I called and the person that answered was super nice. The one I was transferred to seemed pretty disinterested in my inquiry. He didnt request any follow-up information, and then when I called him back with some answers to his questions, he never returned my call. I thought about calling again but...I hate when people make me feel like I have to beg them to take my money.

I had a very specific and unique concern about a phono cartridge and they helped me pick out a good replacement and did the work for free. Fixed my problem and improved my setup. Highly recommend.

Jonathan had researched the problem before arriving and had the perfect remedy in hand. Problem solved. He kept me posted on arrival time and as always was very respective of my time. I ALWAYS know it will be an excellent experience whenever Jonathan comes to resolve something.

I just had a great experience with ListenUp. They sent out a tech named Gene Carrillo to work out a problem with my Audio/Video system. He fixed it in 15 min. He does a great job representing his employer. If I ever have a problem again I will call this company.

His is the best company in Albuquerque when it comes to TV installations. They did an impeccable job, had the patience to teach me how to use the new device. They came back when I had another question and on time and careful about the health guidance. Mikey and Gene are fantastic. And Orlando who navigates the clients needs and schedule, always helpful and polite. What a great find! especially when during Covid times no everybody is so pleasant!

Nick was fantastic! He’s obviously an expert at what he does and didn’t mind explaining a lot of it to me. He was really quick, too. I ended up with a bigger project than I had anticipated and he stayed all day without any kind of break to get it completed. I could not give him a higher rating! And, he arrived early to the appointment which is practically unheard of these days...thank you, Nick!!

Fast and friendly service. Scott installed my Ortofon 2M Blue quickly, and I was able to relax in a welcoming audio showroom listening to an amazing sound system. Highly recommended!

Very disappointing visit. I’ve been looking to upgrade my headphones, and one of the reasons for my trip to Albuquerque was to listen to headphones at Listenup. Imagine my disappointment when I got there to be told they don’t stock any wired headphones. The person I spoke with told me they could order for me, but ordering from them and then having to drive almost 500 miles round trip doesn’t help accomplish my goal of listening to some different headphones and deciding what I like best.As a general rule I like to deal with local (or “local” when it’s in Albuquerque) businesses, to help keep them in business so they are around when I need help making decisions like this. When you combine the 500 mile round trip to pick them up if I ordered, with the fact I can get any headphones delivered to my home within a few days, there is no incentive at all to do business with them.Based on the other reviews, I’m sure if they meet your needs they’ll do a good job for you. But in my case they were simply a waste of gas and time.

I went in there thinking of buying Klipsch Heresy IVs. I asked the salesperson for the sales pitch and he said...Dont have one. I mostly know multi channel sales It seemed in retrospect, he thought I was an old person who was stupid. I also asked for a referral for Marantz repair. Quickpoint he said. They charged me 500.00 and they didnt fix the unit. So that is a NO for both companies!.

I worked with Patrick last year to put together a 2.1 setup for a small room. Patrick took the time to demo and recommend speakers based on the type of music I listen to. I am 100% satisfied with my system and purchase. I am normally an online shopper due to the service that you receive in the big shops. Based on the quality of service, pricing, and the showroom experience, I will be returning for my future audio purchases.

Jonathan showed up right as scheduled and spent plenty of time making sure to correctly diagnose the issue I was having with some speakers. He was extremely patient while I fumbled around trying to reproduce the issue, which I appreciated, and was sure to clean up after the job was done. Very courteous and efficient--great job overall!

My salesperson Patrick was super helpful. Got to know my musical tastes right away and we listened to a variety of speakers within my price range. He never tried to steer me in a particular direction even though based on our initial conversation he already kind of knew where I would go.Now the best part. When my speakers arrived one was scratched during shipping. The manufacturer required sending both back for replacement. Instead of making me wait longer, they sent me home with their floor models so I could enjoy them immediately. When mine arrived, Patrick brought them to my house, repackaged their speakers and set up my new ones. I was thoroughly impressed with this level of customer service. Great experience!

Listen Up is the only place in town that stocks several turntables. The sales person was super helpful and friendly. Our turntable sounds great and even has a warranty!

