I had an outstanding experience at PC experts. I had been putting off replacing my battery, mousepad and wifi connectivity issue for a long time. Almost considered buying a new computer. He was able to get everything ordered for me and replaced it the same day I brought it in. My computer runs like new and Im very happy with the price I paid. I’m still not sure why the rating is so high. Maybe paid reviews? The owner responds in a disgusting manner and the “customer service” is no where to be found. Take a look at the responses from reviews that did not find this place to be a 5/5, it’ll tell you about their customer service. I’m all about helping smaller businesses, but not when the associates are disrespectful and unprofessional.If you want something fixed, head to another small store location as things are much more affordable. I found a case at this location that was $100 more expensive than another store in town. Get your money worth!

Brought in my MacBook Air after another shop gave me the runaround for three weeks. I dropped it off at 1pm here and was up and running by 4pm! Great service, super fast, and very polite and professional. I would highly recommend for any computer needs! Other shop told me it was going to need $400 in repair, got my laptop done for less than half that!

I took my 2011 iMac in after dealing with a ridiculous amount of lag and having to shutdown constantly due to applications freezing. I had taken it to the Geek Squad and all they did was charge me to tell me that it was running as intended. I took it to the guys at PC Expert on a Friday, and by the afternoon they told me what was wrong with it and how to fix it. They told me what options they had and how much it would be for different options (ended up going with a new performance HDD, 1 TB, and 8 GB RAM, a significant improvement over the stock HDD). I didnt get this level of attention from the Geek Squad. They had it ready the following day; I plugged in and immediately noticed the difference (booted up in under a minute, something I had not seen before). Professional customer service, quick turnaround, and good results. I will be returning with my laptop next time.

I cant say enough good things about PC Expert! They truly know what their doing and they clearly know their stuff. Prior to taking my Mac Book Pro in, I had taken another laptop to be repaired. Excellent service, so i went back. I brought in an older Mac Book a couple of days ago, and Vu had it up and running like new in under and hour and didnt charge me an arm and a leg for it. Vu is the best and I am so thankful for his help.

I called this business because we needed a broken earphone prong removed from a chrome book. He asked me to bring it in to see what he could do. I drove clear across town only to find a person who was not interested in helping me, but only to make $30.00. Which in my opinion, is an outrageous price. I will never return to this business. I got it repaired at the flea market for $10.00.

Best to be one of the worst stores Ive ever been to for computer printer repair. I walked in and the person who work there was extremely rude it says they buy computer systems in parts and I have a system thats still completely up-to-date and the guy completely blew me off and then followed me around the store while Im trying to buy components from him like treating me like Im trying to steals from him when Im trying to buy things with cash. at the same time he didnt even bother to look at my system and blew me off for some woman who walked in and told me that it wasnt the best store for me to be shopping at it I dont know how he stays in business.

I had dropped my computer a while ago and my computer started taking longer and longer to boot up. One day it finally forced me to do this update and it got stuck in the operating mode. I was devastated.I started to Goggle computer repairman and found PC Expert. I called him and he told me to bring it in after work. I got off late but he waited on me. He explained to me what was wrong with it and made a few suggestions as to what would best. I trusted his advice and my computer is up and running just like new less than 24 hours later.He even brought my computer to me because I had to work and couldnt get to the store before he closed. He texted me and did a follow up the next few days about my computer. I highly recommend PC Expert to anyone because he will give you quality work and excellent customer service.

As a student, finding a cheap, reliable, and HIGH quality computer repair service is difficult. Yet, I found it all at PC Expert. Finals week was here, and my laptop got infected by severe viruses that were DIFFICULT to remove, which affected all of the programs and software I used. Thankfully, not only did PC expert removed the viruses in a timely fashion (during FINALS WEEK) and restored ALL of my important programs/software, but they were considerate enough to give me a generous discount. At other places like Geek Squad, I would be charged $250+. But PC Experts, a high quality store with STELLAR customer service charged me less than that, despite the virus severity. I will in the future, recommend PC Experts to anyone. And if I have another computer problem, you bet I will be a committed customer. What understanding and considerate individuals they are. Came in because I was frustrated troubleshooting the issues I had with my new PC build. Was a huge mess with stuff scattered everywhere, and the technician there immediately tried to get me to pay $50 for diagnosis even though they have a sign outside that says theyll do that for free. On top of that he asked very simple questions about the state of the computer that left me thinking I know more about computer repair than him. When I told him one of my problems was that I needed to get secure boot working for Windows Hello, he pestered me with questions asking what Windows Hello was and if it was an OS (its not). After I explained to him what it was, he said the only way to fix it was to reinstall Windows. (When I finally found a way to fix it myself, it took the built-in Windows tool about ten seconds). If you dont know anyone who can help you, I would still go to Geek Squad over this place. At least there they have some standard of cleanliness.Edit: In regards to the owners response, you can tell that instead of trying to make good or reconcile the techs behavior, hes blaming me saying I brought in trash that I messed up severely and that it would take him 8 hours to fix. Even though I straight up said in my review the issue that he didnt know anything about, took me about 10 seconds to fix once I knew what exactly to Google. I understand if your ego doesnt let you accept that a mistake was made with regards to a potential customer, but to throw a fit because you dont know what youre talking about is not acceptable.

About a month before I left for college I decided to build my first computer, I did a pretty good job but something wasnt right. I took it into PC expert and they took a look at it. I was then told that I needed a new motherboard and CPU because the pins got messed up. Vu told me that if i got the new motherboard and CPU he would install it for me. I brought it in a couple weeks later with the required parts and it was fully running the next day. Couldnt be more pleased with the finished product. Vu is a pro and knows what he is doing. I had an excellence experience at PC Expert. Vu took my laptop and fixed it the same day. It was fixed earlier than he said it would be. Also because I couldnt remember my passwords, I went home and he reinstalled software on line as well as my connection to the printer. He really did an excellent job, he is conscientious, making sure everything was working perfectly. I will definitely use him again as well as refer my friends to him.

