Brett and Brandon were awesome. Got our new car here. Beat our credit union on the rate. no low inventory price make ups or hidden fees at pick up. Pushed the extra warranty but not as far or aggressively as other experiences. Would recommend. Also its recently renovated so the coffee machine is awesome and everything is brand spanking new. Bathrooms new also and clean. All touchless except door out so had to use my shirt to pull handle. Would pee here again.

I just picked up a 2021 Type R from this dealership two days ago. This is so far my easiest car buying experience. Called to inquire about the type R pricing, made an oral agreement 5 mins later. Gave them my card info and they charged $500 deposit. Then drove all the way to Albany from PA 3 days later and found they had all paperwork ready. Signed the paperwork, notarized the title transfer and I was on my way back to PA. You need to have the right salesperson, ask for Enriqué.Oh, did I forgot to mention they also washed and waxed the car before delivery.

The environment is chaotic right now while they undergo some construction. The tech left my passenger seat dirty to the point it needed spray cleaning. Then, I reviewed my repair invoice and found a mistake before I left. It took an hour to correct though! I am happy they took care of it but may not be giving them my business again. I give them 3 stars because they corrected the mistake eventually, apologized, and the cashiers are very nice!

I brought my car yesterday to Lia Honda for oil change service, but it took 4 hours for them to do the oil change, if I’m not mistaken, the name of the advisor who help me out is west… if I didn’t asked him regarding my car, maybe it took more longer for them to do the oil change. That’s my ridiculous experience with them, because they didn’t even say sorry for what happened…

I am not a big fan of car sale reps. I find my experience has always ended the same way with a pushy rep who doesnt listen or hear me when I speak. My experience with Lia Honda was completely different. I had the pleasure of working with Vincent Simeone after spending over 2 hours at another local dealer, who frankly was rude and didnt listen and tried to push me into a lease I didnt want. From the moment I walked into Lia Honda the staff was nothing but exceptional. Within minutes they gave me a quote for my trade in and brought up the car I was interested in for viewing. Vincent made the car buying process seamless and in no time at all, I was working with Bob Martino in finance, who was extremely polite and understanding of my not so perfect credit score. In less than 2 hours, I drove away in my 2021 HR-V.This team is amazing to work with. The following day I received a call from Alex Sakolish who works with Lia Insurance stating he would like to see if he can save me money on my car insurance. Normally I would ignore these types of calls,, but so far my experience was wonderful working with the other members of the Lia Honda team so I returned his call. 20 minute conversation later and I ended the call saving $647.00 a year on my auto and renters insurance.I am not one to ever write a review but after such wonderful and stress-free service, I will recommend Lia Honda sales and Insurance to everyone I know.

Brought my car in for an AC repair. Was told it was a bad compressor after all they did was put refrigerant in the system, and they wanted $1,000 to replace it. There were absolutely zero signs of them inspecting the rest of the system. I got home, bridged the relay for the AC and it started blowing cold. This indicates my issue is likely electrical related. I am not satisfied with their service, as they charged me $270 for the inadequate diagnosis. What a rip off!

I have bought Hondas in the past, and we know they are cars that practically sell themselves. You want the salesperson to be knowledgeable and upfront regarding such a large purchase. I had a terrific experience with Rob Dawes at Lia Honda. He walked me through the process, offered to show whatever vehicles I was interested in, and helped me figure out the financing options. Delivery of the vehicle was timely, he showed me the features and I am still a happy Honda owner.

I had previously bought my Honda Pilot to Firestone Complete Auto Care on Central Ave in Albany because it would not start. I was told by Firestone that I would be charged $100 for a diagnostic, up front. After a 3 day delay, they finally informed me that my engine had seized and I would need a new engine for over $7,000. I live in Mass. so my options were limited and I felt a bit desperate. I think that Firestone sensed this.To get a second opinion, I had the Pilot towed to Lia Honda (Albany). I spoke to Joe Wiley who immediately put me at ease and I knew that I would get an honest assessment of my car. He provided great communication and was very knowledgeable. He was able to look at the car first thing in the morning.Joe and his team immediately determined that they could rotate the motor over freely by hand and thus the engine wasn’t seized. The problem was the Starter in which they replaced for only $700.Total time that my car was at Firestone for the wrong diagnosis was 70+ hours.Total time that my car was at Lia Honda for the right diagnosis was 15+ hours.Joe Wiley has honest, reassuring, and made me confident from the moment I spoke with him on the phone.As for Firestone, were they dishonest or incompetent? I’ll take the high road and call it incompetence and would not recommend them to anyone.A very big thanks to Joe Wiley and Honda Lia for saving me thousands of dollars!

