Opppsss I think I just shared my comments about Big 5 on Coastal Farms. But I had a Great time at Big 5. The 2 employees a girl and guy were awesome, helpful, and so friendly! Than Morgan the manager helped me with trying her contacts to find some items for me. She called me back with the result. How cool! Thanks. I will shop there often.

Went shoe shopping during the early afternoon. The employees were helpful and attentive to asking questions to help me find the right shoe. They have a fairly good selection and would recommend going there to find anything sports related.

The Sales Staff helped find some water shoes that will hold up for the rest of the summer- I wore out my previous pair very quickly so that brand was not an option.I had an online/ in store coupon they helped locate on my phone.Friendly helpful service!!

Good athletic sports wear, great place to buy everyday shoes.

It was open, stocked, staff was courteous, and I found 35 pound weights for my workouts and a cheap yoga mat for my Halloween decorations.

They have been a huge benefit to our non-profit organization, Family Assistance and Resource Center Group. They provide a discount on survival gear for the houseless population in Linn County. Thank you Big 5!

Got just what I needed. Helpful staff directed me to where things were located, checked back to make sure I was able to find what I needed and opened up a second checkout so I didnt have to wait in line. This is typical for every time I have shopped there.

Came here to get my wife some hiking boots, and that was a success. They had a good range of boots available. Some of them seemed too cheap to me, but everyone has their own idea of what is acceptable and what isnt. The associates were just the right level of helpful. I also ended up buying a shirt that was on clearance. That wasnt really part of the plan, but my wife convinced me we shouldnt pass it up. Overall, well done.

Big 5 rocks!I knew what I wanted when I went in, a cot and a utility/decline bench.I located the cot almost immediately, then proceeded to browse around before locating the utility bench. Floor space is at a premium, and the bench was not on display, but in the storeroom. Thankfully there was a display board with several equipment items shown, and tickets for each item. No sooner had I taken a ticket for the bench I came in for, when an employee asked if they could help me with the item and explained the items are available immediately, just held in back.So, I handed the employee my ticket, and crossed the store to grab the cot. Upon returning to the area outside the storeroom I was informed by another employee my item was already waiting at checkout.Awesome, efficient service.Virtually everything you could need sports/outdoors.Im going to have to come back when I can spend time finding my next pair of shoes. My occupation has my putting about 100 miles on my feet a week so I go through tires pretty quick.Nice work today, Big 5.Thank you!

I bought binoculars in Newport they did not have the lens covers stopped at Albany store to find out why I didnt get lens covers , girl behind counter told me she couldnt help me theres nothing she could do about it. Went to the Salem store and ask the same question why didnt I get lens covers 2 minutes later I had lens covers . I guess Albany only hires uneducated personnel very disappointed in them.

They are a smaller store so their variety is limited. Prices are in all ranges and they have decent sales.Staff is very helpful with shoes and any other product. They dont make you feel rushed. They are patient and help you find what you are looking for.They also sell hunting and fishing permits.Their later hours is also convenient.

I went in to buy running shoes. I thought they were there to help you find the right fit and shoe. All they did was go in the back and grab my choices and drop them off. I was bummed.

They generally have what I come in for if they dont they let me know right away. They always greet me at the door, very friendly. Over all always a pleasant experience.

Got a kayak and other equipment from here, spent alot of money, realized the Kayak was not what we wanted. Was treated terribly during the return. Have chosen here over sportsman’s many times, will NEVER do that again.

Cheap shoes

Was immediately helped as I was looking for a type of shoes that Ive never worn before. The salesperson was named Jacob and he was patient as I asked many different questions and then tried on a half a dozen shoes. I was confident in my purchase at the end.

The staff was not properly trained or attentive. The fishing section was lacking. Better for other sports.

Called the store to ask for a specific shoe. Was transferred to the footwear department took over a minute for someone to answer or help me. When the person whoever answered the phone answered it they were very rude. I have a hard time hearing and I don’t know if they heard me ask my question. After repeating it they just hang up on me.Only reason for one star is because there’s not an option for zero stars.Sincerely disappointed.
