I def sent so much business but all my clients feel the same go to Eli’s/ Ali’s braids on San Mateo they offer braider discounts and NOT rude !

I dont know whose giving bad reviews but my experiences were totally awesome. I have alopecia and its my first time wearing a wig. My friend suggested I go here. Im so glad I did. I went two different times and both times with two different employees and they were all so helpful. They answered my questions when I had them, gave me advice for good products. I was so thankful they helped me. When you are feeling not so pretty because your half bald and you get a wig but have no idea what to do, its so great to have people that actually care. Thank you guys so much!

Best costumer service in Albuquerque. My family and I stopped in today to buy a few wigs for my daughter. We were immediately greeted with happy and helpful staff. Everyone from the owner to the sales associates were friendly and willing to assist! Raven was our sales associate, she took extra time out of her busy day to make our daughter feel comfortable and confident. I would recommend anyone in the Albuquerque area looking for hair products to come to this location! Its very inconvenient and a lack of customer service to a not allow exchanges, refunds are one thing especially if you just purchase your item less than 5 minutes ago. They should definitely be a little bit more accommodating being 1 of the only black owned beauty supplies in the Albuquerque New Mexico area seeing theres not many options. I would most definitely recommend you purchase your hair outside of Albuquerque New Mexico.

The store is huge with a various selection of wigs and weaves. Great music. If youre into weave, protective styles, and wigs this your spot. They have a limited supply of hair care products for us natural unweaved women who enjoy wash and gos & afros. Theres more relaxers & men products than there are natural hair products. Theres a handful of shampoos & conditioners for relaxed hair but lacks clarifying or detoxifying shampoos for naturals hair types. I didnt see any hair oil only hair sheen & petroleum jelly based greases. Changed my rating from 1 star to 3 bc I root for every BOB whether I patronize or not. Hopefully in the future they will have a more diverse selection of hair care products for naturals outside of Taalijah Waljiah.

Great selection of braiding hair & supplies

The new location of Trendz is wonderful! Visited them this past week and was pleasantly surprised at how bright and new the store is. The staff were very professional and friendly, very helpful in helping me pick out my new wigs in preparation for the cold weather and the holiday glam. This will be my go to for beauty and hair care supplies. Congrats on your come up!

Went there earlier today.I was greeted at the door with a spritz of hand sanitizer. The man asked me if I knew what I needed and helped me out. I got everything I needed and for a very good price too.

I loved it! The sales people were so helpful, they got me just what I wanted. After a $250 ashy die job going from black to light brown( I was trying to get to a lilac color) I am so happy to have purple hair at a significantly smaller expense. I feel like a cross between a mermaid and evil queen and its fabulous! The wig has amazing volume and gorgeous curls. I think Im a convert for life.

I was walking by With my husband because I just moved to the area. I wanted to see the hours posted on their door, since I run a beauty consultation business. When I approached the business hours, which are super tiny by the way, a big huge guy came out and started yelling at me because I wasn’t wearing a mask. IT WAS DEFINITELY A PERSON WHO WORKS HERE. VERY GHETTO AND TACKY. I tried telling him that I wasn’t wanting to go inside, I just wanted to see the hours but the damage was already done. I don’t plan on shopping here. It’s not about how you treat customers when things are going great, it is about how you treat customers when people are already on edge. This happened a few weeks ago...Update: The response from the “owner” makes NO sense whatsoever. you should really hire professional people to work for you; and, for goodness sake hire a professional to reply to your reviews!! How are you still in business?!?!?!

I am appalled at my experience I had today. My daughter went in to purchase hair. While we were greeted, we were not offered assistance and had to ask for assistance. We expressed what we were looking for and were directed to what “people usually use”. My daughter spoke up with the little information we did have on what we needed. The employee took us to the appropriate section but offered no further assistance and didn’t ask any additional questions (i.e. specific length, color, final goal/look). Normally it wouldn’t be an issue, HOWEVER, “due to Covid” there is no exchanges! They so calmly say they just can’t help you because of their policy and Covid, so they are unaffected by any loss and clearly have no compassion nor regards for other people’s money. I am a fair person and will express in the past I have had no issues, but that is probably because we knew what we needed, THANK GOD! Business are for money/profit and I get that, but also please take the time to ask follow up questions and respect people’s money the way you want your business respected.

