I have been a customer for 10 years. All I have now are issues with store staff and will not fix my billing issues THEY caused themselves. Been to 2 different stores that say theyve had several issues with them and the way they do their customers... I will be going in this evening. Paying off all devices and going to another carrier. Its impossible to get ahold of ANYONE who is willing to help you on the phone with corporate. Next step, civil court

I am beyond frustrated with this company and store. After making an appointment and waiting an hour in the parking lot, we found that the stores lights were dimmed and there was not a single worker in the store (which should have been opened for 2 hours by this point). The customer service number is just automated and took me in a big circle with no help. The instant help online chat function is a joke with just automated prompts. I would hope that a large company like Verizon would have better customer service than this.

Ive been a Verizon customer and the Albemarle store for over 10years. The Albemarle store has never disappointed me in their service. The store didnt have the phone I wanted, so I orde4 the phone off the internet and then took it to the store and they set it up for me. Really awesome customer service.

Great service and friendly employees they really help you out when they can and aret to busy helping customers they are really straightforward on alot of technology issues services and data phone plans they also take time to help answer your questions and also help fix phones and tablets of yours if they are under Verizon copyrights or trademarks but other then that great store to shop and buy from A+ 5 stars 2👍👍up and 💯💯💯

We went in to purchase and upgrade a phone. The person that waited on us, was less than enthusiastic to wait on us. The store was was indeed busy, however we waited our hour as everyone else. When we left we where having all kinds of issues (Not connecting to VERIZONS network). We went back into the store less than 2 hours after we purchased the phone, just to be told that Verizon was having network issues. A simple Google search determined that was not true. Called the 800 number for support, and got second to none support. The guys on the phone stayed with us until phone was fixed. (It up being a bad SIM card.) The folks in the store, we felt, didnt even want to deal with any type of support after the sale. Been a customer with Verizon/Alltel for over 25 years. This has to be the worst face to face service that we have ever gotten. I will say this, they got me this time, but you will see donkeys fly across sky before I step foot in that store again.

Ricky helped me upgrade my new phone and was top notch!!!!! I’ve had Verizon since I was 16 and my experience just keeps getting better and better.He made sure that before I left, my phone was backed up, I had the storage that I wanted, and I was able to operate without skipping a beat, once I left the store!The general manager Kristie, was overseeing the flow of getting everyone in and out and making sure that everyone’s needs were met. Completely crooks at this place. I’ve been a loyal Verizon customer for years now and have NEVER missed a payment. I have brought my entire family under my plan (Eight lines in total) and have given this location and their employees business. I bought a iPad a month ago and the rep promised me, with his manager beside of him, that the $40 activation would be waived.. except, it wasn’t. I came back in a couple weeks later and talked to Stephanie and she told me she put the request in and it should update over night.. except, it never did. Went AGAIN into the store a week later and was told by another rep that a request was made to waive it and that I should just pay my balance minus the $40 since it should be refunded and let the balance carry over (which would’ve resulted in my perfect payment history to mess up) I ended up still paying the full balance in hopes that the reps at this store would keep their promise.. THEY NEVER DID REFUND ME. I had to call in and make a complaint to the customer representative who stated that they basically made a request to no one and it was just sitting there as a note on my account, hence why it would’ve never credited! She was so sweet and decided to go ahead and refund it (FINALLY!) the rep at the store will literally lie to your face just to make that sale! Made me go through so much to make sure Verizon followed through with their words. After years of going to this store, I would rather make the drive elsewhere to a different Verizon store to receive better/honest service than the Albemarle location. Really disappointed because this isn’t the first time we’ve been done wrong and lied to at this store by the reps.

This store is a total joke, the store manger & his team are nothing but con artist pushing sales, if you need technical service or help with a existing service with Verizon they will ignore you & put you at the bottom of the list because they don’t see a “sale”...after being ignored for 25 minutes on a slow night I walked out of the store & called customer service which was way more helpful than anybody in that store, I want go back again.

I like this store a lot. Folks are friendly and helpful. I dont live in North Carolina, but I do have a Verizon cellphone/plan. Ive been in this store a couple of times over the years with my brother as he adjusts, upgrades, expands the multiple phones and lines on his family plan. This last salesperson was so personable and helped me out with some questions I had about my plan. The store is easily accessible, too. Highly recommend.