Wes Harrington took care of me in less than an hour. I have a vintage Honda (2001- 7th Gen Civic) and I needed a new key cos the grooves on my old key was worn and it couldnt stick into the ignition switch unless wiggled. I initially called Keeler Honda but they referred me to Lia Honda since they were the only one that had the key for my vintage Honda Civic. Appointment was set for the next day and even though I was a little late Wes was respectful, courteous and professional. He took care of the issue in less than an hour and I was set to go.I have my reservations about Lia but Wes Harringtons professionalism and performance proved me wrong. Good job Wes!

Worse service every. Sales department is ok though. Went for a simple first month appointment and for them to replace my tire since it had a nail in it when I bought it. They did month appointment fine but then pulled my car out to parking lot instead of taking the 5 minutes to change the tire and be done with it. Was told they had o e car out as a loaner so we could go get something to eat but on their way back was in an accident so they didn’t have another one. After 2.5 hours of waiting they came and said tire was being g change. Stepped outside and my car was still in parking lot. They waited until the place was ready to close and there was only a few people left working to finally take my car in. I was the last one of the day. They service department sucks and we were lied to all day. Not a way to treat customers.

Awesome customer service, Steve Smith was very helpful and really resourceful. Was there for a factory recall which initially thought to be workaround for 1-1.5 hours service but after inspecting the car it turned out to be 3 hour job. I didnt want to wait that long. Not only Steve kept me updated on the time it will take but he arranged a drop off and pick up service for me as well. Later once I arrived to find out the car has been fixed and washed also. The cashier, the parts people, reception all were phenomenal and very nice. Hospitality at its best. Great customer service 👏🏻

Very pleased with everything. Booking for service was efficient, arrived to be greeted by Ernie, we explained the problem, estimates were given ahead of time, he called us while waiting for updates, and final bill was no surprises. He greeted me right away and reviewed my service appointment and concerns. He escorted me to the waiting room and returned soon after to explain a problem the service tech had diagnosed. The problem was resolved, and my car was returned CLEAN! The bill was reasonable.

I have had three issues with our two Honda vehicles. One was a cord for the I phone nav the next was a blown fuse on my Ridgeline. The last was a 4th of July break down with the Ridgeline. First to the service writers Earnest and mechanic Mike. They took care of me fast and with a friendly face I think the woman was named Michelle. She is amazing. I wish I knew all the names in the service department each better then the next. Got a frantic call my from my girlfriend this afternoon about her experience at Lia. She went in for an oil change, and tire rotation.She had been approached by a saleswoman to look at the value of her car. So, she agreed to see what her car was worth. Which was fine.Once she found out it then turned into looking at different pilots and payments. Again, which was fine. But it came impressively horrible. They kept on needling her into various payments, options etc.My girlfriend politely said over and over the course of an hour or two that she didnt want to make any decisions or continue discussing without her boyfriend (me) present. She even asked if she could come back this weekend after thinking over the offer. They said no.At some point it swapped to the sales manager or a different salesman and he repeatedly asked her if she made the payments on the car or maintenance and she does. And he kept saying then you dont need him or his permission.How condescending is that? This wasnt about permission. This was about a woman who was feeling pressured, wanted her keys back and felt uncomfortable as hell.Additionally, Im not sure how anyone in a relationship works but with us, we discuss large purchases together, and make decisions together. It doesnt matter whos paying the bill. We dont go out and buy stuff like that without common courtesy.I dont appreciate being called by my girlfriend hysterically crying because she was so stressed out and overwhelmed by some scummy salesperson trying to pressure her to upgrade from a 2017 pilot to a 2019 pilot, and then telling her that common courtesy with her partner didnt matter.It was rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. We have bought 4 vehicles over the last 4 years from the Lia Auto. Never again.You all should be ashamed.Edit: thanks for the apology Mr. Foote, youre sorry about all comments taken the wrong way.Translation: We at Lia Honda feel we did nothing wrong, therefore, we are wrapping our alleged apology up in a nah, its your fault to the customer saying.Tell me, Mr. Foote - at what point did my girlfriend take the you dont need your partners help, or say or answer to him when making a large purchase? This time though he found an impending problem in my front end. I would never have found this until it became a bigger issue. I wanted to look at the Honda Clarity. So we headed toward the entrance where about 5 people where smoking and vaping right by the entrance. I dont care if you smoke or vape just not right by the entrance where people are trying to enter. (Be considerate to new customers or anyone) After we get inside they asked what they could us with. I asked them if I could look at the Honda Clarity. They said that they dont have any and only get about two a year. They also said that its only really a California car. (The dealership decides what cars they purchase) The whole atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Needless to say, Im going to another dealership.

