I was in and out in under 20 minutes , these guys rocked it and it was less than the estimate.

Called and easily scheduled an appointment for a windshield replacement for the next business day. No waiting for my appointment the day of, and glass was replaced in a little over an hour. Courteous technician. He explained all of the warranties thoroughly and I discovered a windshield I had purchased a few years ago on a different car is eligible to have the air leak sealed at no additional charge. Wish the previous person had explained that to me. I will not hesitate to come back here in the future.

The technicians at this location are the epitome of customer service!!!! They have replaced several windshields for me, never an issue fixing chips and stars (no cost if you have a Techna Glass windshield), my battery even died once while there...they gave me a jump AND tested my battery!!! My only disappointment is that they dont do camera calibrations there...i had to go to Coors and Sequoia location for that. Comfortable waiting room with fountain drinks and popcorn!!!!

I was out running around the other day when I noticed a rock chip on my windshield.This place is in my neighborhood and I decided to stop in and ask about scheduling an appointment.The polite young man said that if I had 20 minutes, they could take care of it right away. I thought *awesome and went in the waiting room. Of course, I started kicking myself when I realized that I didnt ask how much it would cost.20 minutes later, the polite young man came and got me, showed me the repair and told me it was on the house.I cant even see the rock chip.Great service, quickly done at the right price.Thanks, you guys.

Committed to excellence. I brought my car in for a rock chip repair. After 15 minutes they came back and said that they had filled the crack, but since it was still visible, the repair was free. Then they wished me a good weekend with a smile and sent me on my way.

I arrived at the location on north San Mateo this morning and in less than 30 minutes both my rock chips were prepared. My customer service rep Jorge was very professional and patient when I asked him how he repaired the cracks so quickly. He took extra time to describe the process and answered every question I had. I would highly recommend this location for all your repair needs!

AMAZING! Found a company willing to replace my windshield for cheap, but no warranty. I called Techna Glass and spoke with Doug- who reviewed all the warranties and was able to ALMOST price match the quote I was given- but VERY close. IRRESISTIBLE! Upon showing up; Josh Green was my technician, he was super friendly- and my winsdshield was done in about 45 minutes. Great customer service. I will recommend Techna Glass to ANYONE looking for a new windshield!

Great service! They price matched competitors and gave me a discount for booking online. They also were able to get my car and my husbands done at the same time so we didnt have to turn it into an all morning. I would (and have) recommend this location.Also, make sure you pay attention to what you can and cannot do after replacement. We had to keep the windows cracked for 4 hours, not go through a car wash for 2 days, and leave the tape on for 24 hours.

Windshield itself was replaced fine. However they damaged the wiring on my alarm antenna that was attached to the windshield. Wires were pulled out of the connector/sheathing. Instead of correctly repairing the wires they simply wrapped them all together which caused several wires to be shorted. This caused my two-way paging alarm to give false information on the remote. It wouldnt have been a big deal if they repaired it correctly or at least told me that it was damaged. I did not notice the problem until about a week after my windshield was replaced. Thinking it was my remote or my alarm, I spent several days trying to diagnose my alarm system with no luck. A few months later I noticed that they had put my antenna on backwards. Thinking that may be the problem I remove the antenna and noticed the wires were out of their sheathing and wrapped together. The picture attached is with the shrink wrap removed. The shrink wrap conveniently disguised the exposed wires and was the fix that someone at the shop deemed to be adequate (hide the damage). I called to complain and they to said bring it in however I do not have the time or the confidence that they will spend the time to fix this correctly if they were unable to do it right the first time. Windshield was replaced fine, no problems with that, but having and honest place being up front with you is hard to come by. On a positive note, you get free lifetime chip repairs with Technaglass. If someone reaches out to me about this issue (that Ill be repairing myself) then I will update this review if possible as this rating is more about the lack common sense and willingness to own up to a mistake (which in turn ends up wasting hours of my time) of one or more of the workers at this specific location, and not the quality of glass or company as a whole.