These guys revived my Vista desktop machine (Vista isnt as bad as everybody says) for a fair price. Later we bought 2 used Win 7 laptops from them (HP and Lenovo) at great prices. Weve asked a bunch of questions and have enjoyed the way they were answered. I almost wish I needed another laptop because it was so satisfying to deal with PC Experts.

Vu is a great guy and he has never sold me anything I didnt need. I have had computers that were crashing and he fixed them enough to get me by so that I could get a working computer... which he sold me for a screaming deal. He has also resurrected our home computer which was blue screening. He is the Jesus Christ of computers.

This place is fantastic!After seeing the great reviews from this place, I decided to take my computer over to PC Expert - even though it is a ways from my house.I called them to let them know that we were honestly trying to get over there, but traffic over to the West Side was nuts and that we might not make it there by the time he closes. (How the heck do you West Siders do that crazy commute every day?!?!?)Vu replied, No problem; Ill be here. We didnt end up getting there until nearly 6:30, but he was there waiting for us and was ever so kind - even though we had been the ones keeping him waiting.He told us that hed take a look at the computer and give me a call the next day to run over the cost options to see if we wanted to go ahead and get it fixed.Well, I got a call from Vu alright, but it was to let me know that the computer had already been fixed and there was no charge - other than the agreed diagnostic fee.I am so freaking happy with the service here. I would highly recommend PC Expert to anyone needing computer work done.

I would highly recommend Vu at pc expert to fix any electronic needs I brought my laptop into him and he fixed in by the next day. He charged a very reasonable price to clean out the dust and replace the thermal paste my laptop is now running good as new. I also hear he fixes consoles go check him out for all your electronic needs.

These guys are the best! The speaker of my laptop was not working and I brought it to PC Expert. The guy (Vu?) took two days working on my computer and reinstalled the system without wiping away my important software and programs. It was amazing! He also cleaned my computer and replaced a new speaker. The price was fair. Now my computer is like brand new. I also learned some knowledge about antivirus software from them. The guy who was there was extremely rude and barely took a look at my laptop. He diagnosed it with a problem that he didnt even seem sure about and wanted to charge me $250 for something that I ended up doing myself for $0. Would not recommend.

I stopped by here once and there was nobody in sight (which can be understandable for a PC repair store), took about 5 minutes before someone showed up. Store was a MESS. Man was completely uninterested in me. Would rather an pay overpriced Geek Squad tech...Wont even consider for future computer repair...(Visit was approximately 8 months from date of review)

These guys are terrific. Took my Ipad in because of a broken screen . They replaced it promptly and perfectly. It was ready to go hours before promised!

I was very dissatisfied with this business. There was a guy there on staff who really knew what he was doing, but now hes not there anymore. The other person, i think the owner, does not seem very responsible. When I took my computer in there he said it needed a new cover. When I picked it up he said he coulnt get it to fit right and he had to GLUE it on. Can you imagine? Gluing something on to a computer? Needless to say that was my last visit. I also had to replace the computer. Very disappointed to say the least.

The people who work at PC Expert really are experts! But not only do they fix all my problems- and even problems I didnt know I had- they are not averse to answering questions unrelated to the reason for my visit. They take time with me and that alone sets them apart from all the other experts in town. Thanks, guys!

I received nothing less than superior service at PC Expert. I came into the store in tears after a virus infected my computer. I was so distraught about the thousands of lost photos that I had taken of my children since they were born. I began to go down the list of PC services around the city. I was consistently told by them that this particular virus was currently the most vicious one yet, in which I needed to come to terms with the fact that I had lost my files forever and they only offered to clean out my computer. It is when I got to PC Expert that I had my FIRST different response. Vu told me that he would do everything he can to get my photos back and that he was pretty sure he could get them back for me- all this with a huge assuring smile. In the end, Vu was able to retrieve my photos when everyone else, even Google articles told me otherwise! The service provided to me was above and beyond ANY place in town. It was incredibly caring and most importantly, extraordinarily knowledgeable. After I got the amazing news about my photos, I brought a fruit basket to the store because I was ecstatic and so thankful. Still, it was not enough for the care and consideration that I received. Vu stated that he kept working on my computer throughout the night because he wanted me to have my family memories back. It is without question that I now recommend this place to all my family, friends and coworkers.

My experience was horrible, i wish they wouldve givin me a better gaming computer. Instead it crashed and we took it back and they didnt give me my money.

Every time I have taken in one of my computers for a particular service issue, they repaired it quickly, and they repaired it right the first time (unlike other computer repair shops that Ive dealt with before I found PC Expert). They have also always been honest, fair, and reasonable in their repair work and service costs. They are great at what they do and they are also treat me as a valued customer on a first name basis. Recently, Vu was extremely generous in repairing on one of my computers at a vastly reduced cost after a power surge at my home destroyed some of the electrical components on my pc for the second time in the same year. I have always received excellent customer SERVICE from Vu and his team, and because of that, they will always have my business and I will always recommend others to go to PC Expert for any kind of computer repair issues. I bought a used laptop after my old one froze up. Rex took my old laptop in as a trade and i got a newer modle with windows 7. After having this laptop for three months, it got a bug and i could not get it to start up. I called PC Experts and got Co on the phone,with Cos expertice i was able to be walked throgh, and we got it started up. Co then took over from there, he loged on to my laptop and it workes like new! I forgot to say that i was in Michigan 1400 miles away, and it didnt cost me a thing!!! Thanks so much PC. Experts!
