This place is legit delicious. I dont live on this side of town anymore, so its always a treat to eat here when I can. Food is fresh and full of flavor. Love the atmosphere and customer service.

I wanted to visit a bakery before taking off from New Mexico and I wasn’t disappointed! A small bakery with good pastries and food options as well as drinks. It was a nice place to visit.

We got there during a Balloon Fiesta rush, so it was a bit slow, but all three employees were working as hard as they could. The soft roll breakfast sandwich is amazing - the bread is so fresh (of course) and the fillings were top quality. The pastries are beautiful, the coffee was good, and overall it is a cozy place to either pick up pastries and bread or to have breakfast or lunch. Great local place.

My new FAVORITE place. My breakfast sandwich was so awesome!! I bought 5 different loaf of bread that had just come out of the oven. Cant wait to try them.

Been a couple of times and Ive never been particularly impressed. Maybe Im ordering the wrong things given the other reviews here. Ive found everything so far to be a little too sweet or salty for my tastes.Ive had their espresso coffees on two occasions which I ended up pouring away as they tasted like burned plastic/rubber.

Great neighborhood bakery! Love their pastries and their breakfast sandwiches! Great lunch sandwiches too! Been going here since it’s opening. Everybody is friendly however the girl who has been working the counter seems always stressed and like she’s being bothered. She’s not rude but her actions and facial expressions say it all. Don’t like being waited on by her. I would give 5 stars but....

WOW!!! Best bakery in Albuquerque. Had heard about this place about a year ago just have never been able to make it in (they close around 3pm?). Ordered several items out of the case because we could not decide on just one item (everything looked amazing!!!). EVEYTHING tasted as good as it looked... the carrot cake was hands down the best I had ever had, moist, dense, and so packed with flavor without being all about the sugar, but still sweet(not overly sweet like a Sams club cupcake). The cream horn was my absolute favorite, its kind of like a cannoli with the inside cooked some and then dipped ends, in chocolate, and some powdered sugar also... AMAZING! I cant wait to try their breads(they have alot to choose from) as well as their other pastry type items. They also have a decent size menu of sandwiches, soups, Misc items and salads.. Imagine if this place made sopillas and tortillas?!?! They would need a factory to keep up with orders lolCannot wait to go back!!! Great job Swiss Alps bakery and cafe!!! Thank You!!!

Their food and desserts are very good but when I was there last the man at the cash register was wearing a red don’t tread on me New Mexico shirt. Very bad idea to mix business and politics so if you’re a progressive liberal or just a rational person that would most definitely offend you. I gave them three stars but unfortunately I won’t go back because of the right wing view point.

Tasty baked goods and really good sandwiches. Where they really hit their stride is their breads. The have done of the best pretzels/pretzel rolls Ive had. Im also quite partial to the almond horns, especially the chocolate dipped ones.

Fridays macaroon day. If you like coconut macaroons go there early. They sell out. Once you buy some youll figure out why they do.

I had soup and grilled cheese. And had dessert. Excellent service from the workers. You got to check the place out.

I had a sudden craving for something flaky and sweet so I swung by the swiss alps bakery but that describes half the pastries in the counter so she suggested a cream cheese turnover and it was so yummy! I come here whenever I need pastries or lunch and they always taste amazing! Seriously, everything they make is the most delicious thing you will ever eat.

This was my late fathers favorite stop for fresh baked goodies. They also have amazing sandwiches as well as breakfast sandwiches. Stop in and take a look youll be glad you did

Girl at counter was sanitizer and then touching her hair, and face. Then she was touching the POS system, then she touched her face again. Overall, not very sanitary and she was really rude.

WOW. This place is my new go-to for lunch. Bread is made fresh daily in house and the sandwich offerings are extensive. My favorite thing so far is the Chicken Salad Sandwich on Sour Dough. All their sandwiches are great portions and come with kettle chips, a choice of a side, and a pickle. Such a great value and a complete meal.for lunch! You gotta give this place a try!

Friendly staff and good food. Definitely recommend calling and ordering in advance if you are going to order something that they need to make fresh. We waited around 30 minutes for our order. It tasted good though, and was fresh.

Rude customer service! Don’t let them bully you. My husband went to pick up our order, and when he asked them to confirm what was in the bag; the male representative got mad at him in front of everyone there. There were extra charges on the order and because he was rude to him, my husband told him to just keep the sandwiches and walked out. ….management needs to know about this employee. We’ve been buying here for a long time and never treated this way before.

