Alex was amazing!!! He called me before they performed any work and gave me price of part and verified if i wanted work done. He new I needed my Jeep done ASAP and informed me of progress every step of the way. When I picked up my Jeep everyone there was so friendly and informative. My Jeep runs amazing now and is so quiet I love it. They replaced my lifters,rockers, camshafts and no more clicking. I will definitely be going back to Zia Automotive for all my Jeep work. Took my car in they found what was wrong and gave me a reasonable quote, asked before they did the work so there was no surprises. Also found some items that need to be addressed soon and gave me a quote so I could plan ahead.Only negative is that online it said they were open 730-530, which has now been fixed, but otherwise great!

They were very polite and honest with me. I have an older car and he was honest about the other work needing to be done on my vehicle that I asked him about.

Zia repaired my 2011 Toyota Prius that had a problem with a brake booster. They had to work with my extended warranty company, order and wait for the part, and then do a complicated install. Rather than simply return the vehicle they did a test drive and discovered a problem. It turned out the new part was defective and they had to order a second one, wait for it, take out the defective replacement, and put the newer part in. Another test drive showed no problems and they returned the car to me. The price was around $1700 of which I only had to pay my $250 deductible because they worked with my extended warranty company. The process took 3 weeks and I considered giving only 4 stars due to the time delay, but I judge that to be beyond their control and they did excellent work and also caught the defective replacement part and fixed that. Great work and value.

Sean got my ac repaired and valve cover gaskets replaced and some other things taken care of. Everyone I have worked with has been great. All got done same day! This is the only place I go for my car.

My car was stolen last month and a friend recommended that I use Zia. I called them to see if they could fix the car and they told me they couldn’t get to it until the end of the week, but that I could bring it in and they would get to it when they could. They had an estimate that same day and it was ready the next day. I feel good because they are on my AAA approved mechanics. I was treated with respect and professionalism every step of the way. I will definitely be using them again!

The shift lever on my vehicle stopped working. They were able to take my vehicle late on Saturday afternoon, and it was repaired Monday morning. Everyone was polite and professional, and the charge was reasonable for the service provided. I highly recommend this auto repair shop.

Very happy with the service Zia Auto Repair provided! They’re fast and professional. I went in with a stripped oil pan on my vehicle. They had my car done in a day, when other places told me it was going to take a week or so. Very reasonably priced as well, I’ll be taking my car here in the future.

I was able to get an appointment online for the next day. When I arrived I was greeted by friendly staff and checked in immediately (wow-no waiting and honoring the appointment time). A very professional and efficient operation had me out of there before the estimated completion time. I cant believe how much nicer my car drives and it didnt cost a fortune. My car needed serious repairs to pretty much everything underneath and inside my front passenger tire. So far I am fairly pleased; one thing however did disappoint me.. my car has all black rims, and in repairing my rim they said they were unable to replace it with another black rim and gave me a silver one. When I asked if there was anything they could do about this, the gentleman at the shop relied, no we don’t do anything like that here but at least your car Is drivable and ready to be picked up. I kind of have a “black edition” thing going on with my car, and the silver rim really throws that off and looks tacky honestly... I understand if they were not able to find another black rim, but the lack of concern to help me fix this issue is what disappointed me. If there is any way you personally can help me with this, I would be extremely grateful. Thank you for everything.

Setting: 5th wheel trip in a 2016 F-250 from SW NM to CO. Me, wife, 2 kids, a Pomeranian, and a kitten we just rescued. Heading to CO to spread my wife’s grandmother’s ashes on what would have been her 91st birthday.After getting all new tires in Los Lunas, 2 miles down the I-25 at 7pm, check engine light starts flashing, A/C goes out, and truck is shaking a bit. Limp it into ABQ, get a hotel for the night as no mobile mechanics are available and all mechanics are closed. Look up repairpal as I thankfully have a warranty on the truck. Closest one to my hotel is Zia. Limp the truck there and they are completely booked. Thankfully, Sean takes the OBD reader to the truck, says it should be a quick fix, and that he’ll get me in. Even when he didn’t have to.Thanks for helping out a road weary dad/disabled vet when you didn’t have to. I truly appreciate it.