I was very satisfied with the service from Wes Harrington. However, the service team missed a couple of essential, although minor tasks. When they rotated the tires, apparently they did not check air pressure because the next day my idiot light flashed showing air pressure low. Also, they did not re-set the oil life. Just WOW! The service at this facility was impeccable from the check in process, to test driving, and finally sitting down to discuss options and come to an arrangement I couldnt ask for better expert service. Vincent Simeone was very helpful in making my first big car purchase as easy as he could, I walked in expecting a much different experience and boy he delivered. I bought a pre-owned Volkswagen Jetta I saw listed online, Vincent assured me the car rans beautifully, and was as described with it just being on the lot a few short weeks. Being the skeptic that I am I brought it to my personal mechanic to verify before posting my review and he assured me that everything was newly installed in the car from the brakes, rotors, etc and told me it was a great purchase/investment. The car literally only had 42k miles so I commend Vincent for everything he was very knowledgable and friendly, he provided me with amazing, next-level service and I highly recommend anyone in the market for a vehicle to sit down with Vincent. I was so so stressed about finding a new car, but when i met vin... i knew. Vincent made everything so effortless and was a huge help for me. I was F@$*$% at the last dealership i went to and vin assured me that he would help get me to the price i could afford and felt comfortable with. He is very unprofessional and extremely disrespectful at to the customer from the service that I have received. I will be buying cars in future but not from this showroom . Date: April 17th, 2021I WILL NEVER SUGGEST MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP.One of the worst customer services I have experienced. Phil Singh or whatever the name of the manager is, made us feel very unwelcomed and treated us inferiorly. The so-called grandson of the owner this dealership, also behaved with us rudely and told us “we wasted their time.” We went to Honda to purchase a car which is a huge investment for any family. We needed help choosing a color and discuss the investment process and the disrespect mannerism/customer service has affected us, especially me psychologically.As we wanted to look and decide a color of our car, my husband and I went into different dealership to decide on our best investment. At first, we went Lia Honda (this one) then we went Keeler Honda and then back to this destination at Central (Lia Honda). When we went back for our second visit the SAME DAY, the agent and the manager treated us with attitude and behaved with us rudely. They said, “If it is not in your budget, you can see somewhere else” very rudely! They were not answering our questions properly and kept saying I told you the price so on and so forth. THERE IS A WAY TO BEAHVE WITH CUSTOMERS AND JUST because we are DIFFERENT, they treated us like we don’t belong.We are also very much aware of the sale price of the car that we liked (CRV) and even after giving a reasonable discount amount from our end (few hundred differences), they DID not want to help us. It was OBVIOUS the manager and the agent did not want to sell the car to US specifically. Even after all this rude behavior, my husband still behaved politely with the agent and manager. We were made to wait for more than 20 min without any notice as the agent who was attending us, left us to help another customer (WITHOUT ANY NOTICE) and came back to tell us that we are wasting their time. And it was not even an half an hour for our visit because we were looking at the colors/thinking about the financial process.They behaved with us in such a rude way that clearly showed they wanted us to leave their facility right away. NEVER GOING BACK.

Lia Honda is great for Service!!..I went in this morning without an appointment, and was told there were about 40 appointments that were made, and I would be there awhile...I was expecting 3 or 4 hours...about an hour and 20 minutes later,I was told my my Service Tech. Ernie, id be out of there in about ten minutes,and Ernie was able to fit my budget,and the guys in the shop really know what theyre doing...it may be a little more expensive than going to a regular mechanic,but,id rather pay a little extra for a tech that knows exactly what to do to fix a problem.Ive always been really happy with the service I get from Lia Honda!.Id highly recommend them!!

