Please do not spend your money at Jareds. Out of my entire engagement, wedding and marriage, the only regret I have is choosing to purchase our rings from Jareds.When you go in to PURCHASE, they will give you the best customer service possible. But once they have your money, that great service goes out the window.They do offer a lifetime warranty on the rings, but only if you take your rings in for inspection every 6 months (totally understandable and reasonable!). My ring already lost stone a couple years ago, so I am very proactive about making sure we take them in on schedule. And every single time, without fail, they have been rude, snotty and pretty much treat you like you are wasting their time for following their criteria! Now with covid it has been even more impossible. They are doing everything by appt only (again, totally understandable); however, they can get me in in 3 days to BUY something, but they cant get us scheduled to do an inspection on something we already spent close to 5k on. My husband called 5 weeks ago to schedule, they told him they didnt have anything available and they would call back in 2 weeks to schedule us. 5 weeks later, we have yet to hear from anyone (mind you, we are already 1 year behind on our inspection because covid hit right before when we were supposed to go in for the last one) and they guy gets snotty with me for calling them out on their crummy service.

DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! A long 8 year story short and getting corporate involved, they sell chinese junk! They are more concerned with meeting their numbers then they are providing excellent customer service and selling quality jewelry. All you are paying for is the name.The general manager here.....I was raised if I have nothing nice to say, to not say anything at all. Ill just leave it at that. Her customer service is non-existent. I am having to wait 2 weeks while she went on vacation in order to receive my refund for the second ring. This 2 week waiting game also prevented corporate from processing my return for the first ring bought back in 2012. (See how ridiculous this is?)I called her today to let her know we are coming in this evening around 5pm. She then told me thats around other associates lunch times. (Deep breathe) I, the customer have danced around this womans schedule, have waited 2 weeks to get my money back and then she tells me to dance around it again.....OBVIOUSLY she has no idea what customer service means. She should be ASKING ME when I can come in and making that work FOR ME.To all who read my review TRUST ME do yourselves a favor and avoid this place like its the plague. I wish I looked up reviews on this place 8 years ago.This location, the sales people, the awful general manager has cost me my money, my time, more of my money, and more of my time. We all know those two are very important things that we dont just like to give out for free and Ive done it not once, but twice! Not to mention, half the time I have been without a wedding ring.I have attached two pictures of the SECOND ring, mind you, that we bought in February of 2018 and after wating for it to be custome sized, receiving it in March. These are two different pictures, 30 days apart. My first ring was completely different and had baggetts on the sides which those kept falling out as well. Yes, we did purchase the extended warranty but whats the point if half the time the ring is in the shop? The extended warranty should be a piece of mind. Not something that you actually have to use every 30 days. Like I had said in the beginning. Chinese junk. All you are buying is the name.

Went in to get my wifes wedding ring repaired, and each time the girl who was waiting on me really wasnt sure how much it would be, however she kept going back to her iPad and the $ grew by the second. She finally settled with a price and, then returned and stated I made a mistake I forgot to add something else to the repair ??? The Cost was through the roof, but I needed it fixed . She was unexperienced and not friendly at all... I also on top of the $1000.00 repair I bought another $800.00 worth of jewelry form them as well. As soon as I Payoff my debt to them Im done and will go to KAY, Zales, or a local jeweler instead of this Place. Take this review seriously before purchasing there.

This place is great. My fiancé purchased an engagement ring at a Jared in another state. The ring wasn’t my size so when we came back home to Albuquerque, we made an appointment to have it resized. When we first got there, they said they had no record of an appointment for us but they’d try and fit us in. We showed them the confirmation email of our appointment and they figured it out that someone made the appointment for us but didn’t inform the rest of the staff or something. Either way, they still tended to us and apologized for the confusion. It didn’t take long even though they weren’t prepared for us to come and in and they were busy (this was the day after Christmas and with all the Covid craziness). Got my finger sized and the ring sent back to the repair shop for sizing. I was expecting it to take weeks because I’ve heard before that resizing can take a long time. They told me it would likely be ready the next day. We ended up getting a call later that same day and they told us it was ready. So it didn’t even take a whole day! Awesome! But we actually couldn’t come to pick it up until the next day. So we scheduled to come get it at 2pm the next day. We got there, I came in, they gave me my ring in a brand new bag with another new ring box (so now I have 2 nice Jared ring boxes) I tried the ring, it fit beautifully and was incredibly done and resized PERFECTLY. the ring didn’t have any imperfections or damage from resizing. It looks brand new and perfect. I’ve read a lot of bad reviews on this place but I think a lot of people just get upset when they can’t get exactly what they want when they want it. If you follow their rules, and schedule an appointment for the things you’re supposed to, then you’ll be happy with the service. Thanks Jared for resizing my ring and making this whole experience fast and pleasurable. The staff is all very lovely and friendly and I would 100% shop here again.

