My computer suddenly stopped turning on and luckily dml was able to fix it pretty quickly. I called a few other repair shops before I got to them, and none of them seemed very interested in my computer and what was going on with it or my business. Right away the person who answered the phone at dml showed interest, asked questions about it, which made me feel a lot better and help showed that they care and it wasnt just another job for them. The work was done quickly and they did a great job and the computer is working great now, highly recommend!

The tech could have easily given me an estimate and taken my money but instead told me what he would do. Saved me money, took 10 minutes and didn’t charge me even for the consult. Will be going back and recommending to others.

Im not a expert on computers, but Im not someone who will allow others assume that Im a simpleton in that aspect. DML has outstanding professional and knowledgable service! They are absolutely amazing!!I went in for a hardware repair. My screen was flickering and after several different attempts to fix display drivers or maybe it was some glitch in my software, its a daunting feeling to NEED to send it in. After speaking with DML, I felt at ease. They recognized the problem, communicated well what was wrong specifically, fixed what was needed, and finished my repair far sooner than I expected. Completely worth the trip across town, and a definite must for any computer issues. These guys are incredible!

I took my custom pc into DML Computer Repair because I was have troubles reaching the performance I should have been getting. They gave me a free diagnostic (which was very comprehensive) and consulted before doing anything to the computer. After discussing we agreed an upgrade was the way to go, so they completely revamped the entire PC. With turnaround, pricing, and results they are the way to go!

The guy I spoke with was very nice, and I think has some bare basic computer repair knowledge.When I brought in my PC for him to fix, he ran a diagnostic on it and told me about all the problems the diagnostic found...and that was it.He told me issues with my PC an no solutions or ideas on how to fix it. I had to ask a few times what he thinks I should do and if he could repair it. In the end he only offered to install the hard drive and Windows 10, which would run me $80.00.To me, that wasnt enough work for $80.00, so I just took it home and ran HW monitor on it.I found the processor was running hot(Something he failed to identify) and applied new thermal paste to it. Now its cooler and running better.He also said it would be IMPOSSIBLE to copy everything from the Hard Drive to the Solid State Drive because it was smaller in size. Even though all the data on the 2 TB Hard drive amounted to 110 GB, less than half of the 260 GB Solid State Drive.I used ShadowCopy(a FREE program to do the impossible job).Overall, he need much better Customer service skills, and needs to research conputer skills when he is unsure of what to do, not just spit Diagnostics Information at you.

Lifesaver is an understatement, the reviews dont lie!, first day I arrived in Albuquerque for business my hard drive died , I called and left a message and David called me back, I dropped my things off, my old drive was in bad shape but after some tedious recovery was able to get my machine to the same state it was before it died. There is no replacement for experience and David is the man! My sincerest thanks for the great work!

I needed my power port remounted. Laptop would not charge at all. Other places did not seem to know how to do it. After paying others who did not fix the problem (their solution was stick a wad of paper in there - geez), DML fixed it in about a day and I am back in business. Professionally done, quick service, and honorable treatment. And the price was good, too.

My hard drive crashed. Although my wife is a programmer and I have several computer geek friends, we couldnt get the files from my desktop that I needed. We had a backup, but no PC computer to load it to, just Macs. And our town of Socorro had no computer repair shop. I called DML after 4:00 and talked to Dee. I decided to give them a try, even though they were 85 miles away. I drove there, handed her my old drive and our backup, both of which, it seems, were on their last legs. I have an 8 year old laptop that was ahead of its time 8 years ago. Fast forward to 2020 and I start using my laptop a whole lot more because Im working from home due to COVID. Three weeks ago, I ordered a new laptop online because I figured it was probably on its last leg being that I had worked from home on it all year, but the new laptop has been stuck in the USPS Christmas overload and has not been delivered. On Friday, 12/18/2020, I log in and try to get to work, but I kept getting corrupt file messages which I figured was the HD on its way out. I wiped the harddrive and at this point, figured it was impossible for me to find a harddrive to install and have the tank ready for work on Monday so I started looking for a used laptop to hold me over until I get the new one. I called DML, spoke to David, he told me that they did have a used laptop and would have it ready by 5pm. I showed up at 5pm to pick it up and it was ready, but I thought I would ask them if they had a harddrive for my laptop (what can I say, its a tank!, and it was ahead of its time 8 years ago, so why not try to salvage it?). So he checked it out real quick and he confirmed that the harddrive was in fact beginning to fail and they stated they could have my old laptop up and running like new within 24-hours! What?!? I wouldnt have to miss any more days at work and I wouldnt have to order a harddrive online and wait for it (like Ive been waiting 3 weeks for my new laptop)?!? I even upgraded the ram and operating system (to get it up with the current times). They were able to do all of that for a STEAL OF A PRICE (I now regret even buying a new laptop). David called me 1 1/2 hours before the estimated completion time, I went and picked it up, came home and have been on it for the last couple of hours getting it ready for work tomorrow and its running flawlessly - faster than I ever remember my little tank being. Thank you so much David and Dee - you guys saved me from having to miss work this week! You guys absolutely rock!

