grill and less likely to get COVID-19.
Dennys in puyallup is extremely clean with great service. It’s full with customers yet the staff is keeping up with everything. They are doing an amazing job being short staffed.
I have ordered via UberEats twice now and both times the food was outstanding. Actually, it was better than outstanding. The food is hot, flavorful, good portion sizes. It very much reminds me of my grandmas cooking and that is saying a lot. I cant say enough good things about both experiences. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Food was terrible. My son could stick his fork into his scrambles eggs and lift the whole blob off the plate. French toast was so over done it was dry and you couldnt cut it with your fork - had to use a knife! Hadnt been there for a long time and wont go back. Prices were two to three times higher.
The food was great. The problem was that instead of being able to eat at anytime, the Dennys we went too closed the dining room and hour before closing because they cannot find people to work because of this COVID issue. I enjoyed the food.

Horrible experience today. I waited 40+ minutes for our food to take home only to get home and realize they did not give us everything we ordered. Really sucks to waste an hour of your time and leave hungry. Very disappointed in the service and how it was handled. This is not my first bad experience with this location.
Our family has been to this location twice in the past 2 months. Both times, the staff was friendly, quick and the food was the best I have ever had at any Dennys location. The portions are sizeable as well! We will be back for sure next time we pass through!
Excellent service at the Puyallup location. Their prices have increased and the number of menu items has shrunk. Overall, they did a great job with the speed of our order and friendliness of all the staff.

Won’t waste my time or hard earned $$ here ever again...The service was fantastic however because of the outrageous prices, I will never frequent this location again $42 for two plates and 2 cups of coffee???? Are you for real DENNYS? That is highway robbery!!!! I could of bought a weeks worth of lunch with that. For that price, that should’ve been a steak meal not a breakfast and lunch plates!! I can buy a whole can of coffee for the amount they’re charging for one cup of coffee, and that’s not even good coffee.Never again!!
Great area, little bit tucked away behind the scenes in the middle of town. Easy to get to, though. I enjoy the staff’s level of attention. Love going here.

I came in with my boyfriend, daughter and my nephew and we were sat pretty quickly. The hostess asked the people that were sat after us for their drink orders first. She walked by us 4 different times and completely ignored that we were even there and only assisted tables around us. The server than comes by the table next to us to the people that were sat AFTER us and asked if they were ready to order when we had been sat and waiting before them. It was pretty busy so I get it but to be walked by 4 to 5 different time by two employees and not even get our drink order was definitely annoying. We ended up leaving and as we were leaving was when the hostess decided to ask for our drink order.
Ive never liked Sharis to be honest but this ones fine its okay not my favorite but you know everyone has a favorite my orders almost always ready when I come to pick up doordash and thats what I appreciate the most.
Best Dennys Ive ever been too. MUCH cleaner and more home diner feel. Other Dennys Ive been to always feel dirty and like an old truck stop :/

The food was cold .. and this has been my rag on this Dennys specifically for some time.. the place was full of screaming children when we walked in..Thankful that they left shortly after we were seated. I would also suggest that the bus people realize that people do not want to eat with dishes being clanked and thrown into the bus tray and that dirty dishes kinda smell icky too. I almost left before we ordered.. I have no idea why my husband insists on giving the Dennys any more chances. Each time I am dragged into the place I am sorely dissapointed..

If you order take out please remember, it is not their responsibility to give you everything you ordered and purchased. If they forget anything than its your responsibility to come back to their Dennys to get what you paid for. If you choose to buy here than keep that in mind. 👍

Giving a 5 star, just for the waitress. When my grandmother comes into town (and she has a lot lately since my father passed away 3 months ago) she loves to go to Dennys. Everytime we have gone, this one specific waitress is there running around from table too table, cleaning them, getting drinks, and taking peoples orders (while remembering them without writing it down) and I find it so amazing. She is always right on top of everything, giving me a refill without asking and before my drink got to half way empty. The first time I went there and noticed how amazing she was we had a party of 5 adults and 3 kids and she still remembered everyones drink and food orders without writing down and never let our drinks get empty. I dont know her name, but will definitely get it the next time I am in there and tell the management how amazing she is. The staff overall is very friendly and very quick at getting orders out.
The place was clean. The food was cooked to perfection the hosts and our Waiter were friendly but we had a toddler with us they didnt bring him a child chair or booster seat, our Waiter only checked with us once. I was halfway through my dinner when he brought our check. The men at our table were finished. I waved at the group of employees that were at the register for more coffee. They turned and pretended that they didnt see me. Maybe they were having a team meeting, but we werent the only table ignored the other table were waiting to place an order.
Very happy with the service, food, and cleanliness of resturant. Prices are very affordable. Recommend this Dennys if you are out and about. Handling the COVID situation very well.

Not your typical Dennys this place opened at 6:30 am probably because of COVID-19. Servers were very friendly and actually talked to the customers like they were your friend. Food was normal tasting nothing special.
In Tacoma Washington, you see Chinese, Thia, and Japanese everywhere, no meat and 3s, so Dennys helped so much in getting us a great brunch. I tipped the waitress $20 cash for doing such great service.
Mmmmmm the food was ok but the service was bad when the lady came in to give us are soups she spilled half of it on the table and she made US clean it up. The soup was we got it mostly filled by water. When they asked me why I wanted to drink I said Sprite when they came back to give me my Sprite it was just gas water so I asked to give me another Sprite the waiter I said oh I need to change the bag real quick and I was like whaaaat

The food was average and as expected but the service was terrible. It was in the morning and it wasnt that crowded but there was only one waitress. She was either in a bad mood or maybe she was overwhelmed because of short stuff, either way she was being snapping and bossy to all customer dinning in. No a great experience at all.

Service from our waitress (Jin) was nice but there was just so many people in the area with a lot of loud phones from across the room and a couple seats over. The management didnt seem to care much and doesnt really smile or talk much every time we go there to eat, just drops people off at the table and leaves.

The woman that works here alone at night (Deb?)is amazing !!! She was super personable and hospitable and the reason Id definitely return. Anyone that comes here should give her a large tip!!!

Had breakfast with a friend this morning. The Santa Fe Skillet was delicious and the staff was super friendly and attentive. They were also conscientious of the covid thing and cleaned well, and wore masks. Second time eating there and theyre consistent. Will go again.

This is formerly some other restaurant loke a Sharis as it doesnt have any of the classic Dennys design structure. Huge place, had extra rooms for meeting space. Easily could sit 250-300 people in the entire place if the pandemic wasnt an issue. Food was Dennys. Not great, not bad, just predictable and safe.Sodas are pricey at nearly $4, so figure paying about $20 a person for a meal.
We ordered our food and they waitress almost forgot my daughters pancakes then completely forgot about my hash browns and when it came time to pay it sat at my table for 20 min waiting for my waitress to come by do I could pay for the meal, the food was great but service was bad.

There is nostalgia and memories associated with Dennys. Dennys is my childhood breakfast place either on a lazy sunday or while traveling. I love Dennys for the moments I have with my loved ones and I am so happy to report that every after so many years, the food, service and diner vibe still holds true.Whats not to like about Dennys? I have tried their menu items over and its all still good. You get what you see and you will always feel satisfied.Dennys is an all American diner with the best to offer with no frills attached. Its straightforward, warm, cozy - still represents the America I grew up in. Maybe thats why its still close to my heart.This establishment or with any Dennys, you honestly cannot go wrong with.