We came to Lia Honda to purchase a 2020 Odyssey. We had been shopping around in CT, but were dismayed at the amount of additional fees that CT dealers are legally allowed to add to a sale once a vehicle price has been negotiated. In the case of a dealer in Hartford, it added up to $1000. Lia Honda had the vehicle we wanted, so we came into the dealership knowing their online price, exactly the same as the car in CT. We had called ahead, and were met by Anthony Allegra, who immediately went to bring the car over to us for a test drive. After we returned, we told him that we liked the car, and would buy it if they would match the trade-in price we received on our car from the dealer in CT. Anthony took this information down, and returned within 5 minutes to tell us Lia would match the price. This surprised us, as the dealer in CT took almost an hour to get us a price. It was an awesome experience, and Id definitely recommend Anthony Allegra and Lia Honda if youre in the market for a car! Exceptional, no-pressure car buying experience. At delivery, we signed a few papers, and paid $100 in fees, vs. $1000 in CT.

Joe Wiley was helpful and the repairs were done as quickly as possible. They are following COVID19 safety measures well in most ways, although some employees dont seem to be taking precautions like masks and distancing when talking to each other. Everyone did follow them when talking to me, but it would be better to be consistent. I am happy with the way my car ended up running and appreciated the ride home and back. Overall it was a good experience.

As a manager from monro, ordering parts from here is nothing but a hassle every time. Mike from parts sounds like he hates his job. When I call to order a part or ask for price/availability hes like depressed and bothered that im even calling him and making him do his job. Hes very impatient with me and now I have an unhappy customer because I ordered parts last week for early this week and he didnt order them so I still dont have them and I wont till Monday. So Im definitely not using this dealer anymore for sourcing out parts. Not even worth the waste of time dealing with someone who doesnt want to do their job.

After 16 years of owning my previous car, it was finally time to get a new one. I knew I wanted a Honda Fit, so I contacted Lia Honda. Everyone I worked with on this process was so helpful regarding which Fit to buy, the paperwork required, financing etc. I especially want to thank Kasey Harding, Brendan Shields, and Chris Dollard for assisting me. Horrible and embarrassing experience at Lia Honda! I went and found a honda civic that I loved. Anthony helped me and he was great on Saturday. Everything went well I signed over the title of the car which it said there was a Lien on the car but I was told that could be put into the loan and i would just pay it off. Everything was finalized and he told me to enjoy my new car. Yesterday I received a call from Anthony asking if I could come to Lia Honda because he forgot to give me one finally paper that needed to be signed. I showed up right away and he told me that there was a lien and i had to give the car back. Not only did he lie to me on getting me to come back up there but all the staff was treating me rude including the manager. They energy was completely different from Saturday. I spoke with my insurance company Geico and she said she does not understand how Lia honda missed that.Some years ago I had an issue with a salesman at Lia and they didnt approve me and I went to Rennselaer Honda in Troy and they were so helpful and got me into a newer honda.I can understand if I had a Lien on the car and there was an issue but what I dont respect is the LIE that Anthony the salesman told me to get me to come back. I am a very honest person and had he told me the truth over the phone I still would of came right back and returned the car. Something that was Lia Honda fault they made me feel horrible. I spoke to another deal and they cleary said Lia Honda messed up!!!

Insanely kind, honest, and professional. Have taken my newer Honda that I bought there not too long ago for a couple up-keep things already then my air conditioner blew nothing but hot hair. I called they got me in the next day, I was going to drop it off before work, but they found the problem in SECONDS and told me I could keep driving it until the called me to tell me the part was in. I HIGHLY recommend them for everything and everything. Sure they may be slightly pricier because theyre a dealership but you can GARUNTETEE the best service, mechanical and customer, around.

Lia Honda is truly the best dealerships around. I had a scheduled appointment for the following day, when driving my tire felt off. My TPMS light came on so I decided to stop by, to see if there was anything they could do for my before my appointment. When I arrived Joe Calabucci immediately brought my car in to check out my tires. He found a large stone in my tire, and was able to have it replaced within the hour. He as well had my service for the following day done without even asking, to make it more convenient for me. From sales to service, I truly love Lia Honda. Thanks again!