My family and I have had issues with this Verizon for years.In my most recent trip, I needed to place an order for a new phone and was simply told You just need to call Verizon because itll be easier that way.Explain to me how its easier to order something over the phone than to be face to face with a Verizon rep? IS VERIZON HOPING PEOPLE DONT APPLY FOR REBATE BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT? The Website to get rebate $50.00 for a Jet Pack really is BAD!!!! We have been to the store THREE TIMES, to get help after trying it myself & they cant get to take the info either, WHY!!!! We also tried the 1 800 number & they told me to go the store. Now they are brushing off the task, I guess because they are not making any money after the sell. Each time, the nice folks say it is done, but I get a e-mail that says INVALID. They have been nice, but that doesnt get me my rebate!! Now, we are getting billed for TWO Jet Packs when I just went to replace the one that over heated, & the battery blew outside of the case. I will have to go back again, wait for another hour or two, and listen to another deep breathe of, Oh-I am not sure what happen. UPDATE!!! Darius has made our day better, a BIG THANKS goes out to him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was able to find the path, through the website for us to make the correction needed!!!! He was very professional. Changing 2 stars to 4 stars!!!!

I made an appointment for 8-24-19 at 10amWhen I arrived others were standing out side waiting for the store to open.When store opened a worker spoke to everyone as we entered getting our information, I told him I had a 10 am appointment. He said the person would be with me shortly. After 15minutes a worker asked if she could help and I told her I had an appointment and she said the person would be with me soon. 5 minutes later a young girl came over and asked who I made the appointment with I told her the name and she said she had not made an appointment with me. But would help me after helping another customer. Then she said another worker has a name that sounds like hers as if I got her name wrong. Well Im sorry but no need to lie to me just say youll be with me after your finished with the other customer. No need to make an appointment because its first come first serve Im cool with that so dont take time to make appointment. As far as getting new phones well thatll not happen there, when you lie you lose

I normally don’t post reviews but when I do it’s because it was either a really good experience or bad. This time I went in to talk about an old bill from my CLOSED account because it was affecting my credit score. First, the worker was very rude, he kept playing with a phone in his hand while trying to speak to me. Apparently these workers don’t know how to communicate well with fees and extra fees they add on to accounts until it’s way past due. Unfortunately at the end he couldn’t solve my issue so he just gave a number so I can tell those people my situation. I’ve been a client there for years now and if I don’t get this bill fixed then I definitely do not recommend Verizon and they need to work at their customer service skills and communication ! Greatly disappointed with Verizon !

Store was closed due to approaching storm from hurricane. All the surrounding merchants were open. Storm really never got as bad as the predictions said. I think it was poor judgment to close that day as it really wasnt needed. Had to go to Walmart to buy the charger needed.

This store seriously needs a makeover of its employees, especially the store manager and his overweight Red head! 🙄 If you are not their for sales then you are put on the back burner, and pretty much forgotten! We were there to move a vzw line over to another vzw line and waited for almost 25min before being helped! I had forgot my ID but I did have my phone and I pulled up the “Verizon pass” that I have to “log into” Through my vzw account to get to the “vzw pass” and that was not good enough for this store or their manager...They still stated they needed the hard copy of my ID The vzw pass clearly states that it is used to “verify Identity” but because we weren’t purchasing anything such as a phone, Or an accessory from this store that is why we were treated this way! After we got home, from this visit... we contacted the verizon Customer service number and come to find out the store manager had been monkeying with my fiancé’s account at a previous visit, but thankfully we where able to get things fixed back like it needed to be, before any damage was done or it was to late to be fixed! The vzw members in this account do not know what they are doing and Their seriously needs to be some cleaning house of staff members in this store!! This store does not know anything about “customer service” all it knows is how to lie to it’s customers Just to make a sale... and that is absolutely NOT Customer Service! Infact it’s the opposite! We have witnessed that 1st hand, during the few times that we have been in this store! We will not be going back to this store... Infact we will be telling everyone we know to avoid this store and avoid it at all costs!

I dont have anything good to say about this store. I was there earlier today to sell a phone I had, to some people i met on fb that wanted it. Anyways we was there about 20-25 mins before a lady working there asked if we had, had any help. There was at least 5-7 employees working there and not many customers, so it shouldnt have taken that long. But we ended up not selling the phone one reason because it took so long the other reason because the people buying it didnt know the concept of we was trying to transfer our pics to another phone. We was not the only ones in there, that was being ignored nor had any help. I heard a lady that was leaving the store, she was stopped by an employee she told the guy that nobody had asked her if she needed any help that she was gonna buy something but had been standing there for over an hour waiting and nobody helped her, so she decided to leave. My point is, this store is a joke because of the employees that were working today. They helped who they chose to, I saw 2-4 employees just standing and sitting around playing on their phone and it still took a long time for us an several other people to get any service. I will never go back to this store!!
