Always have what I need. Staff is very helpful. They have the largest inventory of the stuff I need a from hardware store. And they have this bin of very inexpensive ($2-$10 ) neat gadgets and tools I dont really need, but would make certain tasks much easier if I ever need to do a project. Think a collection of 3/8 drive socket ratchet extention bars, 1 1/2 - 10 long, for around $6 for the set. They arent Craftsman, but theyll work. Nice place.

The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Ive met most of the employees and management, and from the managers, Diana and Jeff, on down, they are all fantastic!If a product on sale is sold out, the team of cashiers are quick to get you a raincheck for the item. The sales floor team can take you straight to anything you need sold in the store, and can help with other various things, like key cutting and putting together your newly purchased grill.Edit: it loses a star, because it is too hot in the store. If you are doing an outdoor project, you dont notice, but, when you are doing indoor projects, well, I dont like going into a store that is 80 degrees.

The True Value store at Lomas & San Mateo is terrific. Super helpful and friendly people along with a huge selection. It is great to get help and finding what you need.

Dont have your open sign on if you arent open. Common sense helps there, that way you dont have costumers trying to get in only to be greeted by a locked door

I really like this store because they not only keep gardening supplies all year, but they also stock a lot of hard to find, old fashioned items like meat grinders, apple peeler/corers, canning supplies, and things like that. Its a lot wider variety than most other hardware stores. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the store is well organized and its easy to find the things you need.

I normally have great service at the Eubank store but the Lomas store was without merit. Nobody greeted me and when I asked for help, I was told on what aisle to look. I was on my hands and knees trying to locate a faucet part, another employee came down the aisle and had to step over me to get by. No offer to help. During checkout they did not have my rewards number on file.

Great experience! From start to finish! I went in to get some bar and chain oil for my chainsaws. I was greeted by an associate named Kourtney. She told me where the Bar and chain oil was located. After I asked about obtaining a larger quantity she referred me to Dylan the store manager. After a brief conversation I was told the quantity I needed would have to be special ordered but I was able to secure the stock on hand as well as what was available from the store on Eubank. After a week Dylan called me to update me on the status of my order as well as let me know about some other specials going on that might interest me considering my needs. After a couple of weeks I was notified that my order was in. Great service! Great communication! Great customer service! Thank you Dylan and Kourtney for making my visit exceptional!

True Value hardware is one of my go to places for most any of my hardware needs. The selection is great, the staff is friendly, and I dont have to deal with a big box store. Give them a try the next time that you need these types of products.

Worker sold me the wrong part, I knew it was gna be pricey as the store is. I just ended up taking new parts off of it to make older part to work. And Got another-same part at a different store less than half the price & the right one. Cause I needed two of them.

Ive finally decided that I prefer True Value over Ace Hardware (just across the street). The staff is friendlier and more knowledgeable.

Surprisingly good selection of random items. If youre looking for something specific definitely come here before Ace up the road. I was able to find any type of bolt/screw I needed for working on my bikes which is a rarity!

I LOVE THIS STORE. Its close by, the sales staff are knowledgeable and it says a lot about ANY store if you see the same faces year after year! Prices are as good if not often better than big box stores or online. I often just go in to walk the aisles and get ideas, and staff are so friendly and willing to share their own experience and ideas! Just one of my favourite places to spend an hour... and some money, keeping it in the neighbourhood!

This is my go-to hardware store. Its difficult to comprehend the variety of items available here. From incredibly specific hardware applications to cleaning supplies and even kitchen tools, this store has everything you need. I cant tell you how many times Ive discovered something here that I thought I would have to special order. At this specific location, the staff is exceptionally helpful and they really know their inventory. I seriously love this store.

After moving to a new home, I was living closer to Lomas True Value than the bigger Home Improvement Department stores I usually go to. I have been to True Value several times now and I am amazed how helpful the employees are; each and every one of them. Also, the cahiers are super nice! I really enjoy shopping at Lomas True Value, especially since I recently purchased a building that always seem to need something.

They have the most amazing selection of specialized glue, wood filler, and epoxy that Ive ever seen. If youre doing funky improvisational repairs on an older home, like for instance wood sashes or antique doors... This is the place to go for a sturdy fill and fix solution.

I was looking for some hardware that I didnt know what to call it. A gentleman named Howard helped me find what I needed and suggested alternatives to what I thought I wanted. I really appreciate the time he took to help me get what I needed for my project. Thanks Howard for the help and suggestions.

Im not exaggerating when I say that every time Ive gone to a larger retailer looking for a specific item which they dont stock or are out of stock, I always find it here. Today was swamp cooler covers. Lowes - no. Walmart - no. True Value - just name your size! Maybe its just fate that they always seem to have exactly what Im looking for WHEN Im looking for it. Staff is friendly and helpful, AND they carry unique Lodge cast iron items, which usually get me into trouble!

Went in Saturday to purchase some speciality bolts & expected to pay more than than normal. I had to pay $1.69 each compared to .36 cents each at my local bolt store. Highway robbery at Lomas True Value.