I purchased/leased my CR-V 30 days ago. Great experience! However when I took my car in for their 30 day inspection I was disappointed. After buying this new vehicle and delighted to be driving this fine brand new vehicle, I received a flat. How frustrating to buy a new vehicle and get a flat with brand new tires not even 30 days old. I replaced the flat tire with the spare tire....easy process. So when I took the car in for the 30 day inspection, I asked to have the flat tire repaired. I was a little shocked when they told me how much it would cost to patch a tire. If I had known how much Lia would charge, I would have taken it to a reliable service station near my home for half the cost. And now to add to my frustration, I see the stem valve on the tire that was repaired is missing the stem cap. What a way to start off on the purchase of a new vehicle and the dealings with a new dealership? Frustrating!Since this was originally written, the service manager contacted me and was very sympathetic and understanding and credited my account! Kudos to Lia Honda!

This is my six Lia Honda Cars. I came in for service checkup and Wes Harrington was my service technician. Wes recommended 15,000 miles check-up on my Liah Honda HR-V. I did not realized that I need a wheel alignment on my vehicle and Wes included this as part of my 15,000 miles service.___Wes Harringtons combination of skill, experience and intuition is exactly what Lia Honda needed as a service technician. Additionally, his professional ethics are superb. We are confident he would never misrepresent a problem or overcharge us in any way.I am truly would not trust my family vehicles to anyone else, and we recommend him to anyone seeking a competent, trustworthy service advisor.

I went to Lia service center and spoke to Joe Wiley about an issue with my 2017 CR-V and the tire pressure indicator light constantly staying on. Joe step up an appointment for me and after I arrived he verified the issue. Once he verified the issue informed of the reason for this and then showed me how I could fix the problem. He sent the car thru to double check all the tire pressures and verify there was no other problem causing the light to be on. I having been dealing with Joe on any issue I have with my (3) Hondas (1) of which was not purchased there, and he has always been professional, courteous and takes the time to explain what will be check and then after the repair informs me of what was done.

Joe Calabucci was pleasant and personable in taking my requests for routine preventative service. He directed me to the wait room. My total wait time was beyond 2 hours which I felt was long. He did finally come to say they had found a leaky axle? seal. That was unexpected. After paying for service he let me know that they sanitized the interior and had given the car a wash. Overall good experience!

Today, Oct 9, 2020 Friday I have an appointment for NYS emission inspection. An agent W asked me if they will let me do the wheel alignment for $145, because I am scheduled to have an out of state travel the next day for leaf peeping ( fall foliage) I bought the agents offer. Minutes later while I was already waiting in the customers lounge, agent W approached me with 2 used air filters in his hands. He asked me that my filters needs to be changed. I asked for the price of the filters and he said one will cost me $67 and the other is $78. I hesitated due to the price and asked him why the filters are so expensive? He answered because it is Honda and has antibacterial on it. With hesitation I said hmm okay, then lets do it. While the agent walked away I immediately started searching on Amazon to look for air filter prices with added features like a deodorizer and antimicrobial. I found out its way lower than their prices. I ran to the agents booth and told him that I changed my mind, I dont need new air filters at this time. The agent with worried look immediately ran in haste to the back apparently to the car service area. He came back and told me that the filters were already placed in my car and it is impossible to take it back. I said No, I will pull it out myself, I know it is simple and easy. I said just pull it out, you cannot force to sell your product to me it is unfair. I proceeded back to the waiting area. A few minutes later agent W approached and explained that their honda filters were already placed in my car and they cannot pull it out just by that because their filters are sealed and the seals were already broken. Honestly, I was about to call the police to settle the issue once and for all. I dont know what to do. Finally I accepted my fate. I said sorry for showing the agent that I am not happy. But I am not really happy.

I went to get my car Oil change and my car detailed there. No problem I’ve had it done a few times there. When I got home I folded my seats down and look at this mess! Sand was still all over the back of the car! It cost over 300$ for a hot mess of a job to be done! So very disappointed in this!!

Their service department advisor is not knowledgeable enough to even solve a simple problem such as Low tire pressure sign on my dashboard. I have a Civic performance car which needed a flat tire replacement, but the service advisor forgot to calibrate the TPMS after a new tire was installed which caused Low Tire Pressure sign on the dashboard. Since my original visit (tire replacement), I had to go there at least three times and every time I was there the advisor just checked the tire pressure and said everything was fine, but didnt look into why the TPMS sign keeps coming back. He just didnt had the right skills to fix a simple problem. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone looking to get their Honda serviced.