Ive been in twice this year and both times received, helpful, knowledgeable service. Do check if you are looking for a specific brand; they dont carry nearly everything in Albuquerque listed on their site. Not as high pressure as other places around. This isnt the same as the old Hudsons, but those kinds of places are gone for good, at least in little markets like ABQ.

So glad to have a local High Fidelity store I can go into. All staff are very helpful, informative, and non-pushy. They are my go to place for quality audio equipment and they also have superior video reproduction systems.

Sale was easy and hassle free. I should have asked more questions about the capabilities of the Receiver I purchased. It wouldnt have changed my purchase, but I would have had a better idea what to expect when wiring things up once I got home.

Nice little store, and the only place you can go for any Bowers&Wilkins equipment in the entire state. Good selection of speakers and professional audio equipment, and although the selection of high-end headphones is sparse, they have some good choices.The store is always clean and the employees are always dressed professionally, which makes the experience feel classy, and makes the wallet pain easier to deal with. Just dont let them sell you any AudioQuest products -- theyre utter nonsense. Especially the cables.

From demo, planning, sales and installation the team did a great job. Overall performance was initially close to Five Stars. The reason for Four Stars is that there was an oversight...a remote cable was not planned for to connect my amps with the pre amp, which I would think would be as basic as having power cables. So, I am without the remote cable and the system is not ideally configured. Addendum: They are now FIVE STARS! for the team came in to fix the problem. They are real Pros....

The service was great! Patrick helped me out right away, gave me fantastic explanations and even helped me out with research for a new tv.

Was ready to spend serous money on some Focal Grande utopia’s .. skinny sales man . Then started to teach me audio 101 in a condescending manner . Well I can only tell you , this only turned me off . I usually spend hours listening & sitting. I left in 20 min.

Super happy with my recently purchased BlueSound Node 2i. Sounds great! Audible improvement over my music server and Shitte Audio DAC. Easy to use and set up. App is solid. Patrick was helpful on this purchase as well as another recent trip in to audition some turntables. Love having a few brick and mortars around still and LOVED that you actually had it in stock on a walk in! Keep up the solid work! If you want real hifi in ABQ, where else ya gonna go???

Ive shopped in Listen Up 3-4 times but never bought anything. On this visit I purchased two SVS SB-2000 subs. The reason for my purchase was the exceptional demo experience that Patrick provided. There was no pressure, no BS about unfounded audio theories; it was about identifying the product that met my need and explaining the way my best options differ from each other. This was precisely the right way to move a customer from showrooming to buying, especially for vendors that offer a direct sales alternative.I want to especially compliment Patrick for his patience and flexibility. My friend and I are both electrical engineers. Patrick didnt elicit this information and we didnt offer it. Selling goods that have detailed technical specifications to guys like us is challenging. Patrick did it just right. He met all our requests. He offered product information but stayed quiet if we werent being interactive (i.e. We already knew what he was telling us). He even left us alone for periods of time so we could talk to each other unrestrained.Ive never had this good of an experience in any high-end AV store anywhere. Ill be back to see Patrick soon!

Awesome Integrated AV system in our new house! Took several visits by your guys to get the bugs worked out, but we love the system. Your guys were really professional and patient with us and made sure we were happy. Friends and family say theyve never seen such a sophisticated and easy to run system. We love the dedicated Media Room, multiple AV zones in many other locations throughout the house, and the fully integrated design. All of our equipment is hidden away in a vented closet in the media room and all the speakers/subwoofers are built into the walls and ceiling. No wires seen anywhere! The Media Room is a mini theater all to itself with incredible sound and picture quality. The guy from DirecTV said he did a sports bar not far from us that wasnt as nice as our system!Update five months later: Great job as usual; the install of the new replacement satellite receiver from DirecTV went perfectly smooth. The Control4 firmware update and Sonos software update added features that make the system better and even easier to use! You guys are the best, period.

Terrible service. Ive been there twice, and neither time did one person come out to talk to me. I looked around and saw them chatting away in their offices, but they never showed any interest in talking to a customer. (Im not even sure if they knew I was there.) Clearly, this business is in no way professional.