Ive been to all the wig and hair shops in the Albuquerque area and this is the best one I have found. They have a large selection of different types, styles and colors and also offer a large variety of products and accessories. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Since Ive found them I havent gone anywhere else.

Being ethnic in Albuquerque is hard, so it was nice to finally find a hair store for us buy us. They have a nice selection of wigs and weaves. The workers are very friendly and helpful. They have a loyalty stamp card now that lets you get discounts after so many purchases. The workers are also good at helping you find black hair stylists and salons in the area.

James was the perfect assistance. This was the third shop we stopped in - so glad we didn’t settle for the overpriced stuff at the previous places!Save yourself time. Go here first.

The staff are always helpful and friendly. They really make an effort to make sure you leave with exactly what you need. I had an issue that involved me screwing up a debit transaction because of the chip reader, and it was resolved promptly with no hassle. Its almost shocking when businesses offer such awesome customer service.

The owner of said store came up to me last weekend trying to exchange words in the restroom of the bar. I told her to have some class. And she went on and on as ghetto as she could be. Im actually a cosmetologist and had heard good things about this place; due to my own personal interaction with this lady I DEFINTELY wont recommend this place to any of my colleagues or clients.

We went to the location on Menaul and couldnt have had better service they were very helpful made my mom feel better about herself and answered any questions we had. This is the place to go if you want to be treated right and have a good time some laughs and enjoy your experience while shopping.

Just got my hair dyed from extremely dark brown to an almost amber, and I dont know which conditioners/shampoos are the best for this. My stylist said Make sure it says Sulfate-free and Color Safe, so thats what I was looking for. The gentleman behind the counter asked if I needed help, I told him what I was looking for, and he recommended 2 different products. They said Sulfate-free but not Color safe so I said These say sulfate-free but not color-safe. Are these okay for color? He replied Thats why I pointed at them. Now. As a customer service representative, I would not say something like that to my clients. I would say something like Oh yes, those are safe for color, or Yeah, they are. I can see how it might be confusing to tell- especially when the client is CLEARLY confused. Not Thats why I pointed at them. Straight up? My grandfather died last night. Im looking for these products so I can do my hair for his freaking funeral- and I was doing okay enough to go to a couple of stores today. The last thing I needed is some smart-a$$, dismissive remark when all Im trying to do is get some help, buy the shampoo, and get home ASAP- I gave no attitude, either. The reason I went to the store in the first place was because of all of the 5 stars and glowing remarks. Other people have had excellent experiences there, and thats great. I highly, highly doubt this company would care, but I will not be going back there again. I decided at the beginning of the year to stop putting up with poor behavior, especially customer service.

Favorite beauty supply store in town. Nice staff and always stocked with things I need.

Their products are a lie. Bought a topper and was told by the staff and the product information that it was real and not synthetic. Took it to my hair stylist so that she could dye it to match (their suggestion, I would not have bought it otherwise) and then when it wouldnt dye, they claim its because the dye wasnt strong enough. Seriously? They push blame and will not work with you if whatever they talked you into doesnt work.

I wanna give this 5 stars so badly but myself and a few clients as well as co workers have complained about the way the staff approaches the sanitation area ! If you walk in and don’t see it instead of great customer service and a please sanitize , they scream and act rude saying more like yelling “use the sanitizer . Please work on this . No need to be rude to customers

Worst customer service ever!!! I called inquiring of a product and was SO rudely told they didnt carry the product. I WILL NEVER patronize this business. I will keep going to Sallys or getting all of my beauty products when I go back home. Albuquerque really lacks customer service. So sad.

I took my teenage daughter there to get hair got her first trip to the shop. I had no idea what I was doing so The staff took The time to make sure that I got What would work with my child hair. The place had everything that a teenaged girl could want in every color you could want. Even if they dont have the color Im pretty sure they can get it.

This place was horrible to me. I bought $70 worth of hair and it was the wrong color ( I took a blackish purpleish instead of of the black redish i wanted, it was color trick ),I came back less than two hours later and they refuse to change it ( the person at the counter said that all sale were final) no refund or exchange???) . This store represent what bad customer service is, the ladies did not even want to help. So I am stuck with $70 worth of something I can not use. Even stores online will take a percentage of the return for their troubles, I respect that. They were rude, impolite, unhelpful and careless. And since they are the only one around ... They think they can act any how. From now on, I only shop online or when i go out of town. I do not recommend this store to my worst enemy!