They were out of most options that didnt have meat, a cheese panini being the one vegetarian option. It was quite pricey for a grilled cheese..$11.00. Then the potato salad as a side had ham or bacon in it. The waiter was snippy about it when I mentioned the meat in the potato salad.

We went for brunch there the other day with some friends and had a wonderful time. We got the quesadilla which was on special. It was huge and my partner and I were glad we only got one to split. It was delicious. We also got a couple of their cookies which we enjoyed. This is my first time here and Im looking forward to going back and trying more of their delicious looking pastries.

I will never come back here again. The past few times I’ve been in there the employees have been rude. They aren’t working there because they enjoy it. While was there another woman came up she too was told they are closed, the woman said “google said they open.” The employee barked back, “well google is wrong,” meanwhile the open sig is still flashing.

The Beef-Ester sandwich is a great combination of cheesy and spicy. I liked the macaroni salad as well.

Great local bakery. Our neighborhood bakery to be exact. Great food and bakery delights. We went in on a Sunday @ 11 AM (Sunday is new for this place). They are expanding their seating options, which is good as they are often busy. Fantastic Reuben Sandwich and homemade potato salad.

Love love love this place! Best app are always super friendly and accommodating. Some of the best quiche Ive ever had. I love the 505! Also the almond latte is perfect with almond milk.

We are not a big fan of the pastries. They are often dry but the quiche is always good! Google store hours need to be updated. They actually close at 3pm, instead of 4pm, as indicated online. Its not clear what other hour/day information is inaccurate.

Friday morning out with my 3 yr old and Swiss Alps hit the spot. The pastries are on point but Charles was on it. Charles provided World Class Customer Service. I will come back on Fridays for this experience again and again.

This is a deli cafe with excellent coffee. It has a few breakfast items and delectible desserts. The Tiramisu cake is truely decadent. Whole loaves of bread can be ordered and are also excellent.

I attempted to order a cake on Friday at 9am for a Monday pick up. I left a voicemail and someone called me back after close, so they couldnt take payment. I was told to call back Sunday to pay. I called and got no answer nor did I get a call back. I called Monday morning and was told they will not have the cake for my husbands birthday because I didnt call Sunday, which I did. This bakery needs a better ordering process. They left me without a cake for my husbands birthday. I do not recommend doing business with such a disorganized ordering system because they will not come through when you need it.

Found this gem looking for German rolls. It’s quaint and the food is delicious. I tried a hatch green chili and Swiss croissant and almond croissant as well. We split a Tuscan sandwich and potato salad and OMG 😋They’re environmentally conscious and so friendly.

Was craving a croissant a couple of Sundays ago. I was there at around 9:00 in the morning and they only had only two croissants, which am not led to believe were fresh. They were small and tasted stale. What kind of bakery only had two croissants in the morning? They were over $4-overpriced.

Went to the bakery this past Sat. and today Wed. Aug.25 bother times to purchase a loaf of bread...... both times no bread on the bread shelves.

Me and my grandma saw a van with Swiss Alps logo on it and I absolutely love going around finding little places and exploring little bakeries or just little stores..and we decided to try it.. Walked in & was simple but relaxing. We order soup in a bread bowl - soup of the day was mushroom.. My goodness was absolutely delicious, I have fallen in love with this bakery! My parents are visiting from South Africa and I will be taking them there! You have to try their deserts as well beyong amazing :)

Covid hours are 8-3 everyday and I just made it! The sweets are as delicious as they are pretty.

During Covid-19 time. If we can only call in order or order online. You should have pictures available for what pastries you all have available. Since your not letting anyone go inside to see whats available. There are no pastries listed on your website. It would be very much appreciated as other bakeries are doing this.

It was good, the price was higher than expected. For two chocolate, two ham and cheese croissants it was $30. Then we added a kids pb&j took 15 min and $7. I understand times are difficult with covid- perhaps there was only one person working. The food was good and service was kind its just not what I would normally pay for a small lunch.

This place is amazing. Beautiful and delicious treats! Great coffee drinks and tea as well. They have outdoor seating so you can be safe during the pandemic, and you can bring your dog. I love to take my 4 year old here.