First of all, I work in a school as a tech specialist, so I have some experience with hardware repair. When the power button on my daughters laptop stopped functioning, however, I didnt trust myself to crack open the case to fix it (Im much more comfortable with desktop repair). David @DML is awesome! Best Buy wanted $99 just to look at my laptop. Dell wanted me to Fed-Ex it to them even though I had the model, serial number and registered it with them when I bought it. But they couldnt promise they even had the part to fix it. David ordered the part then when it came in I was without my laptop for only one night. Service with a smile and at a reasonable price. This place was perfect. I had a damaged piece of hardware that they diagnosed and fixed within two hours, and it cost me half what I expected. Best Buy was going to charge me money just to ship it off to their center to even look at it before telling me how much it cost to fix. These guys, on the other hand, fixed it right away, and even stayed a few minutes past closing time to wait for me to come back and pick it up. I work from home using software that is extremely strenuous on my computer (video editing and motion graphics). DML, especially Deanna, really saved me when my computer started running extremely slow. She remotely got me cleaned up and running smoothly. Then I downloaded a terrible virus. She was right there to help again. Then, because of the virus, my computer no longer recognized my camera which is a very bad thing for me. I have to email pictures on a weekly basis because I am a Realtor. She and David fixed this issue also. Finally I think I am in great shape and owe it to them. I highly recommend them.

Please, save yourself from years in recovery, at least $10 in disinfectant, and retain your ability to use a door lock by getting your PC fixed somewhere elseHas bigger issues than his PC.

Took my laptop in to get the keyboard replaced. They did excellent work and their prices were very reasonable. Im really glad I decided to have them do it instead of doing it myself. Apparently my laptop keyboard is a major pain to replace. I also had them replace the hard drive with a solid state drive. Now it boots up in an instant!

This place is absolutely incredible! I had a dead video screen on my laptop, and I tried to fix it myself, but I succumbed to just taking it in. When I arrived, they charged me nothing to just look at it - which is amazing - and it turned out that it was just a few loose screws! I dont think any other place would have been so helpful and kind. Being a college, this place was super convenient. I simply waited for, maybe, 5 minutes before David figured out what was wrong with it. They expedite local business and student computers! My tablet had an operating system error and a rom issue. I was ready to buy another tablet, but John came in for a job interview. during his interview he fixed my tablet. Needless to say he got the job and i am very happy that he came in for an interview. He did really good work. I was able to redownlaod all of my apps and my pictures. One word - FAST. This small little company is a customer experience powerhouse! They are a no-frills, no bullcrap operation, prices are very reasonable and I definitely felt that their motivation is to do right by the customer.I had just dropped off my custom built PC during the lunch hour - they were finished with diagnostics and repair in less than two hours and sent an email AND text letting me know its ready for pickup. Id also asked them to evaluate my computer for an upgrade. They were more than happy to do that and the email sent included links to the hardware they recommended. They dont try to get you to buy these in store and instead recommend that you save money by ordering it online. I really appreciate the effort they put in to save me money and get me going quickly. Am I coming back here for anything computer related? You bet your sweet ass I am. When you find that one mechanic to work on your car that tells you exactly whats wrong with it, doesnt upsell and prefers honesty over trying to get more money out of your wallet, you know he just became your go-to guy. I realize Im the dissenting opinion here but I will never again use this company. They are cheap yes, and theyre nice enough... Until they screw up your computer and then refuse to fix their mistake. They wiped my entire laptop without an appropriate backup and when I got it back I was just lucky that I had backed up about half of my things myself. They are great until they screw something up. And maybe their mess ups happen only seldom, but I was not happy in the slightest at how it was handled once they realized they messed up. To add insult to injury, I was still asked to pay for the work they did on my computer... Which in reality was just wiping the hard drive (I could have done this myself for free) but I had taken it in with the expectation that it would be optimized and restored with a items backed up and replaced when finished. This clearly didnt happen so I just wont be back.

The guy says he only charges for repairs, not diagnostics. He is not lying. He wont charge you but what he will do is crash your system so you have to end up paying him just to fix what he did to your equipment. I am not posting this review to be mean. I am giving you a warning. I wish I had read these reviews before I took my pcs here.

My computer was having a ton of problems (unable to open internet, pop-ups, date and time resetting randomly, and more). I called DML this morning and was able to get my computer in just a couple of hours later. We brought in a computer and a non-functioning external hard drive to try to save are data. Our computer was getting messages that the hard drive was failing but DML was able to save our data. Our broken external hard drive will have to be sent out because of the level of damage but they helped us with ALL the details to see that we could get it repaired if we so choose. We appreciated that they were honest and gave us a wonderful price. They didnt charge us for diagnosing our hard drives and they waived the labor fee since we were donating our old computer. Other places we checked out were charging hundreds of dollars for what DML was willing to do for a fraction of the cost. I will be telling all my friends about this place because of their down to earth prices and honest assessments of work that needs to be done. We couldnt be more happy and definitely will use DML again.

They are always kind and goes above and beyond to help. Dml has now fixed 3 of my laptops, and even put in a new keyboard for free.

I spanked Thor at SC2 so hard, he sent a lightning bolt to my house irl. It rendered my gaming rig completely useless, so I brought it in to DML. David had me up and running in no time, at such a great price I will definitely consider myself a future customer...
