New experience with ice cream. We enjoyed the ice cream. Staff were nice. Would go again.

Unique and awesome experience. One of the best places ice cream places in the area. The staff is very friendly and add to the experience. The oreo option was delicious.You are able to watch them make the rolled treat right in front of you. I highly recommend this for a sweet treat!

Amazing! Not only does this place have Boba, which I have been missing since moving to Tennessee, but theyre super courteous and friendly. Not to mention that the shop itself is so cute! Definitely recommendation!

Gorgeous young red-haired lady at the front counter was very helpful. In spite of the fact that this was my first time visiting, I made good choices with her help and enjoyed my experience.

My favorite is brown sugar milk tea! It’s so good! I have not tried their rolled ice cream but I plan to when my birthday comes around!

Husband took our son and this place was really nice and not too bad on pricing especially with 3 free toppings and additional .50 cents extra when you have a few more kids to treat. Clean and well lit while keeping the kids happy with the colors and decor. Hoping after covid we will still be able to have these places to enjoy especially in summer !

Rolled ice cream is definitely a hit for me. Flavor is always good and this place is consistent which is a plus.

Its always a delight to go to sweet retreat, and I always feel like special care is put into my order. My favorite thing is cheesecake ice cream with sprinkles and condensed cream. I can 100% recommend it, and its good to support a small business.

Went to this place with my mom and dad, it was interesting because they have rolled ice cream and Ive never had this kind of ice cream before It tastes a lot like regular ice cream and it also reminds me of froyos because you can customize what you want on the ice cream. The service is very nice and its awesome to watch them make the ice cream as well

The staff are very freindly . The ice cream and tea is amazing. I go here to get the brown sugar milk tea all the time and I love it. The building is so cozy and lovley inside and I recommend coming here for boba tea or rolled ice cream especially now that summers here.

The ice cream was amazing!!! I came in right at close (I know, shame on me for being that person) but they were happy to help anyways! Everything was perfect! I got the peanut butter with oreo, m&ms, and chocolate syrup on top. I love the option of having your Oreos in the ice cream or on the top since Im not a fan of oreos in the ice cream itself. The chocolate syrup tasted great, Im usually very picky about the syrups as some taste cheap, but that wasnt the case here! Im so glad I gave into my pregnancy craving and came in tonight!

I work at one of the restaurants behind sweet retreat and finally got the chance to go in. The staff are SO friendly and sweet! The boba and rolled ice cream are both absolutely wonderful too! Highly recommend this sweet spot!

I haven’t tried the ice cream yet, so the 5 stars is for the boba tea! I have tried bubble tea all over Knoxville, 4-5 different locations... this place is by far the best! Some places have that nasty coffee/licorice taste and it turns the milk brown. I have spoken to friends about it, and I’m told it’s from the tapioca not being drained/strained enough. THIS place however, does it RIGHT! The tapioca is clean and sticky, not slimy and gooey! I also commend them on flavor! The Honeydew tastes so sweet and yummy, you can tell they don’t skimp on the ingredients. I hope you guys stick around, because it’s been so hard trying to find good boba tea!!! Thank you for bringing a little more culture to this small town!

I was super excited to try this place! I love rolled ice cream! Me and a friend had come in and were ignored to the point where we almost left, but I really wanted to try this place so I was pretty patient. The presentation of the ice cream itself was adorable, but the Oreos placed on the top were stale, the ice cream was very underwhelming and not creamy at all and we both ended up throwing our ice cream away. The over all experience was very disappointing 😔

Worst icecream ever! I wouldnt have even given it one star if it werent required to review. They use the cheapest icecream they can find which tastes nasty. The oreos were stale and they didnt even chop them up and mix them in the icecream. Waste of $7. I threw it in the trash. If they want this business to succeed they need to purchase icecream that tastes good or make it themselves which is what you expect from a rolled icecream shop. Ive literally never had worse ice cream.