Great breads and pastries! Frequently, they make a mistake with my order, I get the same thing every time. This is a great place to go if you can take your time. If you want a quick coffee this is not the right place. For some reason they don’t maintain a constant of ice coffee. It doesn’t make a lot of sense, shouldn’t a coffee shop always have coffee. I asked why they never have iced brew (it is July) and the reason is because “it sells out fast and it takes 24 hours to make.” Ummmm why not brew larger batches.I recommend the fresh baked breads and low sugar cookies, just wish they were political correct enough to not call them “Diabetic cookies“ I am pretty sure these cookies don’t have a pancreas, also sure that people without autoimmune diseases can eat them. I’ve edited my post because after today I don’t think I will be coming back. 4 days in a row where they’ve run out of iced coffee. Shrug 🤷‍♀️

I stop for the coffee but occasionally get a stuffed croissant or other sets from the bakery, always very good.

The chicken salad sandwich was mostly onions. Not good at all.

This is one of the yummiest places in town! I would highly recommend stopping by and trying some of their pastries. They have great pastries and great cafe food as well. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Every Christmas we get a bunch of cookies from here because they make the best in town. They also have cakes and such to order for birthdays and celebrations as well!

Ordered my sons first birthday cake and could not be more pleased. I told Jessica what I wanted and she surpassed my expectations in both presentation and deliciousness! Ive never had a more pleasant experience than Ive had at Swiss Alps.

Food is good but I have been waiting for the build your own soft roll breakfast for 30 minutes. No one was ahead of me when I walked in. This has happened more than once. It is a simple sandwich. Very tasty.......order for breakfast and it comes in time for dinner. Plus, they ask for the tip when you first order. place is getting ridiculous. I have been going here for 20 plus years. After I got my food and I was going to my vehicle someone came out to apologize and offered me pastries in compensation for my troubles.

Awesome tables with long benches for studying. I haven’t checked out the outlet situation, but they do have good WiFi. Lots of outdoor seating in sun and shade. Very friendly, small-town feel. Actually affordable coffee and food!!! Prices the way it should be. (A small simple coffee or tea is just under $2)

Great place to have coffee. Pastries are based on German and Swiss culture. Outside of bread and desserts there are no other German items on the menu.

Kind service, I cant eat there but they let me chill outside and drink ice tea with free refills, get some gluten free & vegan options yall

I was going to post a picture of the ham and cheese, but it was so good we ate it before I could. We have been here 3 times and it never disappoints. The only thing I wish was different are the hours. I would love if they were open until 6pm. Their meringues are the best I have ever had.

Delightful slice of Europe right here in Albuquerque. Tremendous array of pastries to choose from and some very good lunch options. We really enjoyed our meal here. Would easily have been five stars if wed found a clean table to sit at.

Not a nut allergy friendly place to eat. My wife and I ordered a sandwich. The bread was delicious! We wanted to give a taste to our little but we couldn’t, due to the nuts in the sandwich. Overall the sandwich was tasty and fresh. The seating, when there are local neighborhood walkers with strollers and when it is busy, can be tight. Nothing about the employees wow’d us. Due to the nuts used in the establishment this is a one time visit for us.

Very nice food. A personal favourite to go to with a close friend or on a mini date with a significant other. Its quite atmosphere makes it ideal and comfortable to hold a conversation.

A great local spot. They bake all sorts of beautiful loaves of bread. They have basics like White, wheat, and sourdough. And also more exotic ones like marbled rye and desert loaves. They also function as a deli serving Boars Head meat on their fresh bread, its a great combo. Also tasty soups and deserts. Good staff and owners I definitely recommend.

The Swiss Alps Bakery offers some of the best baked goods in the city! In addition to the bakery items, they offer a good menu of breakfast meals, paninis, and sandwiches. The prices are a bit on the higher end, but I do feel that you get your moneys worth.

WOW!! The apple streudal is awesome. I asked the baker about high fructose corn syrup and they told me they did not use it in any of their baking. I was impressed with the product knowledge he had in his head. Wonderfully executed baked goods. Yum!

Pastries were pretty dry. It seemed as if they had been on the shelf for two to three days. Disappointing. Sauce on bread pudding needed to be thicker and cooked for a bit longer. It tasted very starchy.

These pastries are made the right way. The custard is real, cream filled pastries are made with real cream and not oil. The croissant sandwiches are filled well. My only problem is picking just one😂. The service is good. I love sitting outside when weather permits.

I enjoy coming here for lunch and especially to pickup baked goods. If your looking for freshly made breads, baked goods and lunch, you need to stop here. They have a lot of sandwich options, served with a lot of food. They used to offer half orders, but not anymore. So come with a big appetite. They also have coffee and teas. Its a great place to grab a baked good & a drink & hang out with a couple of friends.

Best sandwiches in town. Cuban sandwich is perfect. Soups are good. Amazing desserts. Not 5 star because service is very slow.
