Things are changing, under new management, shes a very kind young lady... Give her time to clean up what the old manager screwed up... Shelves are now stocked, product is coming in and not out of date or expired... New manager is on top of things... Find out for yourselves. I like the new change... The store is HORRIBLY cluttered, dirty and unorganized. I used the APP at the checkout and explained to the clerk that I wasnt familiar with their system as this was my first time using it. She was rude, unkind and talked down to me. There are other stores in the area that will be receiving my business. This store doesnt deserve my business.

Find my favorite candy there. Always something I need. Found X-mas items that I couldnt pass up.

Convenient location for me to stop and grab a few things. Only complaint is the Line is ALWAYS long with employees working and not opening a second register until people are lined up down the isle.

Big store! A lot of different options!

We have many of these in our town. Only bad think is some are hard to get in and out of. So I go to Main General Market most. But the prices are good. And when on a budget you can always make it work. They have a little ok everything. And nice freeze food selection.

Came back to give one star after tonights visit. I always have a long wait time. Some cashiers are not friendly. A few weeks ago I went on my lunch break thinking it would be a safe time. There were 8 of us in line, I was holding 4 two liters of pop and there were only two people working and they said they were both training. They had both computers down. I couldnt keep waiting and had to leave. Tonight it was another wait, but then its my turn with two two liters. I am offered no bag so I ask. She tells me okay but if the bags break in the parking lot its not our fault and proceeds to drop one on the floor. She said oops or I drop it, Ill get you a new one. Then she must have changed her mind and put the shook up, dropped on the floor pop in another bag and puts my receipt in there. I said Im going to get a new one if you dont mind. She says its just shook up but I guess! I wanted to let her know that was rude but I was a little flabbergasted at what had just happened. I hope they try to improve things at the Albert Lea location because its a joke.

Nothing was organized and the shelves were a mess and bare.

Cheap prices nice things

Friendly staff, and the store is neatly organized unlike another one that I have been to. That place was so unorganized you had to walk through another aisle to get to the other side because merchandise would be scattered across the aisles.

It had alot of good fines

I stopped in with just $7 and picked up a couple cans of spaghetti some coffemate and some Famous Amos cookies for just $4. This was my first time here, but I will definitely be back.

Watch out Check the dates, on some of stock is not rotated. Always takes extra long to check out. If you use a card to check out even longer to check out ... Some cashiers have a attitude, the good ones never stick around for long. Not planning to shop again at the Albert Lea store.

Its not too much that dislikes the Dollar general its the fact that it seems like theyre always under staff so their stress which causes me stress the stuff in the aisles that they havent put away yet still causes me even more stressed and then you know with cold bed its just like a triple triple threat on the stress and so thats why I gave the two stars hopefully they can get some more people that are qualified to work there and stay longer than two days

Mary is so Top! Would like to see more like her. Store clean,everyone could not be nicer. There was an elderly rude woman trief argument but Mary was very kind.....I would have blown my top.

Penny items are always taken off the shelf. Item on sale are to. I dont like how the manager removes these items not good. Thats the reason I go its penny sale.