BEWARE Jareds ring sizing service. My fiance purchased my engagement and wedding rings from another store, but we took them to Jared to be sized. Unfortunately, both rings were damaged in the resizing process. The jeweler left visible seams in both rings and both rings were not circular. The engagement ring also had a bump that was not soldered properly, leaving the inside bumpy rather than smooth. Both rings were also not sized to the size ordered. When I alerted the salesperson to the issue, he dismissively told me that since we had not purchased the ring at Jared, if I wanted them worked on again, I would have to pay another fee for each ring (for a total upwards of $300). I took the rings to another jeweler who told me that not only were the rings improperly handled, but that there should absolutely not be ANY visible seams. They also said that the Jared jeweler had not used the proper temperature for platinum, which resulted in the problems, including the seems which were liable to crack over time. Thankfully, the rings were repaired and look better than brand new by the other jeweler. I called Debra, the Jared manager, who was polite but did not offer a refund (because she was not told about the issue until after I already went somewhere else - which is fine). She told me that they stand behind their work and have a six month guarantee on the work. But, as I told her, why would we go back to the place which so badly damaged the rings in the first place? No one, even an untrained eye, would have thought that work was acceptable.Do yourself a favor - dont start here, and you wont end up in the same position as me.

Extremely disappointed. We have been customers since the opening day at the Albuquerque store. Purchasesd multiple items over the years including our wedding rings. We have attempted to stop in several times over the past few months for jewelry inspirations and cleaning. Noticed the store is not staffed with enough personnel. No one ever bothered to inquire with us about our needs. Not recommended!

Stay away from this location!My wife and I have been valued customers for over 7 years. We have bought 1000’s in Jareds merchandise and have only spent our money here.I called a few days ago and spoke with a man who told me that since I had lost my diamond earring I could come in with the other to get half the value toward another set. I drove all the way to this location off of Louisiana in Albuquerque to come in and do this. When I got there the manager told me that it rang up “not able to trade in” and told me there was nothing she could do. She did not try to help in anyway, after I was told something else on the phone.She told me to “take it somewhere else and get money for scraps!” I told her to throw it away.If my business is not worth a 300$ pair of earrings then I’ll throw my business away too.Don’t come here if you need anything done for you as a long term customer. I will be telling others to steer clear.

The shop had a very nice lay out with a lot of options. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a well dressed, friendly lady. She asked what we were looking for and what our favorite style was and room us right to what we wanted to see. After a little conversation she realized there were other styles we may like and was correct and knowledgeable in the product. Ultimately a pleasant shopping experience.

I went to this location several years ago to get my engagement ring re-sized (it was purchased out of state from a private boutique and I needed a local place to assist with it). While I was there awaiting service, I observed a salesperson assisting a couple with their engagement ring purchase. The couple had a specific budget that they were very clear on. When the salesperson showed them rings outside of their price range, they reiterated their budget to the salesperson. Then, a second salesperson came over and the two put pressure on the couple to look at more expensive rings. I overheard statements like You only do this once, You cant put a price on true love, Shell wear this ring forever, and Its an investment. I was DISGUSTED. I wanted to run over there and tell the couple not to listen to a single word. To assure them that their budget is just fine. That an engagement ring is just a symbol, a wedding is just an event, and that they should stick to their budget and take their money elsewhere where the sales representatives will LISTEN and respectfully serve their clients. But, I didnt. I left before the couple did, so I have no idea if they ended up purchasing a ring-- within their budget or above it. I, however, have never been back. To Jareds team: If you read this, I sincerely hope you have reconsidered your sales strategy since we last met.

They were professional and knowledgable when selling my my fiances wedding ring, however, thats where the service and professionalism ended. We have been back 3 times due to a faulty head, damaged prongs and gashes put into the ring by them when cleaning or repairing the ring. Then I get a call to come pick up her wedding band and it would be $300 less because they were having a sale. When I show up to get the band they told they had no records of the call and they didnt know what promotion it was. The girl, Savannah, was extremely rude and said she would let a manager know but that she knows they wont do anything. Before you invest in an expensive piece of jewelry I recommend doing some research and going elsewhere.