Better than expected, but with issues. We had a break in on our pathfinder taking out the drivers window. Of course the weather was raining. After Safelite spent over half a day too busy to find out when they could get the window in town, we called Techna Glass. They knew they had the replacement window and got us booked for the next day quickly.I was surprised they were able to do a door window installation at my wifes work. The installation and cleanup went well and was pretty painless. The problem came when we tried to use the seat memory selector on the drivers door. It was not working. Apparently it was not reconnected upon the reassemble of the door. When I called the customer support , I was told I would have to bring the vehicle to one of their locations. I checked the closest location and then I was told I had to go to the San Mateo location when there were locations closer. I would have preferred that they visit my wifes location as it was their mistake but they did reconnect it within 20 minutes once they started. Price wise it was also cheaper than Safelite . This was an issue for deductible purposes.

Despite the fact that I stopped by near the end of day and my issue required them to stay open late, the entire team was friendly and happy to help me in a pinch. Josh took the reigns and helped me end my rather stressful day with some positivity. I will be coming back to this place for work on my suburban (emissions and windshield) and any other windshield needs!

I made an appointment for the car that I drive for work to have the windshield replaced. When I took the car in for the appointment they realized that the new windshield did not get delivered even though it had been ordered. Unfortunately they had already taken the old windshield out. So, they had to keep the car until they could get the glass(Monday), and they comped the glass for the trouble. Between Saturday evening and Monday morning, they were vandalized and the car got caught in the cross fire. A rock hit the door and put a dent in it. When they saw what happened, they immediately got a hold of my company and offered to get it taken care of. At the request of my boss they took the car to Car Crafters. Car Crafters was an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend them and I will never go there again. But, props to the guys at Techna Glass. They took a bad situation, turned it around. And, ended up with a very pleased customer.

Dio not trust this company to install glass on your Car I have had to go in a couple times the first time they did not install the glass the right way making me go back sit around for 2 hours then I went to go get a chip repaired took them another hour. The person that sold the glass to me a life time warranty just pay the labor and that is not true. I habe had 3 cars doneat this place but there is no such warranty will never go back and will stop telling friends and family about the great deal they have me it is a scam.

Brought my car in to repair a rock chip on the windsheild. It was a star rock chip and it took them less than 30 min to get it done. They charged me nothing. I dont know if the windshield already has life time warranty or not. But these guys are awesome.

Recently I got a rock chip on my truck and wanted to get it taken care of as soon as I could because of the colder temperatures we’ve had. I showed up close to closing and the technaglass side had already been shut down for the evening. Joshua took a look at the chip and said they would be able to help me that evening. As with my prior visits, the service has been exceptional. When I inquired if they had any discount for multiple chips, as I have two on my car windshield, he said they didn’t but he could give me a military discount. He then thanked me for my service. I didn’t tell him I was a veteran, he just noticed my veteran plate. These guys are not just affordable for windshields and chip repair, they give the best customer service I’ve ever had with an auto glass place.

Scheduled my appointment a day in advance, happily surprised that they had next day glass windshield available. I was impressed with the affordable cost when quoted at Jiffy Lube when doing oil change and how fast they could get the job done. Only 198.00 for new windshield wow and next to Popeyes, Chick-Fil-A, Beers & Brews, 45 minutes out the door. Sal and Scott even accepted me being 20 minutes late and got me out early...thanks guys.

They did the job and they did it quickly. However, they didnt do the little things to make the experience great like vacuuming up pieces of glass or cleaning out the broken glass from inside the door. There is still a ton of glass inside my door and it rattles anytime i close it.

Had a huge crack in my windshield so had it replaced. I was told it would be ready in 45 minutes, which I thought was probably an optimistic estimate. There was a mix-up with delivery of the windshield so it took 2 hours instead, but they gave me $25 off because of that!

Pretty terrible service here at Techna Glass. (On two occasions)First time I went they replaced my windshield on my black car and the taped they used was so strong that now it is stuck to my car. It’s been three months and it’s still there.Today on Jun the 2nd we called to set up an appointment to get a window replaced because the car had been broken into. So we schedule it at 4:00 PM and then toward the end of the conversation they changed it to 5:00 PM. It was fine that they changed the time however now they called back like thirty minutes later to let me know that they made a mistake and they have no open times at 5:00. I kindly asked if they could try to make time to put in the window at 5:00 because the person I scheduled the appointment for had already left and I have no way of contacting him since his phone was stolen. With a rude response the guy says no and pretty much it’s not their problem that they scheduled the appointment incorrectly. Now my poor friend has to drive far to his appointment he thinks he has at 5:00 only to be told they made a mistake.