Plan to have all my major maintenance done at Zia! Considering I own a Z4 BMW an Audi TT Quattro and a Jeep Rubicon Unlimited it should say something especially since I used to turn a wrench for a living and Id just rather pay Zia to do it better and faster!

I have a 1996 4 wheel drive which has been in the family forever, making it more valuable to us than the book value. I had neglected numerous maintenance and repair issues. I arrived with a long list of concerns. The Zia shop has moved to a new large location, but has retained their original customer friendly, professional and honest values which had impressed me years ago. The thorough inspection and diagnostics of many mechanical and electrical systems I thought needed repair was provided within a day. The mechanics and service writer communicated clearly and provided me detailed information. I was given estimates for required work and a separate list of things that can be done later. The required repairs were done quickly and affordably. I am very happy with my experience and will have the remaining repairs done at Zia Auto Repair.

They fixed my brakes faster than I thought that they would and at reasonable cost. I’m usually very happy with the service; however, I had requested a tire rotation but that wasn’t done. I will, however, continue to use them in the future.

I took my old Lincoln Town car (1986) in for testing because my battery would not hold a charge. They replaced the alternator and battery same day. The price was completely fair and they were so friendly. My vehicle runs great. Definitely will be returning for work in the future.

I took my Honda Civic in for service because the dealership said the AC needed to be replaced. I didn’t trust them so I took it to Zia Automotive to get a second opinion. It turned out the AC did need to be replaced, but Zia Auto said they would do it for $400 less!! This was huge for me, because it was an expensive maintenance requirement. The same day I dropped it off they had my car fixed and returned to me. The air conditioner is working great, and they replaced my serpentine belt for free, just because the noticed that it needed to be replaced. This is what I call going above and beyond for the customer. Alex and Sean are very professional, and they offer a 10% military discount which is very nice. I would highly recommend Zia Automotive to anyone who needs quality vehicle maintenance done at an affordable price.

Great Auto shop! We have had our jeep and truck serviced. They dont try and oversell or sell services that arent needed! We dont know much about cars and had our cars checked at multiple places and choose Zia based on their prices and honesty.

I recently purchased a 1992 Ford Ecoline van to convert into a camper. Before buying the van I needed a pre purchase inspection on a very short time frame and they were very accommodating and able to get the van in and inspected. I worked with Sean who is very knowledgeable and his costumer service was exceptional. He kept me updated on the status Of the van and explained everything the inspection found. I will be using them for any future work the van will need. You guys rocked thank you!

Zia Motors is a fabulous place to have your car fixed and Ill tell you why. I had an alternator and the battery put in and it was fine. Come to find out I had a oil leak from my gasket that was leaking into my alternator. Well this fantastic place replace the alternator honor the warranty and I paid nothing. We were coming through town on a trip back home and our car blew the engine. Not a good thing however Zia Automotive saved the day! They worked with us through everything. When I first went to them I went in with skepticism because of the horrible experiences I had with mechanics in the past. Their professionalism from the start began to win my trust. After having my car serviced I was encouraged. Price was fair customer care was excellent. I continued going back for general maintenance on my beamer. Then when I needed major work done they gave me options on the best way to go forward which helped save me the most money. They put my concerns first above all else.Their honesty and responsibility as an auto repair shop is the finest Ive ever come across. Alex the manager shows a great deal of care for the customer as well as his crew. I live in southern NM and will drive up to ABQ when its time to service my car. I took my car here because another auto place was not professional enough to even call me after leaving my car with them 2x total of 8 days over 2 weeks.. to let me know whats wrong with my car.. called here because if reviews. I made appt. Dropped my car off and they called about an hour later with total detail on whats needs to be done and what can wait.. about 4 hrs later it was done.. i had several things that needed done.. very friendly good customer service.. I will definitely bring my car back here..

I was happy to work with these guys, they took on my warranty work and found a separate issue that I would have over looked. I’m happy they advocated for me and I as able to fix the second issue with my car. On the way home I had a hose pop off unrelated to to the warranty work, I called them up and they were able to find the problem, fix it and give me advice About the issue. They were kind enough to top off my oil sense I already had a scheduled oil change come up with my company’s oil change service.I recommend these guys for their professionalism, eye for detail, and willingness to help customers

Their website says they do Tesla repairs but they dont. I called and they said they can do windshield wipers, but thats all for a Tesla.
