Shane is the most knowledgeable, friendly and honest service technician we’ve ever dealt with. We bought our Sears garage door three years ago with his recommendations and have been happy with it every day since its installation. It’s incredibly quiet — can’t be heard in the guest bedroom next to the garage at all — and so thankful we chose a door with windows. Sunshine provides all the light we need during the day. Shane and Sears is a wonderful combination.

Adam, the technician, was very knowledgeable, very courteous young man, honest and I will definately use this companys service again, hopefully not any time soon.....gave me very valuable information about garage door openers, etc.thank you for your service. I forgot to add, I called another company and tech said I had to install entire motor, adjust springs, etc.....total fee @1,200. Without adjustments...said parts were not made anymore, NOT TRUE. I purchased the part and Adam installed it. After my visit from Shane I KNOW the 5 star reviews are real and the lonely 1 star review is not real. That unfavorable review is likely a disgruntled competitor that cant compete.

I had a great experience with Shane, he had a quick response time and was flexible with my schedule, he was also able to inspect my garage door and offered suggestions and best options for my particular needs. In the past I’ve come across companies that only want to make the sale and didn’t care about the customer’s best interest this is NOT the case with Sears garage door repair. I would 100% recommend Shane especially when great customer service is hard to find.

Mr. Shane Clark’s Sears Garage Service was so excellent I don’t know where to begin. He had time in his schedule so he showed up the same day I called! I had a crew working on a re-model and the owner of that company knew Shane from previous work experiences and vouched for Mr. Clark’s experienced and ethical work history. Now I do also. The garage door was installed in the 1970’s. He had to make one of the parts to replace a broken part. His work was quick, he cleaned up small remnants from the broken part, and explained that the repair wasn’t “standard “ due to the doors age and lack of “standard “ parts. His price for labor and parts was more than fair. I RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES TO ANYONE !

Shane was such a nice guy and a pleasure to do business with. I called him with my concern of a roller frequently coming off track. He made it out to my house the very next morning and gave his recommendations on how to fix the problem. Adam was exceedingly professional and genuine. The apointment’s purpose was to tune up my old garage door/opener. Despite my opener blowing up after he adjusted the garage door, he kept his composure and went on the install a brand new opener. Quite satisfied with all and the new Lineer with LED lights and smart phone link up is a huge improvement over the “up in smoke” Genie opener. Not what I expected to happen, but all good in the end. I’m happy.

Great, Fast service. Called late on a Thursday and they were here Friday morning to replace garage door opener, Adam also pointed out the condition of the door wheels, we replaced those as well. All completed in just over 90 min. Will call again if we ever have door issues

My garage door got caught on something and became completely derailed & the tracks yanked off the wall. My garage door was totally helter-skelter. Sears garage door was a joy to work with. They scheduled their estimate and showed up when they said they would (which can be rare). Once we decided to go with them, they were always in contact about my parts order and were clear about when they were going to install.For installation, they showed up exactly when they said they were going to, and left my garage cleaner then when they found it. Excellent experience! Adam arrived on time and was well prepared to address the buckling in my garage. He also explained my builder grade spring could be the next wearable item to cause issues. Lo and behold, while he was onsite, the spring gave out. Adam had the parts to repair for well under what other bids had been. Entire job including the spring cost 421.76! I now have a working garage door again!

One door head a sensor issue and we had not opened it in a year and the other door stopped working and would just click. Just before they showed up, I got the door that had been working to open again. Adam, the tech came and got both doors working and changed a spring that had been installed on the wrong side. The work was done quickly and we were totally happy. We will call them with any other garage door issues.

Shane made a special trip from ABQ to Santa Fe to service my garage, without him having any other service calls in the area. My garage door stuck anout a yard above ground, visible from the street. Concerned re potential theft & wind-blown debris I wanted repair asap. Googled Sears garage door repair, chose to phone Shane C. for help. I asked about a free estimate Id noticed on his website and he said was only for new g-door purchases ... he said hed be in my neighbor later same day and come by my home despite his usual policy. Took a few minutes or so to diagnose the problem [a badly worn gear], gave a repair quote ($) I agreed to. Encountered a couple unexpected difficulties he found work-rounds to. Overall I found Shane highly competent,friendly, and he impressed me as a person of integrity.

I checked out reviews of several garage repair shops to select one to replace my broken Torquemaster spring on my double-car steel garage door. After calling four shops based on good reviews, Sears & a competitor were my finalists based on fair competitive pricing & professional, knowledgeable, & forthright answers by both to my questions. It was close, but I chose Shane at Sears; I opted for a double torsion spring conversion, & his tech Adam came timely the next day (11/1/19). Adam was efficient, answered all my questions, & left me with a good impression of the quality of his work. I waited a couple months (12/30/19) after the repair was completed to write this review in order to see how the garage door operated over time & during warm as well as freezing wet weather; I am happy to report that the door operates extremely well, & I would have no problem either (a) using Shane & Adam at Sears again for any other garage door repairs or (b) recommending them for their work expertise.