My wife took her ring in today to have it inspected and fixed according to the warranty. She is very busy and with our two young kids its difficult to get in to the store. She was patient waiting for assistance in the busy store, and tells me that the gal who helped her was super nice. However, she wanted to ask the jeweler what could be done about one of the attached bands that clearly doesnt look as nice as the other. Get everything handled at once since they would have to take the ring apart for the original work. Anyway, when we purchased the middle engagement setting we then also paid to have Jared Sauter her other two rings together and paid a hefty price to fix everything about those two rings before they were attached. The jeweler comes out and tells my wife that he doesnt want to inherit someone else problem and that she would have to pay to make an entirely new ring! WTH!? So my wife calls me in tears to tell me she took the ring and left because the jeweler just kept repeating that he didnt want to inherit someone elses problem. HORRIBLE. This coming after we paid to have everything done including moving the center stone to the new set... one week later the entire head including center stone fell off, and this dude says to my wife we dont want to inherit someone else problem. Lead jeweler you are the problem!

My husband purchased my engagement ring here in December 2012 and paid over $10k for it. One year after purchase the center stone fell out, thankfully I was able to find it and Jared fixed the ring. I go in regularly for inspection (every six months) so there is a guarantee when stones fall out that they have to be replaced. 9 months after the center stone fell out, several small stones in the halo fell out, I went in to Jared and asked that they rework all of the mountings on the ring so that this would not happen anymore, but alas here I am a mere three months later with my ring in the shop as more stones had fallen out. The reason that Jared gets two stars instead of one is that they keep fixing it, but I am of the mind that a ring of that price and supposed quality should not need this much fixing. I would warn potential buyers against buying here. They say they make quality jewelry but I could not disagree more. The guarantee is nice, but when buying a piece (like an engagement ring) that is supposed to last your whole life why would you take the chance on bad quality? Take your money somewhere else.

I always had good luck with this Jared until I took my Tag Heuer in recently to be serviced. I dropped the watch of two months ago and Im still watchless. When I call the staff gives me fits saying if it were in they wouldve called me. Meanwhile no on can tell me where the watch is. The staff then tells me we barely gave authorization 5 weeks ago but Matt had called me two weeks prior to that for the same authorization. Total lack of knowledge and professionalism in trying to locate and get my watch back to me. I understand its the holiday season but I want to know where my watch is and how much longer this is going to take!

The most irresponsible staff. My husband bought a ring from them unfortunately and the trade in was almost impossible, their policy is the most consumer unfriendly I have ever heard of. Will never ever be buying anything from them. Don’t get stuck with them and their scams. On other hand I bought a ring from Mark diamonds and not only was I very happy with the piece but the staff was super helpful.

Horrible customer service. Went in to get some pricing for an engagement ring, was treated like my money was no good there. I was assisted by a lady named FIA who advised she was the store mgr. I obviosly had questions since this was my first purchase of a ring. The whole time she was rude and very short. There was another gentleman there (tall, hispanic, big built) who also was rude,when I apporached him to get some assistance he advised another asociateI think this GUY needs help. What a way to treat customers. I have called the location trying to get a hold of the manager and I have not obtained a call back. I will never EVER step foot at this establishment. Unbelievable. I have purchased many many pieces here, and have experienced hit or miss service. I have left upset just as many times as i have left feeling good about what i just did. I dont think all jewelry stores are like this. Aside from the instore service being worth far less than the dollars spent, the online sales is even worse. Please save yourself the trouble and do not make any purchase on line if you dont want the wife seeing the gift before the anniversary, as they refuse to sent the product to anywhere other than the billing address on your card. I do believe its time to find a new jeweler.

Terrible customer service . once had went there to get a gold braclet fixed and almost immediatly the guy lost the gold link later telling me the cleaning lady moved it . also had a gold necklace soldered shortly after it broke in the same spot . I went back and told them it broke where they repaired it and they told me that wasnt where they fixed it and basically called me a liar.

I took my Tissot watch in to have the battery replaced, the technician did not seal the case correctly, so water leaked into the watch. When I took it back to have it repaired, I had to pay for the repairs! Thats pretty poor customer service in my opinion. Be wary if you purchase or have your timepiece repaired at this location, they dont stand behind their work.
