The place has tons of unique items, the prices are pretty reasonable(not everything is 99cents). They had a sign out that said going out of buisness but i talked to the owner and she said they were moving to a new location and would reopen in November of 2021. Im glad the store will be continuing on, its a great place to find so many different things! Their new place will be in Village Square Shopping Mall(Albany, NY)

Me and my family and some friends have been going there for years. The owners are great people, I always find great finds there. I am a fan and my family truly loves this place as well.

I never noticed this place before. Horrible location behind Staples. I guess I assumed it was just part of staples. Noticed due to going out of business sign near the road (misspelled) so I checked it out. If theyve cleared even one item out I cant tell. It looks like someones hoarding in there. Random stuff all over and up to the ceiling. Also passive agressive mask signs on the door are not ok anymore. After 30 seconds I felt claustrophobic and left.

To much in small area hard to see what they have cant touch thing not everything is $.99 more like family. dollar I will go back only because they have thing I like

I loved this place the owners moved some where else after the pandemic hit. I wish they come back they had awesome prices and very nice and polite. If u guys are reading this and opened your location some where else please write me back jasmin

My family has bought some good stuff from here: weve purchased a couple of nice scrolls and a statuette along with many kitchen goods. But...never again! The woman in this store just mistreated my daughter so badly that I will make sure we never shop here again! Weve talked with her many times, and had a pleasant experience. Today, not so much. I dont know if this woman has lost her mind or what, but she followed my daughter throughout the store and harassed her until she decided to put down her selections and leave rather than be insulted. We still dont know what her problem was - mistaken identity or total insanity. Awful! Crazy!

If you visit 99 Cent plan to stay awhile. They have everything you could not imagine. Lots of things for crafting, sewing , jewelry findings, artificial flowers, kids toys, clothing, Buddha, Dragons, lighting, hardware section, slippers, flip flops , Chinese /home decor and so much more. Also, as a person who specializes in inter-cultural communication lets all please remember the Owners are from a very different culture. They have an excellent work ethic and work hard just to survive. Lets not argue over trivial things and respect one another.

They sold me expired batteries, it was cramped and smelled of mothballs. Not sure what is 99 cents, but everything I saw was priced above that... Sorry 99 cent city! I wish I could say something better!

This is my favorite dollar store by far! I live about a half hour from it & pass at least 6 other dollar stores just to go to this one! Why you may ask? Its organized, clean, always stocked, they literally have everything but most of all the husband/wife owners are always super friendly! I definitely recommend checking this store out!

Great place has everything you need except food. Housewares,clothing,tools,knick knacks, things for events. Love this place always go for one thing and exit with a whole lot. Great prices too!

I love this store and I am a frequent shopper. This 99 cent store sells a variety of items starting at 99 cents and going up to multiple dollars. Take time browsing through the aisles and you might find a bargain or two.

A wide variety of items from, houswares to clothing and shoes and all the stuff yoh would expect from a $1.00 store. Owners are engaging and eager to helpA bit cramped and some stuf shelfworn, but full of bargains

It was okay. Not everything in the store is 99 cents tho. Great place if youre planning a party and need bulk napkins, plates and cups. You will have to scavenge for the colors that you need.

I love this store because it has a HUGE variety of supplies though not everything is 99 cents, and some stuff is overpriced. If you search you can find good stuff cheap. Woman at the counter (I assume the owner) is not especially nice. Saw a line of 4 people and she was fighting with the first constomer over an item being 50 cents or a dollar which held up the people in line. The item was stickered 50 cents but the woman said it was a mistake and it was actually a dollar. Seriously everyone in the whole store heard them (I was in the back) arguing over 50 cents and one other person in line said something like its only 50 cents! I personally have worked retail for 15 years at bigger companies and for 50 cents the woman should have eaten the cost. She lost customers (not me Im just super careful there now) that day because she was rude and insistent.

Lots of stuff, a lot, I mean a lot. Fun!

I bought an outdoor pinwheel for my 4 year old. It broke during the night when it wasn’t even that windy out. I brought it back to exchange it as my 4 year old was upset that it broke that quickly and I spent $4.99 on this. (Not $ 0.99 cents). The owner would not let me exchange this item even though it was less than 24 hours and her return policy states exchanges within 7 days. It didn’t say anything about no exchanges if item is broken. And I wasn’t looking to return it just exchange it. Needless to say I walked out of there with a crying 4 year old. The place is very dingy, overcrowded and has an awful odor. I will never go back there again.

99 c & up, which is stated not only on their front door, it is also posted throughout the store. Do not think your going to stop in for just one thing, it aint going to happen. They are like the store front for Wish - they have almost everything- including stuff you didnt even know you needed. Have a friend thats hard to buy gifts for? Do you love a good deal? Have a hoarder uncle? Well then 99 Cent City is your store.

If you are called 99 cent city, I would expect everything to be 99 cents. First thing that greets you is a sign that says not all merchandise is a buck... Booo.Looking around, I would say most stuff is NOT a buck.... Boo again.Messy, disorganized, and dingy. Very odd place. So lame that even my 5 year old didnt want to look around. She had 7 bucks to spend and counldnt find anything worthwhile.Weak store, no clue how it is in business.

You name it, they have it! Wonderful place to get lost and find stuff you didnt even know you needed. The owner has been there for a long time and remembers you when you enter. Go, roam the place you will see!

Certainly not a dollar store, packed with items that are only worth a dollar but price from 3 to 5. This store does have everything. Worth a look you will be amazed.

Typical dollar store merchandise, however, the store name is misleading. Not everything is .99. As a matter of fact, most items are priced higher than that. Only those items without a price tag on them are actually $.99. Im not saying that there are not bargains to be had, just dont expect everything to be a dollar.
